Momolu says, FOUND IT!

Bani says, DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THE SMELL OF CUPCAKES?
Inside, tables are set out and a few streaks of paint are on the walls.
(All exclaiming)
All cry, CUPCAKES!
There is a covered stand with three cupcakes on a counter.
Momolu says, HOORAY FOR KIMU!
Bani and Nooni cry, HOORAY FOR US!
(Gasping)
Kimu walks out, carrying a cupcake on a plate.
Kimu says, FRIENDS! WELCOME TO MY PERFECT CAFE!
Nooni says, SO DELICIOUS!
Kimu says, THANK YOU, I SPENT ALL WEEK PERFECTING MY RECIPES.
Nooni reaches for the cupcake, but Kimu moves the plate away.
Kimu says, AH-AH-AH, NOONI. THE CAFE ISN'T OPEN YET! BUT DON'T WORRY! I'M OPENING SOON!
Bani asks, UM, KIMU? DID YOU WANT TO PAINT THE CAFÉ BEFORE YOU OPEN?
Kimu drops the plate and the cupcake.
Kimu says, OH NO! I WAS SO FOCUSED ON MY CUPCAKES THAT I FORGOT ALL ABOUT PAINTING! I CAN NEVER OPEN MY PERFECT CAFÉ IF IT LOOKS LIKE THIS!
Momolu says, IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE PERFECT, KIMU.
Kimu says, YES, IT DOES! THIS OPENING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST OPENING EVER! BOTH THE CUPCAKES AND THE CAFE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PERFECT! NOW LOOK AT IT, IT'S A PERFECT MESS!
(Drumbeats)
Momolu says, NOT IF WE CAN HELP! BIG HELPER AT YOUR SERVICE. OH, AND LITTLE HELPERS TOO!
Kimu says, OH, THANK YOU! I FEEL BETTER ALREADY. ONLY WHAT COLOUR SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY PERFECT CAFE?
Bani says, GEE, KIMU. I LOVE BLUE! IT CALMS ME.
Nooni says, FORGET BLUE. YELLOW'S BEST! FULL OF ENERGY! LIKE ME!
Kimu stares at a paint can.
Kimu says, HMM... I DON'T KNOW. BLUE IS THE COLOUR OF SPARKLING SAPPHIRES BUT YELLOW REMINDS ME OF THE SUMMER SUN! I CAN'T DECIDE.
Momolu says, KIMU, IT'S YOUR CAFE. WHAT COLOUR MAKES YOU HAPPY?
Kimu says, OH, MOMOLU! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT? PINK! PINK IS MY FAVOURITE!
Momolu says, PINK IT IS! BANI? NOONI? READY TO PAINT?
Both cry, YAY!
Kimu says, BUT WE NEED TO BE QUICK. I'LL PAINT IN HERE. AH... CAN YOU PAINT THE OUTSIDE?
All cry, ON IT!

Bani, Momolu and Nooni start painting the outside of the building. Nooni runs around, using three brushes at once.
Nooni shouts, WHOA!
(Panting)

(Kimu chuckling)

Paint drips on Kimu’s head.

Momolu stands on a ladder to paint.

Nooni trips over a table and goes flying.
(Crashing)

Momolu bumps into a table.

Nooni bangs into a wall.
Momolu slides across the floor on top of a table.

Nani says, IF YOU USE A LIGHTER OR DARKER COLOUR, THEN THE DIFFERENT COLOURS WILL STAND OUT FROM THE PINK! NOW YOU SEE IT...

Nani says, THAT'S CONTRAST!

Nooni dives for the cupcake and trips.
(Crashing, shouting, giggling)

Everyone grabs a paintbrush, and a different coloured paint can.
(Panting)
Nooni runs around, using three paintbrushes.
Momolu says, THE NEW COLOURS CONTRAST THE PINK, AND NOW WE CAN SEE EVERYTHING!
The counter is blue, the table white, and the floor is brown.
(Kimu sighs)
Kimu says, THANKS MOMOLU. IT'S NICE, BUT NOT AMAZING.
Momolu says, HMM... I HAVE AN IDEA! LIKE I ALWAYS SAY... HOW ABOUT WE GET A LITTLE CREATIVE?
Momolu paints a darker pink square outline on a wall.
Bani asks, CREATIVE?
Nooni says, HUH? I LIKE CREATIVE!
Momolu whispers to Kimu.
(Whispering)
Kimu says, IF MOMOLU SAYS IT'LL BE CREATIVE... I KNOW IT'LL BE AMAZING!
Momolu says, THANKS, KIMU. LET'S USE STAMPS TO MAKE A MASTERPIECE!
Kimu says, THAT SOUNDS GOOD!
Bani cries, STAMPS! I LOVE STAMPS!
Momolu says, FIRST WE'LL NEED POTATOES, CARROTS AND THESE COOKIE CUTTERS. THEN WE PUSH THE COOKIE CUTTER INTO THE POTATO. LIKE THIS!
Momolu uses the cookie cutter to cut out cloverleaf shape.
Bani asks, MAY I PLEASE USE THE CUPCAKE-SHAPED COOKIE CUTTER? I LIKE CUPCAKES.
Momolu says, SURE, BANI.
Nooni says, OH! OH! CAN I USE THE STAR, PLEASE?
(Giggling)
Momolu says, A STAR FOR OUR SHOOTING STAR!
Nooni cries, WOO-HOO!
