A narrator says, PANDA PATIENT.
Momolu stands on a step stool under a tree. He reaches for a branch.
(Grunting)
Banni says, BE CAREFUL, MOMOLU! MAYBE WE SHOULD WAIT FOR HUHU TO COME HELP US?
Momolu pulls a box kite down from the branch.
Momolu says, GOT IT!
Banni says, YAY! THANK YOU!
Momolu says, NOW, WE'RE READY TO GO SEE THE SPOTTED CHICKATOOTLE BIRD... ONCE EVERYONE ELSE GETS HERE.
Momolu slips off of the step stool. He sits on the ground.
Momolu cries, OW! MY KNEE!
(Banni gasps)
Banni asks, CAN YOU BEND IT? ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, HOW MUCH DOES IT HURT?
Momolu says, UM... I DON'T KNOW. SEVEN?
Momolu says, I FEEL SO BAD THAT YOU HURT YOUR KNEE WHILE GETTING MY KITE BACK.
Momolu says, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. I DIDN'T LOOK WHERE I WAS GOING.
Banni says, UH, I DON'T KNOW... HMM.
Banni lifts Momolu’s foot.
Momolu cries, OW!
Banni says, SORRY, SORRY, SORRY! I KNOW WHAT WILL HELP! YOU NEED A BANDAGE.
Banni hops away.
Momolu says, HMM...
Momolu stands up.
(Groaning)
He takes a few limping steps.
Banni hops back, carrying a first aid kit.
Banni says, NURSE BANNI, AT YOUR SERVICE! MOMOLU! STOP WALKING!
Momolu says, HMM...
Momolu sits back on the ground.
Banni rummages in the kit. She sprays Momolu with a mist from a bottle.
Momolu says, OOH.
Banni says, YEP.
Banni wraps bandages around Momolu’s leg.
Banni says, AH-HA... YEAH... OKAY... HMM...
Banni wraps pink tape over top of the bandage, then pulls out a roll of blue tape.
Momolu says, THANKS, BUT I DON'T REALLY NEED ALL THIS FUSS.
Banni says, OF COURSE YOU DO! WE HAVE TO MAKE YOUR KNEE BETTER.
Nooni, Hiko and Huhu walk over, carrying baskets.
(Gasps)
Huhu asks, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
Banni says, HE HURT HIS KNEE AND IT'S MY FAULT! NOW HE CAN'T GO ON THE PICNIC.
Momolu stands up.
Momolu says, MAYBE I CAN WALK.
Banni helps Momolu hop over to sit on a stool.
Banni says, NO, NO, NO. YOU HAVE TO STAY PUT UNTIL YOU FEEL BETTER.
Banni says, AW, THAT'S TOO BAD. THIS TRIP WAS MOMOLU'S IDEA.
(Sighs)
Huhu says, IT WON'T BE THE SAME SEEING THE SPOTTED CHICKATOOTLE BIRD WITHOUT YOU!
Nooni says, IF MOMOLU CAN'T GO, THEN I WON'T GO EITHER.
Momolu says, NO. GO AHEAD WITHOUT ME AND TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT WHEN YOU COME BACK.
Huhu says, IT WON'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YOU.
Hiko says, IF ONLY WE HAD A BED ON WHEELS, THEN MOMOLU COULD COME AND SEE THE BIRD WITH US WHILE TAKING CARE OF HIS KNEE.
(Gasping)
Banni cries, HIKO! MAYBE WE CAN MAKE A BED FOR MOMOLU... WITH A WAGON!
Huhu says, OOH, I LOVE THAT IDEA! I'LL GO GET MY WAGON!
Huhu flies off.
(Music playing)
(Wheels squeaking)
Huhu pushes a pink wagon to the yard.
All say, OOOH!
Huhu says, SIR, YOUR CARRIAGE AWAITS!
Momolu gets up.
Momolu says, YAY!
Banni says, NO! YOU NEED TO SIT DOWN AND REST. IT'S NOT READY YET.
Nooni says, THAT'S RIGHT, IT DOESN'T LOOK MUCH LIKE A BED.
Nooni hops into the wagon.
Nooni says, IT'S NOT VERY COMFY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A HURT KNEE. AND IT'S KIND OF SMALL...
Hiko says, HMM... I KNOW HOW WE CAN MAKE ROOM FOR MOMOLU!
Hiko takes the sides off the wagon.
(Giggling)
Hiko says, TA-DA! TA-DA-DA!
Nooni says, WITH SOME PILLOWS, IT COULD BE COMFY.
Banni says, I'M ON IT!
Banni hops inside her house and comes back out carrying a stack of pillows and a glass with a straw. She hands the glass to Momolu.
Momolu says, OOH!
(Slurping)
Momolu says, YUM, THANKS! YOU KNOW WHAT? MY KNEE ISN'T SO BAD.
Banni tosses a pillow to Hiko and Nooni.
Hiko says, YAY!
(Nooni giggling)
They put the pillows in the wagon.
Hiko says, YES! IT'S ALL COMING TOGETHER! WE JUST NEED A CUP HOLDER, A HORN...
Banni says, I'LL GET MORE BANDAGES!
Huhu says, I'LL DECORATE IT!
Nooni says, I'LL MAKE SURE IT'S COMFY!
Nooni jumps on the pillows.
(Grunting)
Hiko says, LET'S GET TO WORK.
Momolu says, BUT...
Hiko sets a bicycle horn on the wagon.
(Music playing)
Hiko says, MM-HMM, THE HORN JUST LIKE THIS...
Banni adds a cup holder.
Banni says, UH-HUH... YES!
Nooni fluffs the pillows.
Nooni says, UH, YES... YEAH!
(Laughing)
Nooni says, PILLOWS!
Huhu sits at an outdoor table and draws on purple construction paper.
(Humming)
Huhu says, OOH... THERE!
Huhu cuts out a wing shape.
Nooni picks up a glue bottle.
Nooni says, COLOURFUL FEATHERS, AND GLUE...
(Giggling)
Nooni says, AND OF COURSE THE WAGON!
Nooni and Hiko attach two decorated purple construction paper wings to the wagon.
Hiko says, VERY CAREFULLY
Huhu adds a string of colourful balls.
Hiko says, OOOH!
Banni says, MOMOLU IS GOING TO LOVE THIS!
Momolu sits on the stool and moves his knee.
(Moaning)
Momolu says, HMM! THAT'S NOT SO BAD. MM-HMM... HUH ? HEY! IT'S RIGHT AS RAIN!
Momolu shakes off the bandages and tape.
(Giggling)
Banni says, IT LOOKS SPECTACULAR!
Huhu says, JUST LIKE A PARADE FLOAT!
Hiko says, IT'S A MOMO-MOBILE!
(All laughing)
Nooni says, YEAH!
Momolu walks over.
Huhu says, HURRAY! MOMOLU, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE MOMO-MOBILE?
Momolu says, I LOVE IT! IT'S VERY COOL AND SNAZZY!
(Gasping)
Banni says, YOU HAVE TO SIT!
Momolu says, NO, I DON'T...
Everyone says, HUH? WHAT?
Momolu says, BECAUSE I'M FEELING BETTER! THE REST AND BANDAGE REALLY HELPED! AND IT WASN'T AS HURT AS I THOUGHT.
Banni asks, ARE YOU SURE?
Momolu says, I'M TOTALLY SURE. I TRIED TO TELL YOU BEFORE, BUT YOU WERE SO BUSY MAKING ME THIS AWESOME MOMO-MOBILE.
Banni says, I FELT SO BAD THAT YOU GOT HURT.
Momolu says, YOU'RE THE BEST NURSE EVER!
Banni says, MAYBE NEXT TIME, I'LL LISTEN BETTER.
Huhu asks, SO YOU DON'T NEED THE MOMO-MOBILE ANYMORE?
Momolu says, WE SURE DO! I HAVE A ROLY-POLY PANDA OF AN IDEA!
(All laughing)
Momolu and his friends all wear bicycle helmets. Momolu stands behind the wagon and everyone else sits on it.
Momolu asks, READY FOR A RIDE?
All cry, OH YEAH!
(Horn tooting)
Momolu calls, CHICKATOOTLE BIRD, HERE WE COME!
(Panting)
(Grunting in effort)
Momolu runs while pushing the wagon.
Banni cries, YOOHOO!
Huhu shouts, OOH, OOH!
(All laughing)
Hiko looks through a spyglass. Momolu pushes the wagon along a path.
(Horn tooting)
A pink bird with purple wings and yellow spots flies above the wagon.
Momolu says, THE SPOTTED CHICKATOOTLE!
