The spaceship travels back home.
Purple Panda lands and gets out
of the spaceship. He rushes

carries it onto the ship. The
spaceship’s door closes behind him.

PUSH THE BIG
PURPLE BUTTON!
COUNTDOWN!”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda say,

BLAST OFF!
WOO-HOO!”
The spaceship takes off into the sky.
Purple Panda adds,
“WE'RE BRINGING
THE BIRTHDAY PARTY TO MAMA!
HERE WE COME!”
Donkey Hodie responds,

Purple Panda gasps.

flies back home. He lands, rushes
out, and carries a birthday cake
to the spaceship.

The spaceship’s door closes behind
him. Donkey Hodie and Purple
Panda fly up into the sky.
Purple Panda says,
“OH NO! I FORGOT THE BALLOONS!”
He gets out of the spaceship at home
and carries pink and purple balloons
back aboard. The spaceship takes
off again.
Purple Panda says, “WHOOPS,
I FORGOT THE PARTY HORN!”
Purple Panda lands. He rushes out
of the spaceship and carries a large
horn back in. The spaceship takes off.
Purple Panda says,
“WHOOPS, FORGOT
THE PURPLE PINATA!”
Purple Panda lands. He rushes out
of the spaceship and carries a purple
pinata back in. The spaceship takes off.
Purple Panda says,

as he rushes out of the spaceship. Purple
Panda carries party hats back in. The

A large purple button sits in the
middle of the spaceship’s controls.
Donkey Hodie asks,
“THIS BIG PURPLE BUTTON?”
Purple Panda answers,
“THAT'S THE ONE!”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda
press the button. It lights up.
Donkey Hodie says,
“PUSHED THE BIG
PURPLE BUTTON!”
Purple Panda nods,
He says,
“AND NUMBER THREE
ON THE LIST IS TO COUNTDOWN!”
Donkey Hodie replies,
“COUNTING DOWN!”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda
count down together,
“THREE... TWO... ONE...
BLAST OFF!”
The spaceship takes off into the sky.
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda shout,
“WHOO, YEAH!
PLANET PURPLE
HERE WE COME!”
Purple smoke floats out of the
spaceship’s rockets as Donkey Hodie
and Purple Panda fly up.
Donkey Hodie says,
“I CAN'T WAIT TO GIVE
YOUR MAMA HER PURPLE FLOWER!”
Purple Panda responds,
“OH, AND I CAN'T WAIT
TO GIVE MY MAMA
MY SPECIAL
BIG BIRTHDAY CARD!”
Donkey Hodie says, “HEE HAW!”
Purple Panda adds, “YEAH!”
Donkey Hodie looks around
the spaceship
She says, “HEY, PANDA…”
Purple Panda responds, “HI!”
Donkey Hodie asks,
“WHERE IS YOUR
BIRTHDAY CARD?”
Purple Panda gasps.
He replies, “OH NO!
THE BIRTHDAY CARD!
I FORGOT TO BRING
MAMA'S BIRTHDAY CARD!”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda say,
“OH NO!”
Purple Panda asks,
“WHAT DO WE DO, DONKEY?”
Donkey Hodie answers,
“WE TURN THIS
SHIP AROUND, PANDA!
MY BEST FRIEND
IS NOT GOING TO FORGET
TO BRING A BIRTHDAY CARD
HE MADE FOR HIS MAMA
TO HIS MAMA'S
BIRTHDAY PARTY!”
Purple Panda replies,
“WELL SAID, DONKEY!”
Donkey Hodie responds,
“THANK YOU!”
Purple Panda states,
“TURNING THE SPACESHIP
AROUND!
HANG ON!”
Purple Panda makes a sharp turn.
The spaceship travels back home.
Purple Panda lands and gets out
of the spaceship. He rushes
toward the birthday card and
carries it onto the ship. The
spaceship’s door closes behind him.
Purple Panda says, “LET'S GO!
BUCKLE UP!
PUSH THE BIG
PURPLE BUTTON!
COUNTDOWN!”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda say,
“THREE... TWO... ONE...
BLAST OFF!
WOO-HOO!”
The spaceship takes off into the sky.
Purple Panda adds,
“WE'RE BRINGING
THE BIRTHDAY PARTY TO MAMA!
HERE WE COME!”
Donkey Hodie responds,
“OH, I JUST LOVE
BIRTHDAY PARTIES, PANDA!
ESPECIALLY
THE BIRTHDAY CAKE.”
Purple Panda gasps.
He says, “I FORGOT THE CAKE!”
Purple Panda makes a u-turn and
flies back home. He lands, rushes
out, and carries a birthday cake
to the spaceship.
He says, “GOT THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!
TIME TO BLAST OFF.”
The spaceship’s door closes behind
him. Donkey Hodie and Purple
Panda fly up into the sky.
Purple Panda says,
“OH NO! I FORGOT THE BALLOONS!”
He gets out of the spaceship at home
and carries pink and purple balloons
back aboard. The spaceship takes
off again.
Purple Panda says, “WHOOPS,
I FORGOT THE PARTY HORN!”
Purple Panda lands. He rushes out
of the spaceship and carries a large
horn back in. The spaceship takes off.
Purple Panda says,
“WHOOPS, FORGOT
THE PURPLE PINATA!”
Purple Panda lands. He rushes out
of the spaceship and carries a purple
pinata back in. The spaceship takes off.
Purple Panda says,
“WHOOPS, I FORGOT
THE PURPLE PARTY HATS!”
Purple Panda lands. He breathes deeply
as he rushes out of the spaceship. Purple
Panda carries party hats back in. The
spaceship takes off.
Purple Panda says, “WHOOPS!”
The spaceship lands and takes off again.
Purple Panda says, “WHOOPS!”
The spaceship lands and takes off again.

He picks up a walkie-talkie.

“HEY, SPACESHIP!
TURN AROUND!
WE FORGOT US!”
The spaceship flies back down to
Purple Panda and Donkey Hodie.
They rush inside.
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda sit
In the spaceship.
Donkey Hodie says,
“OKAY, PANDA,
LET'S BLAST OFF!
HURRY!”
Purple Panda responds,
“BUT DONKEY!
I JUST KEEP
FORGETTING EVERYTHING
I NEED FOR
MAMA'S PARTY!
AND NOW WE'RE
GONNA BE LATE!
I JUST DON'T KNOW IF
I FORGOT ANYTHING ELSE!
DID I?”
Donkey Hodie and Purple Panda
look around the spaceship. The cake,
balloons, tuba, party hats, flower, and card
Are piled behind them.
Donkey Hodie asks, “DID YOU?”
Purple Panda replies,
“I DON'T KNOW!
HOW WILL I KNOW IF
I REMEMBERED EVERYTHING
FOR HER PARTY?”
Donkey Hodie responds,
“THINK,
DONKEY HODIE, THINK.”
Donkey Hodie gasps.
She says, “A-HA!
A LIST! THAT'S IT, PANDA!”
Purple Panda asks,
“WHAT'S IT, DONKEY?”
Donkey Hodie answers,
“YOU MADE A LIST OF THE THINGS
THAT YOU NEEDED TO DO
TO START THE SPACESHIP
AND BLAST OFF.
SO, YOU REMEMBER

Purple Panda replies,
“RIGHT!”
Donkey Hodie adds,
“SO, LET'S MAKE A LIST OF

the spaceship.
She says,

He carries a birthday crown onto
the spaceship.

He carries slippers onto the spaceship.

Purple Panda carries Bob Dog onto the ship
as Donkey Hodie checks off another box.

at the list.

Bob Dog sit in the spaceship.

The spaceship zigzags past red and
yellow planets in space. Purple smoke
fills the star-filled darkness. Purple
Panda lands the spaceship near a house
on a purple planet.
Streamers and balloons are hung.
Mama Panda says,
“OH, MY LITTLE
PURPLE PUMPKIN PIE!”
Purple Panda replies,
“MOMMY!”
Mama Panda adds,
“I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY CARD!
AND MY BIRTHDAY CROWN
AND MY FUZZY PURPLE
BIRTHDAY SLIPPERS...
AND BOB DOG
AND EVERYTHING FOR MY PARTY!

Purple Panda says,

Donkey Hodie responds,
