(Thud, alarm ringing)

Donkey Hodie opens her front door. Purple Panda, a tall bear with purple fur, is there. He wears a red bowtie.

(Chuckles)
Panda turns sideways to go through the door.
Panda says, AHH.
Donkey Hodie says, PANDA, I HAVE GREAT NEWS.
Panda asks, YEAH? AH?
Donkey Hodie says, TODAY IS GONNA BE AN AWESOME, EXTRA-FUN, VERY GOOD DAY.

(Gasps)
Panda says, I LIKE TO FEEL FANCY.
Panda adjusts the tie.
(Squeaking)
Donkey Hodie says, TODAY FOR THE AWESOME, EXTRA-FUN, VERY GOOD DAY, WE'RE GONNA HAVE OUR NUMBER-ONE MOST FAVOURITE BREAKFAST.
Both shout, CRUNCH DOODLES!
Donkey Hodie says, AND IT'S SPECIAL BECAUSE WE'RE EATING CRUNCH DOODLES TOGETHER.
Panda says, YEAH, CRUNCH DOODLES AND FRIEND DOODLES! THAT'S ALL I NEED FOR A GREAT DAY.

Panda says, YEAH, AND IT ALL STARTS WITH A HEALTHY CRUNCH DOODLE BREAKFAST.

Donkey Hodie says, GOOD THING I GOT A BRAND-NEW BOX OF CRUNCH DOODLES.
Panda says, YEAH. LET'S EAT THEM. UH, WHERE ARE THE BOWLS?
Donkey Hodie says, WELL, THEY'RE RIGHT OVER HERE!
Donkey Hodie points and knocks over a cereal box. Cereal spills over a counter.
(Both gasp)
Donkey Hodie says, UH... TODAY IS NOT AN AWESOME, EXTRA-FUN, VERY GOOD DAY. TODAY IS OFFICIALLY BAD. GRR!
(Grunting)
Donkey Hodie stomps away.
Donkey Hodie sits on a couch.
(Sighs)
Panda asks, UM, HEY, DONKEY? UH, ARE YOU MAD?
Donkey Hodie says, YES, BUT -- BUT NOT AT YOU. I'M -- I'M MAD AT TODAY! OH, I'M MAD AND SAD AND GRUMPY. UGH!
(Sighs)
Panda says, I'M SORRY YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DAY, DONKEY. BUT I THINK I KNOW WHAT MIGHT CHEER YOU UP.
Panda zips off and comes back holding a ukulele.
(Whoosh)
Panda plays the ukulele.
(Music playing)
Panda says, HUH?
(Donkey Hodie sighs)
Panda zips away. He comes back wearing a clown nose and a curly red wig.
(Whoosh)
Panda says, HIYA, DONKEY.
(Chuckling)
Panda dances. He squeezes the nose.
(Honking)
Donkey Hodie leans back on the couch.

Panda rushes off and comes back in a moustache and a black top hat. He holds a black wand.

The wand turns into a bouquet of flowers.

Donkey Hodie says, NO.

Panda sits on the bed. Donkey Hodie leans against him.

(Both breathe deeply)

Donkey Hodie says, OH, THAT'S HOW TODAY STARTED. I HOPPED OUT OF BED, TURNED OFF THE ALARM CLOCK, AND KNOCKED IT ONTO MY LITTLE HOOF.
Panda asks, THE LEFT ONE?
Donkey Hodie says, MM-HMM.
Panda says, OH, BUT THAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE HOOF!
Donkey Hodie says, I KNOW! I'VE BEEN KIND OF GRUMPY SINCE THIS MORNING.
Panda says, THAT'S A LONG TIME TO BE GRUMPY.
Donkey Hodie says, TOO LONG. I'M TIRED OF BEING GRUMPY. THERE'S GOT TO BE SOMETHING I CAN DO TO CHEER MYSELF UP. THINK, DONKEY HODIE. THINK.

Donkey Hodie turns and Panda ducks under the bed.

Panda pops back up.
Panda says, UH, OH, NOTHING. UH, Y-YOU WERE SAYING?
Donkey Hodie says, HMM. IF LOOKING AT THE CLOCK MAKES ME GRUMPY BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF MY BAD DAY, WHAT IF I LOOKED AT SOME THINGS THAT REMIND ME OF A HAPPY DAY?
Panda says, DONKEY HODIE, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA. HEY, MAYBE WE CAN PUT SOME THINGS IN A BOX.
Donkey Hodie says, YEAH! WE CAN CALL IT, UM, THE HAPPY STUFF BOX. WE JUST NEED A BOX.
Panda says, RIGHT. MM...
(Gasps)
Panda says, OH! FOUND ONE!
Panda puts a large box on the bed.

Panda looks in the drawer.
Panda says, OKAY, LET'S SEE. WHAT ELSE? WHAT ELSE? OH! OH, NO.
Donkey Hodie holds up a small shovel.

A flashback shows green hills.
Panda says, OH, WOW. I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT WE HIKED THIS FAR.

Present day Donkey Hodie and Panda look at the box.

Donkey Hodie says, THANKS, PANDA. YOU'RE A TRUE-BLUE PURPLE PAL.
Panda says, I'M ALWAYS HERE TO HELP, DONKEY.
Donkey Hodie says, WELL, I THINK I JUST NEED TO BE SAD RIGHT NOW.
Panda says, THAT'S OKAY. I CAN HELP WITH THAT, TOO.
(Music playing)
Donkey Hodie lowers the blanket.
Panda says, HI! YOU KNOW, NOT TO BRAG OR ANYTHING, BUT I HAVE SOME VERY SOFT SHOULDERS. YOU CAN LEAN ON THEM IF YOU WANT.
Panda sits on the bed. Donkey Hodie leans against him.
Donkey Hodie says, OH.
(Chuckles)
Donkey Hodie says, OH, YEAH. OH, THAT IS GOOD. DO YOU USE CONDITIONER?
Panda says, EVERY DAY.
(Both breathe deeply)
Panda gasps, DONKEY! YOUR ALARM CLOCK WAS ON THE FLOOR! I DON'T WANT YOU TO STEP ON THIS. THAT WOULD MAKE ANYONE GRUMPY.
Donkey Hodie says, OH, THAT'S HOW TODAY STARTED. I HOPPED OUT OF BED, TURNED OFF THE ALARM CLOCK, AND KNOCKED IT ONTO MY LITTLE HOOF.
Panda asks, THE LEFT ONE?
Donkey Hodie says, MM-HMM.
Panda says, OH, BUT THAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE HOOF!
Donkey Hodie says, I KNOW! I'VE BEEN KIND OF GRUMPY SINCE THIS MORNING.
Panda says, THAT'S A LONG TIME TO BE GRUMPY.
Donkey Hodie says, TOO LONG. I'M TIRED OF BEING GRUMPY. THERE'S GOT TO BE SOMETHING I CAN DO TO CHEER MYSELF UP. THINK, DONKEY HODIE. THINK.
Panda says, OKAY, WHILE YOU THINK, I'LL HIDE THE CLOCK. THAT WAY, YOU WON'T SEE IT AND REMEMBER ALL THE THINGS THAT WENT WRONG TODAY. UH... DON'T LOOK. I SAID DON'T LOOK!
Donkey Hodie says, NO, NO, NO. PANDA, YOU GAVE ME AN IDEA. YOU'RE RIGHT. LOOKING AT THE CLOCK MAKES ME FEEL GRUMPY.
Panda says, YEAH.
(Gasps)
Panda says, HEY, DONKEY. WHAT'S THAT?
Donkey Hodie turns and Panda ducks under the bed.
Donkey Hodie says, WHAT?
Panda pops back up.
Panda says, UH, OH, NOTHING. UH, Y-YOU WERE SAYING?
Donkey Hodie says, HMM. IF LOOKING AT THE CLOCK MAKES ME GRUMPY BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF MY BAD DAY, WHAT IF I LOOKED AT SOME THINGS THAT REMIND ME OF A HAPPY DAY?
Panda says, DONKEY HODIE, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA. HEY, MAYBE WE CAN PUT SOME THINGS IN A BOX.
Donkey Hodie says, YEAH! WE CAN CALL IT, UM, THE HAPPY STUFF BOX. WE JUST NEED A BOX.
Panda says, RIGHT. MM...
(Gasps)
Panda says, OH! FOUND ONE!
Panda puts a large box on the bed.
Donkey Hodie says, PERFECT. I, DONKEY HODIE, WILL CHEER MYSELF UP.
Panda says, LET'S GET STARTED.
(Music playing)
Donkey Hodie rummages in a drawer.
Donkey Hodie says, HMM. UH... OOH!
(Grunts)
Donkey Hodie takes out a packet of flower seeds.
Donkey Hodie says, HEY. HEY, PANDA!
Panda says, HUH?
Donkey Hodie asks, YOU REMEMBER THIS?
Panda says, DO I? EH -- UH, DO I?
Donkey Hodie says, THE UNGROWDENIA FLOWER.
Panda says, OH, YEAH!
In a flashback, a yellow flower leans against a grey one.
Donkey Hodie says, IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL.
Panda says, YEAH, SURE IS. OH, HEY! DO YOU SEE THAT?
Donkey Hodie says, HMM?
(Gasps)
Panda says, THEY REALLY ARE FLOWER FRIENDS.
In present day, Panda and Donkey Hodie look happy.
Panda says, THAT WAS A PRETTY SPECIAL DAY.
Donkey Hodie says, YEAH. IT DEFINITELY MAKES ME HAPPY WHEN I REMEMBER IT, SO I'M PUTTING THIS SEED PACKET IN THE HAPPY STUFF BOX FOR SURE.
Panda looks in the drawer.
Panda says, OKAY, LET'S SEE. WHAT ELSE? WHAT ELSE? OH! OH, NO.
Donkey Hodie holds up a small shovel.
Donkey Hodie says, OH! PANDA, LOOK!
Panda says, OH, YEAH. WE USED THAT SHOVEL THE DAY WE HELPED KING FRIDAY BUILD HIS SANDCASTLE.
Both say, YEAH.
In a flashback, King Friday has white hair and gold crown. He stands with Donkey Hodie and Panda in front of a tall sandcastle.
Donkey Hodie says, OKAY, ROYAL SANDCASTLE BUILDERS, LET'S SEE HOW WE DID.
All say, OOH.
In present day, Panda laughs.
(Chuckles)
Panda says, THAT WAS SUCH A GREAT DAY.
Donkey Hodie says, MM-HMM.
Panda says, EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK ME LIKE FOREVER TO GET THE SAND OUT OF MY FUR.
(Chuckles)
Panda looks in the drawer.
Panda says, HMM, LET'S SEE. OH! HEY, DONKEY, HOW ABOUT THIS?
Panda holds up a blue flag with Donkey Hodie and Panda on it.
Donkey Hodie says, OH, YEAH. IT'S THE FLAG FROM THE DAY WE TRIED TO CLIMB MOUNT REALLY HIGH UP.
A flashback shows green hills.
Panda says, OH, WOW. I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT WE HIKED THIS FAR.
Donkey Hodie says, ME, EITHER. HEY, LET'S PUT OUR FLAG HERE SO WE CAN MARK HOW FAR WE GOT ON OUR VERY FIRST TRY.
Present day Donkey Hodie and Panda look at the box.
Panda says, I THINK THE HAPPY STUFF BOX IS WORKING.
Donkey Hodie says, HEY, YEAH! I CHEERED MYSELF UP. I'M IN A WAY BETTER MOOD NOW.
Panda says, YEAH, ME, TOO! AND I WASN'T EVEN IN A BAD MOOD, SO NOW I'M LIKE SUPER HAPPY.
Donkey Hodie says, THIS HAPPY STUFF BOX MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST IDEAS WE'VE EVER HAD.
Panda shouts, HEY-O!
