Panda pushes a blast-off button. The ship does not start.

[Gasps]

Panda asks,

HMM. THAT'S STRANGE.
LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN.

[Clears his throat]

Panda counts,
THREE, TWO, ONE...
BLASTOFF!

The ship does not start.

Panda says,
NAH...UH...NUH.
HMM.
UH, THREE, TWO, ONE, BLASTOFF!
UH, BLASTOFF! BLASTOFF!
BLASTOFF!

[Gasps]

Panda says,
OH, WAIT.
YUP, I FORGOT TO TURN
ON THE PURPLE PANEL!

[Giggles]

Panda unbuckles his seat belt.

Panda says,
NO WONDER IT WON'T WORK!

He pulls a lever and looks around.

Panda says,
UH, OH.
OH, THIS CAN'T BE GOOD.
WOAH! OH!

[Clattering]

Panda slips on purple pegs on the floor.

He says,
OOO! THIS IS NOT GOOD.

Outside, Donkey shouts,
HAVE FUN AT THE PLANET
PURPLE SONGFEST, PANDA!

Panda replies,
UH, UH, UH, DONKEY!
UH, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!
UH-UH, I NEED YOUR HELP!
WOAH!
HURRY, PLEASE!

Panda trips on the glass pegs. Donkey boards the ship.

She says,
WHOA!
WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
WHAT ARE ALL THESE THINGS
ON THE FLOOR?

Panda answers,
THOSE ARE PURPLE PEGS.
THEY FELL OUT
OF THE PURPLE PANEL HERE.

Donkey asks,
SO, ALL THESE PEGS ARE
SUPPOSED TO BE IN THAT PANEL?

Panda says,
YEAH.
THE PANEL MAKES
MY SPACESHIP WORK.
AND WITHOUT THE PEGS,
THE PANEL DOESN'T WORK...

Panda gasps,
MY SPACESHIP IS BROKEN!

Donkey replies,
BROKEN?!? OH, NO!

Panda adds,
OH, I CAN'T FLY TO
PLANET PURPLE FOR SONGFEST...
I CAN'T FLY TO
PLANET PURPLE AT ALL!

Donkey picks up a peg.

She says,
IT'S OKAY, PANDA!
ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS PUT
THESE PEGS INTO THAT PANEL!
EASY PEASY!

[Giggles]

Donkey sticks the peg into a hole on the panel.

She says, HM.

[Buzzer sounds]

Donkey pulls the peg back out.

She says,
HMM.
GUESS IT'S NOT THAT EASY.

Panda replies,
YEAH, OF COURSE,
IT'S NOT EASY!
THIS IS A SPACESHIP!

Donkey says,
IT IS A SUPER-BIG JOB, PANDA,
BUT NEVER FEAR, FORs I,
DONKEY HODIE, WILL HELP YOU
FIX YOUR SPACESHIP.

Donkey runs away from Panda and then returns with a stack of books.

Panda says,
UH, BUT DONKEY,
A BOOK CAN'T FIX MY SPACESHIP.

Donkey replies,
NO, BUT MAYBE A BOOK
CAN SHOW US HOW TO FIX IT!

[Pages fluttering]

Donkey opens a book.

She says,
OH WOW!
IT'S GRAMPY'S SONGBOOK
PICTUREBOOK!

Panda replies,
OH, WELL, THAT'S NICE,
BUT A SONGBOOK PICTUREBOOK
DEFINITELY CAN'T HELP US
WITH THIS SUPER BIG JOB.

[Giggling]

Donkey says,
NO...
BUT IT MAY HELP US FIGURE OUT
WHAT WE NEED TO DO!

Panda and Donkey read the book.

Panda shouts,

OH, AND I CAN DRAW A PICTURE
OF ALL THE JOBS WE NEED TO DO.

Donkey nods.

She replies, MM-HMM!

Panda adds,
SO WE WON'T FORGET.
IMA GO GET MY ART SUPPLIES!

Panda runs away from Donkey.

Later, Panda draws on a desk on the ship. Donkey watches him.

She says, AH.

Panda finishes a checklist with drawings of him and Donkey doing jobs.

He says,
OKAY!
THIS PLAN LOOKS GREAT, DONKEY!

Donkey replies,
YEP, JOB ONE...
THE PURPLE PEGS ARE DIFFERENT
SHADES OF PURPLE...

Panda replies,
...SO TO HELP US GET ORGANIZED,
WE SHOULD PICK THEM UP
AND SORT THEM BY COLOR.

Donkey says,
JOB TWO.
ONCE WE HAVE THE PEGS SORTED,
WE'LL HAVE TO PUT THEM BACK
IN THE PURPLE PANEL
IN ALL THE RIGHT HOLES.

Panda says,
LAST JOB.
TURN ON THE PURPLE PANEL
AND SEE IF IT WORKS.
HMM.
ONE, TWO, THREE LITTLE JOBS.
OKAY!
I THINK WE CAN DO THIS!

Donkey replies,
I KNOW WE CAN DO THIS!
LET'S DO THAT FIRST JOB!
PICK UP THOSE PURPLE PEGS
AND SORT EM.

Donkey says, OKAY!

Later, three cups are placed on the desk. They are three different shades of purple.

Donkey says,
YOU CAN PUT THEM
IN THESE THREE CUPS.

Panda holds a peg.

He says,
OKAY, SO, THIS PEG
IS DARK PURPLE.
SO, WE'LL PUT THE DARK PURPLE
PEGS IN THE DARK PURPLE CUPS.

Donkey picks up another peg.

She says,
THIS ONE'S LIGHT PURPLE.
SO THE LIGHT PURPLE ONE
GOES IN...
THE LIGHT PURPLE CUP!

Panda grabs another peg.

He says,
AND THIS ONE'S MEDIUM PURPLE.
THESE GO IN THE
MEDIUM PURPLE CUP.

Donkey and Panda place more purple pegs into their proper cups. There are four pegs in each cup.

Panda says,
DONE! CHECK!
HEY-O!

He marks off the first job on his checklist.

[Giggles]

Donkey says,
SEE?
THAT WASN'T SO HARD!

Panda replies,
I KNOW!
WOW, IT FEELS SO GOOD
TO FINISH A JOB AND JUST…

[Pen clicks]

Panda says, …CHECK IT OFF.

Donkey looks at the checklist.

She says, LET'S SEE WHAT'S NEXT.

Panda replies,
WE HAVE TO PUT THE RIGHT PEGS
IN THE RIGHT HOLES.

Donkey adds,
WE CAN'T PUT THEM
JUST ANYWHERE OR ELSE
WE'LL HEAR THAT "EHHH!" SOUND.

Panda adds,
YEAH, AND THAT IS NOT
A GOOD SOUND.

Donkey shakes her head.

She replies,
MMM.
DO YOU REMEMBER
WHAT THE PURPLE PANEL
LOOKED LIKE WITH ALL THE PEGS
IN THE RIGHT PLACE?
DID THEY MAKE A PATTERN,
OR A PICTURE?

Panda answers,
UH, NO.
IT WAS JUST A LOT OF DIFFERENT
PURPLES ALL MOOSHED TOGETHER!

Donkey replies,
OKAY, WE'LL JUST HAVE
TO FIGURE THIS OUT.
THINK, DONKEY HODIE, THINK…

Panda taps his chin and looks down.

He says,
HMM.
I WISH I HAD A PICTURE
OF THE PURPLE PANEL
BEFORE IT WAS BROKEN
SO I CAN REMEMBER
WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.

Donkey replies,
HMM, A PICTURE...
A PICTURE?!
HEE-HAW, I'VE GOT IT!

Donkey runs away from Panda. She comes back with a photograph of him on his ship.

Donkey says,
I TOOK THIS PICTURE THE FIRST
TIME I RODE IN YOUR SPACESHIP.
AND LOOK, YOU CAN SEE THE PEGS
IN THE PANEL!

Panda replies,
HEY YEAH! THERE THEY ARE,
ALL IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

Donkey adds,
WE CAN USE THE PHOTO TO MATCH
HOW THE PEGS SHOULD
GO IN THE PANEL.

[Sighs]

Panda scratches his head.

He says,
THAT'S A LOT OF
PURPLE PANEL HOLES.

Donkey replies,
REMEMBER THE SONG, PANDA.
WE'LL JUST TAKE IT
ONE PEG AT A TIME.

[Inhales deeply]

Panda says,
ONE PEG AT A TIME.
OKAY.

[Inhales deeply]

Panda nods.

He says, LET'S DO THIS.

Donkey looks at the photograph.

She says,
SO, IN THE FIRST ROW,
THE FIRST PEG IS MEDIUM PURPLE.

Panda picks up a medium purple peg.

He says,
FIRST HOLE, MEDIUM PURPLE.

Panda slides the peg into the panel.

[Both gasp]

Panda says, I DIDN'T HEAR A BUZZ!

Donkey replies,
HEE-HAW...
THAT MUST MEAN THE PEG
IS IN THE RIGHT HOLE!

Panda says,
YEAH, BUT WE STILL HAVE
A LONG WAY TO GO, THOUGH.

Donkey says,
ONE PEG AT A TIME, PANDA.
ONE PEG AT A TIME.

Donkey and Panda nod.

Panda says,
ONE PEG AT A TIME.
RIGHT.

Donkey looks at the photograph again.

She says,
THE NEXT PEG
IS LIGHT PURPLE…

Panda picks up a light purple peg.

He says, ...LIGHT PURPLE...

Panda slides the second peg into the panel. Donkey and Panda work together to fill the panel with the pegs.

[Both gasp]

Panda smiles.

He says, WE DID IT.

Donkey adds,
AND NOT A SINGLE "EHH."

Panda shouts,
OH, WE DID IT!
HEY-O!

[Giggles]

Panda marks off the second job on his checklist.

He says,
CHECK!
WOW!
I FEEL AMAZING!
WHAT, THAT WAS SO HARD,
BUT WE DID IT!
HEY-O!

Donkey replies,
WE SURE DID, PANDA PAL,
BUT WE'RE NOT DONE YET.
WE STILL HAVE ONE MORE JOB.

Panda looks down at the checklist. The drawing beside the box shows him pulling the lever.

Panda says,
OH, YOU'RE RIGHT.
WE HAVE TO TURN ON THE PANEL
AND SEE IF IT WORKS.

[Inhales deeply]

Panda says, HERE WE GO.

[Panel whirring]

Panda pulls the lever. The panel lights up.

[Gasps]

Panda says,
IT WORKS!
WE FIXED MY SPACESHIP!
CHECK!
HEY-O!

Panda marks off the last job on his checklist. The blast-off button lights up blue. Panda sits in his captain’s chair.

Donkey says,
HEE-HAWESOME!
I KNEW WE COULD DO THIS
SUPER BIG JOB!

Panda replies,
I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT
WITHOUT YOU, DONKEY.

[Giggles]

Donkey adds, OR THESE PICTURES.

Panda says,
OH YEAH!
DRAWING OUT ALL THE LITTLE JOBS
AND TAKING THEM ONE STEP
AT A TIME REALLY HELPED!
THANKS, DONKEY!

Donkey replies,
DON'T THANK ME,
THANK GRAMPY'S
SONGBOOK PICTUREBOOK!

Panda waves to the book.

He says, OH, HI!

[Giggles]

Panda adds,

Donkey replies, as the book,
YOU'RE WELCOME!

[Giggles]

Panda asks,
OH, WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME TO
THE PLANET PURPLE SONGFEST?

[Giggles]

Panda says,
