In an animated forest, pink butterflies fly above trees.
[Cheerful music plays]
Young monkey Tee pops out from behind a rock in the forest.
He says, HA-HA!
His mother, Mo, pops up beside him. She wears a flower above her ear and giggles.
A narrator says, THIS IS THE STORY
OF TEE AND MO.
Tee and Mo wiggle their ears.
The narrator says, A LITTLE MONKEY AND HIS MONKEY
MUM.
Mo wears a purple skirt. She and Tee throw a yellow tablecloth over the rock.
The narrator says, WHO SOMETIMES WANT TO DO
DIFFERENT THINGS.
Mo holds up a pineapple. Tee giggles and holds up a tall sandwich.
The narrator says, BUT ALWAYS
END UP HAVING FUN TOGETHER.
Tee and Mo eat their snacks together. They toss aside their tablecloth and snacks and wave to their animal friends. Lily, a tiger cub, Tomo, a flying squirrel, Mr. Og, a warthog, and Heidi, a hippo. Tee hops into his moms arms and they smile.

On the ground, Action Ape practices fighting moves. He flies.
He says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Tee watches Action Ape on a TV with his Action Ape toy.
A narrator says, TEE'S WATCHING HIS
FAVOURITE TV SHOW,
ACTION APE.
Tee stands and copies Action Ape.
Tee says, OOH-AH-OOH!
He picks up his toy.
He says, OOH-OOH-AH!
He copies Action Ape’s fighting moves.
Tee says, HA-HA.
On TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Tee sits down in front of the TV with his toy. Mo walks over with a bucket.
She says, TEE!
Tee doesn’t notice Mo.
On TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Mo says, TEE?
Tee says, OOH?
He turns to Mo.
Mo says, OOH-AH-OOH-OOH.
She holds up the bucket and smiles.
The narrator says, WHO WANTS TO HELP MO CLEAN
THE CAR?
Mo walks away. Tee smiles. On TV, Action Ape bursts through a stack of boxes.
[Explosion]
Tee looks back at the Action Ape show.
On TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Tee says, OHH.
He places his Action Ape toy in front of the TV and slowly backs away.
On TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
The narrator says, I THINK TEE WOULD
RATHER BE WATCHING
ACTION APE.
On TV, Action Ape flies through boxes.
[Explosion]
Tee quickly returns.
He says, OOH!
On TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Mo looks behind her.
She says, HUH?
OOH-OOH-AH-OOH-AH-OOH!
The narrator says, BUT, TEE, YOU'VE WATCHED
THIS A HUNDRED TIMES!
Mo says, HMM…
She scratches her chin.
She says, AH-HA.
The narrator says, LOOKS LIKE MO'S UP TO
SOMETHING.
On the TV, Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Mo calls, TEE!
Tee says, HUH?
He turns away from the TV. Mo runs in dressed like a super hero. Her costume includes a red bucket on her head and a yellow cape.
[Dramatic music plays]
Mo says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Tee says, OOH!
The narrator says, IT'S MONKEY MUM!
Mo says, OOH-AH!
She pulls out a smaller super hero costume similar to Action Ape’s.
The narrator says, AND SHE NEEDS ACTION APE TO
HELP HER WITH A CAR WASH
EMERGENCY.
Tee looks excited.
He says, OOH-AH-OOH!
The narrator says, THIS IS A JOB FOR ACTION APE
AND MONKEY MUM!
Tee and Mo run side-by-side in their super hero costumes. Tee wears a red mask like Action Ape. They stop and pose.
They say, OOH-AH-OOH!
Outside, a car is dirty. Tee, as Action Ape, and Mo, as Monkey Mum, high-five. Monkey Mum holds a sponge and bucket of water. Action Ape holds a garden hose.
He says, AH-HA!
He sprays water at the car but is thrown back by the water pressure.
[Action Ape grunting]
Monkey Mum wipes the car with the sponge. Action Ape sprays the car with the hose. They leap past each other.
Action Ape says, HAH!
Monkey Mum and Action Ape finish cleaning the car by wiping the headlights.
Action Ape says, HA!
He and Monkey Mum toss aside their rags and high-five.
The narrator says, ACTION APE AND MONKEY MUM
HAVE SAVED THE DAY!
Inside, Tee plays with his Action Ape toy and a stack of blocks.
He says, OOH-HA!
The narrator says, LOOKS LIKE ACTION APE'S IN
TEE'S ROOM.
Tee says, OOH-AH-OOH-AH-AH.
He knocks over the blocks with Action Ape.
He says, HA-HA.
[Tee giggling]
Tee smiles.
The narrator says, AND THEY'VE BOTH MADE IT A
BIT UNTIDY.
Mo, as Monkey Mum, steps into the room.
She says, TEE.
Tee says, HM?
Monkey Mum says, AH-OOH!
She pulls out Tee’s Action Ape costume and a broom.
Mo says, OOH-AH!
The narrator says, MONKEY MUM NEEDS ACTION APE
FOR A TIDYING EMERGENCY.
Tee says, OH.
He does not look interested.
Mo says, AH-OOH-AH-AH, TEE.
The narrator says, ANOTHER JOB FOR ACTION APE
AND MONKEY MUM.
Tee, as Action Ape, looks bored, but runs alongside Monkey Mum. They stop and pose.
They both says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Action Mom sounds excited. Action Ape sounds bored.
Monkey Mum says, HUH?
She looks at Action Ape.
Monkey Mum twirls the broom.
She says, HAH!
Action Ape makes super hero poses.
[Action Ape grunts]
Monkey Mum says, TEE!
Action Ape says, HUH?
Blocks land in Action Apes arms.
[Action Ape grunts]
Books and more blocks fall in his arms. They fall into a toy bin. Monkey Mum uses the broom to clear the floor of toys. Action Ape clears toys off the floor by pushing them.
[Grunting]
Toys land in the bun. Action Ape plays with a purple dinosaur toy. It looks like they are both flying.
Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH!
Monkey Mum grunts as she struggles to lift Action Ape and his toy. Action Ape drops the toy in the bin.
[Action Ape giggling]
[Monkey Mum groaning]
Monkey Mum lowers Action Ape to the ground.
She says, OOF.
Action Ape and Monkey Mum fist-bump. Action Ape looks at a stack of blocks, kicks them over and poses.
The narrator says, THE HEROES HAVE DONE IT
AGAIN.
[Dramatic music plays]
Outside the house is a pile of leaves.
The narrator says, OH, THE GARDEN'S LOOKING
TIDY.
SOMEONE'S RAKED UP ALL THE
LEAVES.
The pile of leaves shakes. Tee’s arm appears from the pile holding his Action Ape toy.
He says, AH-HA!
The narrator says, OH, MAYBE IT WAS ACTION APE.
Tee says, OOH-OOH.
He bursts out of the pile of leaves, scattering them across the yard.
Tee says, OOH-AH-OOH!
The narrator says, OH DEAR.
LOOKS LIKE THE GARDEN NEEDS
TIDYING UP AGAIN.
Tee plays in the leaves with Action Ape.
He says, OOH-OHH.
AH!
[Tee giggling]
Mo, as Monkey Mum, walks outside. She puts her hands on her waist and one foot on an upside down bucket.
She says, TEE?
Tee looks up from the leaves.
He says, OOH.
Monkey Mum cheers, OOH-AH-OOH!
The narrator says, MONKEY MUM NEEDS ACTION APE
FOR A GARDEN EMERGENCY.
Monkey Mum pulls out Tee’s Action Ape costume and a rake.
She says, OOH-AH!
The narrator says, ANOTHER JOB FOR ACTION APE
AND MONKEY MUM!
Tee looks sad.
He says, OHH…
The narrator says, AH, TEE'S REALIZED THAT MO'S
SUPERHERO GAMES ARE A BIT LIKE
TIDYING UP.
Tee, as Action Ape, looks sad as he stands beside a running Monkey Mum. Monkey Mum smiles and poses.
She says, OOH-AH-OOH!
[Action Ape groaning]
Action Ape says, OOH-AH-OOH.
In the yard, Monkey Mum kicks the rake into her hand.
[Monkey Mum grunts]
Monkey Mum gives Action Ape hand rakes.
[Action Ape sighs]
Monkey Mum smiles as she easily rakes up the leaves. Action Ape struggles to carry leaves.
[Action Ape grunting]
Monkey Mum rakes more leaves. Action Ape carries more leaves with his hand rakes.
[Action Ape grunting]
Action Ape drops the leaves into a bin. He frowns. Monkey Mum grins and puts out her fist. Action Ape drops his hand rakes and pulls off his mask.
Monkey Mum says, OOH?
Tee hands her his mask.
The narrator says, I THINK TEE'S HAD ENOUGH OF
BEING ACTION APE TODAY.
Tee walks away.
[Dramatic super hero music plays]
Back inside, Tee watches Action Ape on the TV with his Action Ape toy.
The narrator says, I THINK TEE WOULD RATHER WATCH
ACTION APE ON THE TV.
Mo stands behind Tee with a hand behind her back.
The narrator says, BUT HERE COMES MO AGAIN.
Mo says, TEE.
[Tee groaning]
Tee doesn’t look at Mo.
Mo says, TEE?
Tee stands.
[Tee groans]
Tee turns around.
He says, HM?
Mo says, OOH-AH-AH-OOH-AH.
She reveals a tray of snacks.
The narrator says, MO'S GOT TEE A SUPER SNACK
FOR ALL HIS HELP.
[Tee gasps]
Tee quickly cleans up a pillow that is on the floor. He makes a spot on the floor with another pillow. He smiles and pats the pillow. Mo carries over the tray of snacks and takes a seat beside Tee.
The narrator says, AH, LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE A
SUPERHERO TEAM AFTER ALL.
Tee hugs Mo. On the TV, Action Ape flies through a stack of boxes and away from an explosion.
[Tee and Mo gasping]
Tee says, HE-HE.
He picks up his toy Action Ape.
[The Action Ape toy squeaks]
[Cheerful music plays]
