[Crickets chirping]
Pink butterflies fly over an animated forest.
[Cheerful music plays]
A young monkey pops out from behind a rock in the forest.
He says, HA-HA!
A monkey with a flower in her hair pops up beside him.
[Giggling]
A narrator says, THIS IS THE STORY
OF TEE AND MO.
Tee and Mo wiggle their ears.
The narrator says, A LITTLE MONKEY AND HIS MONKEY
MUM.
Mo wears a purple skirt. She and Tee throw a yellow tablecloth over the rock.
The narrator says, WHO SOMETIMES WANT TO DO
DIFFERENT THINGS.
Mo holds up a pineapple. Tee giggles and holds up a tall sandwich.
The narrator says, BUT ALWAYS
END UP HAVING FUN TOGETHER.
Tee and Mo eat their snacks together. They toss aside their tablecloth and snacks and wave to their animal friends. Lily, a tiger cub, Tomo, a flying squirrel, Mr. Og, a warthog, and Heidi, a hippo. Tee hops into his moms arms and they smile.

Tee lies asleep in bed with Action Ape and his purple dinosaur.

Tee slowly wakes.

Tee stretches and smacks his lips. He relaxes in his bed.
[Tee sighing]

Tee grins and stands up on in bed.
He yells, TOMO!
The narrator says, TEE LOOKS EXCITED
ABOUT SOMETHING.
Tee jumps off his bed.
He cheers, TOMO!
In Mo’s room, Mo sleeps under her purple blanket.
[Mo snoring]
Tee cheers, TOMO!
He jumps up and down beside Mo’s bed.
He cheers, TOMO! TOMO! TOMO! TOMO!
TOMO!
Mo wakes suddenly.
[Mo screaming]
[Mo gasping]
Tee climbs onto Mo’s bed.
[Tee giggling]
Mo sits up in bed.
[Mo groaning]
Mo glances at her bedside table and shakes her head.
She groans, TEE!
She shakes her head.
[Tee taking a deep breath]
Tee yells, TOMO!
[Mo gasping]
[Tee giggling]
Mo frowns. Tee looks excited as he climbs off the bed.
The narrator says, OH, THAT'S RIGHT.
TOMO'S COMING ROUND
FOR A PLAY DATE TODAY.
Mo smiles.
Tee yells, TOMO!
He runs to the door.
He cheers, TOMO!
Tee opens the door’s mail slot.
He says, TOMO!
He looks around the front yard through the mail slot.
The narrator says, HMM. DOESN'T LOOK LIKE
TOMO'S HERE YET.
Tee lets the mail slot close. He looks disappointed.
[Tee sighing]
Mo joins Tee.
She says, TEE?
[Tee groaning]
The narrator says, AW, TEE.
IT IS PRETTY EARLY.
Mo says, AH-AH, OOH-AH.
The narrator says, I THINK TOMO WILL BE HERE
AFTER BREAKFAST.
Tee smiles. He rubs his belly.
He says, MMM. AHA!
He runs past Mo and climbs onto a seat at the kitchen table.
[Mo humming]
Mo walks into the kitchen.
Tee says, OOH! OOH! OOH!
Mo slides a bowl of cereal across the table to Tee.
The narrator says, THAT'S RIGHT, TEE.
Tee quickly eats his cereal.
The narrator says, I'M SURE BY THE TIME
YOU'VE FINISHED
THAT LOVELY BOWL OF CEREAL,
TOMO WILL –
Tee finishes the cereal and yells, TOMO!
Before Mo can sit down, Tee jumps out of his seat and tosses his spoon. Mo catches the spoon before it falls. Mo frowns.
[Mo sighing]
Tee hurries back to the door.
He chants, TOMO, TOMO, TOMO, TOMO, TOMO!
TOMO!
Tee opens the mail slot.
He says, TOMO!
He looks outside through the mail slot.
[Birds chirping]
A butterfly flies past the mail slot.
The narrator says, WELL, MAYBE HE WON'T BE HERE
QUITE THAT QUICKLY, TEE.
Tee looks sad.
[Tee sighing]
Mo looks through the window at the top of the door and frowns.
She says, OH. MMM...
Mo looks thoughtful.
[Mo gasping]
Mo smiles.
She says, OOH.
OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH, OOH.
The narrator says, MAYBE HE'LL BE HERE
WHEN YOU'VE GOT YOUR TOYS READY.
[Tee gasping]
Tee looks excited. He runs to the stairs. He pauses, and looks back at Mo.
Tee says, OOH-AH!
Mo follows Tee up the stairs. Tee slides into his bedroom and looks in his toy box.
He says, AHA!
Tee digs around in the box as Mo walks in the room.
[Rattling]
[Squeaking]
Tee pulls a pink and purple dinosaur out of the toy box.
He says, AHA!
Mo says, OOH-AH.
Tee tosses Mo the dinosaur.
[Squeaking]
Tee searches the toy box.
[Rattling]
Tee pulls out a toy tree.
He says, OOH-AH.
He tosses it to Mo.
Mo says, OH!
Tee pulls a fire truck out of the box.
He says, OOH-AH.
He throws it to Mo and continues searching the box.
Mo says, UH...
Tee pulls out a truck.
Tee says, OOH-AH.
He tosses it to Mo.
Mo says, AH…
Tee says, OOH-AH.
He throws Mo a horn.
Mo says, OOH!
Tee throws Mo a helicopter.
Tee says, OOH-AH.
Mo says, OOH!
Tee throws Mo a ball.
He says, OOH-AH.
Mo says, OOH!
Tee looks back at Mo, who carefully balances the toys in her arms.
Mo says, OOH! OOH!
The narrator says, WOW. THAT'S A LOT OF TOYS.
Tee nudges Mo out of the room.
[Mo grunting]
Tee nudges Mo into the living room.
Mo says, OOH. OOH.
[Mo grunting]
Mo drops the toys on the couch.
[Mo sighing]
The ball rolls off the couch.
[Mo and Tee giggling]
The narrator says, YOU CAN PLAY WITH YOUR TOYS
WHILE WAITING FOR TOMO.
[Tee gasping]
Tee yells, TOMO!
[Mo yelping]
Tee runs through the house. He runs into the door.
[Tee grunting]
Tee wobbles on his feet.
He squeals, TOMO!
He opens the mail slot.
Tee calls out, TOMO!
He looks out through the mail slot.
[Birds chirping]
[Buzzing]
A bee flies by the mail slot.
The narrator says, HE'S STILL NOT HERE YET.
YOU NEED TO WAIT
A LITTLE BIT LONGER.
[Tee sighing]
Tee slides down to the floor sadly. Mo walks over.
She says, OH, TEE.
OOH-AH, OOH-AH.
She walks away from the door.
Tee groans, HMPH.
The narrator says, THAT'S A GOOD IDEA, MO.
I'M SURE TOMO WILL BE HERE
ONCE YOU'VE FINISHED
MAKING LUNCH.
Tee reluctantly joins Mo at the table that is filled with sandwich ingredients.
[Tee sighing]
Mo puts a slice of bread on her and Tee’s plates.
She says, TEE?
The narrator says, THIS WILL HELP PASS THE TIME.
TEE AND MO
ARE A SANDWICH-MAKING TEAM!
Mo adds cheese to the sandwiches.
She says, OOH-AH.
Tee adds tomato slices to the sandwiches. Mo adds lettuce slices. Tee and Mo smile.
[Tee giggling]
Mo and Tee add more tomato and lettuce. Tee tops off the sandwiches with slices of bread.
[Tee and Mo laughing]
Tee yells, TOMO!
He jumps off his chair and pushes it past the table.
Mo says, HMM.
OH?
Tee pushes his chair to the door. He jumps onto the chair and looks through the mail slot.
Tee yells, TOMO!
[Echoing]
Tee looks around the yard. Mr. Og walks by the house.
[Narrator gasping]
The narrator asks, WHO'S THAT?
Mr. Og says, OINK-OINK, TEE!
He waves to Tee.
Tee sadly says, EH-OH, OG.
The narrator says, OH, IT'S STILL NOT TOMO.
[Tee sighing]
Mo joins Tee, who looks sad.
Mo says, OH, TEE.
The narrator says, I DON'T THINK
THERE'S ANYTHING YOU CAN DO
TO MAKE TOMO GET HERE
ANY SOONER.
Mo looks thoughtful.
[Mo gasping]
Mo says, OOH!
AH-OOH, AH-AH, TEE.
The narrator says, BUT YOU COULD MAKE
WAITING FOR HIM
A BIT MORE FUN.
[Cheerful music plays]
Mo runs back to the table and grabs the other chair. She puts the chair beside Tee’s at the door. Tee grabs an umbrella. Outside, Mo grabs a broom. She meets Tee inside at the door and spins the broom handle. Tee opens the umbrella and falls.
He says, WHOA!
The open umbrella rests on one chair, while the broom leans against the other. Tee collects his toys from the couch.
[Toy squeaking]
Tee carefully balances the toys in his arms.
He says, AH! AH!
He carries them to the door, and drops them by the chairs.
He says, OOH. OOF!
Tee sits on one of the chairs. Mo smiles. She pulls the curtains on either side of the door over the umbrella and broom, and around Tee, making a tent.
[Celebratory music plays]
Mo offers Tee a cardboard roll.
The narrator says, LOOK AT THAT!
TEE'S BUILT
A "WAITING FOR TOMO"
LOOKOUT DEN.
Tee looks through the mail slot using the cardboard roll.
[Birds chirping]
The narrator says, THIS SHOULD MAKE
WAITING FOR TOMO LOADS OF FUN.
Tee says, HMM.
He looks around the empty yard.
He says, HMM.
Tomo appears.
He says, SCA, SCOO, TEE!
[Tee gasping]
Tee pulls his cardboard tube out of the mail slot.
He cheers, TOMO!
He jumps out of his Lookout Den.
He cheers, TOMO, TOMO, TOMO,
TOMO, TOMO!
He follows Mo through the house.
The narrator says, HOORAY!
Tee walks over to the table. Between the sandwiches are tea cups on either side of a purple tea pot.
[Door opening]
The narrator says, TOMO'S HERE.
Tee cheers, TOMO!
Tomo cheers, TEE!
The friends jump up and down excitedly.
[Tee and Tomo laughing]
Mo and Heidi join the young friends as they hug.
The narrator says, WOW. AFTER ALL THAT TIME
SPENT WAITING,
WHAT ARE YOU
GOING TO DO FIRST?
[Tee and Tomo giggling]
Tee and Tomo leave the table with the sandwiches.
[Mo and Heidi laughing]
[Tee and Tomo giggling]
Tee and Tomo bring their sandwiches to the Lookout Den. They each jump onto a chair.
Tee grunts, HUP!
He hands Tomo the cardboard tube. Tomo looks out the mail slot with the tube.
[Tee and Tomo laughing]
The narrator says, IT SEEMS LIKE WAITING
CAN BE FUN AFTER ALL.
Tee pulls the curtain closed over the Lookout Den.
[Tee and Tomo laughing]
