The gate opens wider.

A canal boat floats through the open gate.

THE BOAT CAN'T CLIMB
UP HILLS LIKE WE CAN,
SO THE LOCK HELPS IT GET TO THE
HIGHER BIT OF THE CANAL
ON THE OTHER SIDE.
IT'S LIKE A LIFT FOR BOATS.
The canal boat passes through the gate. The gate closes slowly.
Eliza winds her arm and says, I'M CLOSING IT.
Ranger Hamza says, WE NEED
TO CATCH UP WITH THE BOAT.
COME ON, RAMBLERS.
(Music)

The bald man winds the crank beside the gate.

Eliza points up and says, YEAH.

Erin says, MERMAIDS?

THE BOAT'S WAY.
A bald man with grey hair and a beard winds a crank beside the gate over the canal.
Olly says, HE'S TRYING TO OPEN IT!
Ranger Hamza says, SHALL

The gate in the canal stops moving.
Ranger Hamza says, MAYBE WE ALL
NEED TO SAY THE MAGIC WORDS
AND IT'LL OPEN.
The Ramblers call, ABRA CADABRA!
MAKE THE DOOR OPEN!
The gate opens wider.
Olly says, IT'S OPENING!
Eliza says, IT'S OPENING!

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers jump up and down.
Ranger Hamza says,
OUR MAGIC WORDS
HAVE OPENED.
A canal boat floats through the open gate.
Ranger Hamza says,
THIS IS CALLED A LOCK.
THE BOAT CAN'T CLIMB
UP HILLS LIKE WE CAN,
SO THE LOCK HELPS IT GET TO THE
HIGHER BIT OF THE CANAL
ON THE OTHER SIDE.
IT'S LIKE A LIFT FOR BOATS.
The canal boat passes through the gate. The gate closes slowly.
Eliza winds her arm and says, I'M CLOSING IT.
Ranger Hamza says, WE NEED
TO CATCH UP WITH THE BOAT.
COME ON, RAMBLERS.
(Music)
Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers cross on a path to the other side of the gate.
Olly says, HAS IT COMED UP?
The bald man winds the crank beside the gate.
Ranger Hamza says,
LOOK, THE WATER FLOODS IN
AND LIFTS THE BOAT UP HIGHER.
IT'S IMPORTANT WE DON'T
GET TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGE,
SO WE'LL WATCH
FROM A SAFE PLACE.

WHO LIVES IN HERE?
An animated bird pokes its head out of the hole in the bird house.

The Ramblers run past red flowers and yellow flowers.
Erin says, THE FLOWERS ARE
SO MANY DIFFERENT COLOURS.
A garden spider makes a web on a yellow flower.
Erin says, KEEP GOING, SPIDER.
Ranger Hamza leads the Ramblers on a wooden walkway in the garden.
Olly says, A WATER HOUSE!

A small wooden house stands in the middle of a pond, surrounded by lily pads.

The Ramblers take steps on a row of short stumps.

Eliza walks on the stumps and hops off.

The Ramblers sit on a bench in the garden.
Olly says, YOU SIT HERE WITH ME.
Ranger Hamza sits down on the bench and says,

REMEMBER WHAT WE DID TODAY?
Footprints walk on an animated map beside a canal.
Ranger Hamza says, FIRST,
WE FOUND AN OCTOPUS
WITH LOTS OF ARMS.

OUT THE COLOURS ON A BOAT.

FOUND AN OLD FACTORY.
