The children point to a stadium.

Hamza narrates, WE'RE HALFWAY TO THE BRIDGE NOW, AND SO FAR WE'VE SPOTTED A GARDEN FULL OF FLOWERS... A NOISY GARAGE... AND BUILDING WITH ITS END KNOCKED DOWN, AND A FOOTBALL STADIUM. I WONDER WHAT ELSE WE'LL FIND ON OUR WALK. WILL WE SEE SOME MORE PURPLE THINGS?
A purple car is parked on a road.
Hamza asks, OOH, WHAT'S THAT?
The children say, CHINATOWN!
An ornamental Chinese-style gate is over a road.
Hamza says, YEAH! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BIG GATE.
Connor shouts, A BOAT, A BOAT, A BOAT!
Hamza says, THAT DOES LOOK LIKE A BOAT ON TOP. IT'S THE ROOF, LIKE THE ROOF OF A CHINESE PALACE.
Alexia says, DRAGON IN THE SEA.
Hamza says, DRAGON IN THE SEA?
Connor says, IT'S GOT ANIMALS AND MONSTERS ON IT.
Hamza narrates, THIS SAYS "CHINATOWN" IN CHINESE. SHALL WE HAVE A LOOK AT THE LION?
A stone lion is at the foot of the gate. The children touch the statue.
The children say, YES.
Connor shouts, LOOK, LOOK, LOOK! A SPIRAL! THEY WERE ALL LITTLE SPIRALS.
Hamza says, A SPIRAL GOES ROUND AND ROUND INTO THE MIDDLE. WHAT DO LIONS HAVE?
Connor says, MANES. IT'S KIND OF A SOMETHING TO PROTECT HIS NECK. WHOA, THIS PART'S BUMPY! HE'S WEARING A BELT?
Hamza says, IT'S A COLLAR. ALL THE WAY AROUND. HEY, RAMBLERS, SHALL WE ASK THE LION IF WE CAN GO INTO CHINATOWN?
The children say, PLEASE, CAN WE ENTER CHINATOWN?
Hamza says in a gruff voice, OH, YES, YOU MAY!
(Music playing)
Hamza says, AH, THAT WAS COOL. I LOVE THAT LION.
Hamza and the children walk.
Hamza narrates, CHINATOWN IS FULL OF COLOURFUL THINGS TO SEE. I LIKE THESE, WHAT A BRILLIANT SHAPE. THEY'RE HANGING.
Connor says, THEY'RE CALLED "LANTERNS."
Roshan says, LANTERNS!
Hamza says, IN THE OLDEN DAYS, THESE LANTERNS, THEY USED TO PUT CANDLES IN THEM, AND THEY USED TO LIGHT UP THE WHOLE STREET.

They all say, OPEN SESAME!
(Clanking)
An animated gate lifts.
Hamza narrates, HEY, THE GATE'S OPEN! WE'RE ALMOST AT THE END OF OUR WALK, BUT THERE'S STILL TIME FOR A GAME!
Hamza points to grass.
Hamza says, THE GRASS IS LAVA AND WE NEED TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE. CAN ANYONE SPOT A WAY?
Connor says, I CAN!
Hamza says, GO ON, WHICH WAY?
Connor says, THE STONES!
The children use stepping stones to walk over the grass.
Hamza says, ALRIGHT, MAKE SURE YOU'RE WOBBLY, SO PUT YOUR HANDS OUT! WOBBLE, 'CAUSE THE GRASS IS LAVA. ALRIGHT, OFF YOU GO, GIRLS. DON'T TOUCH THE GRASS! I DIDN'T TOUCH THE GRASS! WHOO, WOBBLING! I'M ABOUT TO FALL CAN YOU HELP ME OUT, PLEASE? HELP ME OUT, HELP ME OUT! COME ON!

(Grunting)

Hamza narrates, AND NOW WE CAN SEE THE BRIDGE, BUT BEFORE WE CROSS IT, DO YOU REMEMBER WE WERE PLAYING A SPOTTING GAME? I JUST SPOTTED PURPLE UP THERE.
Purple is on a construction site.
Hamza asks, HOW MANY OF THESE PURPLE THINGS DID YOU SPOT TODAY? DID YOU SPOT THESE ONES? A PURPLE FLOWER, A PURPLE CAR, A PURPLE T-SHIRT, AND A PURPLE BUILDING.
Hamza turns to the children.

A car is raised.
Alexia says, MAN PRESSED THE BUTTON AND THEN IT GOES UP.
Hamza says, THIS GARAGE IS LIKE A HOSPITAL FOR CARS. NOW, WHAT'S IT DOING?
The children say, IT'S GOING DOWN.
Hamza says, LET'S ALL GO DOWN NICE AND SLOW, NICE AND SLOW, ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM.
Hamza and the children crouch.
Hamza says, YEAH! LET'S PRETEND WE'RE MECHANICS, FIXING OURSELVES.
(Imitating drilling, whirring)
Hamza asks, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO FIX?
Roshan says, MY HEAD.
Hamza says, GO ON THEN, FIX YOUR HEAD.
(Imitating drilling, whirring)
Hamza narrates, NOW WE'RE ALL FIXED, AND WE'RE GOOD TO GO.
Hamza and the children pretend to drive away.

Roshan says, A WOLF.
Hamza says, WHAT DID THE WOLF DO?
Roshan says, HE BLOWS THE HOUSE DOWN.

Hamza says, AND THEY SQUISH TOGETHER, AND THEY BECAME ONE--

Connor narrates, THE CRANE IS LIKE A GIANT ROBOT.
Hamza narrates, WHAT KIND OF BUILDING HAVE THE RAMBLERS FOUND NOW?
The children point to a stadium.
Alexia says, OH, THAT'S A FOOTBALL THING.
Hamza says, OH?
Connor says, A FOOTBALL STADIUM!

Hamza says, A STADIUM FOR PLAYING FOOTBALL. IT'S FULL OF DIFFERENT SHAPES. HOW MANY SHAPES CAN YOU SEE?
Connor says, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, CIRCLE.
Animated lines outline different shapes.
Hamza says, I CAN SEE TRIANGLES AND A RECTANGLE, BUT CAN YOU SEE CIRCLES ANYWHERE HERE? WHERE ARE THE CIRCLES? OOH, AT THE END! WELL SPOTTED, CONNOR. CAN YOU GUYS SEE THESE BOLLARDS?
The children say, YEAH.
Hamza says, YEAH, THEY'RE LIKE ROBOTS, I THINK.
Roshan says, WE CAN BE ROBOTS, TOO.
Hamza and the children walk like robots.

Hamza narrates, WE'RE HALFWAY TO THE BRIDGE NOW, AND SO FAR WE'VE SPOTTED A GARDEN FULL OF FLOWERS... A NOISY GARAGE... AND BUILDING WITH ITS END KNOCKED DOWN, AND A FOOTBALL STADIUM. I WONDER WHAT ELSE WE'LL FIND ON OUR WALK. WILL WE SEE SOME MORE PURPLE THINGS?
A purple car is parked on a road.
Hamza asks, OOH, WHAT'S THAT?
The children say, CHINATOWN!
An ornamental Chinese-style gate is over a road.
Hamza says, YEAH! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BIG GATE.
Connor shouts, A BOAT, A BOAT, A BOAT!
Hamza says, THAT DOES LOOK LIKE A BOAT ON TOP. IT'S THE ROOF, LIKE THE ROOF OF A CHINESE PALACE.
Alexia says, DRAGON IN THE SEA.
Hamza says, DRAGON IN THE SEA?
Connor says, IT'S GOT ANIMALS AND MONSTERS ON IT.
Hamza narrates, THIS SAYS "CHINATOWN" IN CHINESE. SHALL WE HAVE A LOOK AT THE LION?
A stone lion is at the foot of the gate. The children touch the statue.
The children say, YES.
Connor shouts, LOOK, LOOK, LOOK! A SPIRAL! THEY WERE ALL LITTLE SPIRALS.
Hamza says, A SPIRAL GOES ROUND AND ROUND INTO THE MIDDLE. WHAT DO LIONS HAVE?
Connor says, MANES. IT'S KIND OF A SOMETHING TO PROTECT HIS NECK. WHOA, THIS PART'S BUMPY! HE'S WEARING A BELT?
Hamza says, IT'S A COLLAR. ALL THE WAY AROUND. HEY, RAMBLERS, SHALL WE ASK THE LION IF WE CAN GO INTO CHINATOWN?
The children say, PLEASE, CAN WE ENTER CHINATOWN?
Hamza says in a gruff voice, OH, YES, YOU MAY!
(Music playing)
Hamza says, AH, THAT WAS COOL. I LOVE THAT LION.
Hamza and the children walk.
Hamza narrates, CHINATOWN IS FULL OF COLOURFUL THINGS TO SEE. I LIKE THESE, WHAT A BRILLIANT SHAPE. THEY'RE HANGING.
Connor says, THEY'RE CALLED "LANTERNS."
Roshan says, LANTERNS!
Hamza says, IN THE OLDEN DAYS, THESE LANTERNS, THEY USED TO PUT CANDLES IN THEM, AND THEY USED TO LIGHT UP THE WHOLE STREET.

Hamza narrates, TODAY, WE'VE SEEN NEW BUILDINGS AND CRUMBLY OLD ONES THAT HAVE FALLEN DOWN, BUT HOW ABOUT THIS ONE? A BIG STRONG OLD WALL THAT'S STILL STANDING. IN THE OLDEN DAYS, THIS CITY WALL KEPT EVERYBODY SAFE INSIDE. I WONDER WHAT THIS WALL PROTECTED THE PEOPLE FROM. MONSTERS? DRAGONS?
(Shivering)
The children walk by a castle wall.
A child says, YAY!
Hamza says, WOW, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. OH, LOOK AT ALL THE STONE.
They look through a barred gate.
Hamza asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK LIVED INSIDE HERE?
Alexia says, SOME BAD GUYS.
Hamza says, SOME BAD GUYS? WHAT'S IT CALLED?
Connor says, A JAIL.
Hamza says, A JAIL.
Alexia says, I THINK THIS IS A JAIL, AND YOU HAVE SOME BAD GUYS IN.
Hamza asks, SO, THE BAD GUYS ARE IN THERE? IS THERE ANOTHER ROOM UPSTAIRS? WHO DO YOU THINK LIVED IN THERE?
Connor says, THE KING.
Alexia says, OR MAYBE A PRINCESS.
Hamza says, OR MAYBE A PRINCESS! SO, IF WE WERE BACK IN THE OLDEN DAYS, CONNOR, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?
Connor says, I WANT TO BE A BAD GUY.
Hamza says, YEAH, AND WHAT ABOUT YOU, ROSHAN?
Roshan says, I WANT TO BE A PRINCESS.
Hamza says, ALRIGHT, AND ALEXIA?
Alexia says, I WANT TO BE A QUEEN.

Hamza asks, WHAT'S THIS ON THE GROUND NEXT TO US?
Connor says, IF YOU ACTUALLY PRESSED IT, THE JAIL MIGHT OPEN.
Hamza says, OOH, I LIKE YOUR IDEA. SO, WHY DON'T WE ALL PRESS ON ONE AND SEE IF THE JAIL GATE HOUSE OPENS. ONE, TWO, THREE, GO!
They all say, OPEN SESAME!
(Clanking)
An animated gate lifts.
Hamza narrates, HEY, THE GATE'S OPEN! WE'RE ALMOST AT THE END OF OUR WALK, BUT THERE'S STILL TIME FOR A GAME!
Hamza points to grass.
Hamza says, THE GRASS IS LAVA AND WE NEED TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE. CAN ANYONE SPOT A WAY?
Connor says, I CAN!
Hamza says, GO ON, WHICH WAY?
Connor says, THE STONES!
The children use stepping stones to walk over the grass.
Hamza says, ALRIGHT, MAKE SURE YOU'RE WOBBLY, SO PUT YOUR HANDS OUT! WOBBLE, 'CAUSE THE GRASS IS LAVA. ALRIGHT, OFF YOU GO, GIRLS. DON'T TOUCH THE GRASS! I DIDN'T TOUCH THE GRASS! WHOO, WOBBLING! I'M ABOUT TO FALL CAN YOU HELP ME OUT, PLEASE? HELP ME OUT, HELP ME OUT! COME ON!
(Grunting)
Hamza jumps onto pavement.
(Laughing)

The children sit by the castle wall.
Hamza asks, AH, WHAT A LOVELY ADVENTURE THAT WAS, WASN'T IT? CAN ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT WE DID TODAY?
The map appears.
Hamza narrates, FIRST, WE SAW A GARDEN FULL OF COLOURFUL FLOWERS.
Alexia cries, YELLOW FLOWERS!
Roshan says, THERE'S PINK.
Connor says, PURPLE FLOWER.
Hamza narrates, THEN WE HEARD A NOISY GARAGE FIXING CARS.
(Drilling)
(Connor making drilling sound)
Hamza narrates, WE BLEW DOWN A CRUMBLY OLD BUILDING.
(All blowing)
Hamza narrates, AND POINTED OUT SHAPES ON A FOOTBALL STADIUM.
Connor says, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE!
Hamza says, THEN WE MET A LION GUARDING A BEAUTIFUL BIG GATE.
The children say, PLEASE, CAN WE ENTER CHINATOWN?
Hamza narrates, WE OPENED THE OLD JAIL.
All say, OPEN SESAME!
(Clanking)
Hamza says, AND FINALLY, WE CROSSED THE HOT LAVA.
(Grunting)
Hamza says, WE MADE IT!
Footprints move over the map.
Hamza narrates, AND NOW WE CAN SEE THE BRIDGE, BUT BEFORE WE CROSS IT, DO YOU REMEMBER WE WERE PLAYING A SPOTTING GAME? I JUST SPOTTED PURPLE UP THERE.
Purple is on a construction site.
Hamza asks, HOW MANY OF THESE PURPLE THINGS DID YOU SPOT TODAY? DID YOU SPOT THESE ONES? A PURPLE FLOWER, A PURPLE CAR, A PURPLE T-SHIRT, AND A PURPLE BUILDING.
Hamza turns to the children.
Hamza asks, YOU GUYS WANT TO PLAY A GAME?
The children say, YEAH!
Hamza says, BILLY GOAT GRUFF.
The children shout, YEAH!
Hamza says, WELL, I HOPE YOU ENJOYED OUR WALK TODAY, WE CERTAINLY DID. NEXT TIME YOU GO FOR A WALK, WHY DON'T YOU KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN AND YOU CAN HAVE AN ADVENTURE, TOO.
Hamza and the children wave.
