WASHED UP ON THE BEACH.
WOOD THAT YOU FIND WASHED
UP ON SHORE IS CALLED DRIFTWOOD.
I'VE TURNED THIS ONE INTO A BOAT.
He holds up a piece of driftwood with a small yellow sail attached to it.
[Birds chirp]
Ranger Hamza asks, WHAT DO
YOU THINK?
TODAY I'M MEETING THE RAMBLERS
AND WALKING TO A BOATING POND.
WHEN WE GET THERE, WE'RE
GOING TO SAIL OUR BOATS.

The Ramblers and Ranger Hamza flap their arms.

Animated fire shoots from the dragon’s nostrils.

Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers walk down a grassy hill towards a beach.
Elijah says, LOOK AT THIS VIEW.
A Rambler says, THE SEA LOOKS TOO
CHILLY FOR SWIMMING TODAY.
BUT NOT FOR THIS DOG, HE'S
SWIMMING LIKE A DOLPHIN.

Zachariah says, LOOK AT THAT,

A long bridge over water has a gap in the middle.
Ranger Hamza asks, WHAT IS IT?
Dexter says, IT'S A BRIDGE.
Ranger Hamza says, SO WHY IS THERE A
GAP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BRIDGE?
Zachariah suggests, THE OTHER PIECE
MIGHT HAVE FELL INTO THE WATER.
Ranger Hamza explains, IT'S ACTUALLY
A SLIDING BRIDGE SO WHAT HAPPENS
IS THAT SIDE COMES ALONG AND
MEETS IN THE MIDDLE TO ALLOW THE
PEOPLE TO WALK ACROSS, BUT WHEN
A BIG SHIP COMES THROUGH AND
WANTS TO GO INTO THE HARBOUR,
IT SLIDES BACK OUT AGAIN.
Dexter says, WHAT HAPPENS
IF PEOPLE ARE ON IT THOUGH.
WHEN PEOPLE COME THROUGH,
WILL THE BOAT HAVE TO WAIT?
Ranger Hamza says, WELL YEAH,
THEY'LL GET THE PEOPLE TO WAIT

IT BACK UP AGAIN AND THEN

An animated boat sails through the gap.
[Bell rings, rumbling]
Elijah and Dexter face each other and hold hands. Zachariah walks towards them.
Ranger Hamza says, RAMBLER
BRIDGE CLOSED.
Zachariah says, PLEASE
CAN I COME THROUGH?
Dexter and Elijah back away from each other.
Ranger Hamza says, RAMBLER
BRIDGE OPEN.
Ranger Hamza says, LOVELY AND

UNDER THE BRIDGE GOES ALL THE

AND THE RIVER GOES ALL

MOUTH OF THE RIVER.

TO A CANOE BUT IT'S ACTUALLY
CALLED A ROWING BOAT. PEOPLE
WOULD ROW IT USING OARS.
Ranger Hamza asks, HOW

As the Ramblers count, bright numbers appear over each seat: a red one, orange two, yellow three, lime green four, green five, blue six, purple seven and bright purple eight.

STICK IS CALLED A JIB CRANE.
IT'S USED TO LIFT HEAVY
ITEMS ON AND OFF THE BOAT.
AND DEXTER'S HAD AN IDEA
TO PLAY A LITTLE GAME.
HE'S GOING TO BE THE
CAPTAIN OF THIS SHIP.
Dexter says, ATTENTION ON DECK!

BRIDGE WITH THE MIDDLE

A pale blue house has two round windows.

The Ramblers say, YEAH!

WHAT, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DRAW
ON YOURS?
Dexter says, A MONSTER.

Everyone pushes their boats out on the water.
