Transcript: Pancake Pals
Posy, a brown mouse wearing a red shirt with blue sleeves, smiles.
She shouts, PIP!
Pip, a grey rabbit wearing a green and white striped shirt, smiles back at Posy.
He shouts, POSY!
(Giggling)
Pip and Posy run to each other. They hold each other’s hands and dance in a circle.
Later, Pip gives Posy a piggyback ride. Posy tosses her stuffed frog toy into the air. It hands gently in her hands. Pip catches a stuffed pig toy.
Posy shouts, COME ON!
Pip and Posy say, LET'S PLAY!
They giggle while they run.
The title reads, “Pip and Posy”.
A brown snail slowly crawls up Posy’s front door. Pip runs to her house and knocks on the door.
He says,
POSY-CAKES!
POSY-POSY PANCAKES!
POSY-POSY PANCAKES!
The snail slides down the door. Posy walks outside holding a plate full of pancakes.
She says, TAH-DAH!
Pip replies,
WHOA!
YOU MADE LOTS!
Posy smiles.
She says,
WELL, THIS TOP ON IS FOR YOU
AND THE REST ARE FOR ME.
Pip replies,
NAUGHTY HOG MONSTER!
He follows Posy inside.
Inside, Posy sits at the kitchen table while Pip washes his hands.
Posy asks,
WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITEST THING
TO PUT ON A PANCAKE?
Pip answers, HMM... CARROTS!
He sits down beside Posy.
She says,
IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY!
Pip scoops yogurt onto his pancake.
He says,
YOGURT FIRST.
BLOOP.
Posy replies,
OH, THEY ALL LOOK SO YUMMY!
BLOOP.
(Giggling)
Posy places grapes on her pancake
Pip says, THEY LOOK LIKE EYES.
Posy replies,
OH YEAH!
I'LL MAKE A FACE!
Pip says, ME TOO.
His pancake has yogurt eyes.
(Giggling)
Pip holds two blueberries over his eyes.
He says, I CAN SEE YOU!
(Laughing)
Pip says, PIP AND POSY CAKES.
Posy replies,
PIP, I'LL MAKE YOUR FACE ON
MY PANCAKE!
IT'S A PIP-CAKE!
AND YOURS IS A POSY-CAKE!
Pip replies,
YEAH!
MY POSY-CAKE IS GOING TO LOOK
EXACTLY LIKE YOU.
(Giggling)
Posy places half a peach on her pancake.
She says,
YOUR NOSE.
OH!
Posy walks over to Pip.
He says,
HMM, WHICH NOSY FOR POSY?
(Laughing)
Pip picks up a strawberry and places it on his pancake.
He says,
THIS ONE!
HMM, UH...
PERFECT!
Posy sprinkles raisins on her pancake. A few roll off.
Posy says, AH, WHOOPSIE.
She eats the raisins on the table.
Pip places a bendy carrot on his pancake.
He says,
HMM.
AH!
SMILEY POSY.
NOW EARS.
Posy looks around the table.
She says, UM...
Posy eats a strawberry.
Pip says,
STOP EATING EVERYTHING.
Posy replies,
STRAWBERRIES HELP ME THINK
YUMMY THOUGHTS.
I KNOW WHAT I NEED!
MARSHMALLOWS!
Posy pulls a bowl of marshmallows out of a cupboard.
Pip asks,
OH, WHAT ARE THEY FOR?
Posy answers,
PIP'S MEGA TEETH.
She places two marshmallows on the raisin mouth on her pancake.
Pip replies,
WHAT?
THEY'RE NOT THAT MEGA.
Posy says, PIP!
Pip compares his teeth to the marshmallows.
He says, LOOK, MINI MEGA.
(Giggling)
Pip bites the teeth in half and puts them back on Posy’s pancake.
He says, THERE, HMM.
(Bottle squelching)
Pip pours honey onto his pancake in the shape of Posy’s whiskers.
He says, AHH.
(Giggling)
Pip hands Posy the honey bottle. She laughs.
Pip says, DO MY WHISKERS.
(Laughing)
(Bottle squelching)
Posy draws whiskers onto her pancake with the honey.
She asks,
HMM, WHAT ELSE?
OH!
Posy runs to the fridge. Pip looks at Posy’s pancake.
He says,
OH.
UH, THERE'S A LOT ON MY FACE
ALREADY.
Posy replies, NO EYEBROWS YET!
(Giggling)
Posy holds up a jar of jam. She paints a long jam eyebrow onto her pancake with a spoon.
Pip says,
THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MY
EYEBROWS AT ALL.
Posy replies,
YES IT DOES!
BOTH FROWNING!
Pip says, NO, IT'S LIKE THIS.
He spills jam onto Posy’s pancake.
She says, STOP CHANGING IT!
Pip replies, SORRY.
He sits back down.
Posy says,
IT'S OKAY, YOU CAN HAVE
CHEESY EYELASHES!
Pip replies, CHEESE?
Posy says, MM-HM.
(Posy humming)
Pip sprinkles raisins onto his pancake. Posy arranges sliced oranges on hers.
Pip says,
POSY, NOT ORANGES!
MY EARS ARE LONG.
HERE, USE BANANAS.
Posy replies, NO, I LIKE ORANGES.
Pip places bananas on Posy’s pancake.
He says,
NO, LOOK!
THEY'RE PERFECT!
Posy replies,
I DON'T WANT BANANAS, I WANT
ORANGES!
Pip takes away Posy’s plate.
He says, YOU DON'T NEED THEM.
Pip eats the oranges.
Posy replies,
YES I DO!
PIP!
AW...
WHY DID YOU DO THAT?
(Huffing)
Posy runs away from Pip and sits in the living room. Pip looks at the empty plate.
He says, POSY.
(Sighing)
Posy looks up at Pip. He rearranges his pancake to have a sad face.
Pip says,
AWW.
POSY, I CAN FIX IT.
UH, I'LL GET YOU ANOTHER ORANGE.
UH... HMM.
WHERE'S THE ORANGES?
Pip searches Posy’s cupboards.
Posy answers,
YOU ATE THE LAST ONE.
Pip says,
OH...
OOH.
LOOK!
EARS, GOOD AS NEW!
Pip pulls two lemon halves out of the fridge.
(Sighing)
Posy walks back into the kitchen.
She says, LEMONS ARE TOO SOUR.
Pip replies,
THEY'RE LIKE YUMMY YELLOW
ORANGES!
UGH…
Pip licks a lemon.
(Giggling)
Posy says, TOLD YOU.
Pip smiles.
He asks,
TOLD ME WHAT?
UGH, BLECH!
Pip licks the lemon again. He makes a face.
(Giggling)
Posy answers,
YOUR MOUTH IS ALL WONKY AND
WIGGLY!
(Laughing)
Pip says,
WELL, MAYBE YOUR PIP-CAKE
NEEDS A WONKY WIGGLY MOUTH THEN.
Posy replies, OH, YES!
(Giggling)
Posy moves the marshmallows and raisins on her pancake.
She says, WONKY WIGGLE-ICIOUS!
Pip says,
WATCH THIS
UGH…
He licks the lemon again and makes a sour face.
(Moaning)
(Posy laughing)
(Exaggerated groaning)
Posy rearranges the grape eyes on her pancake. Pip takes another lick.
Posy says, YOUR NOSE IS ALL JAMMY!
Pip’s nose is covered in jam.
He says,
OH, OH YEAH!
I NEED A RED NOSE.
Posy replies, HMM.
Pip picks the strawberry off his pancake and gives it to Posy.
He says, HERE.
Posy places the strawberry on her pancake.
She says,
THANKS, PIP.
PERFECT.
(Giggling)
Posy says,
BUT NOW YOUR POSY-CAKE IS A NO
NOSY-CAKE!
Pip replies,
HMM.
AH!
TAH-DAH!
Pip places a banana on his pancake.
Posy says,
THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MY
NOSE!
Pip places a banana on Posy’s nose.
He replies, NOW IT DOES!
(Laughing)
Pip turns the carrot frown upside down on his pancake.
He says, THERE.
(Giggling)
Pip and Posy sit down together. They look at their pancakes.
Pip says,
OH...
OUR FACES LOOK SO GOOD.
Posy adds, GOOD ENOUGH TO...
Pip and Posy say, EAT!
(Chomping, gulping)
Pip and Posy eat their pancakes.
Pip says, YOUR NOSE IS YUMMY!
Posy replies,
SO ARE YOUR CHEESY EYELASHES.
(Laughing)
