Pip and Posy run to each other. They hold each other’s hands and dance in a circle.

Later, Pip gives Posy a piggyback ride. Posy tosses her stuffed frog toy into the air. It hands gently in her hands. Pip catches a stuffed pig toy.

Posy shouts, COME ON!

Pip and Posy say, LET'S PLAY!

They giggle while they run.

The title reads, “Pip and Posy”.

Pip and Posy run through a park

Pip says,
ROLY-POLY TIME!
I'M GONNA DO LOADS MORE THAN
YOU!

Posy does a spin.

She replies,
YOU WON'T BEAT ROLY-POLY
POSY!
LAST ONE TO THE HILL IS A
STINKY SNAIL!

A snail on a bench frowns.

Posy says,
THIS STINKY SNAIL NEEDS WATER
FIRST.

She lifts up her water bottle.

Pip says,
SORRY, CAN'T WAIT!
GOT TO BEAT MY RECORD OF EIGHT!

(Laughing)

Pip runs down a path.

(Humming)

Posy fills her water bottle at a fountain.

Frankie, a brown and tan cat wearing denim overalls, walks into the park carrying a bucket.

Frankie says,
HEY, YOU'RE HERE ALREADY!
LET'S GO!

Posy asks, GO WHERE?

Frankie answers,
SAND PIT, OF COURSE.

Posy replies, WHAT?

Frankie holds up a toy boat.

She says,
YOUR ZIGGY-ZAGGY BOAT SLIDE!

Posy replies,
YEAH, THE ZIGGY-ZAGGY BOAT
SLIDE, THAT WAS TODAY!

Frankie hugs Posy.

Frankie adds,
IT'S A FRANKIE-POSY DAY!
RIGHT, WATER FIRST.

(Humming)

Frankie empties colourful flags out of her bucket and fills it with water.

She says,
GO AHEAD IF YOU WANT, I'LL CATCH
UP.

Posy replies, OKAY!

She runs down the path toward Pip.

Frankie says,
WRONG WAY, SILLY HEAD.

Posy turns around.

She replies, OOPS, OH YEAH!

(Humming)

While Frankie fills her bucket, Posy walks on the path toward Pip.

(Panting)

Pip does jumping jacks on top of a hill. Posy runs to him and waves.

She says, I'M HERE!

Pip says,
WATCH THIS.
WHEE!
ROLY-POLY!

Pip rolls down the hill.

(Giggling)

Pip gets up.

He says, FOUR, BEAT THAT!

Posy runs up the hill.

She says,
OKAY.
ONE, TWO, THREE.

Posy rolls down the hill and gets up.

Pip says,
YEAH!
WINNER OF ROUND ONE!

Posy asks,
THERE ARE MORE ROUNDS?

Pip replies, OF COURSE.

Posy says,
BUT I REALLY NEED, UM...
WATER!

Posy points to her water bottle.

Pip asks, AGAIN?

Posy says, WON'T BE LONG!

Pip replies, OKAY.

Posy runs away from Pip. Pip stretches on the hill.

Posy runs past the water fountain.

She says, COMING, FRANKIE.

Frankie digs a hole in the sandbox.

She asks, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Posy answers, UH, LOOKING FOR YOU.

Frankie says,
OH, OKAY, LET'S DIG.
SO WE MAKE A REALLY BIG HILL,
YEAH?

Posy helps Frankie dig the hole.

Posy replies,
YEAH, THEN WE DIG THE
ZIGGY-ZAGGY BIT FOR THE BOAT
TO GO DOWN.

(Giggling)

Posy pats down a small sand hill.

She says, READY!

Frankie replies,
NO, IT NEEDS TO BE WAY
BIGGER.

Posy picks up her water bottle.

She says,
OH.
PHEW-EE, IT'S SO HOT!
I NEED MORE WATER.

Frankie replies,
OH, OKAY, SEE YOU SOON!

Posy runs away from Frankie. She hurries down the path.

Posy shouts, ON MY WAY, PIP!

(Laughing)

Pip rolls down the hill.

He says,
GUESS WHAT?
I DID SIX THIS TIME.
BEAT THAT.

Posy tosses her water bottle on the grass and runs up the hill.

She says,
OKAY.
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE,
SIX.
AHH.

Pip says, POSY, THAT WASN'T SIX!

Posy fans herself.

She says,
PHEW, SO HOT!
I NEED SOME MORE WATER.

Pip replies,
BUT YOU ONLY JUST GOT SOME.

Posy adds,
YEAH, PHEW, ROLY-POLIES ARE
REALLY HARD WORK.

Pip says,
HURRY, THEN!
HMM.

(Panting)

Posy runs away from Pip.

At the sandbox, Frankie sticks the colourful flags into her sand hill.

Posy says,
SORRY, FRANKIE, I--

Frankie stands up and points to the sand hill.

She shouts,
TAH-DAH!
SORRY, I DID IT ALL.

Posy replies,
OH, GREAT!
LET'S LAUNCH THE BOAT.

She picks up the toy boat.

Frankie says,
NO, NO, FLAGS FIRST.
WHERE SHOULD I PUT YOU?

Posy quickly sticks flags into the sand hill.

She says,
HOW ABOUT HERE, HERE, HERE,
THERE, AND THERE?
DONE!

Frankie asks,
HMM, HOW ABOUT A PINECONE FOR
THE STARTING LINE?

(Sighing)

Posy replies, I'LL FIND ONE!

She runs away from Frankie.

Frankie says, OH.

She sticks more flags into the sand hill. Posy runs away from her.

(Giggling)

Pip rolls down the hill. Posy runs to him.

(Panting)

Posy rolls down the hill.

Pip says,
HEY, POSY!
HEY!

(Panting)

Posy runs away from Pip.

(Panting)

Posy carries a pine cone while she runs back to Frankie. She places the pine cone on top of the sand hill and turns around. She runs back to Pip on the hill.

Posy breathes deeply.

She says, YOUR GO!

Pip rolls down the hill.

He counts.ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE,
SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE!
RECORD!
POSY?
POSY?

Pip reaches the bottom of the hill. Posy is gone.

Pip walks through the park.

In the sandbox, Frankie holds her bucket. Pip walks over to her

Frankie says, PIP!

Pip replies, FRANKIE!

Frankie says, WATCH THIS!

She places her toy boat on top of the sand hill. It floats down a narrow canal filled with water.

Pip says,
OH, WOW.
WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHEEE!
BRILLIANT, FRANKIE!

The toy boat reaches the bottom of the sand hill.

Frankie replies,
THANKS, ME AND POSY MADE IT.
WELL, MOSTLY ME.

Pip says,
POSY, SHE WAS PLAYING
ROLY-POLIES WITH ME.

Frankie says,
NO, SHE WAS MAKING THIS WITH
ME.

Pip and Frankie say, HUH?

Frankie adds,
SHE WAS PLAYING WITH BOTH OF
US!

Pip replies,
OH, THAT'S WHY SHE WAS ALWAYS
RUNNING OFF AND PUFFED OUT.

(Laughing)

Frankie asks,
PIP, POSY LIKES JOKES,
DOESN'T SHE?

Pip answers, DEFINITELY.

(Gulping)

Posy fills her water bottle at the fountain. She drinks the water and fills the water bottle again. Pip walks over to her.

He says, THERE YOU ARE!

Posy replies, PIP!

Pip says,
I'M BORED OF ROLY-POLIES.
LET'S GO TO THE SAND PIT.

Posy says,
OH, NO, NO, NO!
NOT THE SAND PIT!

She grabs Pip.

He asks, WHY NOT?

Posy replies,
UM, BECAUSE...
BECAUSE, UM…

Frankie walks over to Pip and Posy.

Frankie says, HI, POSY.

Posy replies, FRANKIE!

(Groaning nervously)

(Laughing)

Posy points to Pip and Frankie.

Posy says, YOU KNOW!

Frankie replies, YEP!

Posy adds,
I'M SORRY, I PROMISED TO PLAY
WITH YOU AND YOU.
I WANTED YOU BOTH TO HAVE FUN.

Frankie replies,
AWWW.
DIDN'T LOOK LIKE YOU HAD TOO
MUCH FUN.

Posy says, IT WAS HORRIBLE!

(Laughing)

Posy asks,
CAN WE PLAY SOMETHING ALL
TOGETHER NOW?

Frankie answers, YES!

Pip replies, OF COURSE!

Posy looks at Frankie’s flags in her bucket.

She says,
I KNOW WHAT WE CAN PLAY!
ZIGGY-ZAGGY ROLY-POLIES!
GO!
ZIGGY-ZAG ONE, ZIGGY-ZAG TWO...

(Laughing)

Posy and Frankie zigzag around the flags while they roll down the hill. Posy stops.

Pip says, HUH?

(Groaning)

Posy gets up.

She says,
DRANK TOO MUCH WATER.
BACK SOON!

(Laughing)

Posy runs away from Pip and Frankie.

Pip shouts,
RUN, ROLY-POLY POSY, RUN!

(Giggling)
