She shouts, PIP!
Pip, a grey rabbit wearing a green and white striped shirt, smiles back at Posy.
He shouts, POSY!
(Giggling)
Pip and Posy run to each other. They hold each other’s hands and dance in a circle.
Later, Pip gives Posy a piggyback ride. Posy tosses her stuffed frog toy into the air. It hands gently in her hands. Pip catches a stuffed pig toy.
Posy shouts, COME ON!
Pip and Posy say, LET'S PLAY!
They giggle while they run.
The title reads, “Pip and Posy”.
(Giggling)
Pip, Posy, Frankie, Zac, and Jamila sit on a picnic blanket under a shady tree. They all wear pointy hats.
Frankie, the brown cat, says,
LET THE WIZARDS' PICNIC
BEGIN.
(Giggling)
Everyone opens their food and drink containers.
Posy says,
ONE GULP OF MY MAGIC FRUIT
JUICE AND YOU START TO SING.
Pip adds,
AND I BROUGHT WIZARD WIGGLY
BUM SANDWICHES.
(Giggling)
(Singing)
(Everyone laughing)
Jamila, the red squirrel, says,
MY FRUIT CAN MAGICALLY
TRANSFORM YOU INTO ANY ANIMAL.
CAREFUL.
THAT ONE'S A SHARK.
(Giggling)
Posy asks,
WHAT DID YOU BRING, WIZARD
ZAC?
Zac, a white and brown dog, replies,
WERE WE MEANT TO BRING FOOD?
Frankie says,
DON'T WORRY.
I BROUGHT LOTS.
TA-DA!
MAGIC SPRINKLE CAKES.
Frankie opens her container filled with chocolate cupcakes.
(Oohing and ahhing)
Posy says,
MMM.
(Smacking lips)
Zac licks his lips.
(Gasping)
Frankie says,
I FORGOT THE MAGIC SPRINKLES.
I'LL QUICKLY GET THEM.
Everyone replies, AW.
Frankie adds,
MY CAKES WON'T BE MAGIC
WITHOUT THEM.
WON'T BE LONG.
DON'T START WITHOUT ME.
Frankie lays her cupcakes on the blanket and runs down the path. She kicks a soccer ball.
A butterfly flies past Jamila.
She says, OOH.
(Crow cawing)
A crow lands on the picnic blanket. Jamila picks up a strawberry and shuts her container. The crow flies away.
Jamila says,
MMM.
YUMMY.
MAGIC STRAWBERRY, MAKE ME A
FLUTTERBY.
TLING-TLING.
TLING-TLING-TLING.
Jamila stands up and flaps her arms.
(Everyone laughing)
Jamila says, TLING-TLING-TLING.
Posy says,
LET'S HAVE A SNEAKY PEEK.
She opens Frankie’s cupcake container.
Pip says,
WHOA.
LIKE PUFFY CHOCOLATE CLOUDS.
(Sniffing)
Pip leans down and sniffs the cupcakes. Chocolate icing covers his nose.
Posy says, HA!
She points at the chocolate.
Pip says, HMM.
He wipes away the chocolate and eats it.
(Giggling)
Zac says,
HEY.
NOT FAIR.
Posy adds, I WANT SOME, TOO.
Posy and Zac lick icing off the cupcakes.
They say, MMM.
Pip looks in the container.
He says,
THEY'RE ALL BUMPY NOW.
MMM.
Pip tastes icing off another cupcake.
Zac says, OI!
Posy adds,
NOW WE NEED ANOTHER LICK.
Posy and Zac eat more icing.
They say, MMM.
Pip, Posy, and Zac look down at the cupcakes.
Posy says,
OH, LET'S JUST EAT THEM.
THAT ONE WAS MINE.
Posy and Zac each take a cupcake out of the container.
Zac replies, OKAY.
Posy says, YUM.
Pip takes out a cupcake.
He says, MAYBE JUST THE MESSY ONES.
Pip eats his cupcake.
He says, MMM.
Posy looks at her cupcake.
She says,
I KNOW WHAT MAKES THEM MAGIC.
YOU CAN'T STOP EATING THEM.
MMM.
Zac says, MMM.
Pip, Posy, and Zac continue to eat the cupcakes.
(Gasping)
Pip looks in the container.
He says, THERE'S ONLY TWO LEFT.
Posy replies, OH.
(Gasping)
Frankie runs back on the path.
Zac says, OH.
Frankie sings,
MAGIC SPRINKLY, MAGIC
Pip says, FRANKIE IS COMING.
Zac replies, UH-OH.
He runs away from Pip and Posy.
Pip says, UH--
Posy adds,
OH.
SHE'S GOING TO BE SO CROSS.
Pip replies,
WELL, JUST TELL HER THEY WERE
TOO YUMMY TO STOP.
Posy says,
NO.
YOU ONLY HAD ONE.
I HAD LOTS.
OH, NO, NO.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Pip says,
UH, HIDE IT?
UH--
He puts the top back on the container and looks for a hiding place. Pip tries to push the container through the knot in a tree.
He says, UM--
Posy runs behind a bush.
She says, OVER HERE.
Pip hands Posy the container.
Frankie sings,
MAGIC SPRINKLE SPRINKLY MAGIC
MAGIC, MAGIC LA-LA-LA LA-LA
She returns to the picnic blanket.
Pip whispers, QUICK.
Posy runs back to Pip.
Frankie says,
I'VE GOT MAGIC SPRINKLES FOR
MY--
WHERE'S MY CAKES?
Pip asks, WHAT CAKES?
Frankie answers,
THE CAKES I BROUGHT TO THE
WIZARDS' PICNIC.
Posy says,
UH, A BALL WENT "CRASH" INTO
THE TIN, AND IT ROLLED AWAY.
Frankie replies,
OH, NO.
LET'S FIND IT.
She runs to another bush down a hill.
Posy shouts,
WE'LL LOOK UP HERE, JUST IN
CASE.
Frankie replies,
OH, WE HAVE TO FIND THEM.
I REALLY WANTED YOU TO TASTE
THEM.
Posy says,
OH, PIP.
LET'S SAY WE FOUND THE CAKES.
Posy grabs the container out of the bush by the tree.
Pip says, WAIT.
He takes the container from Posy and opens it.
Pip shouts, FRANKIE, FRANKIE?
Posy shouts, WE FOUND THEM!
Frankie shouts, GREAT.
She runs up the hill to Pip and Posy. Frankie looks in the container.
She says,
OH, NO.
WHERE'S THE REST?
Posy replies,
UH--
MAYBE THE GREEDY BIRDS TOOK
THEM.
The crow hops on the picnic blanket.
Frankie says, OH.
(Crow cawing)
The crow flies away.
Frankie says,
THERE'S STILL TWO LEFT.
WE CAN SHARE THEM.
THERE.
ONE FOR EACH OF MY FRIENDS.
Frankie splits the cupcakes in half.
Pip replies,
BUT THEN YOU WON'T GET ONE.
Frankie says,
IT'S OKAY.
I WANT YOU TO TRY THEM.
JAMILA, ZAC?
Frankie runs away from Pip and Posy.
Posy says,
PIP?
I FEEL BAD.
Pip replies,
ME, TOO.
WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TOLD A FIB.
(Sighing)
Posy says,
YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO TELL HER
THE TRUTH.
Pip asks,
WHAT?
WHY ME?
Posy replies, YOU'LL EXPLAIN IT BETTER.
Pip says,
BUT YOU'RE BETTER AT SAYING
SORRY.
(Humming)
Jamila and Frankie run back to the picnic.
Frankie asks,
WHO WANTS A MAGIC SPRINKLE
CAKE?
Jamila raises her hand.
She replies, ME.
Zac returns to the picnic.
He says,
MORE CAKE?
WE'VE EATEN SO MANY MY TUMMY
FEELS LIKE A BLOB MONSTER.
Frankie asks, YOU'VE EATEN THEM?
Pip replies,
OH, FRANKIE, THEY WERE JUST
SO YUMMY.
Posy adds,
BUT WE DIDN'T WANT TO UPSET
YOU.
Pip says,
SO, THAT'S WHY WE HID THE
TIN, AND THEN...
Posy says,
AND THEN WE MADE UP A FIB SO
YOU WOULDN'T KNOW.
Frankie replies, OH.
Pip and Posy say, SORRY.
Zac nods.
He adds,
MM-HMM.
ME, TOO.
ARE YOU GOING TO GET A CROSS
FACE?
Frankie replies,
NO.
I DON'T MIND THAT YOU ATE THE
CAKES.
I'M SAD YOU LIED ABOUT IT.
The crow flies down to the blanket. It takes one of Jamila’s strawberries.
Frankie says, HUH?
(Gasping)
The crow flies away.
Jamila shouts, HEY!
Pip says, COME BACK.
The crow flies behind the tree. The butterfly flies out the other side.
Jamila says,
IT ATE MY MAGIC STRAWBERRY
AND TURNED INTO A BUTTERFLY.
Zac adds, MAGIC.
Frankie says, AW.
Posy whispers, PIP?
(Indistinct whispering)
(Gasping)
Pip and Posy put on their pointy hats.
(Giggling)
(Clearing throat)
Pip and Posy stand up and wiggle their fingers.
Pip says,
WIGGLE FINGERS IN THE AIR.
WIGGLE FINGERS TO THE FLOOR.
PIP AND POSY WON'T TELL FIBS
ANYMORE.
Posy says, PIPPETY-POSY-POP.
Pip puts the two haves of the cupcakes back together.
(Giggling)
Posy gives a cupcake to Frankie.
Posy asks, MORE MAGIC?
Frankie says, WUDA-WUDA-WHUP.
Pip adds,
WE'RE REALLY SORRY, FRANKIE.
Zac says,
BUT THEY WERE THE YUMMIEST
CAKES IN THE WHOLE, ENTIRE
WORLD.
(Everyone laughing)
Frankie replies, THANK YOU.
Zac shouts,
MAGIC, PLEASE, WIZARDS.
Frankie adds sprinkles to a cupcake.
She says, WUDA-WUDA-WHUP.
Zac gives the cupcake to Jamila.
Jamila says,
OOH.
THANKS.
MMM.
SUPER-LICIOUS.
Zac takes a sandwich out of Pip’s container.
He says,
A WIZARD WIGGLY BUM SANDWICH.
MMM-MMM.
(Babbling)
(Laughing)
Zac dances. Pip and Posy eat fruit.
Pip says, SHARK ORANGE.
Posy says, PARROT GRAPE.
Pip pretends to be a shark. He snaps his arms like a mouth.
Pip says, SNAP-SNAP-SNAP.
(Squealing)
Pip chases Posy.
He says, I'M GOING TO GET YOU.
Jamila says,
I'M A MAGIC TICKLE SPIDER.
COOCHIE-COOCHIE-COO.
Frankie sings,
