Bamboo Love puts down the bowl and rubs their belly.

Bamboo Love says, MMM.

The narrator says, MMM, THAT LOOKS YUMMY.

Bamboo Love says, UHH.
MM-HMM.

Bamboo Love taps the spoon against the cereal bowl.

[Ringing]

The narrator says, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SOUND
YOU JUST MADE.
CAN YOU PLAY THAT SOUND AGAIN?

Bamboo Love taps the spoon against the bowl three more times. Bamboo Love drinks milk from the bowl.

[Slurping]

Bamboo Love says, AHH.

Bamboo Love looks at the bowl.

Bamboo Love picks up the bowl and drinks more of the milk.

Bamboo Love puts down the bowl and taps the spoon against it.

Bamboo Love taps the bowl with the spoon.

The narrator says, THAT SOUNDS DIFFERENT!

Bamboo Love says, OHH.

Bamboo Love drinks more milk from the bowl.

[Slurping]

Bamboo Love puts down the bowl and taps the spoon against it.

[Very deep ringing]

[Tapping and ringing in the distance]

The narrator says, OH, I HEAR IT TOO.

Bamboo Love looks curious.

Bamboo Love glances at the bowl and says, AHH.

The narrator says, NICE CATCH, BAMBOO LOVE!

Bamboo Love drops the spoon in the bowl and runs over to two grey mice tapping on bowls.

The narrator says, OH LOOK, THE MICE TWINS
ARE PLAYING THIS SOUTH ASIAN
JAL TARANG INSTRUMENT.

[Tapping]

The narrator asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO WATCH
THEM PLAY THE JAL TARANG?

Bamboo Love says, AW-TAWANG?

The narrator says, YES, THE JAL TARANG BOWL SHAPED
INSTRUMENTS.

The Mice Twins stop playing the Jal Tarang.

[Bamboo Love clapping]

[Penguin honking]

Penguin joins the Mice Twins and Bamboo Love with a tablet and waves.

The narrator says, WELL, HELLO, PENGUIN.

Bamboo Love waves to Penguin.

The narrator asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP

ABOUT THE JAL TARANG

Penguin takes a picture of the Jal Tarang with the tablet.

[Camera flashing]

[Penguin honking]

Penguin shows the picture.

The narrator says, THE JAL TARANG CONSISTS OF 18-25
PORCELAIN CUPS OR
BOWLS OF DIFFERENT SIZES.
THE PITCH CHANGES
WHEN YOU POUR DIFFERENT
AMOUNTS OF WATER INTO THE BOWLS.

The tablet shows different sized bowls.

The narrator says, THE JAL TARANG IS ARRANGED
IN ORDER OF SIZE.
THE LARGEST BOWL IS ON ONE SIDE
AND THE SMALLEST ONE IS ON
THE OTHER SIDE.
TO PLAY THE INSTRUMENT, STRIKE
THE BOWLS EDGES WITH A BAMBOO
STICK IN EACH HAND.

The tablet shows one of the Mice Twins striking bowls with bamboo sticks.

The narrator says, THANK YOU FOR THAT INTERESTING
JAL TARANG LESSON, PENGUIN!

Penguin bows.

[Penguin honking]

Penguin, the Mice Twins and Bamboo Love wave as Penguin leaves.

The narrator says, GO TRY PLAYING THE JAL TARANG
WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

Bamboo Love walks toward the Mice Twins, and accidently knocks over one of the bowls of water.

Bamboo Love says, AHH!

The narrator says, OH MY!

The Mice Twins point toward Bamboo Love with their bamboo sticks. Bamboo Love quickly leaves.

The narrator says, BAMBOO LOVE, WHERE DID YOU GO?

Bamboo Love returns with a watering can.

The narrator says, OH, I SEE YOU ARE REFILLING
WATER INTO THE BOWL.

Bamboo refills the bowl using the watering can.

The narrator says, NOW YOU CAN PLAY THE
JAL TARANG!

Bamboo Love takes the place of one of the Mice Twins and uses their bamboo sticks. Bamboo Love joins the Mice Twins. With two bamboo sticks, Bamboo Love aggressively starts tapping the Jal Tarang. Water splashes out of the bowls.

[Clanging]

The Mice Twins cover their ears.

[Narrator laughing]

The narrator says, TAP THE EDGE OF THE BOWL,
NOT THE WATER.

Bamboo Love says, OH!

[Bamboo Love giggling]

The Mice Twins start playing the Jal Tarang. Bamboo Love watches the Mice Twins.

[Soft ringing]

The narrator says, JUST FOLLOW ALONG
WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Bamboo Love starts playing the Jal Tarang.

The narrator says, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MELODIC SOUND!

Bamboo nods.

The narrator says, YOU CAN MAKE MUSIC
FROM ALMOST ANYTHING.
AND PLAYING WITH YOUR FRIENDS
MAKES IT EVEN BETTER.

[Jal Tarang music continues]

[Soft music plays]
