Flowers are in a meadow. Ladybird and Bee rest on a pink and purple flower.
Ladybird says, AH.
Bee says, HELLO, LADYBIRD.
Ladybird says, HELLO—
A grasshopper jumps on the flower, knocking Bee and Ladybird over.
Ladybird gets up and shakes her head.
Ladybird says, BEE?
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ.
Ladybird says, LILY-LOO.
The narrator asks WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
Ladybird says, LILY-LOO. LILY.
The grasshopper jumps on the flower again and hops away. Ladybird and Bee roll around the rocking flower.
The narrator says, OH, DEAR, LADYBIRD AND BEE, ARE YOU OKAY?
Ladybird asks, LOO?
Bee flaps their wings.
(Ladybird gasps)
A grasshopper is dropping out of the sky toward them. Ladybird and Bee try to move and bump into each other. The grasshopper bounces off the flower, leaving Bee and Ladybird rolling around.
(Musical chime)
The narrator says, UHM, MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET OFF THE FLOWER.
(Music playing)
Bee and Ladybird nod. They fly down to the ground and smile. A grasshopper jumps past them.
(Grasshoppers trilling)
There are grasshoppers on the grass all around Bee and Ladybird.
The narrator says, THOSE HOPPY THINGS ARE THE EXACT SAME COLOUR AS THE GRASS!
Ladybird says, LILY-LOO.
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ.
The narrator says, THEY ARE GREEN GRASS, HOPPY THINGS. LISTEN.
(Grasshoppers trilling)
Bee closes their eyes. Ladybird smiles. The grasshoppers vibrate their legs as they perch on grass stems.
(Music playing)
Bee and Ladybird singing, LOO. BUZZ. LOO, BUZZ, BUZZ.
The grasshoppers stop and turn to stare at Bee and Ladybird.
(Ladybird laughs)
The grasshoppers hop to different grass leaves.
Ladybird says, LILY-LOO!
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ!
(Giggles)
Ladybird and Bee fly above the grass. The grasshoppers wave.
One grasshopper points to their wings and flaps them.
(Wings fluttering)
Bee and Ladybird flutter their wings. They fly down and land on the grasshopper’s back.
The grasshopper hops, carrying Ladybird and Bee along for the ride. They smile as they hang on.
Ladybird giggling, LILY-LOO.
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ.
(Birds chirping nearby)
(Music playing)
