(Soft music playing)
(Giggling)

A child narrates the title, LADYBIRD & BEE.
(Giggling)
(Music playing)
The sky is dark as heavy rain pours onto flowers in a meadow. Ladybird takes shelter under a pink flower and Bee sits under a purple flower.
The narrator says: IT'S NOT RAINING ON LADYBIRD AND BEE!
Ladybird says, LILLILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ!
Raindrops bounce off the pink and purple flowers.
(RUMBLING)
Ladybird says, LILLILOO?
Bee replies, BUZZ?
The narrator asks, WHAT'S THAT NOISE?
A mound of earth pushes up from the muddy ground and water sprays out, sending an earthworm flying up into the air. The worm lands in front of Ladybird and Bee. They fly towards the worm, carrying their flowers like umbrellas. Ladybird and Bee drop the flowers as worms leap out of holes in the ground.
(SPLUTTERING)
The narrator asks, WHAT ARE ALL THE WORMS DOING?
Ladybird says, LILLILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ!
A puddle spreads across the ground and carries six worms away.
The narrator says, WE HAVE TO HELP THE WORMS!
Ladybird says, LILLILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ BUZZ!
Bee gives a leaf to Ladybird. Ladybird and Bee fly towards the worms and drop their leaves onto the puddle.
Ladybird says, LILLILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ!
One of the leaves floats beside the worms. A worm stretches out of the water and flops onto the leaf.
The narrator says, LEAF ISLAND!
GOOD IDEA, LADYBIRD AND BEE.
Ladybird and Bee collect two more leaves. Bee picks up a small brown leaf, then Ladybird collects a large green leaf. They drop the leaves onto the puddle. A worm flops onto the brown leaf and another worm flops onto the green leaf. Ladybird and Bee lift two more leaves off the muddy ground and drop them onto the water’s surface. The two remaining worms each flop onto the leaves. All six worms lie on the leaves as they gently float in the puddle.
The narrator says, THE WORMS ARE SAFE NOW.
WELL DONE, LADYBIRD.
WELL DONE, BEE.
Ladybird says, LILLILOO!
Bee says, BUZZ, BUZZ, BUZZ!
Ladybird and Bee flap their tiny wings and hover in the air above the puddle. They look down at the six worms floating side by side on the leaves.
