Ari stands with Elinor as Olive kneels beside a shelf. Ms. Mole walks past them.

[Ms. Mole laughs]
Ms. Mole says, SURE.
WE TEACHERS ARE JUST LIKE

Ari says, WOW.
[Upbeat music plays]
Olive asks, WHAT ARE YOU
SHOPPING FOR, MS. MOLE?
Ms. Mole takes off her eyeglasses.
She says, WELL, OLIVE--
[Blows on glasses]
Ms. Mole says,--FIRST, I'M GOING
TO GET SOME FRESH BREAD FROM
MR. RACCOON'S BAKERY.
Ari says, OOH, I LOVE FRESH
BREAD. IT SMELLS SO YUMMY.
[Elinor laughs]
Elinor says, I THINK WE BETTER
GO GET ARI A SNACK, MS. MOLE.
Olive says, BYE, SEE YOU TOMORROW!
Ari, Elinor, and Olive walk away from Ms. Mole’s desk.
Ms. Mole says, HAVE FUN, KIDS!
Ms. Mole cleans her glasses with a cloth.
[Exhaling, squeaking]
As leaves fall of trees, Ari, Elinor, and Olive walk out of the school. Ms. Mole follows and closes the school door behind her. She turns and walks in a different direction from the children.
[Door closes]
Ari says, I DIDN'T KNOW TEACHERS
DID THINGS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL.
I THOUGHT THEY LIVED IN
THE SCHOOL.
[Elinor laughs]
Elinor says, ARI, IF MS. MOLE LIVED
IN THE SCHOOL, WHERE WOULD
SHE SLEEP?
Ari says, YOU MEAN TEACHERS SLEEP,
TOO? MIND-BLOWING.
[Elinor and Olive laugh]
[Olive gasps]
[Mellow music plays]
Olive says, WAIT. I FORGOT MY
NOTEBOOK. I MUST HAVE LEFT
IT ON MY CHAIR.
Elinor says, LET'S GO BACK AND
GET IT.
[Squeak, gasp]
Olive runs to a chair and uses her trunk to pick up a green notebook.
Olive says, I FOUND
MY NOTEBOOK!
Elinor says, GREAT!
GOOD THING WE CAME BACK.
[Olive gasps]
Olive runs to Ms. Mole’s desk. She picks up Ms. Mole’s eyeglasses.
Olive says, MS. MOLE'S GLASSES!
MS. MOLE LEFT THESE ON
HER DESK.
Ari says, UH-OH.
Elinor says, SHE WAS CLEANING
THEM BEFORE. SHE MUST HAVE
FORGOTTEN TO PUT THEM
BACK ON.
Olive asks, DO YOU THINK SHE
NEEDS THEM?
Ari says, MY DAD USES GLASSES.
HE SAYS HE CAN'T SEE ANYTHING
WITHOUT THEM.
Olive says, OH, NO. WHAT IF

Ms. Raccoon puts a loaf of breads on a wire shelf.
[Door opens, bell rings]

[Ari sniffs]

MS. MOLE PICK OUT THE PUMPERNICKEL
BREAD WITHOUT HER GLASSES?
Ari walks across the bakery.
[Ari sniffs]
Ari says, HERE IS THE
PUMPERNICKEL BREAD.
[Sniffing, sighing]
Ari says, OH, IT SMELLS SO GOOD!
Ari flies across the bakery.
[Sniffing, flapping, sighing]
Ari says, OOH, AND HERE'S
THE SOURDOUGH. MMM...
Elinor says, THAT'S IT! SHE MUST
HAVE SMELLED THE BREAD!
[Olive sniffs]
Olive says, I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT.
Mr. Raccoon says, WELL, I DO BAKE
THE BEST-SMELLING BREAD

BAKER IN TOWN.
[Mr. Raccoon laughs]

[Sniffing, shuffling]

BANANA BREAD, MY FAVOURITE.
Mr. Raccoon says, YOU'RE EACH RIGHT.
NOW, GO AHEAD TASTE THE SAMPLES.
Ari shouts, YES!
Ari, Elinor, and Olive each take a sample of bread off of a round tray.
[Noisy eating]
[Peaceful music plays]
Olive says, YUMMY.

NEED TO FIND MS. MOLE.

Ms. Mole walks to a fruit stand. Ms. Llama wears a white chef’s hat on her brown curly hair.

Ms. Mole says, I'M WELL, MS. LLAMA.

[Upbeat music plays]
Elinor says, I GUESS MS. MOLE
DIDN'T NEED HER GLASSES TO
PICK OUT THE BREAD.
Olive says, SHE JUST USED
HER NOSE.
Elinor points.
Elinor says, THERE'S MS. LLAMA'S
FRUIT STAND.
Ari throws bread into the air. He flips and catches the bread in his mouth.
[Slide whistle, crunching]
Elinor says, HI, MS. LLAMA!
Ms. Llama says, OH, HELLO, KIDS.
WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH TODAY?
Elinor says, WE'RE LOOKING FOR
OUR TEACHER, MS. MOLE.

RETURN THEM TO HER.

Ari walks to the edge of a bridge over a creek. He looks right and left.

Elinor shouts, WHAT?

Ms. Mole peeks around a tree trunk behind Elinor and Olive.

A thought bubble appears above Ms. Mole. In the bubble, she pushes open a door in the ground and looks outside.

A blue ball bounces off of a turtle’s shell. The turtle pulls its head into the shell and hides.

Rollie, a young, dark yellow armadillo, runs to the turtle.
Rollie says, SORRY!
IS THE TURTLE OKAY?
The turtle pokes its head out of its shell.
[Slide whistle, mellow music plays]
Ari says, PHEW!

Olive says, HE HARDLY
EVEN NOTICED.
Elinor says, THE BALL JUST
BOUNCED OFF HIS SHELL.
Olive says, YEAH, TURTLES HAVE
REALLY HARD SHELLS. I READ

EVERY TURTLE IS BORN WITH A
SHELL, AND THEY WILL GROW
BIGGER AS THEY GET OLDER.
Ari exclaims, WHOA!

Rollie throws the ball into the air and bounces it off his shell.

Rollie rolls into a ball.
[Whooshing]

[Rollie talks, muffled]

Rollie says, I SAID THIS SHELL HELPS

Elinor watches the turtle walk on a dirt path as Ari flies the other way.

Ms. Llama stands behind her fruit stand.

Olive picks up a coconut with her trunk.
Olive asks, OOH, CAN I SQUEEZE

ARE A BIT DIFFERENT THAN ORANGES.
[Grunting, straining]
Olive says, WOW. THE OUTSIDE

[Knocking]
Ari says, I THINK YOU HAVE

[Scratching, grunting, bouncy music plays]
Ari asks, HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED

Ms. Llama says, YOU HAVE TO GO

I'LL SHOW YOU.
Ms. Llama punches a hole in the coconut shell with a mallet and pick. She pours coconut water into three glasses.
[Grunting, liquid flowing]
Elinor says, SO THAT'S HOW
YOU GET COCONUT WATER OUT.
[Slurping]
Olive says, AH, IT'S DELICIOUS!
Ari says, YEAH, THANKS, MS. LLAMA.
Elinor asks, MS. LLAMA, WHY ARE

Ms. Llama says, OH, GOOD QUESTION,

[Popping, water sloshes, slide whistle, thud]
Ms. Llama imagines a palm tree growing on a small island. A coconut falls off the tree.

Ari takes the coconut shell out of Olive’s bag. The shell has a line across the middle.
Olive says, I'VE NEVER GIFT-WRAPPED
SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.

Elinor says, HURRY!
Olive wraps blue ribbon around Ari’s hands, tying them to the coconut shell.
[Ari gasps]
