Transcript: Lemur
“Stop” is spelled out with leaves on top of gravel. A grey and white ring-tailed lemur crawls on a rock that reads “Look”. A lemur’s long tail covers the letter “I” in “Listen”, which is written on a wooden wall.
Lemurs crawl around their zoo enclosures on a sunny day. A lemur climbs onto a wooden fence.
A child says, IT'S A LEMUR!
Another child says,
I LIKE HIM.
HE'S BEAUTIFUL, ISN'T HE?
I LIKE THAT HE HAS
A REALLY LONG TAIL,
AND HE HAS STRIPES ON IT TOO.
LOOK!
HIS FLUFFY TAIL.
Three young children approach the lemur on the fence. A dark-haired boy wearing a red and blue striped shirt points at the lemur.
He says,
HE'S LOOKING AT SOMETHING.
Small teeth stick out of the lemur's mouth. A dark-haired girl wearing a pink dress points at her own teeth.
She says,
LOOK, HE'S GOT LITTLE FANGS,
THERE AND THERE.
HE'S SO CUTE.
YEAH, HE'S CLIMBING DOWN!
The lemur climbs off the fence and walks around its enclosure.
(Playful music playing)
Another lemur sits up in a tree.
The girl wearing the pink dress watches a lemur stand on its hind legs. She copies its movements.
The dark-haired boy yawns as he raises his arms over his head like the lemur.
A lemur runs on all fours across its enclosure. The children copy its movements in a nearby forest. Later they groom each other's hair and rush around a tree.
