A child with long blonde hair shakes hands with the panda.
The blonde-haired child says, NICE TO MEET YOU.
Mandisa asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE YOUR OWN 3D PANDA?
The black-haired child says, YEAH.
The blonde-haired child shouts, YEAH, LET'S DO IT!
Mandisa says, OKAY, LET'S GO GET OUR SUPPLIES.
The black-haired child says, OKAY.
Mandisa and the children get up from the table.
(Lighthearted music)
The children walk around a craft room, gathering supplies.
Mandisa narrates, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED WHITE AND GREEN CARD STOCK, PAPER PLATE, GREEN CONSTRUCTION PAPER IN DIFFERENT SHADES, WHITE AND BLACK CONSTRUCTION PAPER, AND GREEN AND YELLOW PAINT.

(Paintbrush whooshes)
Mandisa and the children are back sitting at the table.
Mandisa says, THE FIRST THING WE NEED TO DO IS BUILD OUR PANDA'S...
Both children say, HEAD.
Mandisa says, BUT FIRST, WE'RE GONNA PUT DOWN THE BIG BLACK OVAL FOR THE BLACK PART OF OUR PANDA'S EYES.
(Lighthearted music)
The children use glue sticks to attach black and white ovals to a circle of white paper.
Mandisa asks, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA PUT ON NOW?
The blonde-haired child says, THE EARS.

Mandisa points to her smile.
Both children say, SMILE.
Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
The children draw smiles with black markers.
The black-haired child says MY PANDA'S SMILING BECAUSE IT'S HAPPY.
Mandisa says, TO MAKE OUR PANDA POP OUT, WE NEED TO MAKE FIVE LOOPS. I CUT OUT FOUR STRIPS OF BLACK PAPER. TO MAKE THE LOOP, JUST CURL THE STRIP INTO A CIRCLE, AND THEN ADD SOME TAPE.
(Lighthearted music)
The children tape the strips of paper into circles.
Mandisa continues, AND SO FOR THE HEAD, WE'RE GONNA USE A BIGGER STRIP OF PAPER TO MAKE A BIG LOOP.
The blonde-haired child says, OOH. HERE, I'M DONE.
Mandisa says, NOW WE'RE GOING TO GLUE OUR LOOPS TO OUR PANDA'S BODY.
Mandisa holds up large ovals of white paper.
(Lighthearted music)
The children use their glue sticks.
Mandisa says, GOOD.
The blonde-haired child says, TO THE TOP OF THE HEAD. THAT.
Mandisa says, GOOD. NOW WE'RE GONNA ADD OUR PANDA'S ARMS. AND YOUR PANDA NEEDS TWO FEET. SO YOU'RE GONNA PUT YOUR PANDA'S ARMS ON TOP OF YOUR LOOPS.
Mandisa gives the children black oval papers. The black-haired child holds his panda up.
The black-haired child says WEE.
Mandisa asks, DO YOU KNOW WHAT PANDAS LIKE TO EAT?
The black-haired child says BAMBOO.
Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT. SO WE NEED TO MAKE A BACKGROUND WITH LOTS OF BAMBOO IN IT. LET'S HEAD OVER TO THE PAINT ZONE.
(Music playing)
Mandisa leads the children to a taller table.
Mandisa says, TO MAKE OUR BAMBOO STALKS, WE'RE GONNA USE A PAINTING TECHNIQUE SO WE'RE GONNA MIX YELLOW AND GREEN TOGETHER. SO ON YOUR PAGE, I'M GONNA PUT DOWN TWO OR THREE LITTLE DOTS OF PAINT. WITH A SMALL PIECE OF SCRAP CARDBOARD, SCRAPE THE PAINT IN A DOWNWARD MOTION. TO CREATE THESE LITTLE NOTCHES ON THE BAMBOO, YOU'RE GONNA MOVE YOUR PIECE OF CARDBOARD SIDE TO SIDE.
The black-haired child scrapes yellow and green paint over white paper.
Mandisa says, SIDE TO SIDE.
Mandisa watches the blonde-haired child drag the paint over paper.
Mandisa says, SIDE TO SIDE. DOWN.
Mandisa holds a handful of light green paper leaves.
Mandisa says, I'VE CUT OUT SOME GREEN LEAVES FROM CONSTRUCTION PAPER. LET'S GLUE THOSE TO YOUR BAMBOO STALKS. OKAY.
The children glue the leaves.
The blonde-haired child asks, IS IT TIME TO PUT THE PANDAS ON?
Mandisa says, IT IS. ADD A LITTLE BIT OF GLUE. JUST CAREFUL OF THE PAINT. ADD SOME GLUE IN THE MIDDLE THERE.
The blonde-haired child uses the glue stick on the paper with the bamboo and leaves.
(Lighthearted music)
The black-haired child glues a panda to the paper.
Mandisa asks, CAN MY PANDA JOIN YOU?
Both children cry, YEAH!
Mandisa says, GREAT. LET'S HAVE A PANDA PARTY.
They hold up their pandas on the papers. The pandas’ heads move as they shake the papers.
Mandisa says, THIS IS A GREAT PARTY.
