[Boing]
Mandisa sits at a white round table. To her right sits a boy with short black hair. He wears a buttoned blue denim shirt. A girl with curly red hair sits to Mandisa’s left. The girl wears a pink long-sleeved sweater.
Mandisa asks, WHAT KIND OF CRAFT
SHOULD WE MAKE TODAY?
The boy says, SOMETHING GOOEY.
The girl says, SOMETHING SQUISHY.
The boy says, AND SPARKLY!
Mandisa smiles.
She says, I HAVE JUST THE
THING. GLITTER SLIME!
Mandisa stretches sparkling green slime.
[Twinkling, children exclaim]
Mandisa asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO
CRAFT SOME OF YOUR OWN?
Both children say, YES.
Mandisa says, OKAY, LET'S GET OUR SUPPLIES!
The boy says, OKAY.

The girl says, THERE'S BLACK IN MINE
Mandisa says, YEAH, IT'S A DARK PURPLE.
The girl asks, WHAT DO WE USE THE FLOUR FOR?
Mandisa says, THIS ACTUALLY ISN'T
FLOUR. IT'S BAKING SODA.
OKAY, THAT'S HALF
A TEASPOON THERE.
[Clink]
Mandisa uses her finger to smooth the top of a measuring spoon.
Mandisa says, AND THEN WE'RE
GONNA JUST SLIDE IT ACROSS,
MAKE SURE IT'S ALL FULL.
OKAY, YOU CAN PUT
THAT INTO YOUR BOWL.
AND MIX THAT ALL IN.
[Clanking]

IT INTO SLIME.

LET'S PUT IN A LITTLE BIT MORE
'CAUSE THE SLIME ISN'T QUITE
READY TO BE PICKED UP YET.
The boy stirs his slime.
[Clink]
Mandisa asks, IS IT GETTING HARDER TO STIR?
The boy says, THIS IS LIKE STICKY.
Mandisa says, YES. YOU MIGHT
BE ALMOST READY. PICK UP
OUR SLIME.
The girl says, IT'S GLITTER SLIME.

Mandisa says, THERE YOU GO.
AND CAN YOU START KNEADING
THAT WITH YOUR HANDS?
Arjay, the boy, takes the blue slime. Mandisa picks up the purple slime.
Mandisa warns, IT'S GONNA BE REALLY STICKY,
SO I WANT YOU TO KNEAD
THAT WITH YOUR HANDS.
(UPBEAT MUSIC)
Mandisa asks, SO CAN YOU SQUEEZE
IT AND PUSH IT AND KNEAD IT WITH
YOUR HANDS?
WOW, ARJAY, YOU MADE SOME
PRETTY GOOD SLIME THERE!
WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE, EMMA?
