A person says, WHEE!

[Giggling]

[Cheerful music plays]

An animated sun shines brightly as a plane craft glides through the sky. A bird craft sits on a tree branch beside host Mandisa, who waves. Mandisa has long black hair and wears a headband and denim overalls with a peach-coloured t-shirt.

A ladybug craft lands on a nearby flower. Mandisa walks down a path, passing other fun crafts. A bunny craft and a monster craft land in her hands and she smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

[Joyful music plays]

In a playroom, Mandisa wears a pink headband, and a yellow shirt with her overalls. She sits at a table with a brown-haired child and a black-haired child.

Mandisa asks, WHAT KIND OF CRAFT
SHOULD WE MAKE TODAY?

Both children say, SLIME!

Mandisa says, GREAT IDEA.
HOW ABOUT A SPECIAL KIND OF
SLIME THAT FEELS CRUNCHY?

She plays with purply slime that has foam beads in it.

[Foam crunching]

The children say, COOL!

Mandisa says, IT'S
CALLED FLOAM SLIME.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE SOME?

They children say, YEAH!

Mandisa says, OKAY, LET'S GET STARTED!

She and the children leave the table. The children collect different craft supplies.

Mandisa narrates, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED
WHITE FOAM BEADS
AND GLITTER GLUE,
CONTACT LENS SOLUTION,
MIXING SPOON, MEASURING
SPOON, AND BAKING SODA.

Mandisa joins the children at another table with the craft supplies.

She asks, WHAT TIME IS IT?

The children say, SLIME TIME!

Mandisa says, THE FIRST INGREDIENT FOR
OUR SLIME IS GLITTER GLUE!
YOU'RE GONNA POUR THE ENTIRE
BOTTLE INTO YOUR BOWL.

The brown-haired child squeezes a bottle of pink glitter glue into a large bowl.

They say, IT'S SLIME.

[Brown haired child giggling]

Mandisa asks, WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

The brown-haired child says, COTTON CANDY.

The black-haired child squeezes a bottle of blue glitter glue into a bowl.

[Giggling]

The black-haired child says, IT LOOKS COOL.

Mandisa smiles. The children empty their glue bottles.

The brown-haired child asks, WHY DO WE ADD IN THAT?

Mandisa says, GREAT QUESTION.
WE'RE GONNA ADD A HALF
TEASPOON OF BAKING SODA!

She helps the brown-haired child with a heaping measuring spoon of baking soda.

Mandisa says, OKAY, THEN TAKE YOUR FINGER
AND SLIDE IT ACROSS SO
THAT IT'S NICE AND FLAT.

The brown-haired child flattens the measurement of baking soda, then dumps it into their bowl of glue. The black-haired child adds baking soda to the blue glue.

Mandisa asks, DO YOU KNOW WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO?

The brown-haired child says, YEAH.

Mandisa says, YOU CAN MIX!
GO AHEAD AND MIX.

The children mix the baking soda into their glue using spatulas.

Mandisa asks, WHAT DOES THAT FEEL LIKE?

The brown-haired child says, GOOEY.

Mandisa says, YEAH?

[Mandisa laughing]

The brown-haired child says, I FEEL LIKE I'M BAKING
A CAKE WITH PINK FROSTING.

The black-haired child says, I AM SHOVELING THE SNOW.

They scoop glue with their spatula.

Mandisa says, OKAY, OUR NEXT INGREDIENT
IS OUR ACTIVATOR.
FOR THAT, WE'RE GOING TO
USE CONTACT LENS SOLUTION.
WE'RE GONNA ADD ONE TABLESPOON
OF CONTACT LENS SOLUTION.

The black-haired boy fills a tablespoon with contact lens solution, then pours it into the bowl of blue glitter glue and baking soda.

The brown-haired child says, I'M GONNA POUR IT NOW.

Mandisa says, OKAY, GO AHEAD. OKAY.

The brown-haired child pours a tablespoon of contact lens solution into their bowl of pink glitter glue.

Mandisa says, AND YOU CAN MIX THAT IN.

The children mix in the contact lens solution.

Mandisa asks, IS IT GETTING HARD TO MIX?

The black-haired child says, YEAH.

Mandisa says, YEAH.

The brown-haired child says, IT'S GETTING HARDER.

Mandisa says, IS IT GETTING HARDER?
YEAH.

The children struggle to mix their glue, contact lens solution and baking soda together.

Mandisa says, OKAY.
YOU KNOW YOUR SLIME IS
READY TO BE PICKED UP
WHEN IT'S HARD TO MIX.
FIRST, LET'S ROLL UP OUR
SLEEVES…

The children roll up their sleeves.

Mandisa continues, …AND PICK UP YOUR SLIME.

The children take the slime out of their bowls.

Mandisa says, AND THEN I WANT YOU TO START
KNEADING IT WITH YOUR HANDS.

The children knead the sticky slime.

The brown-haired child asks, WHAT'S KNEADING?

Mandisa says, IT MEANS MIXING
AND SQUEEZING AND PUSHING.

The black-haired child says, FEELS LIKE DOUGH.

Mandisa says, NOW THAT YOUR
SLIME IS KNEADED,
WE'RE GONNA ADD SOME…

She picks up a bowl.

She asks, DO
YOU KNOW WHAT THESE ARE?

The brown-haired child says, FOAM BALLS.

Mandisa says, YOU CAN GRAB SOME FOAM BALLS
AND PUT THEM IN THE MIDDLE
OF YOUR SLIME.

The children sprinkle foam balls onto their slime.

Mandisa says, AND THEN FOLD THE
SLIME ONTO THEM.

The brown-haired child folds their pink slime over the foam balls. The black-haired child adds more foam balls to their blue slime.

Mandisa asks, HOW MANY BALLS ARE
YOU ADDING, MICHAEL?

Michael, the black-haired child, says, A LOT.
LOOK AT IT!

He grins. The brown-haired child adds more foam balls to their slime.

The brown-haired child says, GET THEM IN, GET
THEM IN, GET THEM IN!

Michael adds more foam balls to his slime.

The brown-haired child says, LOOK AT MINE!

Mandisa looks at the pink slime.

She says, OH MY GOODNESS.
OKAY, CAN YOU FOLD IT OVER?
LET'S SEE YOU FOLD IT OVER.

The brown-haired child says, I CAN FOLD IT?

Mandisa says, YEAH!

The brown-haired child folds their slime over a pile of foam balls. Michael works on his slime.

Mandisa asks, OH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Michael says, I'M ROLLING IT.

He rolls his slime over foam balls.

Mandisa says, LOVE YOUR METHOD.
IT'S LIKE A CROISSANT.

The brown-haired child plays with their slime full of foam balls.

Mandisa asks, WHAT DOES THAT FEEL LIKE?

The brown-haired child says, GOOEY!

Michael adds more foam balls to his slime.

Mandisa says, OKAY, IT TAKES LOTS OF
MIXING, SO KEEP KNEADING.

The children knead the foam balls into their slime.

The brown-haired child says, LOOK, MINE LOOKS LIKE A TACO.

[Mandisa laughing]

Mandisa says, OUR FLOAM SLIME IS READY.
NOW IT'S TIME TO...

Michael says, PLAY!

The brown-haired child says, PLAY WITH IT!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
LET'S PLAY WITH OUR SLIME.

She plays with her own purple floam slime.

She says, STRETCH IT.
SQUEEZE IT.

The brown-haired child says, LOOK, IT'S STARTING TO PULL.

The children stretch their floam slime.

Michael says, MINE IS SO LONG.

Mandisa stretches her floam slime.

She says, OH, LOOK HOW STRETCHY MINE IS.
HOW STRETCHY IS YOURS?

The brown-haired child’s floam slime snaps apart.

[Brown haired child laughing]
