Doobeedoo sleeps on a tree branch. He awakens and sits on the branch. Jasmine and Jambo arrive and look up at Doobeedoo.

Jasmine says, NO TIME FOR SNOOZING! CAN'T YOU HEAR THAT METALLIC SOUND? IT'S TIME FOR TEA WITH DOODOOWAH!

Jambo says, HURRY UP, WE HAVE TO GET THERE RIGHT ON TIME. DRESSED IN OUR BEST.

[Jasmine giggling]

Jambo transforms his clothes into a tuxedo. Jasmine wears a wide-brimmed hat. Doobeedoo lies down on the branch.

Jasmine says, HMM? COME ON, DOOBEEDOO, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A GREAT TIME.

[Meowing, yowling, metal clinking]

Jasmine puts a bowtie on Doobeedoo and yanks him off the branch.

[Clock ticking, cuckoo clock chiming, clinking, cuckooing, dinging]

Doodoowah sits on a table, stirring tea with a spoon.

Jasmine says, AH, JUST IN TIME!

[Doobeedoo grumbling, splashing]

Ta-Da jumps in a puddle on a stool. Doobeedoo sits with his ears flat.

Jambo says, TEATIME MAY COMMENCE.

[Doobeedoo grumbling, dignified music plays]

Jambo says, JASMINE, MY DEAR, COULD I TEMPT YOU WITH A GINGER BISCUIT?

Jasmine says, WHY, OF COURSE, MY DEAR JAMBO.

[Munching]

Jasmine says, MMM! THEY'RE EXQUISITE.

Doodoowah tips his hat to Jasmine.

Jasmine says, THERE'S NOTHING IN THE WORLD I LIKE MORE THAN DOODOOWAH'S GINGER BISCUITS. DOOBEEDOO, WOULD YOU LIKE ONE?

[Meowing]

Jasmine asks, HAVE YOU SEEN THEM? THEY'RE SHAPED LIKE LITTLE SARDINES.

[Meowing]

Jasmine says, OOH, JUST TRY THEM. THEY'RE REALLY SCRUMPTIOUS.

[Doobeedoo grumbling]

Doobeedoo lies down on the stool beside Ta-Da.

Jasmine says, OH, DOOBEEDOO, WE'RE HAVING A REALLY GOOD TIME.

[Jasmine grumbling]

Jambo says, AH, IT'S SUCH A SPLENDID AFTERNOON, DON'T YOU AGREE?

Jasmine says, MMHMM.

Jambo says, IT'S SO PEACEFUL, IT'S SO NICE AND QUIET.

[Slurping, rumbling, screaming, yowling]

The ground shakes.

Jasmine says, HOW ODD, WHAT WAS IT?

Jambo says, NO IDEA, NEVER HEARD ANYTHING LIKE IT. DO YOU KNOW, DOOBEEDOO?

Doobeedoo’s bowtie lies on the stool beside Ta-Da.

Jasmine and Jambo say, HMM.

Jasmine says, DOOBEEDOO?

[Upbeat music plays]

Jambo, Doodoowah, and Ta-Da follow Jasmine.

Jasmine says, DOOBEEDOO?! DOOBEEDOO! WHY DID HE RUN OFF WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, WAS HE UPSET?

Jambo says, I DOUBT IT, DOOBEEDOO IS A CAT AND THAT'S JUST WHAT CATS ARE LIKE. ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY DISAPPEAR.

Jasmine says, BUT WHERE TO?

Jambo says, I HAVE NO IDEA. IT'S AS IF THE WOODS HAVE JUST SWALLOWED HIM UP.

[Howling, yelping, clanking]

Jasmine says, WHAT'S THAT CRAZY NOISE?

Jambo says, I THINK IT'S SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE LALALAS, AND I WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED AT ALL IF DOOBEEDOO WAS WITH THEM.

Jasmine says, HMM, WELL, IF WE CAN'T FOLLOW DOOBEEDOO, WE CAN FOLLOW THE LALALAS!

[Jambo laughing, slide whistles]

Jasmine and Jambo peer out from behind trees.

Jasmine says, HMM.

Jambo says, HMM.

Three Lalalas bounce past the tree.

They sing, LALALALA, LALALALA.

Jambo says, BY THE PIPES OF PAN! IT'S THE LALALAS OF METAL!

Jasmine says, WHO?

Jambo says, LET'S GO!

[Engine rumbling]

Jambo turns into a motorcycle. Jasmine, Doodoowah, and Ta-Da jump on the seat.

Jambo says, HAHHAH!

Jasmine says, OH, WHAT A RACKET!

Jambo says, THAT MEANS WE'RE NEARLY THERE!

[Fans cheering, heavy metal music plays]

The Lalalas of Metal sing on a stage. In front of the stage, Lalalas dance and Doobeedoo headbangs.

Jasmine says, BUT, BUT, BUT...THIS IS AMAZING!

Jambo says, IT'S HEAVY METAL! THEY CALL IT THE DEVIL'S MUSIC. DOOBEEDOO LOVES IT!

[Doobeedoo yowling]

Jambo says, YEAH! IT'S SO FUN!

Jasmine throws her hat away.

Jasmine says, YEAH! HEAVY METAL!

[Shouting, yowling, heavy metal music continues]

Jambo and Jasmine join the fans and headbang.

Jambo and Jasmine play air guitar.

Doodoowah sits by a speaker and stirs his tea.

Jasmine shows Doodoowah a studded leather bracelet.

Jasmine says, DOODOOWAH, HAVE YOU SEEN HOW SHINY THESE STUDS ARE? COME ON, WE'RE HAVING A REALLY GOOD TIME! AWW, DOODOOWAH.

[Fans cheering]

Jambo says, JASMINE, AREN'T YOU COMING? IT'S THE LAST SONG!

Jasmine says, I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE DOODOOWAH.

Jambo says, MAYBE DOODOOWAH DOESN'T LIKE HEAVY METAL, IN THE SAME WAY THAT DOOBEEDOO DOESN'T LIKE GINGER BISCUITS AND TEA!

[Meowing, shouting, clinking, slide whistle]

Jasmine follows Jambo and Doobeedoo back to the stage. She looks back at Doodoowah. A lalala knocks Doodoowah’s teacup off the branch, and it flies towards Jambo.

Jasmine says, WHOA!

[Meowing]

Doobeedoo jumps up and catches the teacup.

[Jasmine sighing happily, music stops, Doodoowah humming, soft meowing]

Doobeedoo puts the teacup on the ground in front of Doodoowah, and they look at each other with hearts in their eyes.

[Happy music plays]

Jambo says, THAT WAS GREAT! IT'S 257 YEARS SINCE I LET MY HAIR DOWN LIKE THAT. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT! WE STARTED OUT HAVING A NICE QUIET CUP OF TEA, AND WE ENDED UP DISCOVERING HEAVY METAL!

[Jasmine laughing]

Jasmine says, RIGHT, JAMBO, BUT I FOUND OUT SOMETHING ELSE TOO. IT'S NOT A PROBLEM IF YOU DON'T LIKE GINGER BISCUITS, AND IT'S NOT A PROBLEM IF YOU DON'T LIKE HEAVY METAL. EVERYONE LIKES DIFFERENT THINGS, AND WE DON'T ALWAYS HAVE TO AGREE ABOUT EVERYTHING, DO WE? AND IF DOOBEEDOO DOESN'T WANT TO COME TO DOODOOWAH'S TEA PARTIES, THAT'S GREAT! Later, Jambo and Jasmine sip tea at Doodoowah’s tea party. Two of the Lalalas of Metal sit on the stool.
