[Grunting, tapping, slide whistle, happy sighing, meowing]
Doodoowah spits the ball at Jasmine, and she hits it.
Jambo says, WAH!
[Grunting, meowing, gasping]
Jambo looks up at the ball and backs into Doobeedoo, Doodoowah, and the Lalalas. Hats fall on the ground, and the ball bounces into Jambo’s hat. Jasmine runs to the pile of players.
Jasmine asks, YOU ALL OKAY?
Jambo says, YES!
Jasmine looks into Jambo’s hat.
Jasmine says, HM?
Jambo asks, WHAT IS IT?
Jasmine says, THE BALL, IT FELL INTO YOUR HAT.
Jambo says, OH, OH, DEAR. IT WAS A ROUND ONE, WASN'T IT?
Jasmine says, YES, JAMBO, IT WAS ROUND.
[Rustling, gentle music plays]
Jambo takes balls and a frying pan out of his hat and throws them over his shoulder.
Jambo says, IT'S NOT THIS ONE. IT WASN'T THIS ONE, EITHER. OR THIS ONE. OR THIS ONE, OR THIS ONE. OH, MY MARACAS! THAT'S WHERE THEY WERE!
[Maracas rattling, Jasmine humming]
Jambo says, YOU HEAR THAT? THAT'S A SALSA RHYTHM. IF YOU PUT A BIT OF SALSA IN YOUR LIFE, IT MAKES EVERYONE FEEL ALIVE IN THE MOMENT. LISTEN TO THIS. AH, SALSA!
[Lalalas singing]

Jambo takes a life ring, a clock, and a record out of his hat. He reaches in and takes out the ball.

Jambo and Jasmine say, HM.
Jasmine says, I'M GOING TO GO AND PUT IT ON!
[Clicking, upbeat music plays]
Jasmine puts the record on a record player.
A person sings, THERE IS MUSIC IN THE AIR, STIRRING FEELINGS THAT WE SHARE. SUDDENLY OUR HEARTS ARE RACING.
[Jambo sighing, singing continues in the background]
Jasmine asks, JAMBO, WHO IS THIS SUNG BY?

Jasmine, Doodoowah, Doobeedoo, and the Lalalas play instruments and march beneath Jambo.

[Jambo humming, Doodoowah grumbling, clattering]
Doodoowah drops a drumstick.
Jasmine says, HM, AH!
[Popping, Jambo grunting]
Jasmine takes out a pin and pops Jambo. He deflates and flies around town.

[Grunting, thumping]
Jasmine says, JAMBO, ARE YOU OKAY?!
Jambo lies on a large flower.
Jambo sings, THE RHYTHM OF OUR SONG.
[Gentle music plays]
Jasmine says, GUYS, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. THERE'S NO WAY TO GET IT OUT OF HIS HEAD. I'M SICK OF "OUR SONG," OR MAYBE I SHOULD SAY, "HIS SONG." IT SEEMS ALL HE WANTS TO DO IS TO REMEMBER JAMBA. HE DOESN'T LOVE US ANYMORE.
Doodoowah says, HUH?
[Maracas rattling]
Doodoowah trips over the maracas.
[Ta-Da singing fanfare, water splashing]
Ta-Da jumps over Jasmine.
Jasmine says, OF COURSE, THE MARACAS!
[Laughing, maracas rattling]
