Jambo, a blue shape-shifting creature, rolls shaped like a tricycle wheel while Jasmine, an orange creature with long, thin arms and legs, holds the handlebars.

Jambo, Jasmine, Doobeedoo, Doodoowah, and Ta-da relax in a flower garden.

Jambo says, HMM. LOOK AT THIS WONDERFUL GARDEN. THE FLOWERS, THE BEES, THE SUN...

[Sun sighing happily]

Jambo says, IT'S SPRINGTIME!

Jasmine says, YOU REALLY LOVE SPRING, RIGHT, JAMBO?

Jambo says, YES! AND I REALLY LOVE THE SMELL OF FLOWERS, BECAUSE WHEN I BREATHE IN THAT AROMA...

[Sniffing]

Jambo says, I GET INSPIRED! TROMBONES, WE DID GET INSPIRED! AND I'VE JUST COMPOSED A BRAND-NEW SONG. I'LL CALL IT "HOORAY FOR SPRINGTIME" AND THE FIRST PERFORMANCE WILL BE TODAY!

[Jasmine gasping, cheering]

Jasmine cheers, HOORAY FOR SPRINGTIME AND HOORAY FOR JAMBO!

Jambo says, DOODOOWAH, THE VIOLIN. DOOBEEDOO, THE BASSOON. AND JASMINE, YOU CAN PLAY THE CYMBALS.

[Upbeat music plays]

Jasmine says, CYMBALS? OKAY. BUT, WHERE'S MY SCORE?

Jambo says, HMM, HMM, HM...

Jambo says, THIS ONE HERE IS YOURS. HERE YOU GO.

Jasmine says, UHH, JAMBO? THERE MUST BE SOME MISTAKE. THERE'S ONLY ONE SINGLE NOTE ON THIS WHOLE SCORE.

[Chuckling]

Jambo says, TRUE, BUT IT'S THE NOTE YOU PLAY RIGHT AT THE VERY END, AT THE CLIMAX, WHEN THE ORCHESTRA IS PLAYING AT ITS LOUDEST.

Jasmine says, BUT THE OTHERS GET TO PLAY A LOT MORE!

[Jasmine chuckling]

Jambo says, YOUR NOTE IS VERY IMPORTANT, JASMINE. THAT'S WHY I'M ENTRUSTIN' IT TO YOU. THAT SAID, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MOMENT.

[Jasmine groaning]


Later, Jambo stands on a stage with Doobeedoo, Ta-Da, Jasmine, and Doodoowah on tiered stages around him. Lalalas watch from nearby seats.

[Exciting musical notes play]

Jambo says, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I'M PROUD TO PRESENT MY LATEST COMPOSITION, "HOORAY FOR SPRINGTIME"!

Jasmine grumbles, AND HOORAY FOR BOREDOM.

[Baton tapping, cheerful music plays softly]

Jasmine says, KNOW WHAT, TA-DA? I HAVE TO PLAY THE LAST NOTE. I THINK I'LL HAVE A LITTLE NAP. WAKE ME UP WHEN YOU GET NEAR THE END, WILL YOU?

[Jasmine sighing, fly buzzing, frustrated groaning]

Jasmine says, YOU PESKY FLY!

[Jasmine grunting, clinking]

Jasmine chases the fly and hits her head on Doobeedoo’s music stand.

Jasmine says, AHH OOH! AGH!

[Jasmine grunting, clattering, violin plays out of tune]

Jasmine spins Doodoowah’s music stand.

Jambo says, HOLD IT, STOP! BY TCHAIKOVSKY'S WHISKERS! JASMINE, WHAT IS THIS?

[Birds chirping]

Jasmine says, A FLY'S ATTACKING ME!

Jambo says, DON'T EXAGGERATE. FLIES DON'T ATTACK PEOPLE! GO BACK TO YOUR PLACE AND WAIT FOR YOUR MOMENT.

Jasmine says, "FLIES DON'T ATTACK PEOPLE." BUT THEY'RE REALLY ANNOYING! YOU SAW IT, RIGHT, TA-DA?


[Baton tapping, Jasmine groaning, cheerful music plays, grunting, cymbal crashing, meowing]

Jasmine chases the fly close to Doobeedoo. She smashes her cymbals together close to the fly. The Lalalas jump in their seats.

Lalalas say, AHH!

[Cymbals crashing]

Jambo says, OOH?

[Grunting, cymbals crashing]

Jasmine stands on Doodoowah’s music stand and then chases the fly back to her spot. Jambo plugs his ears with his fingers.

Jambo says, AHH. OGH!

[Cymbals crashing]

Jasmine says, HA! HEE OOH!

[Music stops]

Everyone stares at Jasmine.

Jambo says, TROMBONES, JASMINE! I TOLD YOU YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MOMENT. COME ON, BACK TO YOUR PLACES, EVERYONE.

Jasmine asks, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FLY?

Jambo replies, I'M ABOUT TO FLY OFF THE HANDLE, THAT'S WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DO! EVERYONE, BACK TO THEIR PLACES.

[Cheerful music plays]

Jasmine says, AGH! IT'S SUCH A PAIN. FIRST, I GET THE CYMBAL, THEN THAT STUPID FLY. I'M STARTING TO GET REALLY FED UP WITH SPRING. IT'S SO ANNOYING! BAD INSECTS ABOUT TO GET ON OUR NERVES, BUT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE JAMBO SAYS, "YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MOMENT." GRRR!

[Buzzing, dinging, splashing]

Ta-Da dives into their puddle.

Jasmine says, OOH!

[Gasping]

Jasmine says, OF COURSE! I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT. THANK YOU, TA DA!

[Buzzing, cheerful music plays]

Jasmine watches the fly.

Jasmine says, I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT, I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT, I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT, I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY MOMENT.

[Buzzing]

[Cymbals crashing]

Jasmine bangs her cymbals together, and the fly falls to the stage.

The Lalalas cheer, LA LA! LA LA!

[Gentle music plays]

Jambo says, OOH, HAHA. FANTASTIC. THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! YOU LEARNED HOW TO WAIT FOR YOUR MOMENT.

Jasmine says, AND I THINK THAT YOU'VE LEARNED NOT TO BOTHER JASMINE.

[Buzzing, sighing, birds singing]

Jasmine picks up the fly and lets it go.

[Happy music plays]

Jasmine kicks a ball, and it rolls over musical instruments. Doodoowah knocks over a row of dominoes.

Jasmine sings, WAIT UNTIL YOUR MOMENT COMES; JUST WAIT. FOCUSING PATIENTLY, BUT THEN YOU HAVE TO BRING ALL YOUR STYLE, GLOWING WITH PRESENCE LIKE A PEARL IN ITS SHELL. THE FINAL CHERRY ON THE CAKE.

Doobeedoo rides a skateboard.

Jasmine sings, WAIT UNTIL YOU REACH THE MOUNTAINTOP, THEN REACH YOUR HANDS INTO THE AIR. MAKE SURE YOU GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT.

An accordion bounces down a staircase and hits a lever. A fan spins and blows Jambo’s head onto a music staff. He smiles as he rolls past music notes. Jambo rolls over Jasmine, Doobeedoo, and Doodoowah, and they roll with him. Jambo knocks over a row of dominoes.

Jasmine sings, SINGING OUT LOUD AND CLEAR AND COUNTING THE BARS. WATCHING THE TEMPO; ONE LEAP AND YOU JOIN THE CRESCENDO.

[Buzzing]

The fly flies to Jambo, Jasmine, Doobeedoo, and Doodoowah.


Jambo says, OOH?

Jasmine says, HUH?

Jambo says, OOH.

[Loud buzzing, screaming, cymbals crashing, loud music plays, laughing]

A swarm of flies appears and chases them. Jambo transforms into a train and carries the band. They chase the swarm.
