Jambo says, JASMINE, EVERY SONG IS THE PROPERTY OF EVERYONE. YOU CAN SING ANY SONG THAT TAKES YOUR FANCY, WHOSOEVER IT MAY BE.
Jasmine says, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! YIPPEE! I'LL MAKE A RECORD OF ME SINGING YOUR SONGS!
Jambo says, YOU KNOW, THAT WOULD BE A GREAT HONOUR.
In a radio station, Jasmine sits behind a microphone.
Jasmine says, GOOD MORNING, THIS IS SOUNDLAND RADIO, AND YOU'RE LISTENING TO JASMINE.

Jasmine pushes a button.

Jasmine, imitating Jambo, sings, WHICH STRING THEY'RE STRUNG WITH. SO MANY GAMES ARE PLAYED WITH BALLS, BUT YOU CAN'T PLAY AT ALL…
[Groaning, thunder rumbling, rain pattering]
Clouds cover the sun, and rain falls.
[Crying, sniffling, sad music plays, splashing]
Later, Jasmine sits on the shore and throws sharp signs in the water. She looks at Jambo’s record.
Jambo says, HEY, JASMINE, IT'S ME, JAMBO, THE REAL ONE.
Jasmine says, DON'T LAUGH, IT WAS A DISASTER. WHEN YOU SING THE SONG IT’S TOTALLY AMAZING, BUT WHEN I TRY TO SING IT, IT'S AWFUL.

[Cheerful music plays]

Jasmine sings, THERE ARE STRING INSTRUMENTS SO MANY AND MANY WAYS TO SING. IT'S THE NORMAL THING FOR DIFFERENT VOICES. JUST AS THERE ARE GROUPS OF NOTES, EVERY SINGER HAS A RANGE WHERE THEY HAVE NO STRAIN. SO, THEY SOUND MUCH BETTER.
A marching band of Lalalas walks past Jasmine as she dances beside a music note flag.
Jasmine sings, NO MATTER HOW HARD I'M TRYING OR HOW MUCH I LIKE A SONG, WHEN IT'S TOO HIGH OR LOW…OH NO, MY VOICE WILL SOUND ALL WRONG.
[Soft rock music continues]
On water, Jasmine relaxes on a floatie. Doodoowah windsurfs past her. On a motorboat, Doobeedoo watches Ta-Da waterski.
