In an animation, fluffy white clouds fill the sky above a town on a green hill.
A narrator says, IN THIS LITTLE TOWN
LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE,
HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND
THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY.
Cookie, Pudding and Candy are orange kittens with striped tails. Cookie, wearing a sailor hat, rides a boat. Pudding, wearing a stocking cap, is pulled off the ground by a kite. Candy, wearing a red bow, skips rope at the top of a small hill. Her brothers join her on the hill.
The narrator continues, LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE
HERE, TOO.
Other kittens join the siblings at the bottom of the hill and wave.
The narrator says, COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING.
KID-E-CATS.
The siblings smile.
Cookie and Pudding say, WE'RE CUTE!
Candy says, BUT I'M CUTER.
Together, the siblings say, ME-WOW!
The title reads, Kid-e-Cats.
The narrator reads the episode title.
They say, COOKIE’S STAR TURN.
[Gentle music plays]
Daddy drives Cookie, Candy and Pudding home. Cookie wears a blue helmet.
The narrator says, ONE DAY, DADDY AND THE
KITTENS CAME BACK HOME FROM A
TRIP TO THE PARK.
Cookie, Candy and Pudding jump out of the car. Cookie gets a scooter out of the trunk.
Cookie says, HAH!
He rides the scooter around the driveway.
Daddy says, THAT WAS A LOVELY TRIP,
KITTENS.
He closes the trunk.
Daddy says, I'LL GO LET MOMMY KNOW WE'RE
HOME.
He walks toward the house.
[Bicycle bell ringing]
Cupcake and Smudge ride bikes up the driveway.
They both say, HI THERE!
Cookie, Candy and Pudding says, HI THERE!
Smudge climbs off his bike.
He asks, WHERE'VE YOU BEEN?
Candy says, WE WENT TO THE PARK.
Cookie says, WHILE I WAS RIDING AROUND AT
THE SCOOTER PARK.
He rides his scooter in a figure 8 around Candy and Pudding.
Pudding says, COOKIE'S GOT REAL TALENT.
LOOK AT THESE AWESOME TRICKS HE
CAN DO!
He shows Smudge and Cupcake a video on his phone. In the video, Cookie rides his scooter up a half pipe.
Cookie says, HA-HA!
He rides his scooter on one wheel around pylons.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie rides up the other side of the half pipe.
Cupcake says, OH, WOW, COOKIE, YOU'RE
REALLY GOOD!
Pudding lowers his phone. Cookie leans against his scooter handlebar.
Smudge says, AWESOME!
CAN YOU SHOW US A TRICK NOW?
Cookie says, NOPE, BECAUSE THERE ISN'T
ANYTHING TO DO STUNTS ON HERE.
Pudding says, THERE'S THE PLAYGROUND!
YOU CAN DO SOME TRICKS THERE.
Candy says, OH, YES, SHOW EVERYBODY WHAT
YOU CAN DO, COOKIE!
Cookie says, I DON'T MIND SHOWING OFF MY
TALENT.
Cookie, Candy, and Pudding say, SO AWESOME!
Cookie and Pudding hold Candy’s paws, and they all wiggle their arms.
They cheer, ME-WOW, ME-WOW,
ME-WOW, ME-WOW!
Smudge says, WE'LL CALL EVERYONE AND TELL
THEM TO COME TO THE PLAYGROUND!
He and Cupcake leave on their bikes. Cookie looks at his scooter and frowns.
Cookie says, OH, MY SCOOTER NEEDS
CLEANING.
IT'S REALLY DUSTY.
Pudding says, WE'LL CLEAN IT.
YOU GO GET SOME REST.
Candy says, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED ALL YOUR
ENERGY FOR THE PERFORMANCE!
Cookie says, YOU'RE RIGHT, MY GREAT TALENT
NEEDS TO BE READY.
Beside a tree, Candy and Pudding clean Cookie’s scooter. Cookie relaxes in a lounge chair in the shade of the tree. He sips a drink.
The narrator says, BEING ABLE TO IMPRESS HIS
FRIENDS MADE COOKIE FEEL VERY
SPECIAL.
Cookie imagines being dropped off in a limousine onto a red carpet. He stands in front of a crowd with his scooter.
[Crowd cheering]
Cookie waves. He jumps on his scooter and rides down the red carpet.
Cookie says, HA-HA!
[Cookie chuckling]
The red carpet becomes a half-pipe. Cookie rides up it and down the half pipe.
Cookie says, WHOA!
He swings his scooter forward and back on the red carpet.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie flips through the air. The crowd takes pictures and throws flowers. Cookie waves.
[Cookie laughing]
In reality, Pudding carries Cookie’s scooter to the park. Candy speaks through a rolled-up newspaper. Cookie follows Pudding and Candy through the park.
Candy says, ATTENTION, ATTENTION!
YOU'RE ABOUT TO SEE OUR BROTHER
COOKIE PUT ON A SUPER COOL SHOW!
Cupcake, Chase, Smudge and Raisin stand by the park bench. Pudding puts Cookie’s scooter down in front of him.
[Cheerful music plays]
Cookie takes his scooter from Pudding and jumps on. Cookie rides the scooter backward on the front wheel.
Smudge says, WOW!
Chase says, WHOA!
Cookie hops onto the rim of the sandbox with his scooter.
Cookie says, OH!
HA-HA.
He rides around the rim.
[Cookie laughing]
[Clapping]
[Laughing]
Cookie hope over the seesaw handles. He rides his scooter back and forth across the seesaw.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie rides up and down the slide.
He says, OH!
Cookie rides his scooter backward on the front wheel back to the others. He turns the scooter and hops off.
[Clapping]
Chase says, WOW!
Candy and Pudding smile.
[Laughing]
Cookie says, THANKS A LOT.
DOING TRICKS ON THE PLAYGROUND
WORKS REALLY WELL, SO I THINK
I'M GOING TO PRACTICE OUT HERE
FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.
Everyone frowns.
Smudge says, ALL DAY?
BUT I WAS JUST ABOUT TO BUILD A
SANDCASTLE.
Cupcake says, AND I WAS GOING TO SKIP AND
PLAY HOPSCOTCH.
Cookie says, LISTEN, MY PRACTICING IS MORE
IMPORTANT THAN YOUR PLAYING.
I'VE GOT SOME REAL TALENT, YOU
KNOW.
Pudding says, COOKIE, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY
KITTEN HERE WITH TALENT.
Candy says, RAISIN IS GREAT AT DRAWING.
UH, CUPCAKE CAN SKIP AMAZINGLY.
CHASE CAN –
Cookie interrupts and says, THAT STUFF'S NOTHING.
Cupcake looks surprised.
Cookie says, MY TALENT IS WAY COOLER.
Cupcake glares at Cookie.
Cupcake says, WANNA ACT LIKE A BIG STAR?
YOU CAN PRACTICE ALL BY
YOURSELF.
She walks away.
Smudge says, I'M GOING HOME, TOO.
He and Chase leave.
Candy and Pudding say, SO ARE WE.
Candy puts down her rolled-up newspaper and leaves with Pudding. Raisin looks at Cookie and shrugs before walking away.
Cookie says, GO ON THEN!
I'LL BE JUST FINE WITHOUT YOU!
He angrily kicks the rolled-up newspaper and jumps on his scooter.
[Cheerful music plays]
Cookie does scooter tricks across the park. He rides his scooter around the rim of the sandbox and across the bench.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie rides his scooter around two poles.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie jumps off his scooter.
He says, HAH!
Cookie looks around the empty park and frowns.
He says, HM?
The narrator says, COOKIE SOON REALIZED THAT IT
FELT A LITTLE ODD JUST
PRACTICING ON HIS OWN WITH NO
FRIENDS AROUND.
Cookie walks across the park. He pulls his scooter behind him. A blue-feathered bird flies over Cookie.
[Rustling]
A mole digs itself out of the ground in front of Cookie. The bird lands close by.
Cookie says, OH, WATCH THIS!
I'LL DO A
COOL SCOOTER TRICK FOR YOU!
He steps onto his scooter.
[Cookie laughing]
Cookie rides his scooter up the slide. He falls off and drops his scooter over the slide ladder.
[Cookie gasping]
Cookie falls down the slide.
He grunts, OH…
The bird flies away. The mole ducks into its tunnel. Cookie’s scooter splashes into a big mud puddle.
[Splashing]
A frog hops away from the scooter and out of the mud. Cookie runs up to the mud puddle. His scooter sinks into the mud. The frog hops onto the scooter handlebar. Cookie reaches for his scooter.
The narrator says, COOKIE SOON SAW THAT THE
SCOOTER WAS OUT OF REACH, AND
THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND TO HELP
HIM.
Cookie walks to the other side of the mud puddle and reaches for his scooter. The mole digs itself out of the ground near the slide ladder. The blue-feathered bird lands near the mole.
[Frog croaking]
The narrator says, HE WAS ALL ALONE.
Boris walks over to Cookie with a backpack.
Boris says, COOKIE, I'M SORRY I'M LATE.
IT LOOKS LIKE I MISSED YOUR
SCOOTER PERFORMANCE!
Cookie says, MY SCOOTER ACCIDENTALLY FELL
IN THIS PUDDLE, AND I'M GOING TO
GET SUPER MUDDY WHEN I GET IT
OUT.
Boris says, NO NEED FOR THAT.
He takes off his backpack.
[Frog croaking]
Boris says, I'VE GOT THE STILTS HERE FROM MY
CLOWN COSTUME!
He pulls a pair of stilts out of his backpack. He extends their length.
Boris says, LOOK!
In the mud puddle, the frog glances at Boris. Boris walks through the mud on his stilts.
[Mud squelching]
[Frog croaking]
The frog hops off Cookie’s scooter onto the grass beside the mole. Boris pulls the scooter out of the mud and passes it to Cookie.
Cookie says, THAT IS SO AWESOME!
Boris walks out of the mud puddle on his stilts.
Cookie says, WHY HAVEN'T YOU TOLD EVERYBODY
YOU CAN WALK ON STILTS?
IT'S THE COOLEST.
THEY WOULD THINK YOU'RE THE
BEST!
Boris says, HEY, IT'S NO BIG DEAL.
EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING BETTER
THAN EVERYBODY ELSE.
He shakes mud off his stilts.
Boris says, THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE BETTER
THAN THE OTHERS.
He shortens his stilts and puts them back in his bag. Boris looks around.
Boris asks, WHERE IS EVERYONE?
Cookie says, THEY LEFT BECAUSE I WAS
ACTING LIKE I WAS BETTER THAN
THEM, BUT I HAVE A REALLY GOOD
IDEA!
Boris says, HANG ON, I THOUGHT ONLY CANDY
SAID THAT.
Cookie says, YEAH, BUT SHE'S NOT HERE!
I'LL HAVE TO FIX THIS MYSELF.
He rides away on his scooter past the frog, mole and blue-feathered bird. Later, at the park, Cookie stands on the bench. Boris, Cupcake, Chase, Smudge, Cookie, Candy and Raisin look up at him.
Cookie says, I'M SORRY THAT I ACTED LIKE SOME
KIND OF A BIG OLD STAR.
I'M NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE.
YOU'RE ALL TALENTED AND THE
PLAYGROUND IS HERE FOR ALL OF
US!
Everyone else cheers, SO AWESOME!
Cookie and Pudding hold Candy’s paws, and they all wiggle their arms.
They cheer, ME-WOW, ME-WOW,
ME-WOW, ME-WOW!
[Others clapping]
Everyone plays at the park. Cookie rides his scooter while Boris walks around on his stilts wearing an orange wig and red clown nose while juggling. Smudge builds a sandcastle in the sandbox, and Pudding plays chess on the bench. Candy plays her melodica, and Cupcake skips rope. Chase plays with a ball, and Raisin paints on a canvas. The blue-feathered bird stands on Raisin’s easel. The frog and mole watch Raisin from behind him.
The narrator says, COOKIE REALIZED THAT YOU CAN
BE GOOD AT SOMETHING, BUT IT
DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE BETTER THAN
SOMEONE ELSE.
EVERYONE IS TALENTED IN THEIR

Everyone plays at the park. Cookie rides his scooter while Boris walks around on his stilts wearing an orange wig and red clown nose while juggling. Smudge builds a sandcastle in the sandbox, and Pudding plays chess on the bench. Candy plays her melodica, and Cupcake skips rope. Chase plays with a ball, and Raisin paints on a canvas. The blue-feathered bird stands on Raisin’s easel. The frog and mole watch Raisin from behind him.
The narrator says, COOKIE REALIZED THAT YOU CAN
