[Cheerful music plays]

Black text on an orange background reads, “C.T.C. presents.” Lines of black and white dots extend from the text.

A path leads up a grassy hill to a town of brightly coloured houses. Cookie, an orange tabby, wears a blue striped shirt and a blue sailor hat with a picture of an anchor on it. Pudding, an orange tabby, wears a blue shirt and hat. Candy, an orange tabby, wears a red dress and bow.

[Upbeat music plays, birds chirp]

A narrator says, IN THIS LITTLE TOWN LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE, HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY. LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE HERE TOO.

Kittens wave happily.

The narrator says, COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING! KID-E-CATS!

Striped red text beneath Pudding, Candy and Cookie reads, “Kid-E-Cats.”

Cookie and Pudding say, WE'RE CUTE!

Candy says, BUT I'M CUTER!

All three say, ME-WOW!

Episode title: The Mobile Home.

[Chiming]

The narrator says, THE MOBILE HOME.

Fluffy blue clouds float in the blue sky above the Kid-E-Cats yellow two-storey house. In the driveway, the kittens and Mommy cat watch Daddy cat put luggage into the trunk of a taxi.

[Gentle music plays, trunk slamming]

The narrator says, ONE DAY, MOMMY WAS LEAVING TO ATTEND A FASHION DESIGNERS CONFERENCE FOR HER WORK.

Mommy cat says, I'LL ONLY BE GONE FOR FIVE DAYS. YOU BE GOOD FOR DADDY. BACK SOON!

Mommy cat kisses Daddy cat’s cheek.

[Smooching, birds singing]

The kittens say, BYE, BYE, MOMMY!

[Taxi motor rumbling]

Daddy cat says, BYE, BYE!

The taxi drives away.

[Whooshing, birds singing]

Daddy cat says, HMM, WHAT DO YOU SAY WE ALL TAKE OUR OWN LITTLE TRIP? MAYBE THE FIRST CUCUMBER FESTIVAL!

Candy asks, YOU MEAN WHERE YOU SEE THE FIRST CUCUMBER OF THE YEAR?

Daddy cat says, UH HUH!

[Chuckling]

Daddy cat says, IT'S A WONDERFUL FESTIVAL WITH LOTS OF FOOD AND RIDES AND FUN FOR EVERYONE!

[Happy music plays]

The kittens say, SO AWESOME.

They hold hands and sing, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW!

Daddy cat drives his red car on a two-lane highway.

[Upbeat music plays, car motor rumbling]

The narrator says, IT WOULD BE A LONG TRIP, NEARLY TWO DAYS BY CAR. SO, THEY ALL SET OFF LATER THAT MORNING.

Daddy cat’s seat bounces forward as he drives the car.

[Creaking, thumping]

Daddy cat says, HMM. OH. UH, COOKIE, PLEASE DON'T KICK MY SEAT. I'M TRYING TO DRIVE.

Cookie says, I'M SORRY, DADDY, BUT IT'S TAKING SO LONG TO GET THERE.

Pudding asks, DID YOU BRING SNACKS, DADDY?

Daddy cat gives Pudding a green bag.

[Rustling]

Daddy cat says, HERE YOU GO.

I BROUGHT AN APPLE FOR EACH OF YOU.

The kittens eat their apples in the backseat of the car. Everyone smiles.

[Car motor puttering, munching, crunching]

Daddy cat drives over a pothole, and Pudding drops his apple.

[Yelping, dramatic music plays]

Pudding says, OH, NO! THAT BUMP MADE ME DROP MY APPLE.

[Sobbing]

Candy says, DADDY, WE'VE BEEN DRIVING FOREVER. I'M SO TIRED.

Cookie and Pudding say, ME, TOO.

Daddy cat says, DON'T EXAGGERATE. WE'VE ONLY BEEN IN THE CAR FOR THREE HOURS.

Cookie says, BUT THAT IS FOREVER. AND IT'S SO BORING. AND MY SEATBELT'S GETTING ITCHY!

Candy says, MAYBE WE CAN STOP EVERY HOUR AND TAKE A FRESH AIR BREAK!

Candy imagines Daddy cat parking beside the road. The kittens jump out of the car and chase a pink butterfly.

[Slide whistle, laughing, shouting, playful music plays]

In the daydream, Daddy cat says, BUT IF WE DO THAT, WE'LL BE LATE FOR THE CUCUMBER FESTIVAL!

The kittens exit the car and run to the empty cucumber festival. Garbage blows across the ground.

[Wind gusting, slide whistle]

In reality, the kittens slump in the backseat of the car.

[Kittens groaning]

The narrator says, BUT THEN, DADDY NOTICED A SIGN FOR A MOBILE HOME RENTAL SHOP.

Daddy cat says, HMM, I JUST HAD A WONDERFUL IDEA.

At the rental shop, Daddy cat and the kittens follow a rental agent to a large mobile home.

[Birds chirping]

The rental agent says, SURE THIS ONE'S THE PERFECT MODEL FOR A TRIP WITH THE KIDDIES. WE'LL KEEP YOUR CAR HERE, AND YOU CAN PICK IT UP ON THE WAY BACK.

Cookie, Candy, and Pudding run into the mobile home. Daddy cat follows them.

Cookie says, HEY, LOOK, IT EVEN HAS BEDS!

Candy says, AND A TABLE, A TELEVISION AND A SOFA.

Pudding says, COOL, A BATHROOM. I'M FIRST.

[Bathroom door creaking, slamming]

Daddy cat says, MOBILE HOMES HAVE ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME, EXCEPT YOU'RE ON THE ROAD.

Through the bathroom wall, Pudding shouts, HEY, THIS BATHROOM IS EVEN BIGGER THAN THE ONE AT HOME!

[Everyone laughing]

Daddy cat starts the mobile home, puts on sunglasses, and drives back onto the two-lane highway.

[Engine revving, birds sing, lively music plays]

The kittens sing, WE'RE RIDING IN A MOBILE HOME, OUR HOME IS ON THE ROAD. WE'VE GOT SO MANY THINGS TO SEE IN OUR PORTABLE ABODE.

Cookie sings, PAST MOUNTAINS HIGHER THAN THE SKY, DOWN VALLEYS GREEN AND LOW. WE'RE HEADED FOR ADVENTURE.

The kittens sing, YEAH, YOU BET WE'RE GOOD TO GO.

The kittens wear seatbelts as they colour at a table.

The kittens sing, WE'VE GOT GAMES AND CRAYONS, TOO. LIKE THIS ONE IN GREEN. WITH OUR DADDY AT THE WHEEL, WE'RE SAFE AS THEY SAFE BE!

Heavy rain falls. In the mobile home. Candy watches the rain through a window. Beside her, Pudding and Cookie watch the television.

[Rain pattering]

The kittens sing, THE WEATHER DOESN'T MATTER 'CAUSE WHEREVER WE MAY ROAM, IN RAIN OR SUNSHINE OR IN SNOW, WE'VE ALWAYS GOT A PLACE TO GO!

[Daddy cat yawning]

Cookie sings, THERE IS ONE THING THAT WE KNOW.

The kittens sing, WE LOVE OUR MOBILE HOME!

At night, the mobile home is parked at a roadside campsite. Candy lies on the couch. Cookie and Pudding sleep in a bunk bed, with Cookie on top.

[Insects chittering]

Candy says, AHH... BEING ON A ROAD TRIP IS JUST SO AMAZING! YOU CAN SEE ALL KINDS OF THINGS!

Cookie says, UH HUH! I LOVE IT!

Pudding says, IT'S SO COMFY!

Pudding stretches.

Pudding says, AHH...

The light in the mobile home turns off.

[Clicking, insects chittering]

Night turns to day, and Daddy cat drives on the highway.

[Upbeat music plays]

The narrator says, THE NEXT MORNING, DADDY AND THE KITTENS CONTINUED ON THEIR WAY.

Daddy cat says, THE FIRST CUCUMBER FESTIVAL IS JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY! HMM, MAYBE I TOOK A WRONG TURN SOMEWHERE. THERE SHOULD BE A FIELD HERE, BUT I'M AFRAID I DON'T SEE IT ANYWHERE.

[Engine puttering]

Cookie asks, YOU MEAN WE'RE LOST, DADDY?

Pudding asks, DOES THAT MEAN WE'LL BE LATE FOR THE FESTIVAL?

[Whimpering]

Daddy cat turns around. A blue cat standing by a red pickup truck on the side of the road jumps up and down. Daddy cat stops the mobile home. The blue farmer runs to the driver's door of the mobile home. He wears a straw hat, green overalls, and a red plaid shirt and carries a cucumber in a jar labelled with a number one.

[Tires screeching]

The farmer says, GOOD AFTERNOON!

The kittens say, GOOD AFTERNOON!

Daddy cat says, HI THERE!

[Engine puttering]

The farmer says, MY TRUCK BROKE DOWN BACK THERE. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD GIVE ME AND MY FRIEND A RIDE.

Daddy cat says, WHY, SURE I CAN. GET IN! IS YOUR FRIEND NEARBY?

The farmer says, SURE, HE'S RIGHT HERE. SAY HI TO THE SEASON'S VERY FIRST CUCUMBER.

[Harp chord plays]

Cookie asks, YOU MEAN THAT'S THE ONE?

The farmer says, THE VERY ONE. HE'S THE REASON FOR THE FESTIVAL.

Daddy cat says, HOW FORTUNATE THAT WE MET YOU. WE WERE ON OUR WAY THERE, BUT WE GOT LOST. MAYBE YOU COULD SHOW US THE WAY TO GO.

At the festival, the farmer stands on a stage with Daddy cat and the kittens. Above them, a banner has an image of a cucumber and the number one. Everyone wears a hat shaped like one end of a cucumber.

[Trumpet fanfare plays, birds chirping]

The farmer says, FRIENDS, I HEREBY PRESENT THIS HONOR TO THESE WONDERFUL LITTLE KITTENS AND THEIR FATHER FOR GETTING ME AND MY CUCUMBER TO THE FESTIVAL TODAY.

[Crowd cheering]

Daddy cat says, WE NOW DECLARE THIS FESTIVAL...

Daddy cat and the kittens say, ...OFFICIALLY OPEN!

[Crowd cheering, upbeat music plays]

Cookie says, I WISH MOMMY COULD BE HERE WITH US AT THE FESTIVAL.

Candy says, WE CAN STILL SHARE THE DAY WITH HER. WE'LL TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES, OKAY?

[Happy music plays]

The kittens say, SO AWESOME.

They hold hands and sing, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW!

Photographs show the kittens and Daddy cat on the stage, Daddy cat and Candy and Cookie buying cucumbers, and the kittens riding in pickle-shaped cars around a carousel.

[Camera lens snapping]

The narrator says, AND SO, THE KITTENS ENJOYED THE FESTIVAL, TOOK LOTS OF PICTURES, AND TOLD MOMMY ALL ABOUT THE FUN OF RIDING IN A MOBILE HOME.

[Upbeat music plays]
