The kittens jump up and down. In their parents’ bedroom, Mommy cat sits up in the bed. Her lamp and clock bounce on her night table. Pictures bounce on the walls as Mommy cat walks to the kittens’ bedroom.
[Rattling, grunting, snoring, thumping]
[Clattering, panting]
At the doorway, Mommy cat says, DEAR KITTENS, WHAT IS HAPPENING? IT'S TOO EARLY FOR WORKING OUT.
Pudding pants, WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT UNCLE MUFFIN'S VISIT, AND WE CAN'T SLEEP AT ALL.
[Mommy cat chuckling]
Mommy cat says, THAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT SOMETHING BIG, BUT IT HELPS TO KEEP YOUR MIND ON THINGS THAT ARE MORE RESTFUL.

Candy dreams she flies using sparkling pink butterfly wings. She wears a crown and holds a magic wand.

In reality, Mommy cat sings, OH, WE'LL DREAM ABOUT THE HOME WE SHARE, HOW IT'S WONDERFUL AND WARM THERE. SO, IT'S TIME TO CLOSE YOUR EYES UNDERNEATH THE STARRY SKIES. TIME TO GO TO SLEEP NOW.
Pudding dreams of sailing with Cookie as pirates. Candy flutters around the ship with her butterfly wings.

The kittens run downstairs. Daddy cat opens the front door, and Uncle Muffin enters, carrying a green duffel bag.

Daddy cat says, HEY, THERE, BROTHER.
Uncle Muffin says, HI, THERE.
Daddy cat and Uncle Muffin hug.
[Door slamming]
Daddy cat says, OH, AND HERE COME THE LITTLE ONES.
The kittens say, UNCLE MUFFIN'S HERE!
