[Cheerful music plays]

Black text on an orange background reads, “C.T.C. presents.” Lines of black and white dots extend from the text.

A path leads up a grassy hill to a town of brightly coloured houses. Cookie, an orange tabby, wears a blue striped shirt and a blue sailor hat with a picture of an anchor on it. Pudding, an orange tabby, wears a blue shirt and hat. Candy, an orange tabby, wears a red dress and bow.

[Upbeat music plays, birds chirp]

A narrator says, IN THIS LITTLE TOWN LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE, HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY. LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE HERE TOO.

Kittens wave happily.

The narrator says, COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING! KIDECATS!

Striped red text beneath Pudding, Candy and Cookie reads, “KidECats.”

Cookie and Pudding say, WE'RE CUTE!

Candy says, BUT I'M CUTER!

All three say, MEWOW!

Fluffy blue clouds float in the blue sky above the Kid-E-Cats yellow two-storey house.

Episode title: Spy Kitties.

[Chiming]

The narrator says, ONE DAY, THE KITTENS WERE WATCHING A SPY FILM ON TELEVISION.

In the living room, the kittens watch their television. On the screen, a blue spy cat dressed in a trench coat and bowler sneaks past a cat dressed in a green uniform. The spy cat types a passcode into a vault and opens it. They pick up an envelope and a red light flashes. The spy climbs a ladder and runs to the roof of the building. They grab a rope ladder on a waiting helicopter and fly away.

[Suspenseful music plays, whooshing, footsteps, alarm blaring, helicopter whirring, slide whistle]

Cookie exclaims, WOW, SPIES ARE SO AWESOME, RIGHT?! THEY GET TO UNCOVER SECRETS, AND THEIR CLOTHES ARE SUPER COOL!

Candy says, LET'S PRETEND WE'RE SPIES, OKAY?

Pudding says, HEY, YEAH, WE'LL WEAR DARK GLASSES SO NO ONE RECOGNIZES US!

[Happy music plays]

The kittens say, SO AWESOME.

They hold hands and sing, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW!

In the kittens’ bedroom, Cookie puts on sunglasses.

[Clicking]

Cookie asks, AWESOME, DO I LOOK LIKE A SPY?

Candy says, YEAH, YOU REALLY DO!

Candy and Pudding put on sunglasses.

[Clicking, upbeat musical notes play]

Pudding says, UH, SO, WHAT'S OUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT?

Cookie says, WELL, WE NEED TO FIND SOMEONE TO SPY ON AND THEN FIND OUT WHAT THEIR SECRETS ARE.

The narrator says, SO THE KITTENS DECIDED TO SPY ON DADDY.

The kittens run to the kitchen doorway and peek inside. On the way, Cookie grabs a hat and puts it on. In the kitchen, Daddy cat rummages in the refrigerator.

[Rustling, Daddy cat humming, upbeat music plays]

Pudding whispers, SECRET NUMBER ONE, I THINK DADDY IS HUNGRY.

[Giggling, doorbell ringing, chuckling]

Daddy cat looks at his sandwich and then glances at the door.

Daddy cat says, HUH?

[Groaning]

Daddy cat puts the sandwich back into the refrigerator.

[Clicking, slide whistle]

Candy says, INTERESTING, WHO IS AT THE DOOR?

Cookie says, LET'S GO FIND OUT, BUT STAY HIDDEN LIKE REAL SPIES!

The kittens follow Daddy cat and hide behind a cabinet in the foyer.

[Suspenseful music plays, footsteps pattering, door clicking, squeaking]

A courier says, SPECIAL DELIVERY, MISTER.

[Envelope rustling]

Daddy cat says, AH, YES, I'VE BEEN EXPECTING THIS, THANKS VERY MUCH.

Pudding says COOKIE, MOVE OVER! I CAN'T SEE.

[Grunting]

Daddy cat says, HMM?

The kittens push each other and tumble out of their hiding place.

[Grunting, arguing, thumping]

Daddy cat says, UH, HEY, KITTENS. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? AND WHY ARE YOU ALL WEARING DARK SUNGLASSES?

Cookie says, WE WERE PRETENDING WE WERE AT THE BEACH!

Pudding says, DADDY, WHO WAS AT THE DOOR?

Daddy cat says, UH, WHO WAS WHERE? AT THE DOOR? IT WAS THE WRONG ADDRESS.

Daddy cat hides the envelope behind his back.

[Envelope rustling, Daddy cat chuckling nervously]

Candy says, THE WRONG ADDRESS? BUT HE LEFT DADDY AN ENVELOPE!

Cookie and Pudding say, HEY, YEAH!

Cookie says, DADDY HID IT BEHIND HIS BACK. IT'S LIKE HE'S TRYING TO KEEP IT A BIG SECRET! THIS IS A REAL MYSTERY.

Pudding says, LET'S DO SOME MORE SPYING.

The kittens sneak across the room. Daddy cat carries a jar of strawberry jam out of the basement. He closes the trapdoor and walks away, not noticing the kittens hiding behind it.

[Creaking, suspenseful music plays]

Cookie says, WELL, THAT'S FUNNY. DADDY CAME UPSTAIRS WITHOUT THE ENVELOPE!

Pudding says, HE MUST HAVE HIDDEN IT IN THE BASEMENT. LET'S INVESTIGATE!

The kittens sneak into the dark basement. Pudding turns on the light.

[Clicking]

Cookie says, LOOK, HERE IT IS! NOW TO OPEN IT AND SEE WHAT'S HIDING INSIDE.

Candy says, NO, COOKIE, WHAT IF WHATEVER IS INSIDE IS A SECRET WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW?

Cookie says, BUT THIS IS A CLUE! AND WE ARE SUPER SPIES, RIGHT?

Pudding says, BUT WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO DADDY BECAUSE WE WERE SPYING? THAT HAPPENS IN MOVIES. MAYBE WE SHOULDN'T.

Candy says, I'VE GOT A GREAT IDEA. LET'S GO UPSTAIRS AND ASK MOMMY.

The kittens take the envelope to Mommy cat’s office. Inside, they find Daddy cat standing behind Mommy cat. She types on her computer.

[Typing, gasping]

Daddy cat says, WELL, SWEETIE, THE COURIER DROPPED IT OFF. THE KITTENS WERE A LITTLE SUSPICIOUS, BUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO KEEP IT A SECRET.

Mommy cat says, WELL DONE, DARLING.

[Kittens gasping]

Candy says, MOMMY KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT!

Cookie says, THEY'RE BOTH KEEPING A SECRET FROM US!

Pudding says, MAYBE MOMMY AND DADDY ARE...

[Kittens gasping]

Pudding says, REAL UNDERCOVER SPIES, LIKE IN THE MOVIES!

He imagines Daddy and Mommy cat dressed in trench coats, hats, and sunglasses on the roof of a building. They escape on a rope ladder dangling from a helicopter.

[Slide whistles, helicopter whirring]

Mommy cat whispers, WHAT TIME ARE WE LEAVING?

Daddy cat whispers, TOMORROW AT 10 O'CLOCK, JUST DON'T FORGET THE TICKETS.

Candy asks, LEAVING? BUT WHERE ARE THEY GOING?

Cookie says, THESE MUST BE THEIR TICKETS!

[Ticking]

Pudding says, THEY MUST HAVE A NEW MISSION!

The kittens run to their parents.

Pudding says, MOMMY! DADDY!

Candy says, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!

Daddy cat says, AWW, KITTENS, WHAT'S THE MATTER, WHY ARE YOU SO UPSET?

Pudding says, WE SAW IT ALL, YOU'RE BOTH SECRET SPIES AND YOU HAVE A NEW MISSION!

Cookie says, WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO GO AWAY, WE KNOW YOUR TICKETS ARE IN HERE!

Cookie gives Daddy cat the envelope.

The kittens beg, PLEASE DON'T GO AWAY!

[Mommy cat chuckling]

Mommy cat says, NOW DON'T BE SILLY, YOU'VE BEEN WATCHING TOO MUCH TELEVISION, I THINK. WE'RE NOT SPIES, AND THESE ARE TICKETS TO THE FUN NEW WATER PARK.

Mommy takes tickets out of the envelope.

[Rustling, clock ticking]

The kittens repeat, WATER PARK?

Daddy cat says, YEAH, I MUST HAVE LEFT THEM IN THE BASEMENT WHEN I WENT DOWN TO GET THE JAM FOR MOMMY.

Mommy cat says, DADDY AND I WANTED IT TO BE A NICE SURPRISE.

The kittens ask, REALLY?

Daddy cat says, SURPRISE, KITTENS! YOU KNOW, WE DO HAVE A MISSION AFTER ALL. OUR MISSION IS TO HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS POSSIBLE.

Daddy cat takes his hat off Cookie’s head and puts it on.

[Slide whistle, Daddy cat laughing, kittens laughing]

[Happy music plays]

The kittens say, SO AWESOME.

They hold hands and sing, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW, MEWOW!

The next day at the water park, Cookie slides down into a pool of water. Nearby, Pudding and Candy relax in a second poo. Mommy and Daddy cat sit on beach chairs on the sand.

[Splashing]

The narrator says, AND SO THE KITTENS LEARNED THAT SOME SECRETS ARE REALLY JUST SURPRISES, AND THAT SURPRISES CAN BE LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN.

[Upbeat music plays]
