[Spaceship whirring]
The people shout, Bot!
Inside the spaceship, a silver robot with two eyes and a blue circle nose lies in pieces.
The people shout, Bot!
The robot wakes up and puts itself together. The robot stands on three wheels.
The people shout, BEASTY OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER!
The people read the title, BOT AND THE BEASTIES!
[Energetic music plays]
[Horn honking]
Different Beasties knock over the title.
The people shout, BEASTIES COME!
AND BEASTIES GO!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
OH NO!
A flying, yellow Beasty with an orange, triangle tail and green spots flies in a circle.
[Beasty buzzing]
A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS
BEASTY?
The Beasty flies away.
The narrator says, BOT, THIS IS YOUR MISSION!
Bot’s nose turns red.
[Bot whirring]
The narrator says, DETECT BEASTY.
COLLECT SOUND DATA.
Bot’s nose turns yellow, then orange.
The narrator says, COLLECT PICTURE DATA.
Bot’s nose turns green. An opening appears in the floor, and Bot hovers over it.
The narrator says, GO!
Bot‘s nose turns blue. Bot drops through the opening.
[Gentle music plays]
[Wind gusting]
A pastel sky glows over a sandy world with slanted boulders and hills.
The narrator says CRAGGY SANDY WORLD.
[Whirring]
Bot drops through an opening in the sky of Craggy Sandy World.
[Bot whirring]
Bot briefly hovers over the sand and then drops onto the ground beside the orange and yellow Beasty hanging from a vine.
[Clanging]
[Bot whirring]
Bot pops up onto three wheels.
[Rattling]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns red.
The narrator whispers, BEASTY DETECTED!
[Rattling]
Bot watches the Beasty shake on the vine. The Beasty wakes up and shakes its tail. Bot rolls closer to the Beasty.
[Bot whirring]
[Rattling]
The Beasty swings back and forth on the vine. Bot leans side to side on its wheels, and the Beasty breaks off the vine.
The narrator says, UH-OH!
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty falls in the sand.
[Wheels squeaking]
The Beasty glances at Bot.
[Bot whirring]
Bot aims its picture data collection camera at the Beasty. The Beasty wiggles, and the ground shakes.
[Rattling]
Bot stumbles, and the Beasty flies into the air. The Beasty leaves a trail of seeds on the ground, and they grow into vine plants.
The narrator says, OH!
Bot watches the Beasty whiz around the air.
[Buzzing]
The narrator says, WHIZZING.
[Buzzing]
The Beasty whizzes over Bot.
[Buzzing]
[Bot whirring]
Bot raises its camera toward the Beasty, and the Beasty flies away.
[Bot whirring]
The narrator says, OH, DEAR.
Bot swaps the camera for its sound data collection speaker and raises it toward the Beasty.
[Speaker feedback]
The Beasty flies into the speaker. With its long nose caught in the speaker, the Beasty pulls Bot off the ground.
The narrator says, OH, NO!
The Beasty whizzes through the air with Bot.
[Buzzing]
Bot flips onto the Beasty’s head and aims the speaker at the Beasty.
[Beeping]
Bot plays back a recording.
[Buzzing]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns yellow and then orange.
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED!
Bot swaps the speaker for the camera. The Beasty zooms higher, and Bot hangs upside down.
[Buzzing]
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty shakes and makes Bot shake.
[Bot rattling]
Bot’s parts break apart and fall. The Beasty flies away.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty zooms under Bot and knocks Bot’s parts into the vine plants below.
[Bot whirring]
A flock of orange and yellow Beasties grow out of the plants and lift Bot’s parts. The Beasties hang from vines and knock Bot into the air. Bot puts itself back together and drops to the ground beside the flock of growing Beasties.
[Bot whirring]
The flock of Beasties break free from the vines.
The narrator says, OH, NO!
The Beasties fall around Bot, and sand billows around them. Bot peaks out from behind one of the Beasties.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasties glance at Bot and start wiggling. The ground shakes, and the Beasties fly into the air. They leave seeds on the ground that grow into Beasty vine plants.
The narrator says, OH, THAT’S BETTER.
The flock of Beasties join the Beasty in the air.
[Buzzing]
Bot stretches high into the air toward the flock of Beasties, whizzing around in circles.
The narrator says, WHIZZING.
[Bot squeaking]
Bot aims the data collection camera at the Beasties. The Beasties fly into Bot.
[Bot beeping]
The Beasties whizz around the air with Bot.
[Buzzing]
The Beasties fly closer to the ground near a tall boulder. Bot hits the boulder.
[Clanging]
Hanging upside down, Bot takes pictures of the Beasties.
[Camera clicking]
The Beasties fly higher with Bot.
[Camera clicking]
The Beasties split up. The Beasties drop Bot.
[Camera clicking]
Bot lands among another herd of Beasties growing in the sand.
[Bot whirring]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns green.
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED!
[Whirring]
An opening appears in the pastel sky.
[Bot whirring]
Bot hovers in the growing herd of Beasties.
The narrator says, ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR...
Bot flies out of the herd as the growing Beasties wiggle in the sand.
[Rattling]
The narrator says, SPOTTY WHIZZER!
The growing Beasties, Spotty Whizzers, burst out of the sand and leave seeds scattered across the ground. They join the other Spotty Whizzers whizzing around the air.
[Buzzing]
Bot flies toward the opening in the sky and swerves around the many Spotty Whizzers.
[Frantic music plays]
Bot flies through the opening.
The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE!
A Spotty Whizzer flies in a loop.
[Buzzing]
[Cheerful music plays]
In the spaceship, a screen shows pictures of Spotty Whizzers.
