People shout, Bot!
A grey spaceship with red, yellow, and green lights zooms through space.
[Spaceship whirring]
The people shout, Bot!
Inside the spaceship, a silver robot with two eyes and a blue circle nose lies in pieces.
The people shout, Bot!
The robot wakes up and puts itself together. The robot stands on three wheels.
The people shout, BEASTY OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER!
The people read the title, BOT AND THE BEASTIES!
[Energetic music plays]
[Horn honking]
Multiple Beasties knock over the title.
The people shout, BEASTIES COME!
AND BEASTIES GO!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
OH NO!
A large, green, scowling Beasty with a tail walks on four legs with a duck on its back.
A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS
BEASTY?
[Duck quacking]
[Beasty grunting]
The scowling Beasty walks away.
The narrator says, BOT, THIS IS YOUR MISSION!
Bot’s nose turns red.
[Bot whirring]
The narrator says, DETECT BEASTY.
COLLECT SOUND DATA.
Bot’s nose turns yellow, then orange.
The narrator says, COLLECT PICTURE DATA.
B.O.T’s nose turns green. An opening appears in the floor, and Bot hovers over it.
The narrator says, GO!
Bot‘s nose turns blue. Bot drops through the opening.
[Gentle music plays]
[Wind gently gusting]
Water ripples around icebergs under a pink pastel sky.
The narrator says SNOWY ICY WORLD.
[Whirring]
Bot drops through an opening in the sky of Snowy Icy World into a pile of snow.
[Bot whirring]
Bot looks around.
[Grunting]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns red.
The narrator whispers, BEASTY DETECTED!
The green, four-legged Beasty walks over to Bot.
[Beasty grunting]
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty glances at the duck on its back and starts pushing Bot’s pile of snow away with its face.
The narrator says, SHOVING!
Bot pops up onto three wheels on top of the snow pile. Bot stumbles off the pile and falls head-first into the snow below. The Beasty’s teeth chatter.
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty continues pushing the pile of snow. The Beasty pushes Bot with the snow.
The narrator says, SHOVING.
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty shivers.
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
Bot reaches out of the snow with its sound data collection speaker and aims it at the Beasty.
[Speaker feedback]
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
Bot pops out of the snow.
[Bot whirring]
[Speaker beeping]
Bot plays back a recording.
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns yellow and then orange.
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED!
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty glances at the duck glaring at Bot.
[Beasty grunting]
Bot hops out of the snow and rolls down the pile.
[Wheels squeaking]
The Beasty pushes the pile of snow and follows Bot.
[Bot whirring]
Bot glances at the Beasty. Snow gathers in the Beasty’s pile as the Beasty continues pushing it across the ground.
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty takes a step back, rams the large pile of snow, and pushes it further.
[Wheels squeaking]
Bot turns toward the Beasty and raises its picture data collection camera. Bot rolls into a small pile of snow. The Beasty shoves its pile of snow into the small pile.
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty takes a few steps back. Bot pops up from the small snow pile.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty pushes itself against the pile of snow and continues shoving it across the ground.
The narrator says, SHOVING!
The Beasty reaches a small hill and shoves the snow over the edge with Bot in the centre.
[Beasty grunting]
[Duck quacking]
The pile of snow rolls into a ball as it speeds down the hill.
The narrator says, OH, NO!
The Beasty runs after the ball of snow. At the bottom of the hill, the Beasty pauses.
[Beasty panting]
The Beasty continues chasing after the ball of snow. The ball rolls to a stop. The Beasty reaches the snowball and looks at Bot.
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty shoves the snowball with its nose.
The narrator says, SHOVING!
The Beasty shoves the snowball over the edge of a snowy cliff.
[Bot whirring]
The snowball rolls up the side of another cliff with Bot still inside. The snowball rolls into the air. The Beasty runs after the snowball. Between the cliffs, the snowball lands on top of the Beasty.
[Snow splatting]
Bot stands on top of the snow piled on the Beasty.
The narrator says, OH, DEAR!
The pile of snow shakes.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty shakes off the snow, and Bot lands on the Beasty’s head. The Beasty shakes.
[Teeth chattering]
Bot aims its camera at the Beasty. Bot’s mechanical arm shakes with the Beasty.
[Duck quacking]
Bot and the Beasty glance at the duck.
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty steps back, and Bot falls off.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty walks backward up the cliff.
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty walks down the cliff and shoves the small piles of snow.
[Beasty grunting]
Bot aims its camera at the Beasty. The Beasty shoves Bot and the snow up the other cliff.
[Bot whirring]
Away from the cliff, Bot rolls through the snow ahead of the Beasty.
[Wheels squeaking]
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty shoves the growing pile of snow with its shoulder. Bot rolls off another cliff.
The narrator says, UH, OH.
[Bot whirring]
Bot falls down the side of the cliff toward steam billowing out of a hot spring.
[Bot whirring]
Bot spreads its wheels around the edges of the hot spring.
[Duck quacking]
Bot looks up. At the top of the cliff, the Beasty shivers. The duck hops on the Beasty’s back.
[Teeth chattering]
[Duck quacking]
The duck climbs up the pile of snow and looks down toward Bot.
[Duck quacking]
The duck jumps on the Beasty’s back.
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty shoves the pile of snow off the cliff.
[Beasty grunting]
[Bot whirring]
Bot springs into the air and away from the falling snow. The pile of snow lands in the hot spring. Bot lands on the snow.
[Squeaking]
The snow melts under Bot.
[Bot whirring]
[Sizzling]
At the top of the cliff, the Beasty grins.
[Beasty grunting happily]
The hot spring fills with the melting snow. Bot sinks toward the water as the remaining snow melts.
[Bot whirring]
[Beasty grunting]
[Duck quacking]
The Beasty leaps off the edge of the cliff.
[Bot whirring]
[Beasty grunting happily]
Bot takes pictures of the Beasty falling toward the hot spring.
[Camera clicking]
The Beasty falls on Bot, and they splash into the hot spring.
[Splashing]
[Bot beeping]
Underwater, a green light flashes.
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED!
[Whirring]
An opening appears in the pastel sky. Bot flies out of the hot spring with its nose now green.
The narrator says, ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR,
SNOWY SHOVER!
The Beasty, the Snowy Shover, and the duck rise from underwater.
[Snowy Shover grunting happily]
[Whirring]
The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE!
Bot flies through the opening in the sky. In the hot spring, the Snowy Shover blows bubbles in the water.
The narrator sighs, AH, THAT’S BETTER.
[Duck quacking]
The Snowy Shover and the duck relax.
[Quacking]
Other Snowy Shovers with ducks on their backs run and jump in the hot spring.
[Splashing]
[Snowy Shovers grunting happily]
The Snowy Shovers close their eyes.
[Cheerful music plays]
In the spaceship, a screen shows pictures of the Snowy Shover.
