Inside the spaceship, a silver robot with two eyes and a blue circle nose lies in pieces.
The people shout, Bot!
The robot wakes up and puts itself together. The robot stands on three wheels.
The people shout, BEASTY OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER!
The people read the title, BOT AND THE BEASTIES!
[Energetic music plays]
[Horn honking]
Different Beasties knock over the title.
The people shout, BEASTIES COME!
AND BEASTIES GO!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
BEASTIES, BEASTIES!
OH NO!
A tall, orange Beasty that walks on two feet gazes at their hair styled in a wavy updo.
[Beasty grunting happily]
A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS BEASTY?
The orange Beasty smiles and walks away.
The narrator says, BOT, THIS IS YOUR MISSION!
Bot’s nose turns red.
[Bot whirring]
The narrator says, DETECT BEASTY. COLLECT SOUND DATA.
Bot’s nose turns yellow, then orange.
The narrator says, COLLECT PICTURE DATA.
B.O.T’s nose turns green. An opening appears in the floor, and Bot hovers over it.
The narrator says, GO!
Bot‘s nose turns blue. Bot drops through the opening.
[Birds chirping]
[Wind softly gusting]
Dry grass covers the ground in a world with giant boulders, small rocks and a purple and blue pastel sky.
The narrator says, ROCKY GRASSY WORLD.
[Whirring]
Bot drops through an opening in the pastel sky of Rocky Grassy World. A gust of wind blows the dry grass below.
[Wind gusting]
Bot lands in the grass and pops up onto three wheels.
[Clanging]
[Beeping]
[Squeaking]
[Happy grunting]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns red.
The narrator says, BEASTY DETECTED!
Bot spots the wavy-haired Beasty smiling at its hair. The Beasty’s hair sparkles.
[Twinkling]
The narrator says, WAVY!
[Happy grunting]
A strand of hair splits apart from the Beasty’s updo, and the Beasty frowns. The Beasty fixes its hair and smiles.
The narrator says, WAVY!
[Happy grunting]
Bot takes pictures of the Beasty with its picture data collection camera.
[Camera clicking]
The Beasty smiles at Bot.
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns yellow and then orange.
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED!
Bot puts the camera away.
[Bot whirring]
Bot looks at the Beasty. A gust of wind blows Bot and the Beasty forward. The Beasty’s wavy updo separates, and the Beasty frowns.
[Wind gusting]
The narrator says, WINDY!
The Beasty fixes its hair. Another gust of wind ruins it.
[Wind gusting]
[Beasty grunting]
The narrator says, WINDY!
The Beasty fixes their hair. Another gust of wind blows sticks into the Beasty’s hair.
[Wind gusting]
The Beasty fixes its hair.
[Beasty grunting happily]
The Beasty smiles.
[Bot whirring]
Bot aims its sound data collection speaker at the Beasty.
[Speaker feedback]
A gust of wind blows Bot off its wheels and knocks the Beasty forward.
The narrator says, WINDY!
[Wind gusting]
Bot grabs onto a rock with its wheels.
[Bot whirring]
The Beasty stumbles toward Bot.
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty trips, and the rock falls onto Bot.
The narrator says, OH, NO!
The Beasty stands up.
[Beasty grunting]
Lying on the ground, Bot watches the Beasty knock leaves and sticks out of its hair. The Beasty flips their hair back into its wavy updo and smiles.
[Beasty grunting happily]
The narrator says, WAVY!
Bot stands on its wheels and aims the speaker at the Beasty.
[Bot squeaking]
[Speaker feedback]
A gust of wind blows Bot and the Beasty forward.
[Wind gusting]
The wind blows Bot off a cliff. Bot grabs onto the ledge with its wheels. The Beasty stumbles toward Bot with its hair over its eyes.
[Beasty grunting]
[Wind gusting]
The Beasty walks into Bot and knocks Bot off the ledge.
The narrator says, OH, NO!
Bot falls, and the Beasty walks off the cliff.
[Beasty yelping]
Bot gracefully lands on its wheels at the bottom of the cliff.
[Bot squeaking]
The Beasty lands on top of Bot with its hair sticking straight up on its head.
[Bot whirring]
Bot wiggles out from under the Beasty and aims the speaker at the Beasty.
[Speaker feedback]
[Beasty grunting]
The Beasty tries to fix its hair, and it springs upright.
[Beasty grunting]
The narrator says, UH-OH!
The Beasty glares at its hair.
[Beasty grumbling]
[Speaker beeping]
Bot plays back a recording.
[Beasty grumbling]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose flashes yellow.
[Bot squeaking]
The narrator says, NO!
Bot puts the speaker away and glances at the Beasty. The Beasty grabs at its hair.
[Beasty grumbling]
Bot rolls ahead of the Beasty with the speaker as the Beasty struggles with its hair.
[Squeaking]
A gust of wind blows Bot and the Beasty forward.
[Wind gusting]
[Beasty yelping]
[Bot whirring]
The wind stops and Bot aims the speaker at the Beasty. The Beasty starts to fix its hair, and another gust of wind blows Bot and the Beasty away. Bot hits a tall boulder and falls into a pile of sticks.
[Wind gusting]
[Bangling]
[Bot whirring]
Covered in sticks and leaves, another gust of wind blows the Beasty into the boulder. Bot leaps away from the Beasty.
[Wind gusting]
[Banging]
The Beasty glances at the sticks in its hair.
[Beasty grumbling]
The Beasty frowns and shakes away the sticks. The sticks land in a pile on Bot.
[Bot whirring]
Bot adds the sticks to the pile behind the Beasty and makes a wall of sticks. The Beasty adjusts its hair and smiles.
[Beasty grunting]
Bot aims its speaker at the Beasty.
[Speaker feedback]
[Beasty grunting happily]
The Beasty styles its hair into a wavy updo.
The narrator says, WAVY!
The wall of sticks blocks a gust of wind.
[Wind gusting]
Bot plays back a recording.
[Speaker beeping]
[Beasty grunting happily]
[Bot beeping]
Bot’s nose turns yellow and then orange.
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED!
[Whirring]
An opening appears in the sky.

A gust of wind blows two large leaves into Bot as Bot flies toward the opening in the sky.
[Whirring]
The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE!
Bot shakes the leaves off and flies through the opening. The leaves land on the tall boulder and the pile of leaves, making a roof over the Beasty, the Wavy Wig. The Wavy Wig relaxes against the pile of sticks. The wind blows around the Wavy Wig.
[Wavy Wig grunting happily]
[Wind gusting]
[Cheerful music plays]
In the spaceship, a screen shows pictures of the Wavy Wig.
