Children shout, BOT!

[Gentle futuristic music plays, whirring]

A grey spaceship flies past stars in space. It has a red, yellow and green light on top.

Children shout, BOT! BOT!

[Slide whistle, clanking]

A silver robot with a blue circle between its eyes assembles in the spaceship. The robot moves on three wheels. Green text above the robot reads, “B.O.T.”

Children shout, BEASTIE OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER! BOT AND THE BEASTIES!

Text reads, “Bot and the Beasties.” Beasties run and knock the text over.

[Horns blare, boinging, energetic music plays]

Children shout, BEASTIES COME! AND BEASTIES GO! BEASTIES, BEASTIES! BEASTIES, BEASTIES! OH NO!

A small, round orange beastie has a tall stalk on their head with six green leaf-like strands on the ends.

A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS BEASTY?

The beastie bounces and shrinks the stalk. They drop back to the ground and the stalk returns to their original length.

[Beastie sings, squeaks]

The narrator says, BOT, THIS IS YOUR MISSION. DETECT BEASTIES.

[Whirring, clicking]

The narrator says, COLLECT SOUND DATA. COLLECT PICTURE DATA. GO!

A round door opens on the floor of the spaceship, and Bot drops down.

Mist rises over the pink sand on a world. Trees grow on top of steep crags.

The narrator says, CRAGGY SANDY WORLD.

Bot lands in a pile of pink sand and pulls itself out.

[Whirring, futuristic music plays, thumping, clanking]

[Distant singing, alarm blaring]

The circle on Bot’s face turns red.

The narrator says, BEASTIE DETECTED!

The beastie flies to Bot.

[Whirring, humming]

The beastie shrinks their stalk and shouts at Bot.

[Shouting]

The narrator says, SHOUTING.

Bot’s head falls off. The beastie bounces off Bot’s body as they fly past.

[Clanking, thunking]

Bot extends its legs and attaches its head to its body.

[Whirring, clanking]

Bot extends its microphone and follows the beastie.

[Wheels squeaking, beeping, gentle music plays]

[Whirring]

Five flying beasties fly to Bot. They shout, and Bot falls backwards.

[All shouting, slide whistle]

The narrator says, SHOUTING!

Bot falls in the sand. It stands and tilts its head so the sand falls off.

[Whirring, drum roll, thumping, whirring]

Bot extends its legs and lifts in front of the five beasties. Bot holds out its microphones, and the beasties shrink their stalks.

[Whirring, beeping, all shouting]

Bot’s body falls to the ground, with its legs forming an arch leading to where Bot’s feet still stand.

[Whirring, thunking]

Bot listens to the recording.

[Shouting replays]

The narrator says, SOUND DATA, COLLECTED.

Bot stands with its legs still extended. The beasties fly higher. Bot follows them, and the beasties fly from side to side.

[Whirring, slide whistles, upbeat music plays, swishing]

Bot takes out a camera and sways, following the moving beasties.

[Whishing, clanking]

Bot’s head, and then body, spins in circles. Bot stops spinning and spins in the other direction to untangle its legs.

[Swishing, whooshing, clanking, whirring, rattling]

[Beasties shouting]

The narrator says, SHOUTING!

Bot shrinks back to the ground.

[Whirring]

The beasties follow Bot and shout. Bot’s head and body fall into the sand, and the beasties fly away from Bot.

[All shouting, humming]

Bot’s legs attach to its body, and then its body attaches to its head. Bot stands up. Bot leaves the camera and arm in the sand and returns to get it.

[Whirring, creaking, slide whistle, boinging, clanking]

Bot rolls in the direction that the beasties flew in.

[Wheels squeaking]

[All shouting]

Bot’s head blows off and lands in the sand. Its legs extend, and its head attaches to its body. Bot rolls forward.

[Whirring, clanking, wheels squeaking]

[All shouting]

Bot’s head blows off. Bot’s legs extend, and its head attaches to its body before it hits the sand. Bot rolls forward.
[Whirring, clanking, wheels squeaking]

Bot rolls into a tunnel.

[Narrator gasping, wheels squeaking, upbeat music plays]

[Beasties inhaling, shouting]

Bot blows out of the tunnel.

[Thumping, clanking]

The narrator says, OH, NO!

Bot rolls into the tunnel.

[Wheels squeaking, whirring]

[Beasties inhaling, shouting]

Bot blows out of the tunnel and falls in the sand.

[Thumping, whirring]

The narrator says, OH, NO!

Bot jumps into the tunnel and rolls forward.

[Beasties inhaling, shouting]

Bot flies out of the tunnel. The five beasties hover near the top of the horn-shaped tunnel.

The narrator shouts, SHOUTING!

[Beasties shouting]

Bot moves its head close to the opening of the tunnel.

[Beasties inhaling, shouting]

Bot blows backwards. Bot moves its head near the opening of the tunnel.

[Beasties inhaling, whirring, shouting]

Bot blows backwards. Bot quickly rolls up the tunnel and plugs the opening at the top with its head.

[Beasties inhaling, whirring, shouting]

[Beasties grumbling]

The narrator says, OH, NO!

A beastie flies to the opening at the bottom of the tunnel.

[Delicate coughing, inhaling, shouting, whirring]

Bot flies out of the opening and flies into the four hovering beasties.

[Popping, whooshing]

Bot takes out the camera. The fifth beasties flies up and knocks Bot. Bot takes a photograph.

[Clanking, camera shutter snapping, beasties shouting]

The circle on Bot’s face turns green.

[Alarm blaring, whirring]

The narrator says, PICTURE DATA, COLLECTED.

Bot floats up towards the spaceship.

[Whirring, futuristic music plays]

The narrator says, ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR DRIFTY SHOUTER.

[Beasties humming, whirring]

The narrator says, MISSION COMPLETE.

[Upbeat music plays, whirring, shouting, slide whistles]
