Children shout, BOT!
[Gentle futuristic music plays, whirring]
A grey spaceship flies past stars in space. It has a red, yellow and green light on top.
Children shout, BOT! BOT!
[Slide whistle, clanking]
A silver robot with a blue circle between its eyes assembles in the spaceship. The robot moves on three wheels. Green text above the robot reads, “B.O.T.”
Children shout, BEASTIE OBSERVATION TRANSMITTER! BOT AND THE BEASTIES!
Text reads, “B.O.T. and the Beasties.” Beasties run and knock the text over.
[Horns blare, boinging, energetic music plays]
Children shout, BEASTIES COME! AND BEASTIES GO! BEASTIES, BEASTIES! BEASTIES, BEASTIES! OH NO!
A fluffy orange beastie with a grey nose, legs, and arms wears a grey hat. The beastie throws a rectangular snowblock over their shoulder.
A narrator asks, WHAT IS THIS BEASTY?
[Singing, slide whistle]
The narrator says, BOT, THIS IS YOUR MISSION. DETECT BEASTIES.
[Whirring, clicking]
The narrator says, COLLECT SOUND DATA. COLLECT PICTURE DATA. GO!
Snow covers the surface of a snowy world. A round door opens on the floor of the spaceship, and Bot drops into the snow.
[Wind gusting, soothing music plays, whirring, rattling]
The narrator says, SNOWY, ICY WORLD.
[Distant singing]
The narrator says, BEASTIE DETECTED.
A rectangular snowblock bounces off Bot’s head. The beastie creates a square snowblock and throws it past Bot.
[Singing, snow rustling, upbeat music plays]
The beastie says, HMM. OOH.
The beastie walks away from Bot, throwing snow blocks over their shoulder. The snowblocks bounce off Bot’s head, knocking Bot down into the thick snow. The snowblocks form a wall on the edge of a cliff.
[Beastie singing, snow rustling, clanking, whooshing]
The narrator says, BUILDING.
The beastie carries a stack of snowblocks and throws them onto the wall, forming an igloo. The igloo hangs precariously over the edge of the cliff. Bot looks from the igloo to the beastie.
[Grunting, rustling, slide whistle, thumping, Bot whirring]
Bot extends its microphone. The beastie steps onto Bot’s head and throws a final snowblock at the igloo.
[Singing, clanking, slide whistle]
The last block slides into a hole in the igloo, and the igloo wobbles.
[Tense music plays, rustling]
The beastie says, HMM.
The beastie walks into the wobbling igloo. Bot lifts itself out of the snow. The beastie pokes their head out of the igloo, and the igloo falls off the cliff. Bot looks over the edge of the cliff.
[Whirring, clanking, grunting, wheels squeaking]
The beastie shouts, AH!
The igloo hits the ground and falls apart. The beastie sits on top of the broken snowblocks.
[Slide whistle, snow rustling]
The beastie says, OOH.
The beastie picks up a snowblock, pats it, and throws it over their shoulder. The snowblock bounces on an ice bridge that connects two snowy ledges.
[Rustling, upbeat music plays, thumping]
The beastie says, OH.
Bot lowers itself down onto the snow ledge behind the Beastie.
[Beastie singing, whirring, clanking]
The beastie hurls an armload of snowblocks onto the bridge. A small crack appears in the ice beneath the forming wall.
[Beastie grunting, thumping]
The narrator says, BUILDING.
Bot puts its microphone behind the beastie. The beastie throws a stack of blocks onto the wall.
[Humming, clanking, whirring, microphone feedback, ice cracking]
The beastie forms another snowblock.
[Beastie singing, microphone playback of singing, snow rustling]
Bot’s light glows yellow.
[Beeping, whirring, clanking]
The narrator says, SOUND DATA COLLECTED.
The beastie creates a large stack of snowblocks. They knock Bot over as they throw the blocks onto the ice bridge.
The beastie says, OOH.
[Rustling, clanking, thumping, whooshing]
The snowblocks fall and form an igloo.
[Thumping]
[Tense music plays, beastie giggling]
The beastie steps onto the ice bridge and slips. They steady themselves and walk to the igloo.
[Slide whistles]
The beastie says, OOH.
[Giggling]
The beastie enters the igloo.
Bot rolls to the edge of the ledge and looks at the beastie peeking out of the igloo. Bot takes out its camera and steps on the bridge. Bot slides towards the igloo, and the ice bridge breaks.
[Giggling, wheels squeaking, rattling, slide whistle, ice cracking]
The narrator says, OH, NO.
The beastie floats back into the igloo as it falls. Bot puts away the camera.
[Whooshing, beastie muttering, tense music plays]
Bot extends its legs and grabs the top of the igloo. The igloo falls into the water and floats into a cave. Bot hits its head on the top of the cave entrance and ducks.
[Whirring, splashing, bonking]
The narrator says, OH!
The igloo bounces down a bumpy hill and floats over a waterfall. The igloo lands on floating ice and the beastie smiles.
[Thumping, water splashing, slide whistle, happy grunting, upbeat music plays]
Bot lands on the other side of the floating ice, and the igloo flies into the air. It lands on top of an icy cliff and falls apart.
[Whooshing, tense music plays, snow rustling]
The beastie says, OH!
The beastie picks up the snow and forms a snowblock.
[Singing, snow rustling upbeat music plays]
The narrator says, BUILDING.
Bot extends its legs onto floating ice closer to the cliff wall. Bot slips and slides on top of the three hunks of ice.
[Whirring, tapping]
Bot extends its legs and jumps onto the top of the icy cliff. The beastie admires their finished igloo. Bot slides into the beastie and pushes the igloo across the ice. The igloo, beastie, and Bot slide off the other side of the cliff.
[Slide whistles, tapping, grunting, boinking, suspenseful music plays, rustling snow, grunting]
The beastie repairs the igloo as it falls. Bot takes out its camera.
[Muttering]
The igloo lands in the water. The bottom of the igloo is boat-shaped and floats steadily.
[Splashing, whirring, beastie muttering]
The beastie says, OOH.
[Camera shutter snapping]
The beastie happily poses for the camera.
[Giggling, upbeat music plays]
The beastie says, WHEE! HAHA.
The beastie walks into the igloo. Bot’s light turns green.
[Beeping]
The narrator says, PICTURE DATA COLLECTED.
Bot puts the camera away.
[Whirring, futuristic music plays]
The narrator says, ALL DATA COLLECTED FOR SNOWY BUILDER. MISSION COMPLETE.
The beastie watches Bot float up to the spaceship.
[Whirring, clattering]
The beastie exits the igloo and stands on the prow of the boat.
The beastie says, WOOHOO!
