Almost 8-year-old Mia presses a button on her little robot brother Codie and runs blocks of code. Mia wears her long, curly brown hair in buns and a yellow zipper hoodie over a purple T-shirt. Codie has purple hair and wears glasses.
A singer sings, RUN THE CODE!
Codie rides a bike wearing an orange helmet. Otis, a polar bear, waves to Codie.
A second singer sings, TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.
Codie plays a drum.
The first singer sings, RUN THE CODE!
The second singer sings, TO GET THINGS DONE.
Jaxon, a brown-haired boy wearing a green T-shirt, races after Evu, a blue-feathered emu. Mia walks over to Codie with a ukulele.
The first singer sings, RUN THE CODE RUN THE CODE!
Mia and Codie play their instruments.
The second singer sings, TO START THE ACTION AND HAVE SOME FUN.
Velvet, a pink elephant, Jaxon and Evu join their friends.
Both singers sing, FROM THE CODE!

Two birds perch on a giant decorative slice of pizza on the side of a building. Directed by Don Moody and Ali Lynette-Krech.
Otis says, PIZZA PIZZA!
Outside the pizza shop, he walks over to Mia and Codie, who are seated at a table.
Otis says, HERE YOU GO! MIA AND LITTLE BUDDY.
He serves pizza without cheese or toppings in front of Mia and Codie.
Otis says, WITH TOPPINGS I PRESUME!
Mia says, YOU KNOW IT OTIS.
Otis says, DA-DA-DA-DAAAA!
He dramatically presses a button on the table and runs a code sequence. In the middle of the table, a tower of pizza topping containers containing mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes pops up from under a potted flower.
[Whirring]
Codie says, TOPPINGS?
[Mia giggling]
Mia says, YEAH, TOPPINGS ARE THINGS WE LIKE TO PUT ON TOP OF THE PIZZA.
Otis says, AND HERE, AT MY PIZZA SHOP, YOU GET TO PICK YOUR OWN!
He spins the pizza topping tower.
Mia says, I'LL HAVE MY FAVORITE PEPPERONI WITH EXTRA CHEESE, PLEASE.
She pulls pepperoni and cheese containers out of the tower.
Otis says, CAN'T TOP THE BASIC TOPPINGS.
He takes the pepperoni from Mia and drops slices onto her pizza slice.
Otis says, OTIS LIKEY!
He puts the pepperoni container back in the tower and grates cheese from the cheese container onto Mia’s pizza.
Mia says, OTIS, REMEMBER, EXTRA CHEESE, PLEASE.
Otis says, MMM, MOST YUM-DELICIOUS! YOUR TURN, LITTLE BUDDY.
Codie spins the pizza topping tower and frowns. Mia eats a bite of her pizza and stretches the cheese.
Codie says, UH, MIA?
The stretched cheese snaps.
[Mia giggling]
Mia says, OOPS, SORRY, CODIE. I'LL HELP YOU. MY LITTLE BRO-BOT'S GONNA LOVE THIS!
Mia walks over to Codie, and Codie opens his code block bin. Mia takes blocks out of the bin and builds Codie a sequence.
Mia says, GRAB… TOPPINGS.
She puts two code blocks in the sequence. Codie closes the block bin.
Mia says, NOW YOU CAN CHOOSE ANY TOPPINGS YOU LIKE, CODIE. LET'S RUN THE CODE!
Mia returns to her seat.
Codie says, GRAB… TOPPINGS.
He reaches past the pizza topping tower. He grabs a handful of rocks and the potted flower off the table.
Codie says, I'LL HAVE ROCKS AND FLOWERS, PLEASE.
Otis says, AHH, LITTLE BUDDY! YOU HAVE SUCH PECULIAR TASTE.
Codie says, SO... THEY'LL TASTE GOOD!
Otis scratches the back of his head and says, NO, THEY WILL NOT BE YUM-DELICIOUS. BUT YOU'RE SO VERY CREATIVE!
[Mia giggling]
Mia says, I'LL SAY. CODIE, YOU CAN'T HAVE ROCKS AND FLOWERS AS TOPPINGS ON YOUR PIZZA.
Codie says, BUT I SAID, PLEASE? AND I LIKE ROCKS AND FLOWERS.
He tosses the flower on his head and balances the rocks on one of his tracks.
Mia says, THAT'S TRUE, YOU DID SAY PLEASE, BUT…
She pats Otis’s paw.
Mia says, OTIS, A LITTLE HELP?
Otis says, OH, MY PLEASURE. WHEN OTIS TALKS ABOUT PIZZA TOPPINGS, HE MEANS I, WELL, SPECIFIC FOOD ITEMS THAT TASTE YUM-DELICIOUS ON PIZZA.
Otis says, SOOOOOOOOOO, ROCKS AND FLOWERS AREN’T FOOD. SOOOOO, THEY WON'T TASTE YUM-DELICIOUS ON PIZZA!
Otis says, EXACTLY! YOU GOT IT.
Codie says, I GET IT. MAY I PICK MY PIZZA TOPPINGS NOW PLEASE?
Otis says, YES, CODIE! ARE YOU THINKING OF SOME SPECIFIC FOOD TOPPINGS THAT WOULD TASTE YUM-DELICIOUS ON PIZZA?
Mia says, THAT'S THE KEY TO CODING, ISN'T IT? BEING SPECIFIC.
Codie says, MAY I SPECIFICALLY HAVE JELLYBEANS AND EXTRA CHEESE, PLEASE?
[Mia giggling]
Mia says, JELLY BEANS? THAT IS A FOOD AND THEY ARE YUM-DELICIOUS.
Codie opens his code block bin.
Mia says, CODIE WILL GRAB TOPPINGS, BUT NOT JUST ANY TOPPINGS.
She takes out blocks and builds Codie a sequence.
Mia says, LET'S BE MORE SPECIFIC.
Codie says, EXTRA CHEESE PLEASE, LIKE YOU.
Mia says, WAY TO BE SPECIFIC LITTLE BRO BOT!
She adds another block of code.
[Mia giggling]
Mia says, LET'S CHECK THE CODE.
Icons mark the different blocks of code.
Mia says, CODIE WILL GRAB SPECIFICALLY JELLYBEANS AND CHEESE.

Mia presses the play button on Codie and runs the code.
Codie says, GRAB...
He reaches for the tower of pizza toppings.
Codie says, SPECIFICALLY, JELLYBEAN AND CHEESE!
He pulls a container of cheese and a container of jellybeans out of the tower and gives them to Otis. Otis sprinkles jellybeans and cheese onto Codie’s pizza.
Codie says, MMM!
[Codie laughing]
Codie grabs the cheese container and passes it back to Otis.
Codie says, EXTRA CHEESE, PLEASE.
Otis says, EXTRA CHEESE!
He grates more cheese onto Codie’s pizza.
Otis says, ENJOY YOUR YUM-DELICIOUS PIZZA!
He puts the cheese container back in the tower, and the tower lowers into the table. Codie takes a bite of his jellybean and extra cheese pizza.
[Munching]
Mia asks, SO... WHATDAYA THINK, CODIE?
Codie says, TRY IT.
He gives Mia his pizza. Mia looks at the pizza skeptically. She takes a small bite.
[Munching]
[Cheerful music plays]
Mia says, WOW! JELLYBEANS ARE YUM-DELICIOUS ON PIZZA.
[Mia, Codie and Otis laughing]
