In an animation, Posy, a brown-haired mouse, steps forward.
She says, PIP!
Pip, a grey-haired rabbit, steps forward.
He says, POSY!
Pip and Posy grab each other’s hands and dance together. Pip wears a white and green striped, long-sleeved shirt and jeans. Posy wears a blue and red T-shirt with a blue and white polka dot skirt.
[Giggling]
Pip carries Posy on his back. Posy tosses her toy frog, Froggy, high in the air. She catches Froggy as Pip’s toy pig, Piggy, lands in Pip’s hand.
Pip says, OH!
[Giggling]
Posy says, COME ON!
She and Pip both say, LET'S PLAY!
[Giggling]
Pip and Posy run together. A title appears. It reads Pip and Posy.
In a playground, Pip and Posy run towards a puddle on a dirt path. Pip wears a yellow raincoat and yellow rain boots, and Posy wears a blue-green raincoat and bright blue rain boots.
[Playful music plays, Pip and Posy laughing]
Pip says, ONE, TWO, THREE, JUMP!
Posy says, WAH!
Posy and Pip jump over the puddle.
Posy says, WE MADE IT!
JUMPING OVER PUDDLES IS EVEN
FUNNER THAN JUMPING IN THEM.
[Both laughing]
Pip and Posy run on the path and stop by a larger, longer puddle.
Pip says, OH!
Posy says, WHOA!
WE WON'T MAKE IT OVER THAT ONE.
IT'S MORE LIKE A SEA THAN A PUDDLE.
Pip points at a rock at the far end of the puddle.
Pip says, AND THAT ROCK IS A MYSTERIOUS
DESERT ISLAND.
[Posy gasping]
Posy suggests, LET'S MAKE A BOAT TO SWOOSH
ACROSS AND EXPLORE THE ISLAND.
[Pip gasping]
Pip says, YEAH!
A BOAT WITH A HEART-SHAPED SAIL.
[Posy giggling]
Posy says, AND PURPLE AND YELLOW SPOTS.
Pip says, UH, SHIP SPOTTALOTTA!
[Posy laughing]
Posy says, SHIP SPOTTALOTTA.
OH, I LOVE IT!
COME ON. LET'S GO.
Pip and Posy run around the long puddle.
[Pip and Posy laughing]
Inside the playing spot, Frankie reads a book. When the door opens, she puts her book down and sneaks behind a bookcase. Frankie peeks over the bookcase as Pip and Posy remove their rain gear.
[Door creaking, Pip and Posy laughing, clothing rustles]
Posy asks, UM, WHAT BITS DO WE
NEED TO MAKE A BOAT?
Pip says, OH, I THOUGHT YOU KNEW.
Frankie says, BOO!
Posy and Pip say, OH!
[Pip and Posy laughing]
Pip says, FRANKIE, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE
A BOAT.
Frankie says, OH, I'VE MADE BOATS BEFORE.
NEED ANY HELP?
Pip and Posy say, YES, PLEASE!
Pip says, WE COULD BE BOAT BUDDIES.
Frankie says, OKAY, BOAT BUDDIES, FIRST
WE'LL NEED A PLASTIC BOTTLE.
[Upbeat music plays]
Posy says, OH, UM...
Pip says, AH!
Posy says, OH!
Pip and Posy run to bins on the floor.
[Panting]
Pip says, MM.
Posy takes a cardboard tube out of a blue plastic bin and holds it up to her eye. She looks around the room through the tube.
Posy says, OH, A TELESCOPE.
PERFECT FOR SPOTTING DANGEROUS
SEA MONSTERS.
[Suspenseful music plays]
Pip waves his arms in front of Posy.
[Pip imitating monster]
Posy shouts, AH!
[Posy laughing]
Posy says, THAT'S NOT A MONSTER.
IT'S A PIP.
[Posy gasps, upbeat music plays]
Posy says, THE PERFECT BOTTOM FOR SHIP
SPOTTALOTTA. OOH.
Posy finds an empty plastic butter tub for the ship. Pip carries it to a table.
[Both giggling]
At the table, Frankie sits on a chair. She puts a pair of scissors on the table.
[Clunk]
Pip and Frankie say, LOOK!
Pip holds up the butter tub. Frankie holds an empty plastic bottle cut in half.
Both say, OH!
[Frankie and Pip laughing]
Frankie says, THEY'RE BOTH GOOD.
MAYBE THIS ONE'S A BIT MORE
BOATY?
BO-BOO-BO-BA-LOOP.
Frankie moves the bottle up and down, imitating a floating boat.
[Posy and Pip laughing]
Posy says, UH, YEAH, IT IS A GOOD BOATY
BOTTLE.
Pip puts the butter tub on the table.
[Tapping]
Pip nods and says, MM-HM.
Frankie says, GREAT, NOW WE NEED A MAST.
Pip says, OH, I'LL GET A LOLLY STICK.
BACK IN A MOSEY, FRANKIE AND
POSY.
Pip runs away from the table. Posy picks up a jar and takes off the lid.
[Playful music plays]
Posy says, AH, SOME STICKY STUFF TO
STICK DOWN THE MAST.
Posy puts blue putty near the front of the boat.
[Posy blowing raspberry, squelching]
Frankie says, OH, IT'S BETTER IF IT'S IN
THE MIDDLE.
Posy says, OH, UM...
Posy moves the putty to the middle of the boat.
[Squelching, Pip panting]
Pip says, SPLODGE!
Pip puts the lolly stick in the putty. The stick leans towards the back of the boat. Frankie straightens the lolly stick.
[Squelching]
Frankie says, WASN'T QUITE STRAIGHT.
[Pip chuckles]
Pip says, OH, OKAY.
Posy says, NOW, WE NEED A SAIL.
Pip says, ON IT!
Pip picks up paper and cuts out a heart-shaped sail.
[Pip giggling, paper rustling, scissors snipping, Pip humming, playful music plays]
Posy dances beside the table.
Posy sings, SNIPPITY SNIP, PIPPITY PIP.
Posy says, OH, THIS IS GONNA BE AMAZING.
Pip holds up the sail.
Pip says, THERE, A HEART SAIL,
ME HEARTIES.
Pip looks at his heart sail.
Pip says uncertainly, HM, IS IT A BIT WONKY?
Posy says, IT'S BRILLIANT.
[Pip giggling, paper rustling]
Frankie takes the sail from Pip.
Frankie says, DON'T WORRY.
I'LL HELP.
Frankie cuts the sail into an egg shape. Pip and Posy look at each other.
[Frankie humming, scissors snipping]
Frankie says, THERE, A LOVELY ROUND SAIL WITH
NO WONKY BITS.
Pip says, OH, BUT...
Frankie carries the sail to the boat and attaches it to the mast.
[Frankie humming, paper rustling]
Pip says, UM...
Frankie says, OOH, TIME TO DECORATE.
I'LL GET THE PAINT, BOAT BUDDIES.
[Door clicking]
Pip says sadly, I REALLY WANTED A HEART SAIL.
Posy says, ME TOO.
IT'S OKAY. WE'LL HAVE FUN DECORATING
THE BOAT.
Pip says, YEAH, SHIP SPOTTALOTTA,
PURPLE WITH YELLOW SPOTS.
Pip pokes Posy’s arm.
[Posy and Pip laughing]
Posy says, HUH?
[Gentle music plays]
Frankie returns, holding a paper plate with green and red paint blobs.
Posy says, OH, UH, FRANKIE, WE WEREN'T
GONNA USE THOSE COLOURS.
Frankie says, OH, UH, I THOUGHT YOU'D
LIKE THEM.
[Frankie chuckles]
Frankie says, I CHOSE GREEN AND REDDISH TO
MATCH YOUR TOPS.
Pip says, UH, WELL, I SUPPOSE THEY'RE
NICE COLOURS TOO.
Posy and Pip pick up paintbrushes.
Pip paints the side of the boat green.
[Tapping, Posy laughing, paint splashing, playful music plays]
Posy says, BLOOP, BLOOP.
Posy puts red dots on the boat.
[Paint splashing]
Posy says, BLOBBY, BLOOPY.
Pip says, SPOTTA-LICIOUS.
LET'S DECORATE THE SAIL AS WELL.
Posy says, YEAH, LET'S LOOK FOR
STICKERS!
Posy picks up the cardboard tube. She and Pip run towards the bins.
[Pip and Posy laughing]
Frankie looks down at the boat.
[Frankie chuckling]
Frankie says, HM?
[Frankie gasps]
Posy peers through the tube at a stuffed dinosaur and a wand with a star on the top.
Posy says, WHERE ARE YOU STICKERS?
NOT ON DINO ISLAND, OR TWINKLY
ISLAND. HM.
[Pip laughing]
Pip says, MAYBE A NAUGHTY SEA MONSTER
GOT THEM.
[Posy gasping]
Posy points and says, THERE!
Pip picks up a red case and opens it.
Pip says, OH!
THERE'S SOME REALLY GOOD ONES.
AN OCTOPUS, WHALE--HUH?
Frankie holds the boat. Yellow petals surround the red dots on the green boat, and more yellow and red flowers are painted on the sail.
[Gentle music plays]
Frankie says, TA-DA!
FINISHED! WHAT DO YA THINK?
Pip says, OH, BUT WE WERE GOING TO
DECORATE THE SAIL.
Frankie says, UM, THERE'S STILL ROOM FOR
ONE OR TWO STICKERS.
Pip puts the sticker case down.
[Posy gasping]
Posy points at the boat and asks, ARE THOSE FLOWERS?
[Serious music plays]
Pip says, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIP
SPOTTALOTTA, BUT THERE AREN'T
EVEN ANY SPOTS.
Posy says, AND IT'S THE WRONG COLOUR,
AND WE DIDN'T DO ANY OF IT.
Frankie says, BUT, I ONLY CUT THE BOTTLE
AND THE SAIL, AND CHOSE THE
COLOURS, AND, OH, PAINTED THE FLOWERS.
SORRY. I WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN MY
CHEEKY FINGERS GOT CARRIED AWAY.

Pip and Posy look at each other.
Posy says, IT'S OKAY, FRANKIE-DOODLE.

Frankie says, OH.

Pip repeats, A RACE?
Pip and Posy look at each other and smile.
[Pip and Posy gasping]
Frankie says, YEAH.
Frankie runs to the table and picks up the other half of the plastic bottle and a piece of paper.
[Frankie gasping]
Frankie says, YOU CAN USE THIS, AND, OOH!
MAYBE SOME SHINY PAPER.
Pip and Posy say, UM...
Frankie says, OH, I WAS DOING IT AGAIN.
STAY BACK, NAUGHTY FINGERS.
PIP AND POSY ARE MAKING THIS BOAT.
[Pip and Posy laughing, playful music plays]
Posy says, STAY BEHIND FRANKIE'S BACK,
CHEEKY FINGERS.
[Frankie laughing]
Frankie puts her hands behind her back.
Frankie says, OOP!
[Pip and Posy laughing]
Posy puts the butter tub on the table.
Frankie rolls jars of purple and yellow paint across the table.
Posy says, MM!
[Everyone laughing]
Frankie says, MM!
Frankie pushes the stickers across the table with her nose, and the octopus sticker sticks to the tip of her nose.
Frankie says, OH!
Posy takes the sticker off of Frankie’s nose.
[Posy laughing]
The finished boat has purple and yellow dots and the octopus sticker on the sail. The tub has wavy purple lines and yellow splatters on the sides.
[Frankie applauding]
Frankie says, OOH!
Frankie hides her hands behind her back.
[Everyone laughing]
Back outside, Pip puts Ship Spottalotta in the long puddle.
[Quiet splashing]
Posy says, SHIP SPOTTALOTTA, READY
TO RACE FRANKIE'S FLOATY FLOWER BOAT?
Frankie puts her flower boat in the puddle.
[Quiet splashing]
Posy says, FIRST TO THE ISLAND WINS.
[Pip laughing, thumping]

Frankie and Pip hide their hands behind their backs.

Frankie runs to the table and picks up the other half of the plastic bottle and a piece of paper.
[Frankie gasping]
Frankie says, YOU CAN USE THIS, AND, OOH!
MAYBE SOME SHINY PAPER.
Pip and Posy say, UM...
Frankie says, OH, I WAS DOING IT AGAIN.
STAY BACK, NAUGHTY FINGERS.
PIP AND POSY ARE MAKING THIS BOAT.
[Pip and Posy laughing, playful music plays]
Posy says, STAY BEHIND FRANKIE'S BACK,
CHEEKY FINGERS.
[Frankie laughing]
Frankie puts her hands behind her back.
Frankie says, OOP!
[Pip and Posy laughing]
Posy puts the butter tub on the table.
Frankie rolls jars of purple and yellow paint across the table.
Posy says, MM!
[Everyone laughing]
Frankie says, MM!
Frankie pushes the stickers across the table with her nose, and the octopus sticker sticks to the tip of her nose.
Frankie says, OH!
Posy takes the sticker off of Frankie’s nose.
[Posy laughing]
The finished boat has purple and yellow dots and the octopus sticker on the sail. The tub has wavy purple lines and yellow splatters on the sides.
[Frankie applauding]
Frankie says, OOH!
Frankie hides her hands behind her back.
[Everyone laughing]
Back outside, Pip puts Ship Spottalotta in the long puddle.
[Quiet splashing]
Posy says, SHIP SPOTTALOTTA, READY
TO RACE FRANKIE'S FLOATY FLOWER BOAT?
Frankie puts her flower boat in the puddle.
[Quiet splashing]
Posy says, FIRST TO THE ISLAND WINS.
[Pip laughing, thumping]
Pip says, OOP!
Frankie and Pip hide their hands behind their backs.
[Gentle music notes play]
Posy says, ONE, TWO, THREE, GO,
BOAT BUDDIES!
[Upbeat music plays, Frankie and Pip blowing]
Pip and Frankie run along the side of the puddle.
Pip and Frankie both say, OOH!
Pip says, COME ON, COME ON, NEARLY THERE.
Ship Spottalotta touches the rock.
Pip cheers, YAY!
Posy cheers, SPOTTALOTTA WINS!
Frankie cheers, WOO!
Posy looks at the rock through the cardboard tube. A green frog jumps onto the rock.
[Posy giggling, squealing]
Posy says, AH!
Posy points and says, IT'S THE SEA MONSTER!
[Everyone laughing]
Pip says, QUICK, SAIL AWAY!
Posy, Pip, and Frankie run to the boats and crouch behind them.
[Laughing, everyone blowing, playful music plays]
Posy says, QUICK, SPOTTALOTTA!
Pip cheers, WOO-HOO!
[Frankie giggling]
