A child says, WHEE!

T.V.O. Kids and Apartment Eleven Productions and Imagine Create, Original.

[Child giggles, upbeat music plays, pop]

Text reads, “T.V.O. Kids presents. Produced by Tracey Mack, Tara Hungerford, Eric Hogan. Music by Jessie Farrell.”

A white guinea pig drives a red convertible. Harry, a shaggy black and white guinea pig, and Frankie, a light brown guinea pig, sit in a library. Clover and Ginger lie in a play tunnel.

[Cheerful music plays]

A singer sings, HOW DO YOU DO? IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU IN OUR HAPPY PLACE. OH, OH, IN OUR HAPPY PLACE.

Title: Happy Place.

A narrator says, ONE OF THE KEYS TO GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS IS GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP. BUT OCCASIONALLY, GUINEA PIGS NEED TO BE REMINDED. TODAY AT HAPPY PLACE SCHOOL, SOMEONE IS ABOUT TO LEARN THE IMPORTANCE OF A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP.

[School bell ringing, gentle music plays]

In a classroom, Miss Whiskers says, GOOD MORNING STUDENTS.

[Yawning]

Miss Whiskers says, MY, MY, EXCUSE ME. I SEEM TO BE A BIT SLEEPY THIS MORNING. I CAN'T STOP...

[Yawning]

Miss Whiskers says, YAWNING.

Clover says, MISS WHISKERS, DO YOU THINK YOU'RE YAWNING BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP?

Miss Whiskers says, YES. THAT MUST BE IT. IT'S NOT A GOOD FEELING WHEN YOU'RE TIRED FROM LACK OF SLEEP. I JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY I'M NOT SLEEPING WELL.

[Upbeat music plays]

Frankie asks, IS SOMETHING ON YOUR MIND, MISS WHISKERS? I DON'T SLEEP WELL BEFORE A DANCE SHOW. MY NERVES GET THE BEST OF ME, AND I CAN'T FALL ASLEEP. SO I DO SOME DEEP BREATHING.

[Inhaling, exhaling]

Frankie continues, THAT HELPS CALM MY NERVES AND HELPS ME DRIFT OFF TO SLEEP.

Miss Whiskers says, HMM. I DO HAVE LOTS ON MY MIND THESE DAYS. I'M HAVING FAMILY VISIT ON THE WEEKEND, SO MY LIST OF THINGS TO DO IS LONGER THAN USUAL. I'LL TRY TAKING SOME DEEP BREATHS BEFORE BED. THANK YOU, FRANKIE.

Harry says, I DON'T SLEEP VERY WELL IF I EAT SUGARY SNACKS BEFORE GOING TO BED. MY TUMMY GETS UPSET, AND MY BODY FEELS RESTLESS. I LIKE TO STICK TO A LIGHT HEALTHY SNACK BEFORE BED.

Miss Whiskers says, HMM. NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT, HARRY, I HAVE BEEN NIBBLING ON CHOCOLATES IN THE EVENING, AND I CAN'T STOP AT JUST ONE CHOCOLATE, THAT'S FOR SURE. MAYBE I'LL GO BACK TO HAVING A CUP OF HERBAL TEA BEFORE BED. GOOD REMINDER.

Clover asks, DO YOU EVER HAVE NIGHTMARES? IF I READ A SCARY BOOK BEFORE BED, I HAVE SCARY DREAMS. SO NOW I ONLY READ FUNNY BOOKS AT NIGHT.

Miss Whiskers says, WELL, THAT'S INTERESTING, CLOVER. I'VE BEEN WATCHING A SUSPENSEFUL TV SHOW AT NIGHT

A flashback shows Miss Whiskers lying on her couch watching a television. She looks away from the television.

[Suspenseful music plays, boinging]

In the classroom, Miss Whiskers says, AND MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN KIND OF SCARY. I'M GONNA HAVE TO GO BACK TO READING MY BOOK. I DO TEND TO SLEEP BETTER IF I READ BEFORE BED.

[Upbeat music plays]

Skip says, HMM. I GOTTA KNOW, MISS WHISKERS, HOW MUCH SCREEN TIME DO YOU HAVE BEFORE BEDTIME? TOO MUCH SCREEN TIME IS A NO-NO. I LIKE TO PLAY A BIT WITH MY TRAINS AT NIGHT TO UNWIND.

Miss Whiskers says, OKAY, YOU HAVE A POINT, TOO, SKIP. NO MORE SCREENS BEFORE BED. YOU'VE ALL ALL HELPED ME REALIZE THAT I'VE PICKED UP SOME BAD HABITS THAT ARE AFFECTING MY SLEEP. I'VE BEEN WATCHING MORE T.V. AT NIGHT THAN USUAL, AND THE SHOW I'M WATCHING IS TOO SPOOKY. AND EATING CHOCOLATES IN BED IS PROBABLY NOT A GOOD IDEA. ALL THIS IS KEEPING ME UP AT NIGHT. TOSSING AND TURNING AND OVERTHINKING.

Frankie says, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR SLEEP HYGIENE, MISS WHISKERS. YOU NEED A ROUTINE TO HELP YOU UNWIND BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. A WARM BUBBLE BATH WORKS FOR ME.

In a bathroom, a rubber ducky floats in a bubble bath.

[Water splashing, Frankie giggling]

In the classroom, Miss Whiskers says, I SUPPOSE YOU'RE RIGHT, FRANKIE. IN FACT, I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND WORDS OF WISDOM.

Frankie says, NO PROBLEM.

Harry says, YOU HELP US ALL THE TIME.

Clover says, YOU GOT THIS!

Skip says, HOPE YOU GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP TONIGHT.

The narrator says, AT THE END OF THE DAY, MISS WHISKERS LISTENED TO THE ADVICE OF HER STUDENTS. SHE MADE CHOICES THAT HELPED HER WIND DOWN, FEEL CALM, AND FALL INTO A DEEP AND RESTFUL SLEEP. AND THE NEXT DAY, MISS WHISKERS FELT SO MUCH BETTER.

Miss Whiskers sits beside a mug with text that reads, “I love my teacher.” A heart represents the word love.
