[Cheerful music plays]

A staircase spirals around the tree trunk of the Treeborhood. Tiny houses are nestled in the tree. In the Wombat’s house, Malik, a blue-grey wombat; Zadie, a purple wombat; and Zeke, a yellow wombat, sleep in hammocks. They wake up, jump out of their hammocks, and high-five each other. Their grandmother, Super, a blue wombat with pink hair, pours milk and breakfast cereal into their bowls. Zeke holds his stuffed wombat, Snout. The children leave the house and slide across tree branches.

The siblings sing, WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM WHAT DO WE SAY? WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT WORK IT OUT WOMBATS!

Other residents of the Treebourhood smile and wave at the siblings.

The siblings sing, WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S ALWAYS A WAY! WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT WORK IT OUT WOMBATS!

They plant seeds with Kat, Kit, Carly, CeCe and Clyde, a family of green crabs.

Zadie sings, WE'VE GOT IDEAS FOR DAYS.

Malik sings, SOLVE PROBLEMS LOTS OF WAYS.

He and his siblings decorate cupcakes with Louisa, a tarsier, and her parents, blue-haired Duffy and green-haired Leiko, who are kangaroos.

Zeke sings, I LOVE IT WHEN WE PLAY.

Ellie, a moose, jumps on a trampoline. Her hat flies off.

The wombat siblings sing, ALL TOGETHER!

They fly in a hot air balloon with Enrique, known as Quique, and Sammy, who are snakes. They fly past Ellie and Malik returns her hat.

On a bench, Zadie sings, HEY, I'M ZADIE BRING ON THE PROBLEMS.TRY SOME DIFFERENT THINGS TILL WE SOLVE THEM.

Zadie has purple fur and wears an orange shirt with a yellow lightning bolt. She helps Mr. E, an iguana, with his basket of apples.

Malik sings, I'M MALIK, WE'LL WORK IT OUT JUST WAIT. WE MAKE SOME PLANS THEN WE BUILD AND CREATE.

He has grey fur and wears a purple hoodie. He rides a homemade race car with JunJun, a pink eagle.

Zeke sings, I'M ZEKE, HERE'S SNOUT WE LIKE TO EXPLORE.

He has orange fur and wears a blue striped shirt. He runs around with Snout, his blue stuffed animal.

The wombat siblings sing, LET'S GO DO IT ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!

The siblings and their friends sing, HELP'S NEVER FAR AWAY THAT'S FOR SURE. WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT WORK IT OUT WOMBATS!

In the Starlight Community Room, they build a Rube Goldberg machine.

Everyone sings, COME JOIN THE FUN GET READY, LET'S GO! WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT WORK IT OUT WOMBATS!

All their Treeborhood friends appear.

The siblings sing, WORK IT OUT, WORK IT OUT WORK IT OUT WOMBATS!

The title reads, Work It Out Wombats!

[Cheerful music plays]

The siblings cheer, YEAH!

Malik reads the episode title card.

He says, A ROOM OF OUR OWN.

Text reads, “Written by Kathy Waugh. Story by Cusi Cram and Peter Hirsch. Directed by Jeff Barker. Song by Joe Fallon.”

[Gentle, upbeat music plays]

[Malik and Zeke humming]

In Malik, Sadie and Zeke’s bedroom, Malik and Zeke colour at the table. Zadie reads a book in her hammock. She scowls and glares at Malik and Zeke.

[Malik and Zeke humming]

Zadie says, DO YOU MIND? I'M TRYING TO READ.

Malik says, I DON'T MIND THAT YOU'RE READING.

Zeke says, READ AWAY.

[Malik and Zeke humming]

Zadie angrily says, WHAT I MEANT WAS, I CAN'T READ IF YOU TWO ARE HUMMING.

Malik and Zeke glance at Zadie and share a look.

Zeke says, SORRY.

Whispering, he says, WE'LL BE QUIET.

Zadie says, THANK YOU.

She leans against her pillow and returns to her book. Malik and Zeke frown and return to their colouring.

Loudly whispering, Malik asks, DO YOU HAVE A BLUE PENCIL?

Loudly whispering, Zeke responds, NUH-UH. JUST GREEN, YELLOW, PURPLE, WHITE, ORANGE, TAN, BURNT SIENNA…

[Zadie clearing her throat loudly]

Malik looks over his shoulder toward Zadie. He reaches for his jar of pencil crayons and knocks over a bowl of marbles.

[Marbles rattling]

Malik cringes and glances toward Zadie.

Zadie angrily says, MALIK, YOU ARE A READING RUINER!

Malik says, ONLY BECAUSE I CAN'T FIND THE BLUE PENCIL. DID YOU USE IT?

Zadie says, I MIGHT HAVE. CHECK UNDER MY CLOTHES.

Malik leaves his seat and searches a pile of clothes on the floor.

He says, NOT THERE!

Zadie says, TRY THE CLOSET.

Malik opens the closet door, and a pile of toys falls out on top of him.

[Malik groaning]

Malik groans, ZADIE!

A blue pencil crayon falls out of the closet. It bounces off Malik’s head and lands in his paws.

Malik says, YES!

He walks back through the room.

Malik says, I'D APPRECIATE IT YOU'D PUT THE TOYS IN THE TOYS IN THE TOY BOX AND PENCILS IN THE JAR ON THE DESK.

Zadie asks, WHAT IF I NEED A PENCIL WHILE I'M IN THE CLOSET?

Malik says, PENCILS BELONG ON THE DESK.

Zadie says, YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF PENCILS.

She jumps down from her hammock.

Malik says, UH, YEAH, I AM. I'M THE OLDEST.

Zadie and Malik glare at each other. Like a ball, Zeke rolls over and stands between them.

Zeke says, COME ON! CAN YOU NOT BE MAD?

Malik says, I'M NOT MAD. I JUST… I WANT MY OWN ROOM!

Zadie says, SO... DO... I.

Zadie and Malik briefly look away. They cross their arms and glare at each other. In the kitchen, Grandma Super stands at the table with an egg. She stirs batter in a bowl.

Grandma Super says, CRACK ONE EGG INTO THE BATTER.

Zadie and Malik run in and shout, SUPER!

[Grandma Super yelping]

Grandma Super throws her mixing spoon and egg. She grabs the bowl and runs after the egg.

Grandma Super says, AND...

She catches the egg in the bowl.

Grandma Super says, SAFE!

She walks over to Zadie and Malik.

Grandma Super says, WHEW! YOU MADE ME JUMP, YOU TWO.

She takes the egg out of the batter She looks at Zadie and Malik and frowns.

Grandma Super asks, WHAT'S UP? YOU LOOK VERY SERIOUS.

Zadie says, WE ARE. WE HAVE DECIDED A THING, AN IMPORTANT THING.

Grandma Super asks, AND WHAT IS THIS THING?

She cracks the egg into the bowl.

Malik says, WE CAN'T SHARE A ROOM ANYMORE. ZADIE IS TOO MESSY AND DISORGANIZED, WHICH IS VERY UPSETTING.

Zadie says, AND MALIK THINKS HE'S THE BOSS OF PENCILS.

Malik says, WE DECIDED WE NEED OUR OWN ROOMS.

Grandma Super says, LAST I CHECKED, WE DON'T HAVE ANY SPARE ROOMS.

She stirs her batter.

Malik says, THEN CAN I HAVE THE LIVING ROOM FOR A BEDROOM?

Grandma Super says, MM, NO.

Malik frowns and looks around.

He asks, THEN CAN I HAVE THAT?

Malik points toward Grandma Super’s tool belt.

Grandma Super says, SURE.

She tosses Zeke a roll of masking tape from her tool belt.

Zeke says, THANKS.

He rolls like a ball out of the room.

Zadie asks, ARE YOU MAKING CORNBREAD FOR SUPPER? I HOPE.

Grandma Super says, THAT'S A YES SIREE.

Zadie cheers, YAHOO!

She hugs Grandma Super and leaves. In the bedroom, Malik adds a strip of masking tape to a line of tape on the floor.

Malik says, DONE. HOW DO YOU LIKE IT?

The tape separates the room into three sections.

Zadie says, UH...

Malik says, THIS SECTION IS MY ROOM, AND THAT SECTION IS YOURS, ZADIE.

He throws Zadie’s pile of clothes into a section against the far wall with the hammocks, loft and slide.

Malik says, ZEKE, YOU ARE HERE.

He steps into an empty section in the middle of the room. Zeke walks into the space.

Zeke asks, WHERE'S SNOUT'S ROOM?

Zadie says, HANG ON. DO YOU GET THE CLOSET, TOO?

Malik says, I GUESS, YEAH, BUT YOU GET THE SLIDE.

Zadie glances at the slide.

She says, THIS IS COMPLETELY NOT FAIR. YOUR ROOM IS WAY BIGGER.

Malik steps into his section at the front of the room, which includes the closet and door.

Zeke asks, WHERE DOES SNOUT GO?

Malik says, SNOUT CAN HAVE A PIECE OF MY ROOM.

He tapes off a small section of his space.

Malik says, THERE. FAIR NOW?

Zadie says, NOPE. ALSO, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET TO THE DOOR? YOUR ROOM'S IN THE WAY.

Malik says, HERE'S A PASS TO WALK THROUGH MY ROOM.

He writes on a small card. Malik throws the homemade pass to Zadie. Standing between Zadie and Malik, Zeke drags an empty cardboard box through his space and stands inside.

Malik says, PRESENT YOUR PASS, PLEASE.

[Zadie groaning]

Zadie gives Zeke the pass.

Zeke says, LOOKS GOOD. YOU MAY PROCEED.

He waves Zadie forward. Zadie walks through Malik’s space with an annoyed expression.

Zadie says, I AM NOT GOING TO USE A PASS TO GET OUT OF MY OWN ROOM!

She throws the pass away.

Zadie yells, SUPER!

Grandma Super walks up to the door.

She says, WHAT IN THE WORLD?

Zadie says, TELL MALIK THESE ROOMS HE MADE AREN'T FAIR.

Grandma Super says, I THINK YOU JUST TOLD HIM, ZADIE.

Malik says, IT'S OKAY. I GET IT.

He pulls out the roll of masking tape.

Malik says, I CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.

Grandma Super says, THAT'S THE SPIRIT. CORNBREAD WILL BE READY SOON, KIDS.

She leaves.

On the front porch, Zadie and Zeke bounce on pogo sticks wearing helmets.

[Both giggling]

From the bedroom window, Malik shouts, ROOMS ARE ALMOST READY!

Zadie says, WHOO, YEAH!

She continues bouncing.

Zadie says, 89, 90, 91. CAN WE MAKE IT TO 100, ZEKE?

Zeke says, WE CAN!

At the window, Malik says, I WORKED IT OUT! THE ROOMS ARE READY!

Zadie counts, 96, 97.

She and Zeke hop off their pogo sticks.

Zadie says, CLOSE ENOUGH.

Zeke grabs Snout off the bench and runs inside with Zadie. In the bedroom, Zadie and Zeke frown. Two lines of tape mark the floor along with masking tape circles.

Malik says, IT LOOKS WEIRD, I KNOW, BUT HERE'S MY PLAN TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ZADIE, THIS IS YOUR ROOM NOW.

He stands by the far wall with the hammocks and slide.

Malik says, TO GET TO THE DOOR, YOU WALK ON THE STEPPING STONES, WHICH ANYONE CAN USE. NO PASS NEEDED.

He hops across his stepping stones, the masking tape circles, into the middle of the room. Zadie and Zeke share a worried look.

Malik says, AND ZEKE...

He rolls like a ball across the stepping stone circles through the middle of the room.

Malik says, WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR ROOM, YOU GO THIS WAY. YOU KNOW HOW WE SOMETIMES HAVE TO CROSS THE RIVER USING STONES?

He hops across the stepping stones.

Malik says, WELL, THIS IS KIND OF LIKE THAT.

Zeke says, YOUR PLAN IS TOO COMPLICATED, MALIK. SNOUT WILL FORGET.

Zadie says, PLUS, THE ROOMS STILL AREN'T FAIR. MY ROOM IS SMALLER THAN YOURS, AND ZEKE'S IS TINY.

She runs around to the different spaces.

Malik says, I DID MY BEST. I COULDN'T FIND THE RULER, SO I COULDN'T MEASURE TO MAKE THE ROOMS EVEN.

Zadie says, WELL, THE GOOD NEWS IS, YOU GAVE ME A NEW IDEA OF HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM!

She runs over to the table and grabs the blue pencil from the jar.

Zadie says, HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A PLAN?

She draws on a piece of paper. Zeke and Malik join her.

Zadie says, FIRST, WE MAKE A HALLWAY SO WE CAN ALL GET IN AND OUT.

She draws the bedroom with lines marking a hallway at the front and right side of the room.

Malik says, LOOK AT YOU, DRAWING WITH THE BLUE PENCIL…

His tone grows annoyed.

Malik continues, …WHICH YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO LOOK FOR, ‘CAUSE IT WAS RIGHT THERE ON THE DESK!

Zadie glares at Malik.

She says, SECOND, WE MEASURE THE SPACE THAT'S LEFT INTO THREE EQUAL ROOMS.

On her drawing, Zadie separates the remaining space with evenly spaced lines.

Zeke says, WE CAN MEASURE WITH THIS!

He grabs a banana with eyes.

Malik says, A BANANA IS TOO CURVY, ZEKE. WE NEED TO FIND SOMETHING STRAIGHT, LIKE A RULER.

He frowns and looks at Zadie.

Malik says, WHICH I CAN'T FIND.

Zadie says, THAT'S BECAUSE I LEFT IT AT JUNJUN'S.

A thought bubble shows Zadie and JunJun drawing a castle with a ruler on a large piece of paper.

Zadie says, WE WERE DESIGNING A PLAY CASTLE.

The bubble pops.

Malik angrily says, ZADIE, YOU HAVE TO PUT STUFF BACK WHERE IT BELONGS!

He crosses his arms and frowns.

Zadie says, SORRY.

[Zadie laughing awkwardly]

[Malik sighing]

Malik leaves the table.

He says, I GUESS WE CAN USE THIS BOX. IT'S GOT STRAIGHT EDGES.

Zadie and Zeke follow Malik over to the cardboard box.

Malik says, I'LL MEASURE AND YOU TAPE, OKAY, ZEKE?

He gives Zeke the roll of masking tape.

Zeke cheers, BOY, OH, BOY!

Zadie says, WHILE YOU DO THAT, I'LL PULL UP THE OLD TAPE.

She starts pulling up the tape on the floor.

[Light, cheerful music plays]

Malik pushes the cardboard box across the floor. Zeke lays down the tape.

Malik says, ONE... TWO... THREE BOXES LONG.

He pushes the box to another part of the room.

Malik says, AND ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR... FIVE... SIX BOXES WIDE.

Zeke marks the floor with more tape.

Malik says, EACH ROOM NOW MEASURES THE SAME.

Zadie cheers, WHOO-HOO! WE WORKED IT OUT!

She steps into a hallway space marked on the floor.

Zadie says, ONE HALLWAY WE CAN ALL USE AND THREE EQUAL ROOMS, JUST LIKE MY DRAWING.

In the far end of the room, she holds up her drawing.

Zeke says, AND SNOUT WILL LIVE WITH ME!

In the middle of the room, Zeke hugs Snout.

At the door, Grandma Super says, HEY, KIDDOS, SOON AS THE OVEN DINGS, SUPPER'S READY.

At the front of the room, Malik says, CHECK OUT HOW WE FIXED THE PROBLEM, SUPER. COOL, HUH?

[Dinging]

Zadie, Zeke and Malik cheer, CORNBREAD!

They roll down the hallway marked on the floor and out of the room past Grandma Super.

[Grandma Super laughing]
[Gentle music plays]

At night, Zadie, Zeke and Malik lie on the floor in their hammock beds each in their own space. Zadie lies beside a pile of her things with a lamp that lights the room. Zeke lies with Snout. Malik lies with the jar of pencil crayons and an eraser.

Zadie says, WE SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS YEARS AGO.

Malik says, I'M CALLING MY ROOM THE KINGDOM OF MALIKONIA, WHERE EVERYTHING IS NEAT AND ORGANIZED.

He waves a hand-drawn flag.

Zadie says, WELL, THIS HERE IS ZADIELAND, KNOWN FOR ITS DELICIOUS MESSINESS!

She turns off her lamp.

Zadie says, GOODNIGHT, EVERYONE.

Malik and Zeke say, NIGHT!

They roll onto their sides. Zadie stretches her arms.

[Zadie yawning]

Zadie rolls onto her side.

[Trumpet playing]

Zadie rolls onto her back and covers her ears.

She asks, WHAT IS HAPPENING?

Malik plays a trumpet.

[Trumpet music continues]

Malik lowers his trumpet and says, IN MALIKONIA, THERE'S USUALLY A CONCERT BEFORE BEDTIME.

He continues playing the trumpet.

[Trumpet music continues]

Zadie says, OH, YEAH? WELL, IN ZADIELAND, WE SING…

She shouts, …A REALLY LOUD GOODNIGHT!

She plays a pellet drum.

[Drum rattling]

[Trumpet music continues]

In the living room, Grandma Super sits on the couch knitting. She frowns and looks toward the bedroom.

Grandma Super says, MY STARS! THEY CAN'T STILL BE ARGUING.

[Trumpet music and drum rattling continues]

Malik and Zadie shout, SUPER!

Grandma Super shakes her head and jumps off the couch. Later, outside, Grandma Super and Malik stand on the porch beside a tent. Malik holds a flashlight.

Grandma Super asks, ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THIS FOR A ROOM, MALIK? YOU DON'T WANT TO TRY TO WORK THINGS OUT WITH ZADIE?

Malik says, NOPE, I'M GOOD.

He smiles and hugs Grandma Super.

Malik says, SEE YOU IN THE MORNING, SUPER.

He turns on the flashlight and walks into the tent. Malik zips the tent closed behind him and turns off the light. Grandma Super smiles and returns to the house. In the bedroom, Zadie and Zeke pull tape off the floor.

Zadie says, TWO IN A ROOM IS SO MUCH NICER THAN THREE, AND LOOK. NOW, WE HAVE A GIANT TAPE BALL!

She kicks a large ball of masking tape.

Zeke says, YEAH!

He and Zadie toss the tape ball back and forth. They both frown. Zeke drops the ball, and it rolls away.

Zeke says, BUT I MISS MALIK.

He glances at the window.

Zeke shouts, GOODNIGHT, MALIK!

From outside, Malik shouts, NIGHT, ZEKE!

Zeke smiles. Zadie looks around the room.

She asks, HAVE YOU SEEN THE BOOK I WAS READING?

Zeke shrugs and says, I THINK IT'S UNDER ONE OF YOUR PILES.

Zadie frowns at piles of her things that include toys, books and clothes.

She says, ZEKE, ZADIELAND MIGHT BE GETTING A LITTLE TOO MESSY. HELP ME CLEAN IT UP?

Zeke says, OKEY-DOKEY! SNOUT CAN HELP, TOO.

He and Zadie smile. Outside in the tent, Malik lies on the floor in his hammock.

Malik says, IN MALIKONIA, WE SLEEP ALONEIA, BUT WE'RE NEVER LONELYA IN MALIKONIA.

He smiles. Lying on his side, Malik frowns. Malik lies on his back with his feet on his pillow. He lies under his blanket with his feet sticking out.

[Buzzing]

A firefly flutters around a window behind Malik. Malik glances at the firefly.

Malik eagerly says, HI, HELLO! ARE YOU HERE FOR A VISIT?

The firefly flies away.

Malik frowns and says, AW, I GUESS NOT.

[Malik sighing]

Malik looks disappointed. In the bedroom, Zadie adds a pile of clothes to a basket.

Zeke says, OUR ROOM IS SO NEAT NOW. MALIK WOULD LOVE IT!

Zadie climbs up to her hanging hammock.

She says, I DON'T MIND CLEANING ONCE IN A WHILE. I JUST DON'T WANT TO CLEAN ALL THE TIME.

Zeke lies in his hammock under Zadie. Malik walks up to them.

He says, I COULD DEAL WITH THAT.

Zadie says, MALIK, DID YOU FORGET SOMETHING?

Malik says, I... FORGOT TO SAY GOODNIGHT TO SNOUT.

Zeke says, AW, SNOUT MISSES YOU, TOO.

He passes Snout to Malik. Malik hugs the stuffed animal.

Zeke adds, AND SO DOES ZADIE.

Zadie says, I DO NOT!

She crosses her arms.

Zadie says, NOT MUCH.

She scratches the back of her head.

Zadie says, A LITTLE.

Malik says, ME, TOO, A LITTLE.

He gives Snout back to Zeke.

Zeke asks, DO YOU WANT TO COME BACK, MALIK? YOU DO?

Malik smiles shyly.

Zeke says, SAY YOU DO!

Malik says, WELL...

He scratches the back of his head.

Zadie says, I'LL TRY NOT TO BE MESSY, MALIK.

Malik says, AND I'LL TRY NOT TO BE NEAT ALL THE TIME.

Zadie says, DEAL. WANT TO SLEEP IN MY HAMMOCK, SINCE YOURS IS STILL OUTSIDE?

Malik says, SURE!

He jumps up to Zadie’s hammock.

Malik says, WE WORKED IT OUT. WE FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE THREE EQUAL ROOMS.

Zeke pulls himself up to Zadie’s hammock.

He says, AND A HALLWAY!

He climbs into the hammock with Zadie and Malik.

Malik says, BUT THAT WASN'T REALLY THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM WAS, WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO GET ALONG.

Zadie says, AND FIXING THAT PROBLEM IS SIMPLE! YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE BIT MESSY.

Malik says, AND YOU HAVE TO BE A LITTLE BIT NEAT.

Zadie and Malik smile at each other. Zadie, Zeke and Malik’s eyes start to close. They slowly blink.

[All yawning]

Zadie, Zeke and Malik fall asleep.

[All snoring]

At the door, Grandma Super smiles. She walks up to Zadie’s hammock and spots the big ball of tape on the floor.

Grandpa Super says, THAT LOOKS FUN!

[Playful music plays]

Grandpa Super kicks the tape ball around on the floor like a soccer ball.

She says, OOH, OOH, OOH!

Grandma Super kicks the ball over her head.

She says, OOH, OOH, OOH!

[Grandma Super giggling]

Grandma Super kicks the ball out of the door. She follows it out, then quickly returns and turns off the light. She closes the door.

[Funky music plays]

In the kitchen at the tree stump table, Zeke flicks the lid off a jar of sunflower butter. Malik grabs the jar. Zadie jumps on the table and raises her fist.

Zadie says, LUNCH TIME!

She flips onto a stump seat.

Zadie says, LET'S EACH MAKE A SANDWICH.

Malik says, LET'S START WITH SUNFLOWER BUTTER.

Zeke grabs a bag of bread.

He says, I'VE GOT THE BREAD!

Zadie grabs the bag.

She says, NO WAY!

Zadie pulls the bread away from Zeke. Malik reaches for a jar of grape jelly. Zeke grabs the jar. Zadie reaches for it.

Zeke says, LET'S DO JELLY FIRST.

Malik says, WAIT! LET'S BREAK IT DOWN.

Zadie cheers, YEAH!

Zeke says, 'CAUSE I'M HUNGRY.

[Upbeat music plays]

Malik sings, WHEN YOU HAVE A JOB THAT SEEMS TOO BIG FOR YOU DON'T GIVE UP IT'S HAPPENED TO ME TOO!

He drops three slices of bread onto the table.

Malik sings, KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND YOU'LL FIND A CLUE THEN YOU'LL KNOW WHAT TO DO.

He grabs a butter knife.

Zadie, Zeke and Malik sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Malik dips the knife in the sunflower butter and passes it to Zadie.

The three siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Zadie spreads the sunflower butter onto each slice of bread.

She sings, IN EVERY JOB LITTLE JOBS CAN BE FOUND THAT'S THE BEST PART OF BREAKING IT DOWN.

Zeke eats jelly out of the jar with his paws. He pours jelly onto each slice of bread over the sunflower butter.

Zadie sings, SOLVE THE LITTLE JOBS ONE BY ONE AND YOU'LL GET THE BIG ONE DONE.

The three siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Malik turns over the bag of bread and crumbs fall out. The siblings frown. Grandma Super walks in with another bag.

Grandma Super Sings, DON'T FORGET WHEN YOU FEEL STUCK TRY SOMETHING NEW DON'T WAIT FOR LUCK.

She throws the bag of bread in the air and tosses three slices to Zadie, Zeke and Malik. The siblings add the bread to their sandwiches.

Zeke sings, KEEP BOUNCING IDEAS AROUND IN EVERY BIG JOB LITTLE JOBS CAN BE FOUND!

The three siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Grandma Super dances.

She and the siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Zadie, Zeke and Malik make another sunflower butter and grape jelly sandwich. Malik passes the sandwich to Grandma Super. Everyone eats their sandwiches.

With his mouth full, Zeke says, TO A JOB WELL BROKEN DOWN!

[Zadie and Malik giggling]

Malik reads the episode title card.

He says, ZEKE’S FAIRY VILLAGE.

Text reads, “Written by Jessica Tsou. Directed by Jeff Baker.”

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

In the kitchen, Grandma Super adds a slice of banana to a skewer with a cube of watermelon and half a strawberry. Zadie, Zeke and Malik roll in on their skateboards. They each wear a helmet.

The three siblings say, FRUIT KABOBS!

They step off their boards.

Zeke asks, CAN I HAVE ONE, PLEASE?

Zadie says, ME TOO, ME TOO, ME TOO, PLEASE!

She, Zeke and Malik join Grandma Super at the table.

Malik says, BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE KABOB, AND THERE ARE ONE, TWO, THREE OF US.

Zadie says, WE COULD MAKE MORE.

Zeke says, I DON'T KNOW HOW.

[Grandma Super humming the Break It Down tune]

Zadie says, ZEKE, LIKE GRANDMA ALWAYS SAYS, WE'VE JUST GOT TO BREAK IT DOWN.

Grandma Super smiles.

Zadie says, IN EVERY JOB, LITTLE JOBS CAN BE FOUND…

Malik sings, WORK TOGETHER ON THE LITTLE JOBS ONE BY ONE, AND YOU'LL GET THE BIG ONE DONE!

He taps a beat on the table.

[Upbeat music plays]

Zadie, Zeke, Malik and Grandma Super sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Malik looks at the bowls of strawberries, bananas and watermelon slices on the table.

He says, OKAY, THERE'S ONE, TWO, THREE KINDS OF FRUIT AND ONE, TWO, THREE OF US.

Zadie says, I'LL CUT THE STRAWBERRIES INTO PIECES.

She grabs the bowl of strawberries.

Malik says, I'LL CUT THE WATERMELON INTO CHUNKS.

Grandma Super passes him the bowl of watermelon slices. Zeke holds up a banana.

He says, I'LL SLICE THE BANANANANA.

Grandma Super says, AND I'LL PUT THE FRUIT ON THE STICKS.

She sings, WHEN YOU HAVE A JOB THAT SEEMS TOO BIG FOR YOU, DON'T GIVE UP. IT'S HAPPENED TO ME, TOO!

Zadie sings, WORK TOGETHER TO SOLVE THE LITTLE JOBS ONE BY ONE.

She cuts a strawberry in half.

Malik sings, AND YOU GET THE BIG ONE DONE!

He cuts into a watermelon slice. Zeke slices the banana.

The three siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND.

Grandma Super puts a strawberry slice on a skewer.

The siblings sing, BREAK IT DOWN! BREAK IT DOWN. KEEP TINKERING AROUND AND AROUND

Grandma Super adds pieces of watermelon and banana to the skewer. She puts a plate with fruit kabobs on the table beside a handful of napkins.

Zeke says, WE DID IT! WE BROKE THE BIG JOB DOWN!

He, Zadie, Malik and Grandma Super eat their fruit kabobs. Fruit juice splashes onto the floor.

Grandma Super says, YOU'RE DRIPPING ON MY NICE, CLEAN FLOOR. WHEN WE EAT REALLY MESSY FOOD, WHAT DO WE DO?

Zadie, Zeke and Malik say, TAKE IT OUTSIDE.

Grandma Super smiles and nods. On the porch outside, Zadie, Zeke and Malik eat the fruit off their kabobs. A leaf falls toward Zeke.

[Gobbling]

Malik says, MMM!

[Wind gusting]

Zeke spots the leaf nearby and puts down his kabob.

He asks, ZADIE, MALIK, WANT TO PLAY LEAF TAG?

Malik says, NOT NOW, ZEKE. WE'RE EATING OUR SNACK.

Zeke says, I'M GOING TO GET YOU, LEAF!

He follows the leaf down the porch stairs. Zadie tosses her last piece of fruit in her mouth. Zeke follows the leaf down a slide to the bottom of the Treebourhood and tags it.

Zeke says, TAG! YOU'RE IT!

The leaf blows away. Zeke follows it to a small hole in the ground.

Zeke says, LOOK, SNOUT. A LITTLE HOLE.

He looks around at other holes in the ground.

Zeke says, WHOA. THERE ARE LOTS OF LITTLE HOLES.

He kneels and looks down the first hole.

Zeke says, HELLO! ANYBODY HOME?

He turns his head and puts his ear closer to the hole.

Zeke says, THEY MUST NOT BE HOME.

He makes Snout nod.

[Snout squeaking]

Zeke says, GOOD IDEA, SNOUT. LET'S LAY DOWN HERE AND WAIT TO SEE IF THEY COME BACK.

He lies beside the hole with Snout. Zeke’s eyes slowly close and day turns to dusk. Zeke opens his eyes and gazes up toward the setting sun.

[Buzzing]

Zeke spots the shadow of a winged creature.

[Magical music plays]

Zeke says, SNOUT, YOU SEE THAT? IT'S A FAIRY!

The winged creature flies away into one of the holes in the ground.

Zeke says, WHOA.

At night, Zeke runs through the living room past Grandma Super.

Zeke says, AMAZING! IT'S AMAZING!

Malik and Zadie roll like balls over to Zeke and Grandma Super.

Malik asks, WHAT'S AMAZING?

Zeke says, I SAW A FAIRY!

Malik glances at Zadie and they both frown.

Malik asks, WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE?

Zeke leaves. He returns wearing costume fairy wings.

He says, LIKE THIS!

Zeke runs around Grandma Super.

He says, WHOO, WHOA, WHEE!

Malik says, I'VE NEVER SEEN A FAIRY IN THE TREEBOURHOOD BEFORE.

Zadie says, THEY MUST HAVE JUST MOVED HERE.

Zeke says, AND THE FAIRY CAME OUT OF THE HOLE. THERE ARE LOTS OF HOLES, SO THERE MUST BE LOTS OF FAIRIES, AND SNOUT HAS A GREAT IDEA!

Grandma Super asks, WHAT'S THAT, SNOUT?

Zeke says, HE WANTS TO BUILD THEM ALL TEENY, TINY, LITTLE FAIRY HOUSES TO LIVE IN. COME ON! COME ON!

He jumps up and down and into Grandma Super’s arms.

Grandma Super says, HMM. NOT NOW, MY LITTLE SQUISH. IT'S BEDTIME. YOU CAN BUILD FAIRY HOUSES TOMORROW.

Zeke frowns.

He says, BUT I WANT TO DO IT NOW!

Grandma Super carries Zeke through the living room.

Sleepily, Zeke says, I'M NOT EVEN SLEEPEES.

His eyes slowly close. Zadie and Malike smile and follow Grandma Super through the room. On a new day, Zeke pulls a wagon loaded with supplies to the small holes by the slide. The supplies include flowers, sticks and leaves. Wearing his fairy wings, Zeke kneels beside one of the holes.

Zeke says, HELLO! FAIRY! IT'S ME, ZEKE. I'M GOING TO BUILD ONE FAIRY HOUSE FOR YOU AND ONE FOR EACH OF YOUR FRIENDS.

Zeke looks down the hole.

[Zeke sighing sadly]

Zeke says, GUESS THEY'RE STILL NOT HOME.

He grabs Snout off the pile of supplies in the wagon and puts him on the ground. Zeke dumps the supplies beside Snout and grabs one of the sticks.

Zeke says, THAT FAIRY WAS TINY, SO WE JUST NEED TO BUILD TINY HOUSES, SNOUT.

He stacks sticks in the shape of a square house with three walls. Zeke lays a large leaf over top.

[Wind gusting]

A gust of wind blows the leaf away. Zeke reaches for the leaf and knocks down the sticks. He frowns.

Zeke says, AW.

He starts restacking the sticks. Later in the day, he glues the sticks together. A trail of stones leads from the house to the hole in the ground and flowers lie against the house.

[Glue squirting]

Zeke lays leaves over the sticks and smiles. His gaze shifts to the many other holes in the ground and his eyes widen.

[Zeke groaning]

Zeke lies back on the ground. Snout falls back beside him.

Zeke says, THIS JOB IS TOO BIG, SNOUT.

Grandma Super walks over with a plate of fruit kabobs.

She says, LUNCH BREAK!

Grandma Super puts down the plate and looks around.

She asks, HOW'S IT GOING?

Zeke sits up and says, NOT GOOD. IT'S LUNCHTIME ALREADY, AND I'VE ONLY MADE ONE HOUSE.

[Zeke sighing sadly]

Zeke says, I STILL HAVE A TON MORE TO MAKE. IT'S GOING TO TAKE FOREVER.

Grandma Super says, SOUNDS LIKE A REALLY BIG JOB.

Zeke nods and gently squeezes Snout.

[Snout squeaking]

Zeke says, OKAY, SNOUT. HOW MANY HOUSES DO WE NEED TO MAKE?

He gently squeezes Snout.

[Snout squeaking]

Zeke says, GOOD IDEA. LET'S COUNT THE HOLES.

He walks over to one of the other holes.

Zeke counts, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR...

Zeke points to four of the holes. Grandma Super walks over.

Zeke says, UM...

Grandma Super counts, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN.

She points to the other holes. Zeke smiles.

Zeke says, THAT'S TEN HOLES, SO WE'LL NEED TO MAKE TEN HOUSES.

Grandma Super says, GREAT. NOW, WHAT LITTLE JOBS DO YOU NEED IN ORDER TO BUILD 10 FAIRY HOUSES?

Zeke says, FIRST, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THREE WALLS OUT OF STICKS.

Grandma Super draws three connected lines in the shape of a fairy house in the dirt with a stick.

Zeke says, THEN YOU HAVE TO GLUE THE WALLS TOGETHER, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO ADD A ROOF.

Grandma Super draws a bottle of glue and a triangle in the dirt.

She says, WHOA.

Zeke says, I KNOW, RIGHT? AND THERE'S MORE, BECAUSE THEN YOU HAVE DECORATE THE HOUSE. AND YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PATH FROM THE HOLE TO THE HOUSE SO THE FAIRIES CAN FIND THEIR HOUSE.

Grandma Super draws a flower and three small circles that lead to a larger circle.

She says, WHOA! SO, LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT, ONE, YOU MAKE THE WALLS, TWO, GLUE THEM TOGETHER, THREE, ADD A ROOF, FOUR, DECORATE THE HOUSE, AND FIVE, MAKE THE PATHS? WHOA!

Grandma Super writes numbers in the dirt above each drawing.

She says, THAT'S FIVE SMALL JOBS.

Zeke says, YEAH, AND THERE'S ONLY ONE LITTLE ME.

Grandma Super says, HMM. THERE WAS SOMETHING WE DID TO MAKE THE BIG JOB OF MAKING THOSE FRUIT KEBOBS EASIER.

She picks up a fruit kabob.

Grandma Super says, IF ONLY I COULD REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS.

[Grandma Super humming the Break It Down tune]

Zeke says, GRANDMA, I REMEMBER! IN EVERY BIG JOB, LITTLE JOBS CAN BE FOUND.

Zeke and Grandma Super both sing, WORK TOGETHER TO SOLVE THE LITTLE JOBS ONE BY ONE, AND YOU'LL GET THE BIG ONE DONE!

They high-five. Zeke rolls like a ball to a speaker in the Treebourhood tree.

Zeke says, CALLING ALL FRIENDS!

In Sammy’s house, Sammy looks at a speaker.

He says, I'M A FRIEND.

At JunJun’s house, JunJun sits on his front porch with his guitar.

Through a speaker, Zeke says, IF YOU WANT TO HELP BUILD FAIRY HOUSES, PLEASE COME ON DOWN.

JunJun smiles. He puts down his guitar and leaps off the porch.

At home, Zadie and Malik say, WE'RE COMING, ZEKE!

They ride a slide through the Treebouorhood.

[Malik imitating fanfare]

Sammy, JunJun, Zadie and Malik join Zeke.

JunJun says, WE HEARD YOU NEEDED HELP BUILDING FAIRY HOUSES.

Sammy says, I WAS VERY SURPRISED THAT THERE WERE FAIRY HOUSES IN THE TREEBORHOOD.

Zeke says, I THINK THEY JUST MOVED IN.

Malik says, UH, WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP?

Zeke says, I BROKE THE BIG JOB DOWN, AND THERE ARE FIVE SMALL JOBS TO DO.

He leads Zadie, Malik, Sammy and JunJun over to Grandma Super’s drawings.

Zeke says, ONE ZADIE, YOU BUILD THE WALLS OUT OF STICKS.

Zadie says, OOH, THAT'S A FUN JOB!

Zeke says, TWO MALIK, YOU GLUE THE WALLS TOGETHER.

Malik says, YOU GOT IT.

Zeke says, THREE SAMMY, YOU ADD THE LEAF ROOF.

He stands between Sammy and JunJun.

Zeke says, FOUR I'LL DECORATE THE HOUSES. AND FIVE JUNJUN, YOU GET TO MAKE THE PEBBLE PATHS FROM THE HOLES TO THE HOUSES.

JunJun cheers, YES!

Everyone runs to the pile of building supplies. Zeke trips on Sammy’s tail and falls onto the pile.

[Zeke grunting]

Zadie picks up half a stick.

She says, YOU BROKE MY STICK.

JunJun steps on a leaf.

Sammy says, YOU'RE ON MY LEAF.

JunJun says, OOPS, SORRY.

Zeke says, ALL MY FLOWERS GOT SMUSHED.

He sits with a pile of flattened flowers.

JunJun asks, WHERE ARE THE PEBBLES?

Sammy picks up pebbles with his tail. Malik walks into him. Malik stumbles and drops the glue. Zadie slips and drops her stick. They both bump into Sammy, who stumbles and drops the pebbles.

[Malik yelping]

[Zadie grunting]

JunJun catches Sammy.

Zadie grunts, OOF!

Zadie, Malik, Sammy, JunJun and Zeke lie in a pile on top of the building supplies.

Zeke says, WE BROKE THE BIG JOB DOWN INTO SMALL JOBS, SO WHY AREN'T WE GETTING IT DONE?

He and the others stand up. Malik dusts dirt off his sweater. Sammy scratches the back of his head. JunJun shakes a flower off his foot. Sammy spots the plate of fruit kabobs beside him.

Sammy asks, CAN I EAT THIS WHILE WE THINK? I THINK BETTER ON A FULL STOMACH.

Zeke looks thoughtful.

He smiles and says, FRUIT KEBOB!

Sammy says, YEP, THAT'S WHAT THIS IS.

Zeke says, NO, I MEAN WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM, LIKE THE THREE OF US DID WHEN WE MADE FRUIT KEBOBS.

A thought bubble shows Zeke, Zadie and Malik making fruit kabobs with Grandma Super. The bubble pops and Zeke grabs a pile of sticks.

Zadie says, FIRST, I'LL MAKE THE WALLS OUT OF ALL THESE STICKS.

Zeke passes Zadie the sticks.

Malik steps forward and says, THEN I'LL GLUE YOUR WALLS TOGETHER.

Sammy says, THEN I'LL ADD THE ROOF TO THE HOUSE.

Zeke says, THEN I'LL DECORATE THE HOUSE.

JunJun says, AND I'LL MAKE THE PATH.

Everyone stands in order of their tasks.

JunJun says, LET'S ROCK THIS!

[Everyone cheering]

[Upbeat music plays]

Zadie stacks three layers of sticks in the shape of a fairy house and Malik glues them together. Sammy takes Zadie’s place and puts leaves over the top as a roof.

[Wind gusting]

A gust of wind blows the leaves. Sammy grabs them, and Malik spreads a layer of glue on the sticks. Sammy glues the leaves to the sticks and passes the house to JunJun and Zeke. Zeke puts pink, blue and white flowers around the house and JunJun makes a path leading to a small hole in the ground out of pebbles.

[Upbeat music continues]

Zadie and Malik build another house. Sammy adds a roof and passes the house to JunJun. At another hole in the ground, Zeke adds flowers and JunJun makes a path to the hole. Zadie, Malike, Zeke, Sammy and JunJun build more fairy houses around the rest of the holes.

Later in the day, Zeke says, WE DID IT! WE BUILT ALL THE HOUSES!

[Everyone cheering]

Zeke says, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

Sammy says, NO PROBLEM. SEE YOU.

He leaves.

JunJun says, GOT TO HEAD HOME FOR DINNER.

[JunJun speaking Tagalong]

JunJun waves and flies away. Zadie, Zeke and Malik wave. Grandma Super rolls up beside them on her windsurfing skateboard. Wearing her helmet, she steps off the board.

Grandma Super says, LOOK AT THESE ADORABLE LITTLE HOUSES AND THESE CUTE LITTLE PATHS!

Zeke says, WE WORKED TOGETHER AS A TEAM AND…

He, Zadie and Malik sing, BROKE, BROKE, BROKE IT DOWN!

Zadie says, AND GOT THE BIG JOB DONE.

Grandma Super says, ALRIGHT, MY LITTLE SQUISHES. LET'S GO HOME. IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO YOUR BEDTIME.

Zeke says, BUT WE WANT TO SEE IF THE FAIRIES LIKE THEIR HOUSES WHEN THEY COME HOME. SO CAN WE PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CAMP OUT HERE TONIGHT?

Zadie and Malik stand on either side of Zeke.

They all say, PLEASE?

They look at Grandma Super hopefully.

Grandma Super says, A CHANCE TO SEE FAIRIES?! ARE YOU KIDDING? I'LL GO GRAB OUR CAMPING GEAR!

At night, the crescent moon shines brightly in the sky.

[Snoring]

Zadie, Malik and Grandma Super sleep in sleeping bags beside the Treebourhood tree. Zeke lies awake beside a brightly shining lantern. He looks over at two of the fairy houses and then closes his eyes.

[Buzzing]

Zeke opens his eyes and says, HEY!

A winged creature looks toward the fairy houses.

Zeke says, IT'S THE FAIRY!

The creature, a bee wearing a bow tie, lands beside one of the houses.

[Bee whistling]

Four other bees fly out of the holes in the ground.

Zeke quietly says, THE FAIRIES! THE FAIRIES ARE HERE! WAKE UP!

Grandma Super, Zadie and Malike wake up.

[Zadie yawning]

[Bee gasping]

The bee wearing a bowtie says, FAIRIES? WHERE?

The bee looks at itself.

The bee says, OH.

[Bee giggling]

The bee says, YOU MEANT US. ACTUALLY, WE'RE NOT FAIRIES.

The bees gather between two houses.

The bee wearing a bowtie says, WE'RE BEES!

The other bees wave. Zeke climbs out of his sleeping bag.

He says, OH.

Zeke frowns.

The bee wearing a bowtie says, WE COME UP HERE EVERY NIGHT TO DANCE IN THE MOONLIGHT.

The bee flies over the fairy houses. Zadie and Malik stand beside Zeke.

Zeke says, DANCING BEES? THAT'S EVEN BETTER THAN FAIRIES!

Zadie runs over to the bees.

She asks, SO, WHAT'S DOWN THERE?

The bee wearing a bowtie says, THE UNDERGROUNDBORHOOD.

Zadie says, THE UNDERGROUNDBORHOOD?

Malik joins Zadie and asks, WHAT'S THAT?

The bee says, COME BY HERE TOMORROW MORNING FIRST THING, AND WE'LL SHOW YOU. RIGHT NOW, IT'S DANCING TIME!

[Light, cheerful music plays]

The group of bees dance in the air along with Zadie, Zeke, Malik and Grandma Super. During the day, Zadie, Zeke and Malik run down a ramp with Grandma Super.

Zadie says, COME ON. IT'S TIME TO VISIT THE UNDERGROUNDBORHOOD!

[Upbeat music plays]

Malik leads the way down a slide and meets the bee wearing a bowtie by the fairy houses. Malik, Zadie, Zeke and Grandma Super follow the bee to a tree stump near the Treebourhood. The bee knocks on the stump.

[Knocking]

The top of the tree stump opens and the bee flies inside.

[Squeaking]

Malik, Zadie, Zeke and Grandma Super follow the bee down a flight of stairs to a bee-sized neighbourhood.

Zadie says, WOAH!

Malik says, SO COOL!

Zeke says, WOW!

Grandma Super says, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.

Zadie says, THIS IS AMAZING.

The bee says, WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUNDBORHOOD! IT'S WHERE I LIVE.

Zeke says, BUT WAIT. IF YOU LIVE DOWN HERE, THEN YOU DON'T NEED THE HOUSES WE BUILT FOR YOU.

The bee says, OF COURSE WE DO. WE CAN USE THEM TO PLAY IN AND STAY IN WHEN WE VISIT YOU!

Grandma Super, Zadie, Zeke and Malik smile.

Zeke cheers, YES!

[Light, cheerful music plays]

Among the fairy houses, Zadie, Zeke and Malik dance with Grandma Super and their new bee friends.

[Cheerful music plays]
