Messy runs into the cloud ship, a cloud-shaped airship. Inside, he joins a blue-haired boy wearing a blue shirt and hat.
Messy shouts, FELIX!

A red-haired girl wearing red overalls and a red hat waves to Messy.
Messy shouts, ZOE!
Zoe high-fives Messy.

Messy says, GUESS WHAT I'M DRAWING.
IT'S ME!

[Sniffing]
Messy says, OOH!
He looks across the countertop at a blue sock sandwich.

He runs back to his drawing.

He looks at the drawing thoughtfully.
Messy says, I NEED A NOSE SO I CAN SNIFF

He grabs a red crayon and starts to draw on the face of his drawing. Messy flinches.
[Messy hiccupping]
He says, THAT HICCUP NEARLY MADE ME DO A
BIG SCRIBBLE OVER MY PICTURE!
Messy flinches and moves his crayon.
[Messy hiccupping]
[Messy groaning]
Messy says, I'LL TRY AGAIN.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy flinches and drags his crayon across the drawing.
Messy says, OH, I'LL NEVER FINISH MY DRAWING
IF I KEEP HICCUPPING!
GO AWAY, HICCUPS!
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy drops the crayon.
Messy says, HMM.
HOW CAN I GET RID OF MY HICCUPS?
WHEN YOU NEED TO KNOW, GO TO
OKIDO!
[Magical music plays]
A green and white tunnel transports Messy to Okido, where he falls through the sky onto spring platforms and off a trampoline toward Felix and Zoe’s house. Outside the house, Felix, Zoe and Zoom stand by a blanket hanging over a rope between two trees. Zoe waves.
Zoe says, HI, MESSY!
Felix says, LOOK WHAT WE MADE!
Messy says, I LOVE IT!
WHAT IS IT?
He runs over to Zoe and Felix.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy jumps, stumbles, and falls into the blanket.
[Messy grunting]
The blanket covers Messy.
[Zoe and Felix laughing]
[Zoom chittering]
Zoe says, OH, MESSY.
IT WAS A DEN!
Messy sits on the blanket.
Messy says, OOPS.
SORRY.
[Messy groaning]
Messy says, UH, HOW CAN I GET RID OF MY...
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy covers his mouth.
Zoe says, I HAD THEM ONCE, AND AN
ICY DRINK MADE THEM GO AWAY.
Messy says, OH!
I'LL ASK GEOFFREY TO MAKE ME AN
ICED SMOOTHIE WITH EXTRA SOCKS.
[Messy whistling]
Okidoodle rolls out of the garage attached to the house.
[Okidoodle honking]
Messy runs up to Okidoodle.
He says, LET'S...
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy says, ...SKIDOODLE!
He jumps in Okidoodle with Zoom.
Messy groans, AAH!
Zoe and Felix say, GOOD LUCK,
MESSY!
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy drives away in Okidoodle. In Okido, he drives up to Geoffrey’s ice cream shop. Inside, Zim and Zam sit at a table with plates of sausages, eggs, and bacon. Zim holds a jug containing a smoothie.
Zim asks, MORE STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE,
ZAM?
Zam says, YES, PLEASE!
Zim pours a strawberry smoothie into Zam’s glass. Elsewhere in the shop, Geoffrey carefully stacks a colourful, three-tier cake. Messy bursts through the door.
[Door banging]
[Messy hiccupping]
Zim spills a smoothie on Zam. Zam drops her glass.
[Splashing]
[Glass breaking]
Zam wipes the smoothie off her face with a napkin.
Messy says, HELLO!
I'VE GOT THE HICCUPS.
Zoom follows Messy inside.
Zam says, YES.
WE CAN HEAR THAT, MESSY.
[Geoffrey chuckling]
Geoffrey says, YES.
THEY'RE THE LOUDEST HICCUPS I'VE
EVER HEARD!
VERY IMPRESSIVE.
WHAT CAN I GET YOU?
Messy says, ONE ICED SMOOTHIE WITH EXTRA
SOCKS, PLEASE, GEOFFREY.
IT'S FOR MY HICCUPS.
Geoffrey says, COMING RIGHT UP!
He turns to a robot with a blender on its head
[Robot whirring]
Messy says, HUH.
I WONDER HOW I GOT THE HICCUPS
IN THE FIRST PLACE.
[Zoom chittering]
Zam says, YES,
I CAN HELP WITH THAT.
YOU GET THEM WHEN YOU EAT OR
DRINK TOO QUICKLY.
Messy says, I DID EAT MY SOCK SANDWICH
SUPER FAST.
IT WAS JUST SO TASTY!
Zam says, YES, YES.
THERE.
WE'LL PUT THAT –
She moves the bacon, eggs and sausage around on her plate so the two sausages connect to two piles of scrambled eggs with a line of bacon underneath.
Zam says, HICCUPS HAPPEN WHEN THE MUSCLE
BELOW THE LUNGS GOES INTO SPASM.
She wiggles the piece of bacon.
[Zam imitating a wiggle sound]
Zim explains, WHICH MEANS IT GETS TWITCHY.
Zam says, IT FORCES AIR OUT OF THE
LUNGS, INTO A –
[Messy hiccupping]
Geoffrey squirts icing from a piping bag, and it flies over his cake.
[Squirting]
Geoffrey groans, OHH.
The smoothie robot says, ONE ICED SMOOTHIE, EXTRA
SOCKS.
It places a smoothie with socks hanging over the glass in front of Messy.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy says, THANKS!
SAY GOODBYE, HICCUPS!
He slurps the smoothie.
[Slurping]
Messy looks around the shop.
He says, IT WORKED!
THEY'RE GONE!
[Everyone cheering]
Messy drinks more of his smoothie.
[Slurping]
Messy sighs, AH.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy flinches and throws his glass.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy’s glass hits Geoffrey’s cake plate and launches the cake tiers into the air.
[Clanging]
[Geoffrey yelping]
The cake tiers split apart. The top lands on Zim and Zam’s table and splatters them with orange icing.
[Splattering]
[Whirring]
The bottom cake tier hits Geoffrey in the face.
[Geoffrey yelping]
[Splattering]
Messy says, OOPS.
The bottom cake layer slides down Geoffrey’s cake. Blue icing covers Geoffrey’s face.
Messy says, SORRY.
IT DIDN'T WORK.
[Zoom chittering]
Geoffrey says, OH!
Zam says, OH, YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
PERHAPS YOU SHOULD TRY TO GET
RID OF YOUR HICCUPS OUTSIDE,
MESSY.
Messy stands outside with Zoom. The shop door closes behind them.
Messy says, OH, I CAN'T JUST WAIT FOR MY
HICCUPS TO GO AWAY.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING I CAN DO
TO GET RID OF THEM.
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom points toward the street with his body. Tweedy walks toward Messy and Zoom with a camera.
Messy says, MAYBE TWEEDY CAN HELP!
He runs toward Tweedy. Zoom follows.
Messy says, HELLO, TWEED –
[Messy hiccupping]
[Tweedy yelping]
[Tweedy laughing]
Tweedy says, YOUR HICCUPS MADE ME JUMP,
MESSY!
Messy asks, DO YOU KNOW HOW I CAN GET RID
OF THEM?
Tweedy says, HMM.
SOME FRESH MOUNTAIN AIR MIGHT
HELP!
I'M ON MY WAY THERE NOW TO TAKE
PHOTOS OF THE WILDLIFE.
WANT TO COME?
Messy says, OH, YES, PLEASE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS!
[Gentle, joyful music plays]
[Birds chirping]
In the mountains, Tweedy and Messy walk up a trail. Zoom follows.
Tweedy says, OH, THE AIR IS LOVELY UP
HERE!
INHALE...
[Tweedy inhaling slowly]
Tweedy says, ...EXHALE.
[Tweedy exhaling slowly]
[Messy inhaling and exhaling slowly]
Messy says, OOH, IT'S DELICIOUS!
I HOPE IT GETS RID OF MY

[Zoom chittering]
Messy cheers, IT WORKED!
BA-LA-BA-LA BOOM-BOOM!
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom transforms into the shape of a hand and high-fives Messy. Zoom returns to his normal shape.
Tweedy says, EXCELLENT!
NOW YOU'RE HICCUP-FREE, WE CAN
SPOT SOME WILDLIFE!
YEAH, BUT WE HAVE TO BE QUIET.
Messy says, HUH?
Tweedy whispers, QUIET.
Messy loudly says, I CAN BE QUIET!
[Messy’s voice echoing]
Tweedy covers her ears. Messy covers his mouth.
Messy says, OOPS.
Tweedy leads Messy and Zoom to a patch of rocks.
[Birds chirping]
Tweedy quietly says, OH, LOOK.
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW FINCH!
Messy tiptoes toward the rainbow finch, a rainbow-coloured bird, in a tree.
Tweedy says, THEY'RE VERY RARE.
I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE IN OKIDO
BEFORE.
[Rainbow Finch chirping]
Messy covers his mouth.
Tweedy says I MUST GET A PHOTOGRAPH.
[Messy hiccupping]
The rainbow finch flies away.
[Leaves rustling]
[Wings flapping]
Tweedy says, AW, MESSY.
Messy walks back to Tweedy.
Tweedy says, HE'S FLOWN AWAY.
Messy says, OOPS.
BAD HICCUPS.
DON'T DO THAT AGAIN.
He rubs his belly.
Tweedy says, AW, MESSY.
Messy says, OH, THE FRESH DIDN'T GET RID
OF MY HICCUPS!
MAYBE I NEED TO TAKE MORE DEEP
BREATHS FOR IT TO WORK.
[Messy slowly inhaling and exhaling]
[Birds chirping]
[Bleating]
Two deer stand by a lake. Tweedy runs over with her camera. Messy and Zoom follow.
[Messy starting to hiccup]
Messy covers his mouth. The two deer look up. Tweedy raises her camera.
[Messy hiccupping]
The deer run away. Tweedy takes a picture.
[Camera clicking]
Messy and Tweedy look disappointed.
Messy says SORRY.
MY HICCUPS ARE SCARING OFF ALL
THE ANIMALS.
[Zoom chittering]
[Messy groaning]

[Messy’s tummy rumbling]

[Zoom chittering]
Messy asks, WHAT IF THEY NEVER GO AWAY?
Tweedy lays her paw on Messy.

YOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
WE CAN STILL ENJOY OUR WALK.
Later in the mountains, Messy walks along a cliffside behind Tweedy and Zoom.
Messy says, I HAVEN'T HICCUPPED FOR AGES.
Tweedy says, OOH!
OH, LOOK!
She walks up to a patch of orange flowers.
[Messy starting to hiccup]
Messy covers his mouth. Tweedy points her camera at the flowers.
[Messy straining]
[Messy hiccupping loudly]
[Messy’s hiccup echoing]
[Dramatic music plays]
Boulders at the top of the cliff break loose and fall.
[Boulders clattering]
The boulders land between two cliffsides.
Tweedy says, OH, NO.
THE PATH IS BLOCKED.
Messy says, AH…
He follows Tweedy to the fallen boulders with Zoom.
Tweedy says, THAT WAS A BIG HICCUP.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy asks, HOW WILL WE GET BACK TO OKIDO
CITY?
Tweedy walks down another path.
She says, IF WE FOLLOW THIS PATH,
RIGHT, IT'LL TAKE US ALL THE WAY
THERE.
THIS WAY.
Tweedy jogs down across a field with Messy and Zoom.
[Rumbling]
Tweedy stops suddenly and puts out her paw. Messy skids to a stop beside Tweedy.
[Zoom chittering]
[Rumbling]
Messy says, OH, HEY.
WHAT'S THAT FUNNY NOISE?
Tweedy quietly says, IT MUST BE AN ANIMAL.
LET'S BE QUIET SO WE DON'T
STARTLE IT.
Messy whispers, I'LL BE QUIET,
BUT MY HICCUPS MIGHT NOT BE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy and Zoom follow Tweedy around the side of a mountain.
Tweedy says, OH, DEAR.
WHEN YOU HICCUPPED, THESE ROCKS
MUST HAVE FALLEN, TOO.
[Snoring]
A rock monster wearing blue overalls sleeps between two mountains. The monster blocks the path.
Messy says, HUH?
ROCKS DON'T USUALLY SNORE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy walks toward the rock monster.
Tweedy whispers, AH, NO.
DON'T GET TOO CLOSE!
[Rock monster snoring]
Messy whispers, IT'S A VERY OLD, VERY SLEEPY
ROCK MONSTER.
Tweedy and Zoom join Messy.
Messy quietly says, I'LL ASK HIM TO MOVE.
Tweedy grabs Messy’s arm.
Tweedy quietly says, WELL, DON'T WAKE HIM.
HE MIGHT NOT BE VERY FRIENDLY.
Messy says, BUT HE'S IN OUR WAY!
Tweedy runs up to the rock monster. Messy and Zoom follow.
Tweedy says, THERE'S JUST ENOUGH ROOM TO
SQUEEZE BY IF WE TIPTOE QUIETLY.
THAT MEANS NO HICCUPS, MESSY.
[Snoring continues]
Messy grumbles, HMM.
He looks at his belly.

[Rock monster snorting]
The rock monster repositions himself.
Messy quietly says, THAT WAS CLOSE!
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, I'LL HOLD MY HICCUPS IN LIKE
THIS.
Messy closes his mouth and holds his finger over his lips.
Messy says, HMM.
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy says, GOOD IDEA.
FOLLOW ME.
She leads Messy and Zoom toward a space between where the mountain and where the rock monster rests his head.
[Zoom chittering]
[Snoring continues]
Tweedy tiptoes through the space to the other side of the rock monster. Zoom follows.
Tweedy says, AH!
OH, WE MADE IT!
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy looks around.
She says, WHERE'S MESSY?
Beside the rock monster’s face, Messy covers his mouth with his paws.
[Stifling a hiccup]
[Grumbling]
[Messy straining]
Tweedy and Zoom join Messy. Messy lowers his paws. Zoom transforms into the shape of a hand giving a thumbs-up.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy frowns.
[Dramatic music plays]
[Messy stifling a hiccup]
Tweedy says, MESSY, NO!
[Messy hiccupping loudly]
Tweedy stumbles back.
[Hiccup echoing]
[Zoom chittering]
A boulder at the top of the cliffside wobbles loose and tumbles over the edge.
[Boulder clattering]
The boulder bounces off the rock monster’s leg and head.
[Clanging]
Tweedy, Zoom, and Messy look worried.
[Tweedy whimpering]
[Rock monster groaning]
The rock monster wakes up. He slowly stands.
Tweedy says, OH, NO.
HE'S WAKENED!
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy says, OH, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
The rock monster reaches toward Tweedy, Messy and Zoom. Tweedy, Messy and Zoom run away. The rock monster pats the ground around them and picks up Messy.
[Messy yelping]
Messy yells, HEY!
I'M NOT YOUR LUNCH.
Tweedy says, OH, YOU NAUGHTY ROCK MONSTER!
PUT HIM DOWN AT ONCE!
Zoom glares at the rock monster. The rock monster squints and puts Messy on his nose.
[Messy yelping]
The rock monster says, OOH.
YOU'RE NOT ME GLASSES.
DID YOU WAKE ME UP?
Messy says, IT WASN'T ME.
IT WAS MY HICCUPS!
The rock monster gently puts Messy back on the ground.
[Rock monster chuckling]
[Zoom chittering]
The rock monster says, I'M GLAD THEY DID!
I WAS BLOCKING THE PATH.
I'M CRAGGY.
NICE TO MEET YOU ALL.
Messy says, OH, NICE TO MEET YOU, TOO.
I'M GLAD YOU'RE A FRIENDLY
MONSTER, LIKE ME!
Craggy says, ALL ROCK MONSTERS ARE
FRIENDLY.
NOW, WHERE DID I PUT MY GLASSES?
Craggy squints as he looks around.
Messy says, WE'LL HELP YOU FIND THEM.
He jumps up onto Craggy’s shoulder.
Messy says, AHA!
FOUND THEM!
Craggy spots a large pair of glasses on a tree.
[Craggy chuckling]
Craggy grabs the glasses. He puts them on.
He says, THANK YOU.
THAT'S MUCH BETTER!
Messy jumps off Craggy’s shoulder.
Craggy says, I CAN SEE YOU ALL CLEARLY NOW.
Tweedy asks, MESSY, DID YOU NOTICE YOU
HAVEN'T HICCUPPED FOR A WHILE?
Messy says, THEY'RE FINALLY GONE.
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom transforms into a horn.
[Zoom playing fanfare]
Messy says, I JUST NEEDED TO BE PATIENT.
[Tweedy laughing]
Tweedy says, OH, MESSY, THAT'S WHAT I
SAID!
Messy says, I'M GOING TO GO HOME NOW AND

He waves. Messy returns to the kitchen island.

[Magical music plays]
A green and white tunnel transports Messy to Okido, where he falls through the sky onto spring platforms and off a trampoline toward Felix and Zoe’s house. Outside the house, Felix, Zoe and Zoom stand by a blanket hanging over a rope between two trees. Zoe waves.
Zoe says, HI, MESSY!
Felix says, LOOK WHAT WE MADE!
Messy says, I LOVE IT!
WHAT IS IT?
He runs over to Zoe and Felix.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy jumps, stumbles, and falls into the blanket.
[Messy grunting]
The blanket covers Messy.
[Zoe and Felix laughing]
[Zoom chittering]
Zoe says, OH, MESSY.
IT WAS A DEN!
Messy sits on the blanket.
Messy says, OOPS.
SORRY.
[Messy groaning]
Messy says, UH, HOW CAN I GET RID OF MY...
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy covers his mouth.
Zoe says, I HAD THEM ONCE, AND AN
ICY DRINK MADE THEM GO AWAY.
Messy says, OH!
I'LL ASK GEOFFREY TO MAKE ME AN
ICED SMOOTHIE WITH EXTRA SOCKS.
[Messy whistling]
Okidoodle rolls out of the garage attached to the house.
[Okidoodle honking]
Messy runs up to Okidoodle.
He says, LET'S...
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy says, ...SKIDOODLE!
He jumps in Okidoodle with Zoom.
Messy groans, AAH!
Zoe and Felix say, GOOD LUCK,
MESSY!
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy drives away in Okidoodle. In Okido, he drives up to Geoffrey’s ice cream shop. Inside, Zim and Zam sit at a table with plates of sausages, eggs, and bacon. Zim holds a jug containing a smoothie.
Zim asks, MORE STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE,
ZAM?
Zam says, YES, PLEASE!
Zim pours a strawberry smoothie into Zam’s glass. Elsewhere in the shop, Geoffrey carefully stacks a colourful, three-tier cake. Messy bursts through the door.
[Door banging]
[Messy hiccupping]
Zim spills a smoothie on Zam. Zam drops her glass.
[Splashing]
[Glass breaking]
Zam wipes the smoothie off her face with a napkin.
Messy says, HELLO!
I'VE GOT THE HICCUPS.
Zoom follows Messy inside.
Zam says, YES.
WE CAN HEAR THAT, MESSY.
[Geoffrey chuckling]
Geoffrey says, YES.
THEY'RE THE LOUDEST HICCUPS I'VE
EVER HEARD!
VERY IMPRESSIVE.
WHAT CAN I GET YOU?
Messy says, ONE ICED SMOOTHIE WITH EXTRA
SOCKS, PLEASE, GEOFFREY.
IT'S FOR MY HICCUPS.
Geoffrey says, COMING RIGHT UP!
He turns to a robot with a blender on its head
[Robot whirring]
Messy says, HUH.
I WONDER HOW I GOT THE HICCUPS
IN THE FIRST PLACE.
[Zoom chittering]
Zam says, YES,
I CAN HELP WITH THAT.
YOU GET THEM WHEN YOU EAT OR
DRINK TOO QUICKLY.
Messy says, I DID EAT MY SOCK SANDWICH
SUPER FAST.
IT WAS JUST SO TASTY!
Zam says, YES, YES.
THERE.
WE'LL PUT THAT –
She moves the bacon, eggs and sausage around on her plate so the two sausages connect to two piles of scrambled eggs with a line of bacon underneath.
Zam says, HICCUPS HAPPEN WHEN THE MUSCLE
BELOW THE LUNGS GOES INTO SPASM.
She wiggles the piece of bacon.
[Zam imitating a wiggle sound]
Zim explains, WHICH MEANS IT GETS TWITCHY.
Zam says, IT FORCES AIR OUT OF THE
LUNGS, INTO A –
[Messy hiccupping]
Geoffrey squirts icing from a piping bag, and it flies over his cake.
[Squirting]
Geoffrey groans, OHH.
The smoothie robot says, ONE ICED SMOOTHIE, EXTRA
SOCKS.
It places a smoothie with socks hanging over the glass in front of Messy.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy says, THANKS!
SAY GOODBYE, HICCUPS!
He slurps the smoothie.
[Slurping]
Messy looks around the shop.
He says, IT WORKED!
THEY'RE GONE!
[Everyone cheering]
Messy drinks more of his smoothie.
[Slurping]
Messy sighs, AH.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy flinches and throws his glass.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy’s glass hits Geoffrey’s cake plate and launches the cake tiers into the air.
[Clanging]
[Geoffrey yelping]
The cake tiers split apart. The top lands on Zim and Zam’s table and splatters them with orange icing.
[Splattering]
[Whirring]
The bottom cake tier hits Geoffrey in the face.
[Geoffrey yelping]
[Splattering]
Messy says, OOPS.
The bottom cake layer slides down Geoffrey’s cake. Blue icing covers Geoffrey’s face.
Messy says, SORRY.
IT DIDN'T WORK.
[Zoom chittering]
Geoffrey says, OH!
Zam says, OH, YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
PERHAPS YOU SHOULD TRY TO GET
RID OF YOUR HICCUPS OUTSIDE,
MESSY.
Messy stands outside with Zoom. The shop door closes behind them.
Messy says, OH, I CAN'T JUST WAIT FOR MY
HICCUPS TO GO AWAY.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING I CAN DO
TO GET RID OF THEM.
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom points toward the street with his body. Tweedy walks toward Messy and Zoom with a camera.
Messy says, MAYBE TWEEDY CAN HELP!
He runs toward Tweedy. Zoom follows.
Messy says, HELLO, TWEED –
[Messy hiccupping]
[Tweedy yelping]
[Tweedy laughing]
Tweedy says, YOUR HICCUPS MADE ME JUMP,
MESSY!
Messy asks, DO YOU KNOW HOW I CAN GET RID
OF THEM?
Tweedy says, HMM.
SOME FRESH MOUNTAIN AIR MIGHT
HELP!
I'M ON MY WAY THERE NOW TO TAKE
PHOTOS OF THE WILDLIFE.
WANT TO COME?
Messy says, OH, YES, PLEASE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS!
[Gentle, joyful music plays]
[Birds chirping]
In the mountains, Tweedy and Messy walk up a trail. Zoom follows.
Tweedy says, OH, THE AIR IS LOVELY UP
HERE!
INHALE...
[Tweedy inhaling slowly]
Tweedy says, ...EXHALE.
[Tweedy exhaling slowly]
[Messy inhaling and exhaling slowly]
Messy says, OOH, IT'S DELICIOUS!
I HOPE IT GETS RID OF MY
HICCUPS.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy cheers, IT WORKED!
BA-LA-BA-LA BOOM-BOOM!
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom transforms into the shape of a hand and high-fives Messy. Zoom returns to his normal shape.
Tweedy says, EXCELLENT!
NOW YOU'RE HICCUP-FREE, WE CAN
SPOT SOME WILDLIFE!
YEAH, BUT WE HAVE TO BE QUIET.
Messy says, HUH?
Tweedy whispers, QUIET.
Messy loudly says, I CAN BE QUIET!
[Messy’s voice echoing]
Tweedy covers her ears. Messy covers his mouth.
Messy says, OOPS.
Tweedy leads Messy and Zoom to a patch of rocks.
[Birds chirping]
Tweedy quietly says, OH, LOOK.
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW FINCH!
Messy tiptoes toward the rainbow finch, a rainbow-coloured bird, in a tree.
Tweedy says, THEY'RE VERY RARE.
I'VE NEVER SEEN ONE IN OKIDO
BEFORE.
[Rainbow Finch chirping]
Messy covers his mouth.
Tweedy says I MUST GET A PHOTOGRAPH.
[Messy hiccupping]
The rainbow finch flies away.
[Leaves rustling]
[Wings flapping]
Tweedy says, AW, MESSY.
Messy walks back to Tweedy.
Tweedy says, HE'S FLOWN AWAY.
Messy says, OOPS.
BAD HICCUPS.
DON'T DO THAT AGAIN.
He rubs his belly.
Tweedy says, AW, MESSY.
Messy says, OH, THE FRESH DIDN'T GET RID
OF MY HICCUPS!
MAYBE I NEED TO TAKE MORE DEEP
BREATHS FOR IT TO WORK.
[Messy slowly inhaling and exhaling]
[Birds chirping]
[Bleating]
Two deer stand by a lake. Tweedy runs over with her camera. Messy and Zoom follow.
[Messy starting to hiccup]
Messy covers his mouth. The two deer look up. Tweedy raises her camera.
[Messy hiccupping]
The deer run away. Tweedy takes a picture.
[Camera clicking]
Messy and Tweedy look disappointed.
Messy says SORRY.
MY HICCUPS ARE SCARING OFF ALL
THE ANIMALS.
[Zoom chittering]
[Messy groaning]
Messy says, TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT,
HICCUPS!
STOP TWITCHING, NAUGHTY MUSCLE!
[Messy’s tummy rumbling]
[Messy hiccupping]
[Messy groaning]
Messy says, I'VE HAD THE HICCUPS FOREVER!
[Zoom chittering]
Messy asks, WHAT IF THEY NEVER GO AWAY?
Tweedy lays her paw on Messy.
Tweedy says, AH, THEY WILL, SOONER OR
LATER.
YOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
WE CAN STILL ENJOY OUR WALK.
Later in the mountains, Messy walks along a cliffside behind Tweedy and Zoom.
Messy says, I HAVEN'T HICCUPPED FOR AGES.
Tweedy says, OOH!
OH, LOOK!
She walks up to a patch of orange flowers.
[Messy starting to hiccup]
Messy covers his mouth. Tweedy points her camera at the flowers.
[Messy straining]
[Messy hiccupping loudly]
[Messy’s hiccup echoing]
[Dramatic music plays]
Boulders at the top of the cliff break loose and fall.
[Boulders clattering]
The boulders land between two cliffsides.
Tweedy says, OH, NO.
THE PATH IS BLOCKED.
Messy says, AH…
He follows Tweedy to the fallen boulders with Zoom.
Tweedy says, THAT WAS A BIG HICCUP.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy asks, HOW WILL WE GET BACK TO OKIDO
CITY?
Tweedy walks down another path.
She says, IF WE FOLLOW THIS PATH,
RIGHT, IT'LL TAKE US ALL THE WAY
THERE.
THIS WAY.
Tweedy jogs down across a field with Messy and Zoom.
[Rumbling]
Tweedy stops suddenly and puts out her paw. Messy skids to a stop beside Tweedy.
[Zoom chittering]
[Rumbling]
Messy says, OH, HEY.
WHAT'S THAT FUNNY NOISE?
Tweedy quietly says, IT MUST BE AN ANIMAL.
LET'S BE QUIET SO WE DON'T
STARTLE IT.
Messy whispers, I'LL BE QUIET,
BUT MY HICCUPS MIGHT NOT BE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy and Zoom follow Tweedy around the side of a mountain.
Tweedy says, OH, DEAR.
WHEN YOU HICCUPPED, THESE ROCKS
MUST HAVE FALLEN, TOO.
[Snoring]
A rock monster wearing blue overalls sleeps between two mountains. The monster blocks the path.
Messy says, HUH?
ROCKS DON'T USUALLY SNORE.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy walks toward the rock monster.
Tweedy whispers, AH, NO.
DON'T GET TOO CLOSE!
[Rock monster snoring]
Messy whispers, IT'S A VERY OLD, VERY SLEEPY
ROCK MONSTER.
Tweedy and Zoom join Messy.
Messy quietly says, I'LL ASK HIM TO MOVE.
Tweedy grabs Messy’s arm.
Tweedy quietly says, WELL, DON'T WAKE HIM.
HE MIGHT NOT BE VERY FRIENDLY.
Messy says, BUT HE'S IN OUR WAY!
Tweedy runs up to the rock monster. Messy and Zoom follow.
Tweedy says, THERE'S JUST ENOUGH ROOM TO
SQUEEZE BY IF WE TIPTOE QUIETLY.
THAT MEANS NO HICCUPS, MESSY.
[Snoring continues]
Messy grumbles, HMM.
He looks at his belly.
Messy says, DID YOU HEAR THAT, HICCUPS?
YOU HAVE TO SHUSH.
[Rock monster snorting]
The rock monster repositions himself.
Messy quietly says, THAT WAS CLOSE!
[Zoom chittering]
Messy says, I'LL HOLD MY HICCUPS IN LIKE
THIS.
Messy closes his mouth and holds his finger over his lips.
Messy says, HMM.
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy says, GOOD IDEA.
FOLLOW ME.
She leads Messy and Zoom toward a space between where the mountain and where the rock monster rests his head.
[Zoom chittering]
[Snoring continues]
Tweedy tiptoes through the space to the other side of the rock monster. Zoom follows.
Tweedy says, AH!
OH, WE MADE IT!
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy looks around.
She says, WHERE'S MESSY?
Beside the rock monster’s face, Messy covers his mouth with his paws.
[Stifling a hiccup]
[Grumbling]
[Messy straining]
Tweedy and Zoom join Messy. Messy lowers his paws. Zoom transforms into the shape of a hand giving a thumbs-up.
[Zoom chittering]
Messy frowns.
[Dramatic music plays]
[Messy stifling a hiccup]
Tweedy says, MESSY, NO!
[Messy hiccupping loudly]
Tweedy stumbles back.
[Hiccup echoing]
[Zoom chittering]
A boulder at the top of the cliffside wobbles loose and tumbles over the edge.
[Boulder clattering]
The boulder bounces off the rock monster’s leg and head.
[Clanging]
Tweedy, Zoom, and Messy look worried.
[Tweedy whimpering]
[Rock monster groaning]
The rock monster wakes up. He slowly stands.
Tweedy says, OH, NO.
HE'S WAKENED!
[Zoom chittering]
Tweedy says, OH, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
The rock monster reaches toward Tweedy, Messy and Zoom. Tweedy, Messy and Zoom run away. The rock monster pats the ground around them and picks up Messy.
[Messy yelping]
Messy yells, HEY!
I'M NOT YOUR LUNCH.
Tweedy says, OH, YOU NAUGHTY ROCK MONSTER!
PUT HIM DOWN AT ONCE!
Zoom glares at the rock monster. The rock monster squints and puts Messy on his nose.
[Messy yelping]
The rock monster says, OOH.
YOU'RE NOT ME GLASSES.
DID YOU WAKE ME UP?
Messy says, IT WASN'T ME.
IT WAS MY HICCUPS!
The rock monster gently puts Messy back on the ground.
[Rock monster chuckling]
[Zoom chittering]
The rock monster says, I'M GLAD THEY DID!
I WAS BLOCKING THE PATH.
I'M CRAGGY.
NICE TO MEET YOU ALL.
Messy says, OH, NICE TO MEET YOU, TOO.
I'M GLAD YOU'RE A FRIENDLY
MONSTER, LIKE ME!
Craggy says, ALL ROCK MONSTERS ARE
FRIENDLY.
NOW, WHERE DID I PUT MY GLASSES?
Craggy squints as he looks around.
Messy says, WE'LL HELP YOU FIND THEM.
He jumps up onto Craggy’s shoulder.
Messy says, AHA!
FOUND THEM!
Craggy spots a large pair of glasses on a tree.
[Craggy chuckling]
Craggy grabs the glasses. He puts them on.
He says, THANK YOU.
THAT'S MUCH BETTER!
Messy jumps off Craggy’s shoulder.
Craggy says, I CAN SEE YOU ALL CLEARLY NOW.
Tweedy asks, MESSY, DID YOU NOTICE YOU
HAVEN'T HICCUPPED FOR A WHILE?
Messy says, THEY'RE FINALLY GONE.
[Zoom chittering]
Zoom transforms into a horn.
[Zoom playing fanfare]
Messy says, I JUST NEEDED TO BE PATIENT.
[Tweedy laughing]
Tweedy says, OH, MESSY, THAT'S WHAT I
SAID!
Messy says, I'M GOING TO GO HOME NOW AND
FINISH MY DRAWING.
BYE-BYE.
Tweedy says, SEE YOU SOON!
Craggy says, CHEERIO!
He waves. Messy returns to the kitchen island.
He says, I DON'T HAVE THE HICCUPS
ANYMORE!
I'LL EAT SLOWER NEXT TIME.
[Cheerful music plays]
Messy says, WHEN I ATE MY SANDWICH TOO FAST,
IT MADE THE MUSCLE UNDER MY
LUNGS GET TWITCHY.
IT SQUEEZED THE AIR OUT INTO
LOTS OF HICCUPS.
[Messy hiccupping]
Messy says, YOU CAN'T MAKE HICCUPS GO AWAY.
YOU HAVE TO JUST BE PATIENT AND
WAIT FOR THEM TO STOP.
He runs back to his drawing.
Messy says, OH.
He draws glasses over his eyes with a red line across his face.
[Crayon scrawling]
Messy says, YEAH!
HMM.
I LOOK PRETTY GOOD IN GLASSES.
[Upbeat music plays]
Messy sings, BA-LA-BA-LA-BOOM-BOOM!
