Gran Gran peels the strip of paper off a piece of cardboard and reveals a line of sticky tape.
[Scraping]
Gran Gran says, OOH!
JoJo asks, WHY ARE WE TAKING STICKY CARDBOARD INTO THE WOODS?
Raya says, THEY'RE JOURNEY STICKS, JOJO.
Reeni says, THEY'RE A WAY TO RECORD YOUR
ADVENTURE, SO AS YOU WALK
THROUGH THE WOODS, YOU CAN PICK
UP INTERESTING THINGS ALONG THE
WAY...
Raya says, AND STICK THEM ONTO
YOUR JOURNEY STICK.
Reeni says, THEN, WHEN WE MEET BACK HERE,
WE CAN LOOK AT ALL OF THE
DIFFERENT ADVENTURES THAT
EVERYBODY HAS HAD.
JoJo says, I WONDER WHAT WE'LL FIND IN

JoJo picks up a piece of silver birch bark and puts it on the journey stick.
JoJo says, THIS BIT CAN GO ON OUR JOURNEY STICK, PANDA.
JoJo and Gran Gran walk on a dirt path. Bluebells line either side of the path.
[Gran Gran gasps]
JoJo says, GRAN GRAN! THE FLOOR IS BLUE!
Gran Gran says, OH, IT'S COVERED IN BLUEBELLS, JOJO.
JoJo asks, CAN I HAVE ONE FOR MY JOURNEY STICK?
Gran Gran says, WELL, WE CAN'T PICK ANY.
BUT THESE HAVE FALLEN, SO WE
CAN STICK THESE ONES ON.
JoJo puts a bluebell on the journey stick. JoJo and Gran Gran walk on the path. JoJo picks up a leaf and attaches it to the journey stick. Next, she adds a seed to the journey stick.
[Upbeat music plays]
Gran Gran says, OOH, LOOK, JOJO.
JoJo says, A DEN!
Fallen branches lean against each other in a conical tent-shaped den. Isaiah walks out of the den.
Isaiah says, HIYA!
[Gasping, JoJo and Gran Gran giggle]

JoJo picks up a stick.
[Gran Gran chuckles, birds chirp]
Gran Gran picks up twigs.
Gran Gran says, THAT MIGHT BE A LITTLE BIT BIG. HOW ABOUT THESE?
Isaiah says, THANK YOU, GRAN GRAN!
JoJo says, THANKS, GRAN GRAN.
JoJo puts the twig on her journey stick.
The bearded man says, RIGHT, ISAIAH,
LET'S SEE WHAT ELSE WE CAN SPOT
BEFORE LUNCH.

Isaiah says, BYE, JOJO.
Gran Gran and JoJo say, BYE!
JoJo and Gran Gran stand on the path and look at holes in a hillside.

THERE ISN'T ANYTHING LEFT ON
THE JOURNEY STICK.
In the distance, Jaxon says, RAYA! ISAIAH!

Jaxon says, WE SAW THE BIGGEST TREE IN
THE WOOD. IT'S AN OAK.

BUT WE DID FIND A FEATHER,
WHICH MIGHT BE FROM AN OWL.
Isaiah says, WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE TO STICK ON OUR JOURNEY STICK.
JoJo says, WE COULD USE... THIS!
JoJo picks up a stick.
[Gran Gran chuckles, birds chirp]
Gran Gran picks up twigs.
Gran Gran says, THAT MIGHT BE A LITTLE BIT BIG. HOW ABOUT THESE?
Isaiah says, THANK YOU, GRAN GRAN!
JoJo says, THANKS, GRAN GRAN.
JoJo puts the twig on her journey stick.
The bearded man says, RIGHT, ISAIAH,
LET'S SEE WHAT ELSE WE CAN SPOT
BEFORE LUNCH.
SEE YOU LATER.
Isaiah says, BYE, JOJO.
Gran Gran and JoJo say, BYE!
JoJo and Gran Gran stand on the path and look at holes in a hillside.
JoJo says, OOH.
WHO MADE THESE HOLES,
GRAN GRAN?
Gran Gran says, I'LL GIVE YOU A CLUE.
Gran Gran holds her hands up to her head like long ears and then hops.
[Both giggle, playful music plays]
JoJo says, BUNNIES!
JoJo and Gran Gran hop.
Both say, BOING, BOING, BOING!
[JoJo giggles]
Gran Gran says, BOING, BOING!
JoJo says, BOING, BOING, BOING, BOING, BOING!
Gran Gran says, BOING, BOING...
Gran Gran stops hopping in a grassy field.
Gran Gran says, OOH, GOODNESS!
I'M A TIRED BUNNY.
AND A HUNGRY BUNNY TOO.
JoJo says, ME TOO.
Gran Gran asks, SHALL WE HEAD BACK FOR LUNCH?
JoJo says, YES, PLEASE.
UM, GRAN GRAN?
Gran Gran says, YES?
JoJo asks, WHICH WAY DO WE GO BACK?
Gran Gran says, UM...ER...UM...
JoJo asks, ARE WE LOST?
Gran Gran says, NO, WE'RE NOT LOST.
WE'VE JUST NOT BEEN TO THIS
PART OF THE WOODS BEFORE.
Gran Gran looks at the journey stick.
Gran Gran says, HMM.
I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A
GRAN GRAN PLAN!
[Triumphant music plays]
Gran Gran says, THE JOURNEY STICK
SHOWS ALL THE THINGS WE FOUND
ON OUR WAY HERE, SO WE CAN USE
IT TO FIND OUR WAY BACK.
JoJo says, LIKE A MAP.
A STICK MAP!
Gran Gran says, EXACTLY.
YOU LEAD THE WAY, JOJO.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO FIND FIRST?
JoJo says, UM...THE DEN!
[Upbeat music plays]
JoJo points to the twig. JoJo and Gran Gran walk back to the den. They walk back from where they came, past the bluebells and the silver birch woods.
JoJo says, HMM. WHICH WAY NOW, GRAN GRAN?
Gran Gran says, I'M NOT SURE.
THERE ISN'T ANYTHING LEFT ON
THE JOURNEY STICK.
In the distance, Jaxon says, RAYA! ISAIAH!
In the disance, Raya says, JAXON, LOOK WHAT I FOUND!
JoJo says, I CAN HEAR THEM! IT'S THIS WAY!
Raya says, LOOK AT MY JOURNEY STICK.
Gran Gran and JoJo find everyone by the picnic blanket.
Gran Gran says, OH!
JoJo says, HIYA!
Gran Gran says, GREAT TO FIND YOU!
A voice says, OH, HI!
Jaxon says, HIYA!
Reeni asks, SO HOW DID YOU ALL GET ON WITH YOUR JOURNEY STICKS?
The four children hold out their journey sticks.
Raya says, I HAVE A BLUEBELL TOO, JOJO.
JoJo says, WE MUST'VE GONE THE SAME WAY.
Reeni says, BUT WE DIDN'T SEE
THESE WHITE TREES, DID WE, RAYA?
JoJo says, THOSE ARE THE SILVER BIRCH TREES.
Jaxon says, WE SAW THE BIGGEST TREE IN
THE WOOD. IT'S AN OAK.
Isaiah says, AND WE FOUND AN OWL.
The bearded man says, WELL, SORT OF!
[Everyone laughs]
Gran Gran says, WELL, LOOKS LIKE WE'VE ALL
HAD DIFFERENT ADVENTURES, EVEN
THOUGH WE WERE IN THE SAME WOODS.
JoJo says, WE GOT LOST AND WE USED OUR
STICK AS A MAP TO FIND OUR WAY BACK.
[Gentle music plays]
Reeni says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA.
The black-haired man says, RIGHT, THEN. WHO'S HUNGRY?
Everyone shouts, ME!
[Someone cheers]
In live-action, five people walk on a dirt path. A girl with blonde hair in a ponytail walks between two men and holds their hands. The man on her left holds a toddler with her blond hair in a bun. The man has a shaved head and wears a green vest and white shirt with a hood. The man to her right is wearing a black vest, a yellow shirt, and a black shirt. His black hair is shaved short. He carries a stick in his right hand. Behind them, a grey-haired man walks a small white dog on a leash.
[Upbeat music plays, background chatter, birds chirp]
The blonde-haired girl narrates, I'M GOING
TO GO ON A WALK WITH MY FAMILY

A trail post has the number one and a star on it. The family walks on a narrow path with bluebells growing on either side.
The blonde-haired girl narrates, WHOA!
WOW, HERE'S SOME BEAUTIFUL
BLUE FLOWERS. THEY HAVE A
FLOWER SHAPED LIKE A BELL.
THEY'RE CALLED BLUEBELLS.
A trail post has the number two and a fox on it. The blonde-haired girl points at the path. The man carrying the stick walks beside her.
She says, DADDY, LOOK, I FOUND A
FEATHER.
IT FEELS REALLY SOFT AND
SMOOTH.
Her Daddy, the man carrying the stick, asks,
SHALL WE ATTACH IT TO OUR STICK?
The blonde-haired girl says, YEAH.
Daddy says, POP IT ON THERE FOR ME.
JUST TIE IT ON WITH THIS
LITTLE BAND. THERE WE GO.
The blonde-haired girl says, COME ON, LET'S GO.
Daddy says, COME ON.
A trail post had the number three on it and a carving of a fox.
The blonde-haired girl says, OH, LOOK, NUMBER THREE!
LET'S KEEP ON GOING.
I FOUND A LEAF!
IT FEELS REALLY SOFT AND SMOOTH.
A DIFFERENT CURL ON THE OTHER SIDE.
I'M GOING TO PUT IT ON MY
JOURNEY STICK.
The blonde-haired girl and her daddy use a rubber band to attach the leaf to the stick. They then walk past a trail post with the number four on it.
[Birds chirp, upbeat music continues]
The blonde-haired girl says, PINE CONES!
I LOVE PINE CONES.
LET'S PUT THEM ON TOO.
The blonde-haired girl attaches a pine cone to the stick.
The blonde-haired girl narrates,
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO FIND NEXT?
COME ON, BUG, THIS WAY.
A trail post has the number five on it and a badger carved into it.
The blonde-haired girl runs to a tree covered with moss.
The blonde-haired girl says,
LOOK AT ALL THIS GREEN MOSS.
IT FEELS REALLY SOFT AND SMOOTH.
LET'S GO FIND SOME MORE THINGS.
Daddy says, GO ON, THEN.
WHERE SHALL WE GO?
The blonde-haired girl points and says, THAT WAY.
A trail post has the number six on it and a bird of prey carved into it.
The blonde-haired girl says, OOH, I LIKE THIS! I THINK IT'S FROM A TREE.
The blonde-haired girl picks up a twig with green needles.
The blonde-haired girl says, LET'S PUT IT ON OUR STICK.
The blonde-haired girl narrates,
WE FOUND A FEATHER, A GREEN
LEAF, PINE CONES AND SPIKY
GREEN LEAVES.
I'VE FINISHED MY JOURNEY STICK
AND IT REMINDS ME OF LOTS
OF THINGS FROM MY WALK.
I LOVE GOING ON A WALK WITH
MY FAMILY.
In animation, back in the park by the picnic blanket, Jaxon says, BYE!
Jaxon walks on a dirt path with the grey-haired man. Gran Gran and JoJo sit together at a picnic table. Everyone else gathers by the picnic blanket.
Gran Gran says, OH, WHAT A BRILLIANT DAY.
JoJo asks, REMEMBER WHEN WE FOUND THE
COOL DEN AND ALL OF THE BLUEBELLS?
Gran Gran says, THIS JOURNEY STICK
REALLY IS A LOVELY WAY TO
REMEMBER OUR ADVENTURE.
JoJo says, AND IT HELPED US FIND OUR WAY
BACK AS WELL.
[Gran Gran chuckles, gentle music plays]
Gran Gran says, OH, THAT TOO!
JoJo says, I LOVE YOU, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, I LOVE YOU TOO, JOJO.
Gran Gran holds JoJo close. JoJo and Gran Gran smile.
