In the Spring, Gran Gran’s grey-haired neighbour, Cynthia, waters the flowers in her front garden. JoJo and Gran Gran wave on their way to Gran Gran’s house.

Gran Gran says, AH, THAT IS A BISCUIT TIN,

Gran Gran opens the tin. JoJo picks up a shiny light green button and shows it to Panda.
[Gentle music plays]
JoJo says, WHOA!

THIS ONE'S SPARKLY.
Gran Gran puts the lid back on the tin, and JoJo puts the tin back in the box.
[Clink, upbeat music plays]
JoJo opens a box.

Gran Gran picks up a ruffled yellow blouse.

In Gran Gran’s kitchen, Gran Gran sits at a round table with the sewing machine in front of her. JoJo stands beside the box of clothing from the loft. Charlene holds up the bell-bottoms.
Charlene says, OOH, I'D LIKE TO BORROW THESE
SOMETIME.
[Gran Gran laughs]
Gran Gran says, HELP YOURSELF, CHARLENE.
[JoJo gasps, upbeat music plays]

[Gran Gran gasps]

JoJo holds the hat beside the photograph of Great Gran Gran wearing the hat.

OH, THE BUTTON'S MISSING.
Charlene says, AH, IT MUST'VE FALLEN OFF.
MAYBE WE CAN FIND A NEW

Gran Gran says, WHAT A GOOD IDEA, JOJO.
NOW, LET'S GET YOU MEASURED UP
FOR YOUR NEW OUTFIT.
[JoJo squeals happily]
Charlene measures JoJo with a measuring tape. JoJo holds Panda and Charlene measures Panda.
Gran Gran uses tailor's chalk to draw a new, smaller clothing pattern on the old dress. She cuts the pieces out. JoJo searches in the biscuit tin full of buttons. She takes out the sparkling green button.
[Upbeat music plays, tape whirrs, rattling]
Charlene sews the button onto the hat.
JoJo cheers, YAY!
JoJo watches Gran Gran step on the foot pedal for the sewing machine. Gran Gran sews the pieces of the dress together.
[Clicking, upbeat music continues]
Gran Gran holds up a jumper created from the old dress.
[JoJo giggles]
JoJo cheers, YAY!
In the living room, JoJo and Panda wear new matching jumpers. Gran Gran stands behind JoJo and smiles down at her. Charlene holds Gran Gran's tablet with Great Gran Gran on a video call. JoJo poses proudly.

Back in Gran Gran’s living room, Gran Gran sits on the couch with JoJo. Gran Gran looks at the photo album. Beside her, JoJo looks at the tablet. JoJo puts the tablet on the photo album, and Gran Gran looks at a photograph of Charlene in a park, wearing the bell-bottoms. Beside it is a photograph of younger Gran Gran posing in the same bell-bottoms.
Gran Gran says, OOH, THOSE BELL BOTTOMS REALLY SUIT CHARLENE. OH, IT'S ABOUT TIME THEY MADE A COMEBACK.
Gran Gran swipes on the tablet, and a photograph of JoJo in her new jumper appears. JoJo points to a photograph of younger Gran Gran wearing the dress.
[Rustling]
JoJo says, THAT'S YOUR OLD DRESS, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, OH, IT USED TO BE MY FAVOURITE THING TO WEAR.
