Donkey Hodie, a yellow donkey with a purple mane and long eyelashes, exits the windmill through a doorway.
Donkey says, HEE-HAW!
The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.
A person sings, SHE LOVES ADVENTURE, SHE LOVES SURPRISE. WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM, SHE TRIES AND TRIES.
[Slide whistle]
The singers sing, LET'S GO, DONKEY HODIE.
The person sings, IF SHE FAILS, SHE'LL BOUNCE RIGHT BACK. COME ON, DUCK DUCK, GIVE A QUACK.
In front of Grampy Hodie’s house, Donkey jumps onto a drum and bounces off. Grampy Hodie watches her bounce up in front of Duck Duck in the sky.
[Slide whistle]
Duck Duck, a green duck, quacks, KEE-KEE! QUACK!
The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.
In Bob Dog’s front yard, Donkey and Bob Dog, a brown dog, ride on top of bouncing balls.
[Boings]
The person sings, PLAYS WITH BOB DOG, THEY HAVE A BALL. IT'S FUN FOR THEM, IT'S FUN FOR ALL.
Donkey bounces off her ball and lands in front of Purple Panda’s spaceship.
[Boinging, slide whistle]
Bob Dog barks, BOW-WOW!

In outer space, Donkey and Purple Panda ride in the spaceship.
[Whoosh]

Donkey says, HMM.
Panda says, HMM.
[Donkey gasping]
Donkey says, HOW ABOUT WE BUILD A SNOW SNURDLE?
Panda stands up.
[Panda gasping, slide whistle, upbeat music plays]
Panda shouts, HEY-O! LET'S DO IT!
[Panda giggling, then stops]
Panda says, WAIT A MINUTE; IT'S SUMMER. W-W-WHERE ARE WE EVEN GOING TO GET THE SNOW?
Donkey says, AH HA!
Donkey runs away and returns with a pink pail full of snow.
[Slide whistle]
Donkey says, I SAVED SOME IN MY FREEZER LAST WINTER.
Panda says, HEY-O, LET'S BUILD!
Later, in the meadow, small piles of snow lie beside tipped pails. Panda and Donkey build a tall snow snurdle, a creature with long ears, two bulging eyes and a big smile.
[Laughing, upbeat music plays]
Donkey says, HA HA! OH, PANDA, THIS IS SUCH A SILLY AND HEE-HAWESOME SNOW SNURDLE!
Panda says, YEAH, IT SURE IS AND WE SHALL CALL HIM SNURDLEY.
[Panda giggling, playful music plays]
Donkey says, HA! SNURDLEY, IT IS!
Panda says, DON'T WORRY, LITTLE SNURDLEY! I'M GOING TO TAKE REAL GOOD CARE OF YOU AND MAKE SURE THAT NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS TO YOU.
[Panda giggling]
Water drips off Snurdley.
[Water dripping, Donkey gasping, tense music plays]
Donkey says, OH NO! SNURDLEY IS MELTING! AWW, I GUESS IT'S TOO HOT OUT HERE FOR THE SNOW TO STAY FROZEN.
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, WE CAN'T LET HIM MELT! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!
Donkey says, RIGHT. I, DONKEY HODIE, WILL SAVE OUR NEW SNOW FRIEND FROM MELTING!
Panda says, OH, SNURDLEY HAS TO BE IN A COLD PLACE SO THAT HE DOESN'T MELT.
Donkey says, HMM... OH! I KNOW THE PERFECT PLACE. WE CAN TAKE HIM TO SOMEPLACE COLD.
[Panda gasping, chiming]
Panda imagines snow-covered hills and evergreen trees.
[Wing blows]
Panda says, HEY-O! SOMEPLACE COLD IS ALWAYS COLD!
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, BUT SOMEPLACE COLD IS ALSO FAR. UH, WE'D BETTER HURRY.
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, SNURDLEY MIGHT MELT BEFORE WE EVEN GET THERE.
[Snurdley dripping]
Donkey says, HMM. THINK, DONKEY HODIE, THINK, HOW CAN WE GET TO SOMEPLACE COLD QUICKLY? HMM.
[Upbeat music plays]
Trolley arrives and stops in front of Panda, Snurdley, and Donkey.
[Trolley dinging]
Panda says, OH! HEY-O, TROLLEY!
Donkey says, HEE-HAW, TROLLEY!

Donkey says, OH, WE'RE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET TO SOMEPLACE COLD QUICKLY.

Trolley stops on a grassy field beside a pile of snowballs. A penguin wearing a purple sweater with snowflakes on the front wears a purple mask and has a question mark on their head.
The penguin says, PUZZLE! PUZZLE! PUZZLE!
[Trolley dinging twice]
Donkey asks, WOW. WHO ARE YOU?
The penguin says, I AM SOMEPLACE COLD'S PENGUIN WHO LOVES PUZZLES: THE PUZZLING PENGUIN!
Donkey says, THE PUZZLING PENGUIN?! PENGUIN: MM-HMM.
[Snurdley dripping]
Panda says, WAIT, IF YOU'RE FROM SOMEPLACE COLD WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN SOMEPLACE ELSE?
[Dramatic music plays]
Puzzling Penguin says, OOOH! I'VE PUZZLED YOU, HAVEN'T I? GIGGLE-GIGGLE! CHORTLE-HA!
Panda says, WELL, I'M DEFINITELY PUZZLED NOW.
[Boing, birds sing]
Puzzling Penguin says, HMM-HMM! ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN. I HAVE DECLARED TODAY TO BE PUZZLE DAY. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ENTER SOMEPLACE COLD MUST SOLVE MY VERY DIFFICULT PUZZLES FIRST. PUZZLE! PUZZLE! PUZZLE!
[Puzzling Penguin giggling]
Panda asks, UH, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO?
Puzzling Penguin explains, MY PUZZLE CONTAINS FOUR OBJECTS. FIND THE ONE THAT'S DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS, AND THE SNOWBALLS WILL ROLL OUT OF YOUR WAY.
A four-piece puzzle leans against the snowballs. The different pieces include a basketball, a soccer ball, a football, and a volleyball.
Donkey says, AH OKAY, SO WE JUST HAVE TO FIND THE ONE THAT'S DIFFERENT.

Panda asks, YEAH, BUT WHAT? WE NEED TO KNOW SO THAT WE CAN SAVE SNURDLEY.
[Donkey sighing, birds singing]
Donkey says, OKAY, LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT WE SEE, AND MAYBE WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT.
Panda says, OKAY, WELL I SEE FOUR BALLS. OH! WAIT A MINUTE, I WONDER IF THE SIZES ARE DIFFERENT.
Donkey says, HMM... THEY ALL LOOK ABOUT THE SAME SIZE.
Puzzling Penguin pokes their head in front of the puzzle.
[Slide whistle]
Puzzling Penguin says, NO ONE HAS EVER SOLVED THIS ONE! HA-HEE-HA!
Puzzling Penguin moves away from the puzzle.
[Slide whistle]
Panda says, LET'S KEEP LOOKING!
Donkey says, OH. OH, HEY, THE SHAPES! MAYBE THE SHAPES ARE DIFFERENT?
Panda says, OH, LET'S CHECK! EH, THE BASKETBALL IS ROUND...
DONKEY: MM-HMM... THE SOCCER BALL IS ROUND, THE VOLLEYBALL IS ROUND...
Panda says, ...AND... HEY, THE FOOTBALL'S NOT ROUND!
[Donkey gasping]
Donkey and Panda say THE FOOTBALL IS DIFFERENT!

Donkey says, AH HA!
Donkey runs away and returns with a pink pail full of snow.
[Slide whistle]
Donkey says, I SAVED SOME IN MY FREEZER LAST WINTER.
Panda says, HEY-O, LET'S BUILD!
Later, in the meadow, small piles of snow lie beside tipped pails. Panda and Donkey build a tall snow snurdle, a creature with long ears, two bulging eyes and a big smile.
[Laughing, upbeat music plays]
Donkey says, HA HA! OH, PANDA, THIS IS SUCH A SILLY AND HEE-HAWESOME SNOW SNURDLE!
Panda says, YEAH, IT SURE IS AND WE SHALL CALL HIM SNURDLEY.
[Panda giggling, playful music plays]
Donkey says, HA! SNURDLEY, IT IS!
Panda says, DON'T WORRY, LITTLE SNURDLEY! I'M GOING TO TAKE REAL GOOD CARE OF YOU AND MAKE SURE THAT NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS TO YOU.
[Panda giggling]
Water drips off Snurdley.
[Water dripping, Donkey gasping, tense music plays]
Donkey says, OH NO! SNURDLEY IS MELTING! AWW, I GUESS IT'S TOO HOT OUT HERE FOR THE SNOW TO STAY FROZEN.
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, WE CAN'T LET HIM MELT! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!
Donkey says, RIGHT. I, DONKEY HODIE, WILL SAVE OUR NEW SNOW FRIEND FROM MELTING!
Panda says, OH, SNURDLEY HAS TO BE IN A COLD PLACE SO THAT HE DOESN'T MELT.
Donkey says, HMM... OH! I KNOW THE PERFECT PLACE. WE CAN TAKE HIM TO SOMEPLACE COLD.
[Panda gasping, chiming]
Panda imagines snow-covered hills and evergreen trees.
[Wing blows]
Panda says, HEY-O! SOMEPLACE COLD IS ALWAYS COLD!
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, BUT SOMEPLACE COLD IS ALSO FAR. UH, WE'D BETTER HURRY.
[Panda gasping]
Panda says, SNURDLEY MIGHT MELT BEFORE WE EVEN GET THERE.
[Snurdley dripping]
Donkey says, HMM. THINK, DONKEY HODIE, THINK, HOW CAN WE GET TO SOMEPLACE COLD QUICKLY? HMM.
[Upbeat music plays]
Trolley arrives and stops in front of Panda, Snurdley, and Donkey.
[Trolley dinging]
Panda says, OH! HEY-O, TROLLEY!
Donkey says, HEE-HAW, TROLLEY!
[Trolley dinging twice]
Donkey says, OH, WE'RE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET TO SOMEPLACE COLD QUICKLY.
[Trolley dinging six times, Donkey gasping, gentle music plays]
Donkey says, OH, TROLLEY! YES! YOU! COULD YOU TAKE US TO SOMEPLACE COLD QUICKLY?
[Trolley dinging three times]
Donkey says, YES! HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO KNOW A FRIEND WHO CAN TAKE US THERE.
[Donkey chuckling, Panda gasping]

On Trolley, Donkey sits facing Snurdley and Panda. Trolley drives across the meadow.

Trolley stops on a grassy field beside a pile of snowballs. A penguin wearing a purple sweater with snowflakes on the front wears a purple mask and has a question mark on their head.
The penguin says, PUZZLE! PUZZLE! PUZZLE!
[Trolley dinging twice]
Donkey asks, WOW. WHO ARE YOU?
The penguin says, I AM SOMEPLACE COLD'S PENGUIN WHO LOVES PUZZLES: THE PUZZLING PENGUIN!
Donkey says, THE PUZZLING PENGUIN?! PENGUIN: MM-HMM.
[Snurdley dripping]
Panda says, WAIT, IF YOU'RE FROM SOMEPLACE COLD WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN SOMEPLACE ELSE?
[Dramatic music plays]
Puzzling Penguin says, OOOH! I'VE PUZZLED YOU, HAVEN'T I? GIGGLE-GIGGLE! CHORTLE-HA!
Panda says, WELL, I'M DEFINITELY PUZZLED NOW.
[Boing, birds sing]
Puzzling Penguin says, HMM-HMM! ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN. I HAVE DECLARED TODAY TO BE PUZZLE DAY. ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ENTER SOMEPLACE COLD MUST SOLVE MY VERY DIFFICULT PUZZLES FIRST. PUZZLE! PUZZLE! PUZZLE!
[Puzzling Penguin giggling]
Panda asks, UH, WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO?
Puzzling Penguin explains, MY PUZZLE CONTAINS FOUR OBJECTS. FIND THE ONE THAT'S DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS, AND THE SNOWBALLS WILL ROLL OUT OF YOUR WAY.
A four-piece puzzle leans against the snowballs. The different pieces include a basketball, a soccer ball, a football, and a volleyball.
Donkey says, AH OKAY, SO WE JUST HAVE TO FIND THE ONE THAT'S DIFFERENT.

[Donkey sighing, birds singing]
Donkey says, OKAY, LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT WE SEE, AND MAYBE WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT.
Panda says, OKAY, WELL I SEE FOUR BALLS. OH! WAIT A MINUTE, I WONDER IF THE SIZES ARE DIFFERENT.
Donkey says, HMM... THEY ALL LOOK ABOUT THE SAME SIZE.
Puzzling Penguin pokes their head in front of the puzzle.
[Slide whistle]
Puzzling Penguin says, NO ONE HAS EVER SOLVED THIS ONE! HA-HEE-HA!
Puzzling Penguin moves away from the puzzle.
[Slide whistle]
Panda says, LET'S KEEP LOOKING!
Donkey says, OH. OH, HEY, THE SHAPES! MAYBE THE SHAPES ARE DIFFERENT?
Panda says, OH, LET'S CHECK! EH, THE BASKETBALL IS ROUND...
DONKEY: MM-HMM... THE SOCCER BALL IS ROUND, THE VOLLEYBALL IS ROUND...
Panda says, ...AND... HEY, THE FOOTBALL'S NOT ROUND!
[Donkey gasping]
Donkey and Panda say THE FOOTBALL IS DIFFERENT!

The pile of snowballs slides out of Trolley’s path. Puzzling Penguin runs away.
[Panda gasping]
Panda says WE DID IT.

Panda says, NOW TIME TO SAVE SNURDLEY!
[Trolley dinging four times]
