Donkey Hodie, a yellow donkey with a purple mane and long eyelashes, exits the windmill through a doorway.
Donkey says, HEE-HAW!

A person sings, SHE LOVES ADVENTURE, SHE LOVES SURPRISE. WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM, SHE TRIES AND TRIES.
[Slide whistle]

In front of Grampy Hodie’s house, Donkey jumps onto a drum and bounces off. Grampy Hodie watches her bounce up in front of Duck Duck in the sky.
[Slide whistle]
Duck Duck, a green duck, quacks, KEE-KEE! QUACK!

In Bob Dog’s front yard, Donkey and Bob Dog, a brown dog, ride on top of bouncing balls.

Donkey says, AH, THANKS, ROCK STAR PENGUIN. IT SOUNDS LIKE FUN, BUT I'M ON MY WAY TO GIVE A SPECIAL CARD TO GRAMPY. HEY, DO YOU WANT TO SEE IT?
Rock Star Penguin says, SURE! LET ME SEE WHAT YOU MADE.
Donkey says, I WANTED TO TELL GRAMPY HOW SPECIAL HE IS TO ME BY DRAWING THINGS I LOVE DOING WITH HIM. SEE?
Donkey opens the card and shows Rock Star Penguin drawings of dancing with Grampy, watching him play the piano, and floating beneath a giant red hot air balloon.
[Card rustling]
Rock Star Penguin says, WOW! YOU PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO YOUR CARD, DONKEY. I'M SURE GRAMPY WILL LOVE IT.
Donkey says AWW, THANKS, ROCK STAR PENGUIN.
Rock Star Penguin says, YOU'RE SO WELCOME!
[Chuckling, card rustling, wind gusting]
Rock Star Penguin says, WHOA! NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I CAN'T MISS ANY OF THIS GREAT WIND.
Rock Star Penguin sings, SEE YOU LATER, DONKEY HODIE.
Donkey says, HAVE FUN!
The card blows out of Donkey’s hands.
[Card rustling, slide whistle]
Donkey says, OH! OH NO! GRAMPY'S CARD!
Donkey jumps.
[Grunting, slide whistles, rustling]
Donkey says, COME ON! AWW, ALMOST HAD IT. COME BACK, CARD! OH!
[Sighing sadly]
Donkey says, UGH, THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!
[Birds chirping, wind gusting]
Bob Dog asks, WHAT'S SO FRUSTRATING?
Donkey says, OH, HEY, BOB DOG. I MADE A SPECIAL CARD FOR GRAMPY, AND LOOK! IT'S BLOWING IN THE WIND.
Bob Dog says, BOW-WOW! IT SURE IS.
[Donkey sighing]
Donkey says, AND I CAN'T CATCH IT.
Bob Dog says, WELL, I'LL HELP YOU.
Donkey says, YOU WILL?
Bob Dog says, SURE! I'M YOUR FRIEND, AND I'LL ALWAYS HELP YOU.
Donkey says, AWW, THANKS, BOB!
Bob Dog says, SAY, I CAN FETCH YOUR CARD! YEAH! YEAH, REMEMBER? I'M A GREAT FETCHER!
The card blows above Donkey and Bob Dog.
[Slide whistle]
Donkey says, OH, ONE OF THE BEST AROUND.
Bob Dog says, AND...FETCH!
Bob Dog jumps and grabs the card.
[Slide whistle, rustling]
Bob Dog says, BOW-WOWIE! FETCHED IT. HERE YOU GO, DONKEY!
[Happy notes play]
Donkey says, HEE-HAW! I HAVE GRAMPY'S CARD! THANKS FOR HELPING ME, BOB. YOU ARE A HEE-HAWESOME FETCHER!
Bob Dog says, AWW, YOU'RE WELCOME, DONKEY. I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR TO GIVE GRAMPY YOUR VERY SPECIAL CARD.
Donkey says, ME TOO! OFF I GO.
Donkey walks on a stone path.
[Cheerful music plays]
Turtle Lou says, EXCUSE ME, DONKEY! ON A SPEEDY DELIVERY!
He runs past Donkey.
[Whooshing]
Donkey says, YOU GOT IT, TURTLE LOU!
Turtle Lou says, EXCUSE ME, DONKEY. ANOTHER SPEEDY DELIVERY!
Turtle Lou runs past Donkey and she spins. She stops and looks down at a package in her hands.
[Slide whistle, whooshing]
Donkey says, WHOA!
[Gasping]
Donkey says, HEY! W-W-WHERE'S MY CARD?
Turtle Lou stops and looks at the ground. He holds a large box and Donkey’s card for Grampy.
[Slide whistle]
Turtle Lou says, OH! OH! DROPPED THAT. OH. THIS AS WELL. OKAY. LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN. A SPEEDY DELIVERY.
[Energetic music plays, slide whistle, whooshing]
Donkey says, I'VE GOT TO CATCH HIM!
Donkey runs a few steps and stops. She watches Turtle Lou run over a hill and disappear.
[Panting, zooming, birds chirping]
Donkey says, OH NO.
Panda says, HI.
Donkey says, OH, HI, PANDA.
Panda says, HI. UM, WHY THE "OH NO," DONKEY?
Donkey says, OH, I HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM.
Panda says, WHAT IS IT?
Donkey says, I MADE A SPECIAL CARD FOR GRAMPY, BUT TURTLE LOU ACCIDENTALLY HAS IT, AND I CAN'T CATCH UP TO HIM TO GET THE CARD BACK.
Panda says, OH, WELL, I CAN HELP YOU.
Donkey says, THANKS, PANDA!
Panda says, OF COURSE, DONKEY. YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND. I'LL ALWAYS HELP YOU.
[Donkey giggling]
Donkey says, AWW, PANDA.
Panda says, OKAY. NOW, HOW TO GET SOMEWHERE IN A HURRY. UM, I WILL NEED...
Panda runs away, returning wearing a blue and red helmet and riding his skateboard.
[Slide whistle, wheels rumbling, slide whistle, Donkey gasping]
Panda says, MY SKATEBOARD! AND NOW TO GO AND CATCH UP WITH TURTLE LOU!
Panda takes the package from Donkey and skateboards away.
[Giggling]
Donkey says, THANKS, PANDA!
Panda says, TURTLE LOU!
Panda skateboards beside Turtle Lou.
[Slide whistle, footsteps running]
Panda says, UH, HI.
Turtle Lou says, OH, HELLO, PANDA.
Panda says, UM, TURTLE LOU, YOU ACCIDENTALLY GOT DONKEY'S CARD, AND SHE ACCIDENTALLY GOT YOUR PACKAGE.
Turtle Lou says, WELL, I'M EVER SO SORRY ABOUT THAT. LET'S SWITCH!
Panda says, OKAY.
Turtle Lou takes the package, and Panda takes the card.
[Slide whistle]
Panda says, AHH. THANK YOU, TURTLE LOU!
Panda turns his skateboard in the other direction.
[Slide whistle]
Turtle Lou says, YOU GOT IT! SPEEDY DELIVERY, PANDA!
[Whooshing]
Panda returns to Donkey with the card for Grampy. He kicks his skateboard up and catches it.
[Skidding tires, slide whistle, clattering]
Panda says, YOUR CARD, DONKEY.
[Gasping]
Donkey says, THANK YOU, PANDA! YOU ALWAYS HAVE SUCH HEE-HAWESOME IDEAS TO HELP ME.
Panda says, AWW, YOU'RE WELCOME, MY BEST PAL.
[Donkey giggling, birds chirping]
Donkey says, AND NOW, I'M GOING TO BRING THE CARD TO GRAMPY. BYE, PANDA!
Panda says, OKAY. BYE, DONKEY!
[Panda chuckling]
Later, Donkey stops beside tall vines with sticky leaves.
Donkey says, I'M ALMOST TO GRAMPY'S. AH.
Donkey pushes between the vines.
[Grunting, rustling, upbeat music plays]
Donkey says, OH, I CAN'T WAIT TO--
Donkey pushes between two more vines.
[Grunting, rustling, creaking]
Donkey says, --TELL HIM HOW-- HOW SPECIAL HE IS, AND...
Donkey pushes between vines.

The card sticks to a leaf.
[Birds chirping]
Donkey says, MY CARD IS STUCK TO A STICKY, STICKY VINE! THE MOST STICKY THING IN SOMEPLACE ELSE. HOW CAN I GET IT UNSTUCK? THINK, DONKEY HODIE. THINK. HMM.
Donkey pulls on the card.
[Grunting]
Donkey says, UH...
[Grunting, creaking]

Donkey pulls on the card and falls backwards.
[Grunting, yelping, leaves rustling]
Duck Duck says, UH, WHAT-- WHAT'S GOING ON HERE IN—
Donkey stands, with leaves sticking to her head and face.
Duck Duck says, OH, WHOA. UH, HEY, DONKEY. YOU LOOK LEAFY. ARE YOU OKAY-KAY?
Donkey shakes off the leaves.
[Wobbling, gentle music plays, birds chirping]
Donkey says, I'M NOT OKAY! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO BRING A SPECIAL CARD TO GRAMPY. FIRST, IT BLEW AWAY IN THE WIND.
Duck Duck says, OH NO!
Donkey says, BUT BOB DOG FETCHED IT FOR ME.
Duck Duck says, OH, GOOD. THAT'S A RELIEF.
Donkey says, THEN TURTLE LOU ACCIDENTALLY TOOK THE CARD AND SPED OFF.
Duck Duck says, OH NO!
Donkey says, YEAH! BUT PANDA HELPED ME GET IT BACK.
Duck Duck says, KAY-KAY. WELL, IT SOUNDS LIKE TO ME LIKE YOU'VE HAD A PRETTY HARD DAY THERE, DONKEY.
Donkey says, YEAH. AND NOW MY CARD IS STUCK TO THE STICKY STICKY VINE, AND I CAN'T GET IT OFF. I'M SO UPSET.
Duck Duck says, I DON'T BLAME YOU, DONKEY. THAT DOES SOUND UPSETTING!
Donkey says, YEAH, AND I'M WORRIED THAT I WON'T GET MY CARD BACK.
Duck Duck says, OH.
[Gasping]

Duck Duck runs away and returns with a book.

At the windmill, Donkey closes the door behind her and carries three cards outside. Bob Dog, Duck Duck, and Panda wait in her yard.

Donkey says, OKAY, EVERYBODY! I HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU ALL.
Bob Dog says, OOH!
Duck Duck says, OH, REALLY?
Panda says, WHAT? WHAT IS IT?

Donkey opens the card and shows Rock Star Penguin drawings of dancing with Grampy, watching him play the piano, and floating beneath a giant red hot air balloon.
[Card rustling]
Rock Star Penguin says, WOW! YOU PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO YOUR CARD, DONKEY. I'M SURE GRAMPY WILL LOVE IT.
Donkey says AWW, THANKS, ROCK STAR PENGUIN.
Rock Star Penguin says, YOU'RE SO WELCOME!
[Chuckling, card rustling, wind gusting]
Rock Star Penguin says, WHOA! NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. I CAN'T MISS ANY OF THIS GREAT WIND.
Rock Star Penguin sings, SEE YOU LATER, DONKEY HODIE.
Donkey says, HAVE FUN!
The card blows out of Donkey’s hands.
[Card rustling, slide whistle]
Donkey says, OH! OH NO! GRAMPY'S CARD!
Donkey jumps.
[Grunting, slide whistles, rustling]
Donkey says, COME ON! AWW, ALMOST HAD IT. COME BACK, CARD! OH!
[Sighing sadly]
Donkey says, UGH, THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!
[Birds chirping, wind gusting]
Bob Dog asks, WHAT'S SO FRUSTRATING?
Donkey says, OH, HEY, BOB DOG. I MADE A SPECIAL CARD FOR GRAMPY, AND LOOK! IT'S BLOWING IN THE WIND.
Bob Dog says, BOW-WOW! IT SURE IS.
[Donkey sighing]
Donkey says, AND I CAN'T CATCH IT.
Bob Dog says, WELL, I'LL HELP YOU.
Donkey says, YOU WILL?
Bob Dog says, SURE! I'M YOUR FRIEND, AND I'LL ALWAYS HELP YOU.
Donkey says, AWW, THANKS, BOB!
Bob Dog says, SAY, I CAN FETCH YOUR CARD! YEAH! YEAH, REMEMBER? I'M A GREAT FETCHER!
The card blows above Donkey and Bob Dog.
[Slide whistle]
Donkey says, OH, ONE OF THE BEST AROUND.
Bob Dog says, AND...FETCH!
Bob Dog jumps and grabs the card.
[Slide whistle, rustling]
Bob Dog says, BOW-WOWIE! FETCHED IT. HERE YOU GO, DONKEY!
[Happy notes play]
Donkey says, HEE-HAW! I HAVE GRAMPY'S CARD! THANKS FOR HELPING ME, BOB. YOU ARE A HEE-HAWESOME FETCHER!
Bob Dog says, AWW, YOU'RE WELCOME, DONKEY. I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR TO GIVE GRAMPY YOUR VERY SPECIAL CARD.
Donkey says, ME TOO! OFF I GO.
Donkey walks on a stone path.
[Cheerful music plays]
Turtle Lou says, EXCUSE ME, DONKEY! ON A SPEEDY DELIVERY!
He runs past Donkey.
[Whooshing]
Donkey says, YOU GOT IT, TURTLE LOU!
Turtle Lou says, EXCUSE ME, DONKEY. ANOTHER SPEEDY DELIVERY!
Turtle Lou runs past Donkey and she spins. She stops and looks down at a package in her hands.
[Slide whistle, whooshing]
Donkey says, WHOA!
[Gasping]
Donkey says, HEY! W-W-WHERE'S MY CARD?
Turtle Lou stops and looks at the ground. He holds a large box and Donkey’s card for Grampy.
[Slide whistle]
Turtle Lou says, OH! OH! DROPPED THAT. OH. THIS AS WELL. OKAY. LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN. A SPEEDY DELIVERY.
[Energetic music plays, slide whistle, whooshing]
Donkey says, I'VE GOT TO CATCH HIM!
Donkey runs a few steps and stops. She watches Turtle Lou run over a hill and disappear.
[Panting, zooming, birds chirping]
Donkey says, OH NO.
Panda says, HI.
Donkey says, OH, HI, PANDA.
Panda says, HI. UM, WHY THE "OH NO," DONKEY?
Donkey says, OH, I HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM.
Panda says, WHAT IS IT?
Donkey says, I MADE A SPECIAL CARD FOR GRAMPY, BUT TURTLE LOU ACCIDENTALLY HAS IT, AND I CAN'T CATCH UP TO HIM TO GET THE CARD BACK.
Panda says, OH, WELL, I CAN HELP YOU.
Donkey says, THANKS, PANDA!
Panda says, OF COURSE, DONKEY. YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND. I'LL ALWAYS HELP YOU.
[Donkey giggling]
Donkey says, AWW, PANDA.
Panda says, OKAY. NOW, HOW TO GET SOMEWHERE IN A HURRY. UM, I WILL NEED...
Panda runs away, returning wearing a blue and red helmet and riding his skateboard.
[Slide whistle, wheels rumbling, slide whistle, Donkey gasping]
Panda says, MY SKATEBOARD! AND NOW TO GO AND CATCH UP WITH TURTLE LOU!
Panda takes the package from Donkey and skateboards away.
[Giggling]
Donkey says, THANKS, PANDA!
Panda says, TURTLE LOU!
Panda skateboards beside Turtle Lou.
[Slide whistle, footsteps running]
Panda says, UH, HI.
Turtle Lou says, OH, HELLO, PANDA.
Panda says, UM, TURTLE LOU, YOU ACCIDENTALLY GOT DONKEY'S CARD, AND SHE ACCIDENTALLY GOT YOUR PACKAGE.
Turtle Lou says, WELL, I'M EVER SO SORRY ABOUT THAT. LET'S SWITCH!
Panda says, OKAY.
Turtle Lou takes the package, and Panda takes the card.
[Slide whistle]
Panda says, AHH. THANK YOU, TURTLE LOU!
Panda turns his skateboard in the other direction.
[Slide whistle]
Turtle Lou says, YOU GOT IT! SPEEDY DELIVERY, PANDA!
[Whooshing]
Panda returns to Donkey with the card for Grampy. He kicks his skateboard up and catches it.
[Skidding tires, slide whistle, clattering]
Panda says, YOUR CARD, DONKEY.
[Gasping]
Donkey says, THANK YOU, PANDA! YOU ALWAYS HAVE SUCH HEE-HAWESOME IDEAS TO HELP ME.
Panda says, AWW, YOU'RE WELCOME, MY BEST PAL.
[Donkey giggling, birds chirping]
Donkey says, AND NOW, I'M GOING TO BRING THE CARD TO GRAMPY. BYE, PANDA!
Panda says, OKAY. BYE, DONKEY!
[Panda chuckling]
Later, Donkey stops beside tall vines with sticky leaves.
Donkey says, I'M ALMOST TO GRAMPY'S. AH.
Donkey pushes between the vines.
[Grunting, rustling, upbeat music plays]
Donkey says, OH, I CAN'T WAIT TO--
Donkey pushes between two more vines.
[Grunting, rustling, creaking]
Donkey says, --TELL HIM HOW-- HOW SPECIAL HE IS, AND...
Donkey pushes between vines.
[Grunting, rustling, creaking]
Donkey says, AND TO GIVE HIM THIS...THIS... THIS CARD.
[Grunting, rustling, creaking, gasping]
The card sticks to a leaf.
[Birds chirping]
Donkey says, MY CARD IS STUCK TO A STICKY, STICKY VINE! THE MOST STICKY THING IN SOMEPLACE ELSE. HOW CAN I GET IT UNSTUCK? THINK, DONKEY HODIE. THINK. HMM.
Donkey pulls on the card.
[Grunting]
Donkey says, UH...
[Grunting, creaking]
Donkey says, UH...
Donkey pulls on the card.
[Grunting, creaking]
Donkey says, UH... OH.
Donkey pulls on the card and falls backwards.
[Grunting, yelping, leaves rustling]
Duck Duck says, UH, WHAT-- WHAT'S GOING ON HERE IN—
Donkey stands, with leaves sticking to her head and face.
Duck Duck says, OH, WHOA. UH, HEY, DONKEY. YOU LOOK LEAFY. ARE YOU OKAY-KAY?
Donkey shakes off the leaves.
[Wobbling, gentle music plays, birds chirping]
Donkey says, I'M NOT OKAY! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO BRING A SPECIAL CARD TO GRAMPY. FIRST, IT BLEW AWAY IN THE WIND.
Duck Duck says, OH NO!
Donkey says, BUT BOB DOG FETCHED IT FOR ME.
Duck Duck says, OH, GOOD. THAT'S A RELIEF.
Donkey says, THEN TURTLE LOU ACCIDENTALLY TOOK THE CARD AND SPED OFF.
Duck Duck says, OH NO!
Donkey says, YEAH! BUT PANDA HELPED ME GET IT BACK.
Duck Duck says, KAY-KAY. WELL, IT SOUNDS LIKE TO ME LIKE YOU'VE HAD A PRETTY HARD DAY THERE, DONKEY.
Donkey says, YEAH. AND NOW MY CARD IS STUCK TO THE STICKY STICKY VINE, AND I CAN'T GET IT OFF. I'M SO UPSET.
Duck Duck says, I DON'T BLAME YOU, DONKEY. THAT DOES SOUND UPSETTING!
Donkey says, YEAH, AND I'M WORRIED THAT I WON'T GET MY CARD BACK.
Duck Duck says, OH.
[Gasping]
Duck Duck says, HEY! I HAVE AN IDEA. BE RIGHT BACK.
Duck Duck runs away and returns with a book.
[Slide whistles, upbeat music plays]
Duck Duck says, I'M BACK. KAY-KAY. SO, THIS BOOK IS CALLED, "ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE STICKY STICKY VINE," AND I GOT IT OPEN TO THE CHAPTER THAT TELLS YOU HOW TO UNSTICK THINGS THAT ARE STUCK TO THE VINES, SO, LET'S SEE WHAT THIS BOOK SAYS.
[Donkey giggling]
Duck Duck says, OH. NOW THIS IS INTERESTING. IT SAYS HERE THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK THE VINE POLITELY TO UNSTICK.
Donkey asks, ASK IT POLITELY?
Duck Duck says, MM-HMM.
Donkey asks, REALLY?
Duck Duck says, YEAH, THAT'S WHAT THE BOOK SAYS.
Donkey says, WELL, LET'S TRY!

Donkey says, UM, HEY, UH, STICKY STICKY VINE, COULD YOU UNSTICK MY SPECIAL CARD, PLEASE?
The sticky sticky vine drops the card.
[Slide whistle, rustling, gasping]
Donkey says, I GOT MY CARD BACK! THANKS, STICKY STICKY VINE! AND THANK YOU, DUCK DUCK, FOR ALWAYS HELPING ME FIND THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEMS IN YOUR BOOKS.
[Happy music plays]
Duck Duck says, AWW, YOU'RE WELCOME, DONKEY. MY BOOKS AND I WILL ALWAYS HELP YOU OUT WHENEVER WE CAN.
Donkey says, BYE, DUCK DUCK.
Duck Duck says, BYE, DONKEY! NOW, WHAT WAS I DOING? WHATEVER IT WAS, I SHOULD GO BACK TO IT.
At Grampy’s cabin, Donkey and Grampy sit on the porch swing. Grampy holds the card.
[Whooshing, birds chirping]
Grampy says, OH, WOW, DONKEY! THIS IS WONDERFUL.
Donkey says, THANKS, GRAMPY! THESE ARE ALL THE THINGS I LOVE DOING WITH YOU.
[Happy music plays]
Grampy says, MM-HMM.
Donkey says, I LOVE WHEN WE PLAY MUSIC. OH, IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY.
[Grampy chuckling]
Donkey says, OH, AND I LOVE WHEN WE PRACTICE HOOF-DANCING. GRAMPY, YOU'RE SUCH A FUN TEACHER.
Grampy says, AWW.
Donkey says, OH, AND WHEN WE GO ON BALLOON RIDE ADVENTURES! THAT'S WHY YOU'RE SO SPECIAL TO ME.
Grampy says, AWW, THANK YOU, MY LITTLE DONKEROO. I LOVE MY CARD.
Donkey says, WELL, YOU'RE WELCOME, GRAMPY. TELLING YOU ALL THE THINGS I LOVE DOING TOGETHER MAKES ME FEEL EVEN MORE THANKFUL FOR YOU.
[Birds chirping]
Grampy says, I'M THANKFUL TO HAVE SUCH A SPECIAL GRANDDAUGHTER IN MY LIFE. YOU'RE KIND, YOU MAKE ME LAUGH, AND YOU PUT YOUR HEART INTO EVERYTHING YOU DO.
Donkey says, AWW.
Grampy says, LIKE THIS CARD.
Donkey says, WELL, THIS CARD ALMOST DIDN'T GET TO YOU.
Grampy says, REALLY?
Donkey says, BUT MY FRIENDS HELPED ME.
Grampy says, THEY DID? WELL, I GUESS YOU'RE THANKFUL TO HAVE THEM IN YOUR LIFE TOO, HUH?
Donkey says, I SURE AM.
[Whooshing]
At the windmill, Donkey closes the door behind her and carries three cards outside. Bob Dog, Duck Duck, and Panda wait in her yard.
[Door slamming, happy music plays]
Donkey says, OKAY, EVERYBODY! I HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU ALL.
Bob Dog says, OOH!
Duck Duck says, OH, REALLY?
Panda says, WHAT? WHAT IS IT?
Donkey says, YOU ARE SO SPECIAL TO ME, AND I AM THANKFUL TO HAVE EACH OF YOU WITH ME EVERY DAY. THAT'S WHY I MADE A CARD FOR ALL OF YOU!
Donkey gives each of her friends a card.
Bob Dog says, BOW-WOW! WELL, THANK YOU, DONKEY!
Panda says, THANK YOU FOR THE SPECIAL CARD!
Duck Duck says, THANK YOU, MY FRIENDS.
[Rock music plays]
