[Upbeat music plays, birds sing]

Paths lead to houses in a small village on a grassy hill. Four sails on a windmill rotate slowly.

Singers sing, HERE COMES DONKEY HODIE.

Donkey Hodie, a yellow donkey with a purple mane and long eyelashes, exits the windmill through a doorway.

Donkey says, HEE-HAW!

The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.

A person sings, SHE LOVES ADVENTURE, SHE LOVES SURPRISE. WHEN THERE'S A PROBLEM, SHE TRIES AND TRIES.

[Slide whistle]

The singers sing, LET'S GO, DONKEY HODIE.

The person sings, IF SHE FAILS, SHE'LL BOUNCE RIGHT BACK. COME ON, DUCK DUCK, GIVE A QUACK.

In front of Grampy Hodie’s house, Donkey jumps onto a drum and bounces off. Grampy Hodie watches her bounce up in front of Duck Duck in the sky.

[Slide whistle]

Duck Duck, a green duck, quacks, KEE-KEE! QUACK!

The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.

In Bob Dog’s front yard, Donkey and Bob Dog, a brown dog, ride on top of bouncing balls.

[Boings]

The person sings, PLAYS WITH BOB DOG, THEY HAVE A BALL. IT'S FUN FOR THEM, IT'S FUN FOR ALL.

Donkey bounces off her ball and lands in front of Purple Panda’s spaceship.

[Boinging, slide whistle]

Bob Dog barks, BOW-WOW!

The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.

In outer space, Donkey and Purple Panda ride in the spaceship.

[Whoosh]

The person sings, JUST FOR FUN, SHE'LL TAKE A TRIP. WITH PURPLE PANDA, IN A SPACESHIP.

Purple Panda says, HEY-O!

The singers sing, DONKEY HODIE.

Text reads, “Created by Adam Rudman and David Rudman. Developed by Ellen Doherty. Inspired by the work of Fred Rogers.” Title: Donkey Hodie.

[Slide whistle]

The person sings, HEE AND A HAW AND A HAW AND A HEE. SOMEPLACE ELSE IS THE PLACE TO BE.

The singers sing, WITH OUR PAL, DONKEY HODIE.

[Slide whistle]

Donkey says, HEE-HAW!

Episode title: The Penguin Diner-rama.

Donkey walks to a crowd standing beside a stone path.

[Crowd chattering excitedly, birds chirping, upbeat music plays]

Donkey says, HEE-HAW, EVERYBODY!

Panda says, OH, HEY, DONKEY.

Others say, HI, DONKEY.

Donkey says, I CAN'T WAIT FOR HARRIET'S LATEST INVENTION!

Panda says, OH, ME TOO. SHE SAID THAT IT'S SOMETHING ARTISTIC, AND SOMETHING THAT IS GREAT FOR NATURE.

Turtle Lou says, ARTISTIC AND GREAT FOR NATURE? WHAT COULD THAT BE?

A skunk wearing a white shirt says, WELL, I DON'T KNOW. I MEAN, IF I KNEW, I'D KNOW.

Harriet opens her barn doors. She walks outside, and the doors slide shut behind her.

[Harriet cheering, doors clicking, door banging]

Harriet says, WELCOME, NEIGHBOURS OF SOMEPLACE ELSE. TODAY, I WILL UNVEIL MY LATEST ARTISTIC INVENTION!

[Crowd chattering excitedly, birds chirping]

Harriet says, AS YOU ALL KNOW, I HAVE BEEN INSPIRED MANY TIMES BY THE PENGUINS OF SOMEPLACE ELSE IN MY ART.

[Noise of agreement from crowd]

The skunk says, OH, THEY'RE SO ADORABLE.

Panda says, I LOVE THE PENGUINS.

Harriet says, SO, NOW, TO SHOW MY APPRECIATION FOR THOSE LITTLE PENGUINS, I GIVE YOU…

[Suspenseful music plays, crowd gasping]

Harriet pulls a paint-splattered tarp off her invention and reveals a wooden post with curved perches near the top. Above the perches are a food dispenser, an umbrella, and speakers.

[Tarp rustling]

Harriet says, THE PENGUIN DINER-RAMA!

The crowd repeats, THE PENGUIN DINER-RAMA?!

[Cheering, birds cheering, laughing]

Harriet says, NOW, THIS WAS ESPECIALLY DESIGNED BY ME AS A COMFY PLACE WHERE THESE WONDERFUL PENGUINS CAN EAT.

[Chuckling]

Harriet says, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS.

[Crowd gasping]

Harriet says, OUR PENGUINS LOVE TO PERCH ON BRANCHES, SO THERE'S PLENTY OF BRANCHES FOR PERCHING. AND PENGUINS LOVE VERY BERRIES, SO THIS HERE IS CHOCK FULL OF THEM. AND PENGUINS LOVE THE SHADE, SO THERE'S LOTS OF SHADE HERE.

[Crowd exclaiming]

Harriet says, I ALMOST FORGOT. INITIATE PENGUIN MUSIC!

[Classic rock music playing, crowd exclaiming]

Panda says, WOW. SHE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING!

Turtle Lou says, OH, YES!

A mechanical arm waves a red fan beside the pole.

[Whirring, classic rock music continues, wind gusting]

Harriet asks, AND NOW SEE THIS HERE? YEP, I ADDED A NICE COOL BREEZE FOR THE PENGUINS. MM-HMM, ISN'T THAT NICE? AND OH, OH! HERE IT IS. THAT'S VERY BERRY DINER MUSIC! YEAH, I THOUGHT THAT WOULD BE A NICE TOUCH. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

[Crowd chatters excitedly]

Harriet says, NOW ALL WE NEED IS FOR THE PENGUINS TO COME AND ENJOY IT.

[Penguins gibbering]

Harriet says, SPEAKING OF PENGUINS, HERE THEY COME!

[Penguins gibbering, footsteps pattering, wind gusting, whirring]

Harriet says, OH, WELCOME, MY LITTLE PENGUIN PALS! I PRESENT TO YOU THE PENGUIN DINER-RAMA!

Three penguins run away from the Diner-rama.

[Penguins gibbering, slide whistles]

Donkey says, HEY! PENGUINS! WHY DIDN'T THE PENGUINS EAT?

[Whirring, wind gusting]

Harriet says, I HAVE NO IDEA!

[Sighing sadly]

Harriet says, NOW I'M SAD. I THOUGHT THE PENGUINS WOULD LOVE THIS. WHY DON'T THEY LIKE MY PENGUIN DINER-RAMA? MAYBE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT, LET'S SEE. WELL, LET'S SEE...

Panda says, I FEEL SO BAD FOR HARRIET. MAYBE THERE IS SOME WAY WE CAN HELP.

[Harriet talking to herself]

Donkey says, YES! I, DONKEY HODIE, WILL HELP HARRIET FIGURE OUT WHY THE PENGUINS DIDN'T DINE AT THE DINER-RAMA.

Panda says, ME TOO.

Donkey says, HARRIET, WE ARE ON THE CASE, AND WE'LL FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THOSE PENGUINS.

Panda says, YES, AND WHY THEY AREN'T EATING AT YOUR DINER-RAMA.

[Wind gusting, whirring]

Harriet says, OOH, YES! YES! AND I CAN USE THAT INFORMATION TO MAKE CHANGES SO THE PENGUINS WILL STOP AND EAT. OH, THANK YOU, DONKEY AND PANDA!

Donkey says, YEAH!

Panda says, YOU'VE GOT IT, HARRIET.

In a wooded area, Donkey and Panda stop beside grey fallen trees.

[Birds chirping]

Donkey says, OKAY, WE'LL TRY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PENGUINS.

Panda says, YES. BUT FIRST, WE NEED TO FIND THEM. UH, LET'S SEE. I'M NOT SEEING THEM ANYWHERE.

[Penguins gibbering]

Donkey says, BUT I DO HEAR THEM. LISTEN.

[Panda gasping]

Panda says, AND LOOK! THE PENGUINS!

[Donkey gasping]

The three penguins look up at berries growing on vines. One jumps onto a low perch on a vine.

[Penguins gibbering, slide whistle, boinging, upbeat music plays]

Donkey says, OH, WOW. OKAY, PANDA, LET'S PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THINGS AROUND US TO FIND CLUES.

Panda says, YOU'VE GOT IT. AND WE'LL USE OUR SENSES.

Donkey says, MM-HMM! OH, LOOK! I SEE THAT THE PENGUINS ACTUALLY DO LIKE VERY BERRIES. JUST LIKE AT THE DINER-RAMA.

[Birds chirping, munching]

Panda says, MM-HMM. AND THESE ARE JUST LIKE THE BRANCHES ON THE DINER-RAMA.

Donkey says, HMM. AND THEY ARE UNDER THE SHADE OF ALL THOSE TREES, SO THEY DEFINITELY LIKE THE SHADE. AND HARRIET HAS SHADE AT THE DINER-RAMA.

Panda says, HMM. WHAT OTHER PENGUIN CLUES CAN WE FIND?

Donkey says, HMM. OH, LOOK. I AM OBSERVING THAT THE PENGUINS ARE STAYING CLOSE TO THE GROUND. I DON'T SEE THEM PERCHING ON ANY HIGH BRANCHES.

[Munching, penguin chatters]

Panda says, MAYBE THEY DON'T GO HIGH BECAUSE THEY DON'T FLY?

Donkey says, SO, MAYBE HARRIET'S PENGUIN DINER-RAMA IS TOO HIGH UP OFF THE GROUND FOR THEM?

Panda says, LET'S GO TELL HARRIET.

Donkey says, YEAH!

[Footsteps running]

At the Diner-rama, Harriet peers at the food dispenser through a magnifying glass.

[Classic rock music playing, whirring]

Harriet says, I STILL CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHY THE PENGUINS DON'T LIKE THIS.

Donkey says, HARRIET! WE OBSERVED THE PENGUINS AND FOUND AN INTERESTING CLUE.

Harriet says, OH! DO TELL!

Panda says, OKAY. YES, THE PENGUINS LOVE VERY BERRIES. YES, THEY LOVE PERCHING ON BRANCHES, AND YES, THEY LOVE BEING IN THE SHADE.

Harriet says, OKAY, THOUGHT SO.

Donkey says, OH, BUT DID YOU KNOW THAT PENGUINS EAT FROM LOW BRANCHES? THEY STAY CLOSE TO THE GROUND.

Harriet says, I DID NOT KNOW THAT. SO…SO MY PENGUIN DINER-RAMA MUST BE TOO HIGH! WELL, THAT'S AN EASY-PEASY FIX.

Harriet picks up a hammer.

[Slide whistle]

Harriet says, LET'S MAKE THIS LOW! OKAY. YEP. YEAH. A LITTLE OFF OF THERE.

Donkey and Panda back away from the Diner-rama and watch Harriet work.

[Tools whirring, clanking]

Harriet says, OH, LOOKING GOOD NOW! OKAY, AND VOILA! THE PENGUIN DINER-RAMA IS LOWER.

[Classic rock music playing, whirring, wind gusting]

Donkey says, OH, I'M SURE THAT WILL DO IT.

[Penguins gibbering]

Panda says, OH, AND WE'RE IN LUCK, BECAUSE HERE COME THE PENGUINS!

Harriet says, MM-HMM!

[Penguins gibbering]

The penguins look at the lower Diner-rama.

[Penguins gibbering]

The penguins run away.

[Slide whistle, whooshing]

Harriet says, AWW, COME ON, PENGUINS! WHY DON'T YOU LIKE MY DINER-RAMA?

Donkey says, HMM. SO IT'S NOT THE HEIGHT OF THE FEEDER THAT THEY DON'T LIKE.

Panda says, RIGHT. OKAY. LET'S GO AND OBSERVE SOME MORE.

[Sighing sadly]

Donkey and Panda watch the penguins standing by the berry vines.

[Penguins humming a tune]

Panda says, THE PENGUINS ARE HUMMING A SONG, SO THEY MUST LIKE MUSIC, WHICH HARRIET HAS AT HER DINER-RAMA.

[Penguins humming a tune, birds chirping]

Panda says, OH, NO! WILL WE BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHY THE PENGUINS DON'T LIKE HARRIET'S PENGUIN DINER-RAMA?

Donkey says, OH, YES, WE WILL, PANDA! BELIEVE IT.

Panda says, OKAY.

Leaves blow past Duck Duck as she walks towards the penguins.

[Duck Duck humming, wind gusting]

The penguins run away.

[Penguins gibbering, slide whistle, whooshing]

Donkey asks, DID YOU OBSERVE THAT, PANDA?

[Birds chirping]

Panda says, YEAH, I SURE DID, DONKEY.

Panda and Donkey say, THOSE PENGUINS DON'T LIKE--

Panda says, DUCK DUCK.

Donkey says, WIND. WELL, IS IT WIND OR DUCK DUCK?

Panda says, HMM, I DON'T KNOW. HOW DO WE FIND OUT?

Donkey says, HMM. THINK, DONKEY HODIE, THINK. HMM. OH! I KNOW. WE SHOULD TEST IT OUT.

Panda says, OH, OKAY. HEY, DUCK DUCK?

Duck Duck runs to Panda and Donkey.

[Whooshing, slide whistle]

Duck Duck says, WHAT-WHAT?

Panda says, HI.

Duck Duck says, HEY-HEY.

Panda says, UM, COULD YOU GO OVER THERE AND SKIP AROUND A LITTLE BIT AGAIN?

Duck Duck says, UH, KAY-KAY.

[Duck Duck humming, upbeat music plays]

Duck Duck says, HEY-HEY! HOW'S IT GOING, PENGUINS?

[Penguins gibbering happily]

[Panda chuckling]

Panda says, WELL, THEY DO LIKE DUCK DUCK.

[Squawking, laughing]

Duck Duck says, I THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE THAT JOKE. WELL, IT WAS NICE CHATTING WITH YOU, PENGUINS. I'LL SEE YOU LATER.

[Penguins gibbering]

Duck Duck says HEY-HEY!

[Wind gusting, penguins gibbering, whooshing]

Donkey says, PANDA, THE WIND JUST BLEW AGAIN AND THE PENGUINS WADDLED OFF. I THINK THE PENGUINS DON'T LIKE THE WIND.

[Panda gasping, birds chirping]

Panda says, AND THERE'S A WINDY FAN AT THE DINER-RAMA! COME ON!

At the Diner-rama, Harriet looks at her invention.

[Classic rock music playing, wind gusting]

Donkey shouts, HARRIET! WE OBSERVED THAT THE PENGUINS DON'T LIKE WIND.

Harriet says, OH!

Panda says, YEAH, AND YOUR FAN CREATES WIND.

Harriet says, THEY DON'T LIKE WIND? WELL, THIS IS EASY TO TEST. DEACTIVATE FAN.

[Whirring, beeping, whirring and gusting stop]

Harriet says, OKAY. NO MORE WIND.

Panda says, OH, AND HERE COME THE PENGUINS.

Harriet says, OH, LOOK! IT'S TRUE!

Panda says, OKAY!

The penguins approach the Diner-rama.

[Penguins gibbering, classic rock music continues]

A penguin says, OOH!

[Penguins gibbering, upbeat music plays, slide whistle]

The penguins sit on the low perches oF the Diner-rama.

[Munching]

Harriet says, OH! THE PENGUINS ARE EATING AT MY PENGUIN DINER-RAMA!

Donkey and Panda say, THEY SURE ARE!

[Harriet giggling]

[Classic rock music playing]

Donkey sings, YOU CAN SIT IN THE SHADE AS YOU'RE SQUIBBIT AWAY, RELAXING WITH YOUR PENGUIN PALS.

[Slide whistle]

Panda sings, IN NEED OF A TREAT? THERE'S VERY BERRIES TO EAT. THEY WILL MAKE YOUR TUMMY SMILE.

[Happy music plays]

Donkey says, OH, YOU ARE SO WELCOME, HARRIET!
