[Gasping]
Donkey says, GRAMPY, THINK WE COULD REALLY DO IT?
Grampy says, WELL, DONKAROO, THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT.
[Whooshing]
Later, Donkey stands in front of the windmill. Her friends gather in front of her.

[Crowd exclaiming, upbeat music plays]
Panda says, A HEY-YO TO THAT, DONKEY.
Bob Dog says, AND I WOULD LIKE TO THROW IN A BOW-WOWY TOO.
Duck Duck says, YEP! YEP! YEAH!
Donkey says, THANKS! WELL THEN, I WAS WONDERING IF IT'S POSSIBLE TO HAVE ONE BIG SOMEPLACE ELSE NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION FOR EVERYONE TONIGHT?
The crowd says, OH, YEAH! LET'S DO IT.
Harriet says, OH! OOH! OOH! WELL, WHAT KIND OF CELEBRATION WOULD WE HAVE?
[Wind gusting]

[Chalk scribbling]
Everyone says, UH?
[Slide whistle]
Donkey says, AND VOILA!
Everyone says, UH? OKAY?
Donkey says, SO, ACCORDING TO OUR BRAINSTORM, THE CLOCK STRIKES MIDNIGHT, AND THEN BOB DOG'S BIG BALL CAN DROP ON PANDA'S BONGO, WHICH WOULD BOUNCE UP IN THE AIR AS DUCK DUCK AND HARRIET FLY BY ON THEIR NIGHT FLIGHT, WHICH WE WHISTLE AT.
[Donkey giggling]
Donkey says, WE CAN'T FORGET THE WHISTLE. AND DROP RAINBOW SNOWFLAKES ON TURTLE LOU'S PACKAGES BEFORE HE OPENS THEM. THEN AFTER ALL THAT, WE BLOW THE HODIE HOEDOWN HORNS!
[Panting]
Donkey says, OH! OH, THAT'S A LOT.
[Crowd grumbling, wind gusting, gentle music plays]
Donkey says, WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?
Panda says, WELL, DONKEY, IT WOULD BE FUN TO CELEBRATE ALL TOGETHER, BUT I'M NOT SURE. BECAUSE THERE'S NO ROCKING FOR ME. THAT'S IMPORTANT. MY MAMA AND I ROCK AND BONGO.

Bob Dog says, YEAH, AND I'D MISS OUR BARK-A-HOWL-A-SQUEAKSY.

Donkey says, BUT WE CAN'T DO EVERYTHING.
Grampy says, YEAH, AND I UNDERSTAND TOO, DONKEY, BECAUSE I'D MISS OUR HOEDOWN.
Donkey says, I'D MISS THAT TOO. I GUESS EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING SPECIAL THEY DO ON HOLIDAYS LIKE NEW YEAR'S EVE. AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S NOT A GOOD FEELING TO HAVE OUR TRADITIONS CHANGED.
Grampy says, I AGREE, DONKEY. WE WOULDN'T WANT ANYONE TO GIVE UP THEIR TRADITIONS FOR NEW ONES IF THEY DIDN'T WANT TO.
[Slide whistle]
Penguin Referee says, THAT'S RIGHT! OUR NEW YEAR'S EVE TRADITIONS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO US.
[Slide whistle, gentle music plays, wind gustling]

The crowd says, WHOA!
Donkey says, YEAH! WE'LL CELEBRATE OUR OWN WAY TONIGHT ON NEW YEAR'S EVE, AND THEN WE CAN CELEBRATE WITH THE WHOLE NEIGHBOURHOOD TOMORROW ON NEW YEAR'S DAY!
[Cheering, laughing]
Grampy says, IT WOULD BE A NEW TRADITION.
Harriet says, OKAY, BUT WHAT DO WE DO?
Everyone says, THINK, EVERYBODY. THINK.
Frannie says, WELL, WE WOULD NEED SOME FOOD FOR THE CELEBRATION.
Bob Dog says, OH, YEAH! A LOT OF FOOD!

Everyone says, YEAH!
Grampy says, OH, I LOVE THAT! AND I HAVE AN IDEA WHERE WE CAN HAVE THE CELEBRATION. HOW ABOUT AT THE RAINBOW TREE?

Panda says, A HEY-YO TO THAT, DONKEY.
Bob Dog says, AND I WOULD LIKE TO THROW IN A BOW-WOWY TOO.
Duck Duck says, YEP! YEP! YEAH!

[Crowd grumbling, wind gusting, gentle music plays]

Harriet says, OKAY, BUT WHAT DO WE DO?
Everyone says, THINK, EVERYBODY. THINK.

[Both chuckling]
Donkey says, I HOPE ALL OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS HAD A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR'S EVE AS WELL.
Grampy says, I'M SURE THEY DID. I CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE WITH THEM ALL TOMORROW. A NEW TRADITION WITH OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Donkey says, YEAH, ME TOO! THERE'S GOING TO BE SO MUCH YUMMY FOOD TO EAT.
Grampy says, AND YOU KNOW, I HAVE A GOOD IDEA FOR A SONG WE CAN ALL SING.
Donkey says, OOH! WHAT SONG?
[Wind gusting]
