[Bouncy theme music plays]

One red block with eyes has a numberling with the number One. Two, Three, Four, and Five run beside One.

The Numberblocks sing, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, NUMBERBLOCKS.

Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten jump.

The Numberblocks sing, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN, NUMBERBLOCKS. ONE AND ANOTHER ONE IS TWO, AND ANOTHER ONE IS…

[Chiming]

Two Ones combine and make Two. Another One jumps on the stack and makes Three.

Three sings, ME.

The Numberblocks sing, THAT’S THREE. FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE, TIME FOR SOME NUMBER FUN. YOU CAN COUNT ON US, WE'RE THE NUMBERBLOCKS.

[Chiming]

Title: Number Blocks.

[Paint squelching, Two humming, cheerful music plays]

Two stands behind an easel in front of a castle. He paints the castle and moat on a canvas.

Two says, THERE! FINISHED!

[Slide whistle]

Three says, STAND STILL, TWO! I HAVEN'T FINISHED PAINTING YOU.

Four says, I FINISHED MY PAINTING!

[Two gasping]

Two grabs his canvas, and he and Three run to Four’s easel.

Two says, WOW!

[Nine giggling, whooshing]

Four’s painting of Nine shows a multi-coloured Nine posing by a wizard’s hat. Nine, who is grey, poses in front of the castle.

Three says, THAT ISN'T NINE. THE COLOURS ARE WRONG.

Four says, BUT I'M PAINTING THE TIME THAT MAGIC WAND MADE NINE ALL COLOURFUL. REMEMBER?

[Chiming]

In a flashback, colourful Nine says, NINE COLOURS! BEAT THAT!

[Laughing, flashback Nine laughing, present Nine giggling]

The flashback ends.

Two says, YOU CAN TELL IT'S NINE. HIS CHEEKY GRIN, THOSE SQUARE EYES.

Nine says, AND MY NUMBERLING IS A GIVEAWAY.

[Nine giggling]

Two says, THAT'S TRUE! OOH! I THINK ONE WOULD LIKE THIS PICTURE. I'LL GIVE IT TO HER AS A PRESENT.

[Two giggling]

Two carries his canvas away. Three chases him and then stops beside her easel.

Three says, WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MY PAINTING YET. OH.

Nine says, HMM.

Nine and Four look at Three’s painting of Two.

Four says, SOMETHING'S NOT QUITE RIGHT.

Three says, NOT QUITE RIGHT? IT'S TWO! LOOK! GLASSES, SPARKLY SHOES, ORANGE BLOCKS. UH.

[Three gasping, whooshing, upbeat music notes play]

Three looks at her painting, showing two as three blocks tall. She looks at the colourful Nine and the wand in Four’s painting.

Three says, AH-HA! WAIT UNTIL TWO GETS BACK! YOU'LL SEE IT'S JUST LIKE HIM.

[Rumbling, slide whistle]

The drawbridge of the castle opens, and Three runs inside. The drawbridge closes behind her.

Nine says, HMM. THAT'S TWO'S NUMBERLING THERE, BUT--

Four says, SOMETHING IS A LITTLE ODD.

[Three giggling]

In the castle, Three holds the wand.

Three says, CLEVER OLD ME.

[Chiming, drawbridge rumbling, upbeat music plays]

A light flares in a castle window. The drawbridge lowers, and Three walks out. She looks like her painting of Two.

Three says, HIDE!

[Slide whistle]

Three as Two stands in front of her painting.

Three, imitating Two, says, IT'S ME! TWO! HOW DO YOU DO?

Nine says, OH, HELLO--UH, TWO?

Three as Two looks at the painting.

Three, imitating Two, says, I WANTED TO SEE THREE'S LOVELY PORTRAIT. IT'S SO LIFELIKE.

Nine says, HMM.

Four says, UM. HOLD ON A MOMENT. WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES?

Three, imitating Two, says, I DANCED THEM OFF.

Nine says, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, IF YOU'RE TWO, YOU SHOULD HAVE TWO BLOCKS.

Three, imitating Two, says, I DO! LOOK!

Two of Three’s blocks light up.

Three, imitating Two, says, ONE, TWO. TWO BLOCKS!

[Slide whistle, buzzing]

Four points and says, AND THAT ONE THERE?

[Gentle music plays, birds chirping]

Nine says, HOLD ON! ONE MORE THAN TWO IS THREE, NO MATTER WHAT COLOUR YOUR BLOCKS ARE.

Three, imitating Two, says, I'M NOT ME! UM, I MEAN. TIME TO HIDE!

Two arrives, still splattered with paint.

Two says, HI, EVERYONE! I'M BACK!

Three, imitating Two, says, AH!

[Crashing, whistling, gasping]

Three, imitating Two, holds the wand. She runs into Two. Nine and Four run to them. Five number One blocks stand together: one greenish-yellow, one green, one blue, one pink, and one red. The green block holds the wand and has paint splatters.

[Gasping, slide whistle, giggling]

The two green blocks combine into Two. The red, pink, and blue blocks stack and become Three.

Two says, HMM. THAT'S FUNNY.

Four says, AND THAT IS TWO.

Nine says, WE CAN SEE YOU'VE GOT TWO BLOCKS.

[Birds chirping]

Three says, HMPH! ANYONE CAN SEE TWO BLOCKS. OOPS.

[Upbeat music plays, panting]

Three runs around the castle, and passes a mirror. A second Three appears.

Three says, OH! MORE BLOCKS!

[Slide whistle, leaves rustling]

The second three jumps into a bush.

Three says, DISGUISE TIME.

[Grunting, slide whistles, leaves rustling, footsteps pattering]

Three jumps into the bush and bounces out as Six. Two, Four, and Nine arrive.

Four shouts, WAIT, THREE, IT'S—HUH? WELL, THAT'S NOT THREE BLOCKS.

[Gentle music plays]

Two says, I SEE TWO LIGHT BLUE BLOCKS, TWO LIGHT PINK BLOCKS, AND TWO DARK RED BLOCKS.

Nine says, AND THREE LOTS OF TWO IS SIX!

Six says, WELL DONE, YOU! THAT'S VERY CLEVER! WE COULD PLAY THIS GAME FOREVER!

[Laughing, slide whistles, leaves rustling, Ones giggling, boinging]

Six runs to the mirror, and another Six appears. They jump into the bush. Four number Ones appear, and a square with a block missing in the middle jumps out of the bush.

Two asks, WHO'S THIS?

[Chiming, birds chirping]

Nine says, IT'S A SQUARE SHAPE THREE BLOCKS ON EACH SIDE, LIKE ME, BUT THERE'S ONE BLOCK MISSING.

Four says, I SEE FOUR LIGHT GREEN BLOCKS IN THE CORNERS AND FOUR DARK BLUE BLOCKS IN BETWEEN. AND FOUR PLUS FOUR…

Nine says, IS THE SAME AS NINE MINUS ONE!

Two says, IT'S EIGHT!

[Chiming, majestic music plays]

Eight says, OCTOBLOCK SILLY COLOURS! ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT! SILLY COLOURS!

[Leaves rustling, rustling]

Three steps out of the bush. One watches her run to Eight, Nine, Four, and Two.

Three says, THIS LOOKS FUN. CAN I PLAY?

Eight says, OCTOBLOCK WILL SAVE THE DAY!

[Leaves rustling, slide whistles, boings, playful music plays]

Eight jumps into the bush, and a zig-zagging Numberblock jumps out. Two Ones peer out of the bush.

Three says, OH, THAT'S HARD. I SEE THREE GREEN BLOCKS ON TOP.

Four says, AND FOUR BLUE BLOCKS BELOW.

Nine says, AND THREE AND FOUR IS SEVEN!

Seven says, THAT'S RIGHT! LUCKY I'M USED TO BEING DIFFERENT COLOURS.

[Slide whistle, leaves rustling]

Seven stands up as a straight stack. The two Ones in the bush combine and make Two.

Two says, WE'RE NOT!

Three says, AREN'T WE ALL A SILLY SIGHT? I THINK IT'S TIME TO PUT THINGS RIGHT.

[Whooshing, chiming, everyone gasping, playful music plays]

Three takes out the wand and changes everyone to yellow.

Three says, THERE! NOW, WE'RE ALL THE PERFECT COLOUR.

Everyone else says, THREE!
