Nature walks in the City

When Emily Elizabeth and Clifford learn the legend of Babette, the giant, mysterious white whale of Birdwell Island, they go whale watching to try to catch a glimpse of the legend. After all, it's said that she's even bigger than Clifford! But when day turns to dusk and the mysterious whale still hasn't been spotted, Clifford begins to worry that he'll never meet someone big like him.

Upon finding an instrument case, Bamboo Love curiously wonders what's inside. She quickly opens it and guesses it is a guitar. She tries and tries but can't get it right. Before giving up, two birds fly in with the bow stick and gracefully pass it over the strings creating a magical sound. Grabbing hold of the bow, Bamboo Love tries and is mesmerized by the rich music the Violin offers.

When Chief Madwe runs out of jam, Buddy and the kids decide to pick fresh blueberries for him to make more jam. Adventure Sue flies them to a distant berry patch but when she twists her ankle, the kids have to give up their berry picking to get Sue back to safety.

She has to earn it. Hoping for an easier way, Yadina heads... to the Secret Museum! Our heroes travel back in time to meet Benjamin Banneker, who's also trying to solve a riddle that his mother gave him. Yadina suggests he just ask his mom for the answer, but Benjamin is determined to solve it on his own, just like he's determined to build a clock on his own later in life. When Benjamin overcomes each challenge, seeing the amazing feeling that washes over him inspires Yadina to go home and keep working on that riddle until she solves it herself, because overcoming a challenge can make you feel proud.

Marissa is an 11-year-old Ojibwe girl from Curve Lake, Ontario. She goes out in a canoe to harvest wild rice by hand. It's a seed that's a traditional food for her people. Her best friend is April and together they take a bike ride then work together to roast and winnow the wild rice. Back at Marissa's home, they make a delicious wild rice pudding. Marissa introduces us to her Grandmother, who is the Chief of Curve Lake and Marissa's role model. We meet Marissa's dog ,Blue, and her bird ,Birdie, and check out her favourite things: her hockey medals, a special staff made by her uncle, which is decorated in the colours of the medicine wheel, as well as the feathers she wears in her hair at pow-wows. Marissa's special word is ,minomen, which means ,wild rice, in Ojibwe.

Ginger and the Pea-Rexes have made it to the peak of the Snowy Mountains. They have fun exploring the new terrain, building snow-saurs and having snowball fights... so much fun in fact they manage to wake a baby Kiwimammuthus from its hibernation. Ginger and the Pea-Rexes are at first wary of this vast creature, having only ever seen it from a distance. However it's just as intrigued by them as they are by it, and it wants to play! But as Ginger and the Pea-Rexes try to involve it in their games, it keeps nodding off, losing count in hide and seek, and sliding down canyon walls in a slumber before startling awake. Each time it nods off, Ginger and the Pea-Rexes try to sneak away and allow it to hibernate, but it keeps fighting sleep, desperate to play. Ginger realizes the huge baby needs sleep way more than play, so makes a game out of sleeping, which is ultimately successful in lulling the Kiwimammuthus back into hibernation. Thrilled with her success, Ginger moves to sneak off only to realize the game has put the Pea-Rexes to sleep too!

JoJo and Gran Gran run into Jared and Cynthia playing basketball. JoJo joins in, but doesn't feel like she is tall enough to play it well. They make an adapted version of basketball called 'JoJo Ball' instead. JoJo learns you can adapt things to make them easier.

The Game Catchers arrive on a planet where everything is made of wool!
