Meanwhile, Elinor and her friends follow a bee to its hive and observe the honey-making process, where they discover that honey is goopier when it has less water in it. Using this new-found knowledge, the kids are inspired to solve Mrs. Llama's ketchup problem by adding water and making it less goopy, just in time for Ari to enjoy his delicious sandwich. Yum!

The Garden of Instruments is untidy and Jambo can't find his grandmother's violin. Jasmine finds it but she accidentally breaks the strings. Before Jambo realises, she replaces them with more unconventional ones: a cat hair, a shoelace, a guitar string and a washing line. The result is disastrous. Luckily Jambo has all kinds of spares in his hat.

Mandisa has a craft idea for Ben and Kiyari who love watching Autumn leaves turn colour - it's a Fall tree in a box! The kids use pencil erasers to make Fall-coloured paint dots in recycled shoe boxes. They each cut out a tree shape from construction paper and then use a puncher to make tissue paper leaves. When the boxes are sealed and a straw is inserted, the crafters can blow air into their box to create a windy Fall scene!

It's Phillipa's birthday so the cadets plan a surprise birthday party for her! But things soon get out of hand when they leave the gate open and invite in an unexpected guest.

Davey and Abigail are enjoying peace when they hear a cacophony of cockatiels. They're the Colossus Cockatiel Choir and rehearse every day. Davey and his family hit pots and pans in front of the birds to make them go away, but they start bopping, thinking they're playing drums. Next, they get Judy to dress up as a cat and scare them, but that doesn't work. Abigail tries to make a deal with the birds, but it's no use, they'll rehearse rain, hail or shine. This gives Davey an idea. Everyone is dressed in winter gear, the floor is covered in 'snow' (flour), and Abigail throws paper snowflakes to the sky. This finally causes the birds to leave. Abigail says they might have to keep it winter all year round as the birds loved singing so much they promised to come back once the snow stopped!

Trini's Mom is coming home for military leave and Trini wants her first breakfast in Qyah to be perfect - which means serving up Dad's famous omelets! One day, the kittens and Grandpa are walking along the shore. Suddenly, Grandpa stumbles, and his foot gets stuck between the rocks. Fortunately, Grandfather's friend, a helicopter pilot, is patrolling the beach. But from so high up it is hard to see that the kittens needed help. How can the kittens signal the pilot? Of course, they have a brilliant idea!

Kit and Pup are using a chisel and hammer to carve a stone statue. But when Kit's impatience gets the better of her the carving doesn't quite go to plan. Through their adventures Kit and Pup find out that stone comes from the ground, can be hard and can be made into things. In the live action investigation the little scientist tests whether all stones sink in water, and in the material world a mini explorer looks out from the surface of a porous rock.

Then, It's a special day at the Shelter: Charlie, a local journalist, has come to do a story on Rina, a baby Sumatran rhino who has just arrived. But the little rhino is too nervous to have her picture taken! Audrey's parents take the impatient reporter on a tour of the Shelter, while Audrey and Tommy do everything, they can to make Rina feel comfortable, even at the risk of getting dirty for the photo!

Morley has received the official Project Rube flag for the lab and he can't wait to raise it. Together he and the Science Team use wind energy and the simple machine, the wedge, to build a Rube Goldberg machine that will raise the flag up high for all to see.

Then, Slippy's Dad insists he get rid of all his inventions to free up some space. Slippy can't bear to, so decides to store them on the dark side of Mercury. When he realizes that Mercury spins, turning the cold side into an astronomically hot one, the gang hurries to find a way to move the inventions before they melt. Slippy builds a huge umbrella to shade his inventions while Ella becomes stranded on a ledge when her scooter and space boots overheat. Will Slippy save his inventions or his best friend?

To take care of a forest, you gotta know what's going on in the forest. Taviss joins Courtney from Parks Canada on a mission to set up remote monitoring devices across the vast Pukaskwa National Park. But it's no easy feat: they'll have to hike off trail, ATV, and speed boat to access these hard-to-reach spots. Taviss is up for the adventure!

Leo and the crew are ready to take on the nasty invader the Rusty Crayfish, a greedy invasive species that eats all the food and takes over the homes of native crayfish. Sayat and Christian get right in the stream with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority to search for the big crustacean and come across some other creatures along the way. When they also discover a native crayfish, there's only one thing left to do: Crayfish race!
