Cabinetmaker
Akeylah meets up with Sean, a renowned cabinetmaker, to learn his trade and get to work on building their own cabinet from scratch. The first step is to cut the pieces of wood precisely and for this they head next door to a millwork studio to use their CNC machine. Once the pieces are cut, Sean shows how to edgeband the front parts of the cabinet to make it smooth. Next up, Sean shows Akeylah how to assemble the cabinet and where to drill the screws in. Finally, it’s time to add the front door on Akeylah’s cabinet masterpiece.
